  Ryan's coloring symbolizes his being a Servant of Darkrai, being primarily colored like him, his eyes being pale blue, and his vest pattern and "mask" being red in coloring along with markings on his hands and feet, and his body being covered in greyish white markings similar to the smoke like substance on Darkrai's head.
  
  
  
• Personality
  
  Ryan is reclusive, preferring to keep to himself rather than make friends. This is primarily due to the ongoing war between the major legendaries. He is aware that wars result in casualties, and wishes to avoid any attachment that might cause him to lose his nerve and, in doing so, cost him the opportunity to return back to his world with his memories. Despite his realization that he needs to win to go home, Ryan has reservations about killing, only rarely resorting to it in the events that he has to or if his opponent forces him to.

  Ryan's background is unknown due to the circumstances of his being in the Pokemon world and he shares this issue with every human brought into this world.

  Ryan's cloak gives him a slight boost in speed, usually to aid him in either fleeing or battling.
  
  
  
• Skills
  
  As a Servant of Darkrai, Ryan retains all of his abilites as a Riolu as well as a slight resistance to Psychic-Type moves and complete immunity to having his thoughts read against his will. He also gains the ability to induce nightmares on sleeping Pokemon except fellow Servants. The affected Pokemon must be in a deep sleep for this to work however and it will not work on those affected by sleep-inducing moves as these are seen as artificial sleep and those affected are easily roused.
