  Maroon grew up in a small village of faunus on the outskirts of human civilization. They were about as far as anyone could live in Grimm territory without being completely overrun. His tribe, due to their physical strength and knowledge of using auras with dust, were able to protect their home from Grimm while distancing themselves from the hostile segregation that humans display towards faunus. Maroon's community was to remote to get caught up in the White Fang. For the first time Maroon has decided to venture to human civilization in order to seek a more adventurous life. He hopes to find a way to rid his town of grimm. Becoming a hunter seems like a good way to accomplish this.

  Semblance: Regeneration. Maroon has regeneration that far surpasses what a normal aura would give. Wounds will seal themselves to prevent blood loss. Normal gashes, burns, or non fatal injuries will heal in minutes. He is able to regrow an entire limb in a day. However he cannot regenerate from a killing blow.

  The mace is filled with three different kinds of dust: Dark Orange, Green, and Dark blue. The dust can be released by a button on the handle. Maroon activates the dust with his aura. It is generally carried as a one handed mace. In this form it is 4 feet long. The shaft can extend 6 additional feet.

  The mace head can be pulled down the shaft to convert the mace to a rocket launcher. The dust cannon can shoot 10 ice-lava steam bombs when it is completely full.

  Born into a wealthy upperclass English family, Mocha Cwraith was a girl of many talents. Piano, singing, cooking, you name it, she could do it. However, one day her family was attacked by the White Fang for unknown reasons. A giant battle broke out between her father, a renowned warrior in the country, and the White Fang warriors. After the dust settled, her father was near death, lying beside Mocha's dead mother. He called for Mocha. His last request was to kill him and take his serpent sword. To avenge him and defeat the evils of the world. Mocha reluctantly stabbed her father in the chest, took the sword, and ran away to the country side to train in the ways of the warrior.
  
  
  The sword in the story is Revenant

  Semblance: "Charge", like it suggests it means that she is an almost unstoppable force when running blankly forward.
  
  
  Edit; The principle of this is that when running forward with Revenant, Wraith , or Banshee, attacks against her bounce off until the charge forward is completed. This effect extends to sword swings.
  
  
  Weapon(s): Her 3 swords Revenant, Wraith and Banshee.
  
  
  When fighting against others. Mocha will use her 3 sword style, a la Raiden from Metal Gear, she will grab 2 of her swords with her heels (refer to the sketch) and grab the last with her right hand and do a one handed hand stand on her left arm.
  
  
  Most of the time she picks up Banshee and Wraith with her heels and Revenant with her hand.

  The thing about her is that she is mostly emotionally unstable. She will have mood swings to the extreme. One second she could be happy as day, then the next second she could be trying to slice you up. Be wary of this.

  General Personality:Herb comes off as a powder keg ready to explode. He is often angry and will tell people what he thinks of them. Herb however will always be loyal to his comrades, willing to defend them to the very end. He's also somewhat egotistical and believes himself to be a charming gentlemen whom ladies will always attempt to get a date with any and everyone he comes into contact with. *

  To understand Herbert, we must first look at his family. Herbert was born into the Wilkshires, a formidible clan whose claim to fame is being Vales fifth richest family, and having their fingers in almost every business in Vale. To humans, they are important employers, and investors in the Schnee Dust Corporation and other such profitible enterprises. To the faunas however, they are loathed. The Wilkshires are infamous for the formation of the Liberty Union, an anti faunas militia funded by the Wilkshires, who provided them arms from Atlas. Though this was near twenty years ago since the Liberty Union has taken up arms, their legacy lives on through the businesses they burnt, and those who lost loved one and friends to their murderous rampage.
  
  
  Hebert was born the son of Cole Wilkshire and Azure, the former being the owner of one of the Wilkshires law firms, and the latter being an adviser to the king, who has often publicly advocated for the forced removal and extermination of Faunas.Herbert was born the first of his generation, and due to that was groomed to become the new family patriarch. From age five he was already being drilled on the fundamentals of economics, etiquette and ballroom dance. Much like his father before him, Herbert took to this like a duck to water. For the next three years he happily accepted the "truths" given to him by his parents. He accepted the fact that the faunas must be looked down upon, and how they are not a help, but rather a plague to humanities survival, a hindrance to be exterminated.
  
