THE STORY SO FAR...
War! War has raged for hundreds of years, in a deep corner of space as-yet untouched by human eyes, between two races: the Atlanteans, a race sworn to protect the mystical Aqua Shards with the full extent of their magical might; and the OS1R1S, a terrifying race of sentient robot/organic hybrids who seek the Aqua Shards to aid in their conquest of the galaxy.
For a time, it seemed as though the two sides had reached a stalemate, until ANUBIS, an upstart OS1R1S, seized control of his faction and began a ruthless onslaught. The Atlanteans fought back as best they could, but they were helpless before the new might of the OS1R1S. They were slaughtered, almost down to the last man. With dwindling numbers, the might of the Atlanteans' magic waned, further weakening them and allowing them to be crushed.
In desperation, the last keepers of the Aqua Shards sent them away, far away, protected by one last Atlantean. When ANUBIS arrived, it was too late: the Aqua Shards were gone.
Well on their way to find a new home, new protectors...
