Nicknames/Aliases: Quinn, Five
Age: 18

Physical Appearance: Jae has very curly black hair that she has always pulled back, as it normally gets in her face when it's loose. She has warm olive skin that's lightly freckled. She has dark brown eyes. She's around 5'8", slender, smaller of bust and wider of hips (pear-shaped, if you will). She has a yin-yang tattoo on the back of her neck.
Species: Human
Personality: Jae has a talkative mouth, sharp eyes, and diligent ears. This is due to her abnormalities. But, since they don't really hurt anyone (physically), it allows her to grow her more...flawed...parts of her personality. She's very gossipy, being able to hear and see a lot. Combine her with her childish mannerisms, and she can be someone's worst nightmare. However, she is very charming and charismatic, often being the center of attention. She's also very honest and loyal, and won't back down from a challenge. She is also very perceptive. When she sees that the moment really calls for her to stay silent, she will. Most of the time. She's also very clean, and tries to make sure everyone and everything is clean as well, as she HATES bad smells.

Passive Abilities: Heightened sense of hearing and sense of taste.
Active Abilities: Heightened sense of sight, sense of smell, and sense of touch.
Weaknesses: Sickness is the greatest weakness to her. If she's got a cold, the flu, or anything else that tends to weaken senses, that probably weakens her even worse. And when one sense goes, one or two tend to go too. Also, if she's tired, it's difficult for her to stretch her active senses. But the most important weaknesses would have to be things that can blind her senses, for example, tear gas.

Physical Appearance: Oliver is about 5' 10" with a chubby build. He wears baggy clothes to hide some of this.
Species: Unknown, probably has some human blood
Personality: Shy and reserved, but not afraid to correct anyone with his know-it-all attitude.

Active Abilities: Mind-reading, Prophecy, and can use telepathy to communicate with others in a 100-foot radius

Personality: Shy and generally quiet unless spoken to. When with someone, he's always friendly and polite, if he likes them or not. He can often end up "taking care of" friends, giving him the nickname Mom

He is able to sense the emotions of people around him

Active Abilities:
Calm
When someone touches him, he can choose for them to feel a calming effect. In his secondary form, he is able to calm without touching them. This is something that is very easy for others to resist, so it isn't very good for defense.
Shapeshift
He is able to change into his secondary form. Occasionally, he can edit slightly, such as by making a girl's body instead of a boy's, changing hair length, etc

Physical Appearance: Small and thin, wearing a jester outfit and a mask that they never take off, and may attack people for attempting to take off

Personality: They are a bit child-like, though very shy and nervous

Active Abilities:
Glitch
They can make themself and others glitch-- disappearing for a few seconds, becoming non-solid, distorting their appearance or voice, etc. It all comes from one ability, to make something "stop existing", though they have not learned how to do this. It's dangerous, anyways, and also can randomly go out of control, hurting them or others at varying amounts
Hide
It's not connected to their shade form or Glitch ability, but seems to be what their normal ability would have been. They are able to make their body disappear into their mask. Though it's hard, if the mask is broken, they will be forced out in a new shade form and won't be able to regain any other forms
Weaknesses (If any):
Shadow
They can change into a shadow form. It is different from their hide form, but pretty similar. It's only their mask, with the spikes turned into whispy trails and the entire thing color-swapped (so white is black and black is white). In this form, they are able to fly and pass through walls.
Shapeshift
They are able to change between their normal, shadow and mask forms, and change slightly from their Glitch, of course, but can also do other shapeshifting. However, this usually takes them 2-3 hours to change into their target form.
Card Games
They are able to trap weak creatures into cards, and summon them. They are able to call these cards and brainwash the trapped beings to work for them. Besides the trapping process, this is a fairly easy, and they even have a solid card collection. During summoning, however, they almost completely lose their vision and rely heavily on the summoned cards.

Physical Appearance: standing at 5’3” you’d never guess from their appearance just how much energy lies in Alice’s body. Her bright yellow hair and crystal blue eyes compliment each-other, creating a sense of friendliness and approachability that not everyone has. She has somewhat pronounced eyelashes, and loves to wear cute but not revealing outfits. She is rather flat chested, but she doesn’t really mind.
Gender: Asexual, identifies as female and none of her classmates actually know what’s in her pants.

Species: Artificial “Vat-Grown” Esper
Personality; Despite her existence as a living weapon designed by an illegal scientific firm. Alice is extremely friendly, and doesn’t like hurting other people, becoming extremely distraught when told to do so. While the database that contained instructions for her creation was long since destroyed, she still contains the genetically encoded information, and has a constant fear that people want to “crack open (her) head to get the funny words out.” She is extremely empathetic to sentient life, and will only use her powers in self defense.

Passive Abilities:

Negligible Senescence/Biological Immortality: much like a hydra (the microorganism) she does not undergo aging.