  
  This all soon changed at age eight for Herbert, when his uncle Viridi was forcefully retired from the Hunter corps due to horrific injuries sustained while fighting Grimm. Uncle Viridi was in fact the Wilkshires black sheep, much like Herbert he had been groomed to become the new heir to their fortune, however he rejected them. He rejected their beliefs and fled home, becoming a hunter instead. When Viridi returned, it was grudgingly as he had no where else to go, The family took him in out of will to still appear to be as charitable as possible. Despite intital trepedation the two would soon bond over the stories told by Viridi about his time as one of humanities elite soldiers. As time wore on, Herberts horizons slowly opened, and he began to fully gain realisation over how close minded his parents were.
  
  
  Herbert began to slowly rage against the machine and began to fight back in slight ways. In the beginning it was climbing up trees and doing other "unbecoming" activities. As he grew older the acts of rebellion become more and more bombastic, he began to sneak out at night, and at age twelve he tried to finally run away from home. His parents were livid and confined their son to their palatial mansion. For eighteen months Herberts hatred of his parents festered, until his uncle arrived. Previously barred from visiting his nephew. Viridi visited him one last time in secret, giving Herbert the family armor and Envy. Later that night, while his uncle played drunk to distract the serving staff and the family, Herb ran away.
  
  
  Herbert escaped to Cross College, an educational institution which trained those who wished to become Hunters to be good enough to enter Beacon academy. Herb had never swung a sword in his life, and in his own words he described himself as: "Fucking terrible." Herbs mediocrity crushed his spirit, and he was almost ready to go home when his parents wrote an intensely patronising letter to their son, declaring they had in fact disowned him and he would only be allowed to return should he submit to their will. Driven into a craze, Herb became dedicated to practice, using his hatred of his parents as fuel to succeed. And succeed he did, Herb dramatically rose in his cohorts ranking from 145th to 17th in all. When the time came to submit to Beacon academy, Herb was accepted and now hopes to begin a new life away from the decadence of his parents.

  Semblance: Herberts semblence is what he calls "Green Fury". Herb may either shoot green lasers out of his hand, or let Envy absorb it, doubling and on occasion tripling the damage output of the weapon
  
  
  Costume: Herberts armor and weapon come from Bartholomew Wilkshire, the first famous Wilkshire, who crafted the armor himself roughly a hundred years ago, as a blacksmiths apprentice. The armor was a well reinforced piece and has stood up over time, used by three generations of the family in battle against Grimm. However for most of its usage, it has been simply ceremonial, with a crest emblazoned on it by Roger Wilkshire, the third generational holder of it had that done in order to make the armor, in his words "More palatable.".
  
  
  Weapon(s): Herb's weapon is called "Envy", which is a ridiculously shitty pun since the sword/gun glows a radioactive shade of green.Envy has been in the WIlkshire family for seven generation, four of which when it was treated as a mere curiosity. The weapon itself is a broadsword and transforms into a high powered rifle with an eight shot magazine.The gun however often overheats, rendering it an efficient opening broadside before charging in with the blade.

  General Personality: On the outside Alani can come off as a little rough, but in reality she can be rather kind and friendly to those she calls friends. Her passion for cooking can easily earn one a hefty meal if they manage to earn her respect and friendship along with a venerable ally in combat. Unfortunately she carries with her a nasty temper as well that more often than not ignites to burn any unfortunately soul to earn her ire. Alani also tends to hold disdain towards those from the upper class often labeling them as snotty uppity oafs largely due to her own experiences with said individuals both in the past and present.

  Born in Atlas to a Faunus Father and Mother, Alani grew up to a challenging environment. Her father was a quarry worker working for the Schnee Dust Corporation and her mother a simple baker who owned a quaint little shop a few blocks from their home. She didn't have the perfect life, but Alani's parents tried to make her childhood as enjoyable as possible, trying to shield her from the segregation and hostility towards her kind. Even with her parents' efforts Alani was bullied and harassed by other human children who mocked her ears and called her names. Often times she would find solace in the company of her parents. While she wasn't fit to follow her dad to work Alani often enjoyed helping her mother bake and prepare the day's goods in their little shop, finding the craft of baking and cooking an early passion of hers.
  
