"Love."
"LOO-OOVE."
"I wanna see L-O-V-E, hon-ey."

Twelve men find themselves rudely awakened in an idyllic, picture-perfect replica of a 60's Americana town. A booming voice kindly invites them to participate in a dating gameshow.

The rules are simple: participate in the game of love or face the ultimate, ahem, "heartbreak." As the contestants navigate the town's charm, it becomes abundantly clear that this is no ordinary dating show. Cameras lurk behind every picket fence, speakers are hidden in the flower beds, and insidious mechanics are scattered like confetti throughout the town.

The Producer, a voyeuristic entity with a penchant for drama, orchestrates the contestants' every move. Need mood lighting for that first date? The Producer's got it covered. Romantic music to set the ambiance? Consider it done. Life or death scenarios that interrupt an otherwise lovely dinner? Well, The Producer has a twisted sense of humor.

As the contestants wade through the dating pool, they soon discover that The Producer's definition of love is as unconventional as a polka-dotted zebra. From a charming stroll in the park to a spontaneous dance-off that could literally be their last, the men quickly realize that the line between romance and survival is blurrier than a bad TV signal from the '60s.

A flamboyant voice from the darkness offers you some delightful discourse.

Q: Hi handsome, can you tell us a bit about yourself?
A: “Hey there. Well, I'm just your average art student, you know, constantly immersed in the world of creativity and, you know, self-expression. I find inspiration in unconventional mediums and blurring the lines between reality and imagination. But, you know, that's just the surface. There’s more to me than meets the eye. I might have a few secrets hidden in my sketchbooks or buried in the layers of my paintings.”

Q: Why don’t you describe your ideal date for me?

A: "Oh, my ideal date? Well, picture this: a dimly lit art gallery, filled with intriguing pieces that spark conversation and curiosity. We'd stroll through the exhibits, sharing our interpretations and delving into the minds of the artists.

Q: What can you bring to a relationship, apart from that pretty face?

A: “I bring a mix of depth and spontaneity to the table. As someone who's always pushing boundaries in the art world, I offer a creative and open-minded perspective. Conversations with me would be a journey through ideas and emotions, exploring the intricacies of life and love.”

Q: Oh my, you’re the whole package… Are you ready for love?

A: “If you're up for a journey filled with deep conversations, unexpected adventures, and a touch of artistic spontaneity, then, yes, I'm as ready for love as an abstract painting waiting to be interpreted. Let's see what kind of masterpiece we can create together.”

Professional Poker Player

You’re snuggly attached to a cushioned armchair in a pitch-black room lit only by a glaring spotlight directed at your face and a subtle gleam flaring off of a camera lens.

A flamboyant voice from the darkness offers you delightful discourse.

Q: Hi handsome, can you tell us a bit about yourself?
A: “I'm a bit of a thrill-seeker. As a poker player, the rush of adrenaline from a well-played hand is something I chase both in and out of the casino. I've got a taste for the finer things in life, but I've also learned to navigate the ups and downs that come with the territory.

So, if you're looking for someone who knows how to play their cards right, both in poker and in life, you've found your match. Just be ready for a ride that's as unpredictable as the turn of a card.”

Q: Why don’t you describe your ideal date for me?

A: “Well, you know, when it comes to my ideal date, I'd say it's all about the thrill and excitement, just like a high-stakes poker game. I'd want to take my date to a bustling casino, surrounded by the bright lights and the constant hum of anticipation. The adrenaline rush you get from placing bets and making strategic decisions – it's a feeling that's hard to beat.”

Q: What can you bring to a relationship, apart from that pretty face?

A: “While I may be a professional poker player with a penchant for risk, there's more to me than just an addiction to gambling. My strategic mindset, honed at the poker table, translates into thoughtful decision-making and problem-solving in everyday life. I'm accustomed to reading people, understanding their cues, and adapting to different situations.”

Q: Oh my, you’re the whole package… Are you ready for love?

A: “Love, huh? Well, it's a bit like poker, isn't it? Full of uncertainty and a whole lot of emotions. In the world I navigate, it's all about calculated moves and reading the signs. Love, like a poker game, requires a mix of strategy and intuition.

Am I ready for it? Well, I'm used to playing the odds, but matters of the heart, that's a different game altogether. Love might be a wild card, but hey, I've faced my fair share of unpredictable hands at the poker table. So, if love comes my way, I'll approach it like a high-stakes game – with a mix of caution and the willingness to take a gamble. Who knows, maybe it'll be the winning hand I never saw coming.”

I think it would be good if you made one character you're really invested in and one we can kill off in the game, haha - but it's up to you!

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I'm still interested, I'm just trying to work out my characters' dialogue atm. I'll put up something sometime this week.

Same here! Definitely thinking of some characters, but not sure on the details yet. Life has been..a bit rough

Don't worry! I'm really patient. We can take our time, just relax, let the creativity come naturally, haha.

Sure, if you want - but The Producer will only refer to them by their cards.

Two WIPs, let me know if I need to change anything!

A: “Well I have to say I have been absolutely blooming these past couple of weeks. Why I've been getting studio gigs around the clock piling in my schedule, the company's been wonderful in all of them.”

Q: Why don’t you describe your ideal date for me?
A: “... I mean I'm engaged at the moment so I can't really be saying much, I know my love probably going to watch this at some point" He waves at the camera before blowing a quick kiss.

I think I'm unfortunately dipping out of this roleplay, I just have no character inspiration for it. Very cool concept though. Good luck!