Self Bio-engineering: to better adapt to harsh environments, she can auto-engineer her body’s organic structure and immunity.

Bio-computer Resonance: As a Biocomputer, she is capable of resonating and connecting with digital, analogue, quantum, and biotechnical systems, her body conforming to inputs as needed.


Active Abilities:

Telekinesis: As the product of an artificially modified Esper gene seed grown into a nano-mechanically enhanced human zygote, she has incredibly powerful telekinetic abilities. But, as previously stated she doesn’t like using them much for combat.

Telepathy:Her ESP extends to Telepathy.

Weaknesses (If any):

Battle incompetence: her blatant refusal to coherently strategize in fights or use her powers for combat makes her an easy opponent to defeat.

Backstory (Optional):Created 16 years ago by the New Genesis program of the Gold Horizon Initiative, Alice is the result of nearly 60 years of research and development (and the discovery of an ancient alien monolith) into the study of PSI, ESP, and Genetic engineering technologies. After sixty years of work it produced it’s only single successful subject, before being shut down by the government for unlawful possession and creation of a weapon of mass destruction. She has been shifted around several different agencies including the FBI, the GTU, CPS, and even the FDA at one point, before finally finding a home in the care under the Sanera institute and the Sanera Organization at large.

Nyx tries to keep in her Mortal Form most of the time, its compact and easy to move around in. She wears dark colors often that clash with the white streak in her hair, and uses makeup sparingly to emphasize the contrast of her color scheme. Her true form is rather massive, and is basically impossible to move on land especially given how young she is.
Species: Greater Deep One
Personality: Many would describe being around Nyx as odd in general, due in no small part to her culinary proclivities. At a distance she manages to put up a facade of either bored or disinterested in most things, only showing mild interest when topics of cooking come up. But its when people start getting to actually know Nyx that the severity of interacting with her settles in.

Nyx is a Deep One, as such she is afflicted with a general hunger for anything and everything that lives. She's managed to stifle this hunger in the name of forwarding her magical knowledge, but she never makes any attempt to hide this from anyone. As a matter of fact, she's extremely honest about how delicious everyone looks to her, and if allowed will go into great detail about the cooking strategies she would employ if it wouldn't put her curriculum at risk.

Her greatest passion since leaving the Void has been cooking, and she's spent the majority of her time since cultivating those skills. She's travelled the world, interacted with peoples all over both from Mundane and supernatural walks of life just to deepen her knowledge of cuisine. It would be easy to classify her as a professional chef even, considering how much knowledge and experience she's accumulated.

The sad thing is that she employs this knowledge almost exclusively in holding back the manic hunger all Deep Ones suffer from, and she drives off most peers or acquaintances with unfettered and meticulous descriptions of how she would serve them up. Add onto that her blatant dismissal of personal space and her overall morbid sense of humor, Nyx is undoubtedly struggling to maintain social interactions amongst other supernatural creatures. That being said, she's completely aware of this difficulty and has no problem accepting it.

After all, her destiny in life is eating stuff in an endless void for millenia. Compared to that, being known as a creep with cannibalistic interests is pretty much par for the course.

Passive Abilities: Deep Regeneration- Nyx seeps black goo from her skin or wounds in a combat scenario. This goo is versatile at many things, one of which being knitting her back together when injured. While Nyx isn't immortal her healing factor is fairly active.

Bottomless Stomach-Even young Greater Deep Ones like Nyx are able to pack in enough food to feed countries, making their constant hunger even more difficult to manage.

Deep One's Maw- Even in her mortal form, Nyx's jaws are able to tear through anything they're able to get ahold of. Even the strongest substances become butter in the maws of the Deep.

Active Abilities: Deep One's Influence- All Deep Ones have a rather extensive history of swaying minds and spreading influence, even to other realms. The catch is that its mostly nullified if the target has magical abilities, making them far more of a threat to the mundane world instead of thee supernatural. Even so, there are several organized groups that keep watch for rogue deep one activities, as the consequences of their actions going too far could be dire for more than just their victims.

Deep One's Sight- Nyx has got a lot of eyes, like an insane number of eyes. Far more than her mortal form would imply. These mostly start showing themselves when she feels threatened or her hunger grows beyond her limits, but she can also rip them off of herself. Letting these eyes float around or leaving them in places gives her immense opportunities to keep watch over areas, but her control over her flying eyes are wonky at best due to lack of practice.


Weaknesses (If any): Void's Call- Despite how nightmarish the Void is, even to greater Deep Ones, all natives feel a pull towards it that cannot be overcome. It is their duty to feast there, and most are never able to escape it forever. Because of this, Nyx is pretty much destined to return sooner or later. Until that breaking point is reached, the Call manifests in certain quirks of hers. Her propensity for swimming, being near bodies of water, preference for dark places and morbid humor are all results of this built-homesickness.