  
  Unfortunately even with the support of her parents Alani occasionally lashed out at the human children who made fun of her. One afternoon when she was eight Alani finally lost her temper and attacked a young girl of similar age that had been particularly cruel in her names and slander. Needless to say the human girl's parents, a part of the upper class, didn't quite find the situation to their liking threatened to press charges against Alani unless her parents pay forth a sizable amount of money. Her parents knew worse would come if they resisted and so paid the money, having to sell her mothers' shop to do so. This was the first of many strikes that began to harden Alani's personality and grow her disdain towards the upper class. Without a proper shop and tools to bake and sell her goods Alani's mother was forced to work with her father in the dust quarry.
  
  
  As soon as she turned ten Alani too went to work in the dust quarry, the promise of payment and her desire to help her family drawing her in as she signed her name to a working contract just as her parents did. The work was grueling and the young girl quickly discovered why her father and mother came home with tired eyes and sagging shoulders. It seemed no matter how much dust she and the others managed to excavate it was never enough and a heavier workload would be placed upon she and the rest of the workforce the next day. The conditions would be considered inhuman with minimal safety, hazardous conditions, and the dangers of rock slides a regular threat. The pay was meager, just barely enough when combined with her mother's and father's earnings to feed them and clothe them between pay periods.
  
  
  Eventually the unsafe conditions would catch up with Alani and her father being the victims. When the girl was twelve she lost her left eye to a dust explosion, a load having not been properly locked down toppled over near where she and her father were working before detonating and sending debris in every direction. She suffered a shard of metal to the left eye, but Alani's father would never see the next morning as he'd taken the brunt of the blast protecting his daughter. Alani still remembers the pain, not from her eye, but kneeling over her father's bleeding and dying body as he held her hands in his and and tried to reassure her before passing away right in front of her. The Schnee corporation hardly offered an olive branch, sending her and her mother a pittance of a full week of paid leave and 'apologizing' for the unfortunate event; it didn't change the fact that she had lost her father, a loving and kind man, forever. By the end of the week she and her mother both agreed they were leaving this horrible place and thus, packing up what few belongings they had, the two departed for the Kingdom of Vale.
  
  
  Upon arriving at the capitol Alani and her mother felt a somber but faint gleam of hope at the promise of a new start. Using the money she and her parents had been saving up, Alani's mother managed to rent out a small apartment for the two of them while she found work as a baker's assistant, earning an actually decent wage that could support her and her daughter. Alani quickly found herself drawn to the Signal Academy, she remembered the stories her father would tell of the great hunters and huntresses who fought off the evil Grimm to protect the citizens of Remnant. Not trapped in the slave-like labor of working at a dust quarry any longer Alani reached out to her mother to ask if she could possibly attend Signal Academy, and to her joy her mother said yes.
  
  
  Alani graciously cherished the opportunity her mother gave her, eagerly and determinedly applying herself to every school of study she could. There were those who hassled and mocked her, but Alani's drive to succeed allowed her to brush the petty insults aside. She was far from the perfect student, but upon graduation Alani had managed to come out in the top ten of her school's graduates. Still empowered from her success Alani quickly went to apply to Beacon Academy, tackling the rather difficult and challenging entrance exam and passing, earning her admittance into the academy. Alani hopes to honor the memory of her father who worked so hard for his family and also honor her mother's efforts to provide a better life for them both by becoming a master huntress.
  
  
  
• 
  
  
  Semblance: Alani's semblance manifests in the form of a sort of 'battle trance'. When using her semblance Alani siphons energy from her opponent with each attack or strike which enhances her endurance, and numbs her to pain effectively turning her into a 'berserker' of sorts. Her semblance can be quite effective allowing Alani to shrug off attacks and seemingly never tire while pummeling into her opponent with a merciless and focused onslaught. However Alani's semblance can be quite dangerous to herself as well as she often will simply not know of damage to her body, or will simply ignore it, till her opponent is incapacitated or she simply passes out from blood loss. Essentially her semblance is a double edged sword as she grows more reckless due to her numbness to pain and can pose a considerable health hazard to herself.
  