Deep One's Hunger- Nyx has never known the feeling of being full, despite sometimes eating gargantuan portents. The hunger is something the Deep Ones learn to utilize for their life of eating, and Nyx is no better. At best, she can stave it off momentarily depending on what she eats, but there is no lack of hunger in her life. If she ever goes without eating for too long, she could fall into a feeding frenzy until she eats enough to stave it off.

Backstory (Optional):
The Deep Ones rarely interact with the realms of other peoples, usually residing in a void only accessible through gates scattered along the ocean floor devouring anything that falls in. Within the void is only hunger, with the entire realm pretty much acting as a dumping ground for the Supernatural realm's unwanted.

Greater Deep ones like Nyx's parents spend countless years wandering the void fighting all kinds of nightmarish creatures both native to the void or tossed in by all kinds of magic users. This endless hunt is interrupted only when two Greater Deep Ones come across one another, ad find themselves matched. Following the tenets of their people, the pair will engage in ferocious combat, tearing each other apart for years at a time before one finally succumbs.

Her father lost the battle, and what wasn't devoured was left to rot in the void for some time until Nyx was birthed from his carcass to continue the endless task. However, young Deep Ones such as herself are incredibly weak compared to their forebears, and are usually forced to hide from most residents in the void until they have grown enough to continue their task.

But with tattered memories of her father still pulsing in her young mind, Okhranyxiumalkhor chose a route that few of her kind ever took: hiding in another realm. The pull of the void was strong, but every so often a Deep One would find interests elsewhere. For Nyx, her reason for leaving was fear.

Managing to track dumped entities to one of the ocean gates, she made her way to the realm of mortals and began plotting for her eventual return. Unfortunately, the first island she came across had quite the culinary history. She initially came to the island seeking to devour its occupants to bulk up for the future, only to immediately be waylaid by the savory aromas the locals had cooked up. Lured by the promise of food, Nyx instead took over the island, using her burgeoning powers of the Deep to enthrall the locals and turn the entire place into her personal restaurant.

After several years of bountiful worship eventually led to Nyx developing a rather developed taste for the culinary arts, with her even making her subjects teach her to cook when a storm nearly destroyed her burgeoning kingdom. As her skills grew, so too did her lust for more knowledge of the culinary arts. For the next decade she would wander the world, observing culinary methods from realms both mundane and supernatural.

It was only after learning under a world class chef that Nyx's journey was interrupted by a horrifying realization: she had just wasted the majority of her time in the mortal realm learning how to cook. She had completely forgotten her initial goals of training up for her eventual return to the void, and panicked upon realizing her powers of the deep were still infantile for even the lesser deep ones of her home.

Nyx went into a frenzy of planning as she hurried to scrap together what she knew about Magic, only for a saving grace to find her in the form of a letter from a particular institute.

Steve is tall and slender at 6′ 3½″ (1.92 m) and 155 lbs. He typically wears casual attire, such as T-shirts, blue jeans, and sneakers.
Species: Human
Personality: Steve is an accommodating extrovert who loves people and has a knack for generating a fun environment and reducing conflict. He gives a general vibe of calmness and warmth. He dislikes conflict but easily asserts himself when pushed too hard.
Passive Abilities:
Superhuman strength: Strength far beyond that of a normal human being with no effort whatsoever to gain that strength, such as strength training or weight-lifting.
Superhuman immune system: He can't get sick aside from food- and drink-related illnesses such as hangovers. Even then, he still has a quick refresh rate from these.
Active Abilities:
Supernatural healing: He can heal anyone of any illness or injury by merely touching them, provided he knows what the illness is.
Weaknesses:
Jinx of the Strength: If he uses his strength to harm an innocent person, his abilities will abruptly vanish.

Physical Appearance: Ezra is 5'9", with a lean yet strong build for his age, which he hides under layers and layers of fur and coats, which give him a sort of to-your-eternity-blushing-fushi-ztxxawcq2qo4coyv.jpgeskimo-like appearance. He has a pointed face, milky skin, and gold eyes that tend to be slightly hidden with his shaggy white hair. He's always walking around like he's ready for an expedition to the North Pole, even in 100 degree weather.
Species: Human
Personality: Ezra is a very quiet and aloof character, not speaking unless he's spoken to. He's not shy, he's just introverted. Sometimes people see him as a cold person, but he really isn't, he cares a lot for people close to him. He tends to space out sometimes as well, so listening isn't his strong suit.
Passive Abilities: Heat Reduction: The air surrounding him cools down instantly as soon as he walks into the room. It impacts the air at least 10 feet around him in all directions.
Active Abilities: Storm manipulation: Ezra can create different types of storms and control them at will. He can create snow, hail, and sleet.
Weaknesses: If there's enough warmth, enough to overpower his heat reduction, then the storms won't work, and instead turn into rain. Also, if he isn't focused properly or he feels insecure about himself, his storms will be very weak.