  
  Weapon(s): A pair of armored bladed gauntlets she's named Lupa and Fenris. The four knuckle mounted blades can collapse and retract into the gauntlet where the four combine to one and can be used as devastating short to mid ranged flamethrowers using dust ammunition. Dust can also be used while the blades are extended, coating them in blazing flames to amplify their already deadly force. When not in battle the gauntlet can collapse further with the armor plating around her hand and fingers moving along her forearms to allow more dexterous movement when slashing or punching isn't needed.

  -While she is a faunus herself Alani tends to disapprove of the white fang largely due to their aggressive and hostile methods they have begun employing. While she may hate the schnee corporation and other oppressive bodies violence will only beget more violence instead of a mutual resolution. Rather ironic considering her ill temper, and yes she is quite aware of this fact.
  
  
  -Alani's clothing tends to fall within the realm of tomboyish. Beneath her jacket she often wears a simple tank top or t-shirt. For pants normally slightly baggy cargo pants or jeans fit her liking while a pair of sturdy boots and her favorite hat finish off her attire.
  
  
  -A trinket Alani normally doesn't display is a small ovular locket with a picture of her and her father smiling on a sunny day.

  Slate spent the early years of his life working under a blacksmith which is where he developed his considerable strength and crafted his armor and shield. Slate enrolled at signal academy but stubbornly refused to harm others in spars choosing instead to wear them down with his endurance.   General Personality: Sapphire is known to be a cold blooded killer when angered. She doesn't like people, and believes that she deserves respect from her peers. It's not known if Sapphire actually has a heart underneath her cold exterior, as she always has her guard up and her heart shielded from others. If she ever makes any 'friends,' she's mostly always faking it to get what she wants. Rumor has it, the only person she ever loved and talked to was her father. In battle, Sapphire is a 'less thinking, more doing' kind of person, and usually leaps head first into a fight.

  As a child, her father was one of the original members of the White Fang and they planned on it's reform for a long time. Her father was the best there could be, however and treated her well. He even told her their plans for reform, giving her reasons as to why it should happen. And as she grew older, Sapphire watched the peaceful rallies, waiting for the day all chaos would break loose like she wanted it to. The old White Fang disgusted her, all the hopeful optimists in the crowd, thinking little posters could fix the world. Sapphire just turned 16 the day everything changed for the seemingly better. The day the White Fang became more violent than usual, and new recruits trickled in slowly and surely, things were looking up for the Faunus. Sapphire was one of the highest ranking members, and would remain that way for as long as she was in the White Fang. The White Fang may have reformed, but they never had a true plan in place yet. Most nights, Sapphire's father would stay up, working to put plans in place, yet he and the other's never could come to a solid one. It made her father angry, and every time she tried to comfort him, he would push her away. They grew apart, rarely talking to each other unless he was ordering Sapphire to do something. One day, however, he came up to his daughter and gave her specific orders: She would go to Beacon academy and try to gain new recruits as well as keep a watchful eye on the students to make sure they wouldn't get in the White Fang's way.

  Semblance: Shadow Stalker: Sapphire has the ability to blend in with the shadows for about five minutes at a time. This allows her to reposition herself away from the enemy and then launch herself at whomever it may be. This semblance will not work if the enemy has some way of detecting thermal energy.
  
  
  Weapon(s): Hyacintho Lamina (Or Lamina for short). Her weapon can shift from a double edged sword, to a double bladed staff, to dual swords, and finally into two guns. She mainly uses it in her staff form and her gun form. Weapons should be attached.

Until one night, their home was attacked by the largest Grimm group ever seen.   Helios grew up the son of a great Hunter by the name of Daren. Daren taught Helios that from an early age there were three people in the world. Sheep who simply let the world pass by them and make zero impact on it as a whole. Wolves, who prey on the sheep. And lastly Sheepdogs who defend the sheep and themselves by killing wolves. Daren quickly made sure that his son would follow in his footsteps, enlisting him into Sanctum and teaching him his ways of becoming a hunter. This relationship grew for years until Helios hit the age of 16, Daren left to go on a mission outside the kingdom to secure valuable materials outside of the kingdom. It's been nearly a year since and no search party has found any of the people involved in the mission. The only thing they've found so far is Daren's sword. Currently, the search missions have stopped, and Daren is considered dead by most officials. While the loss of his father was a great source of stress, Helios made sure to work harder in hopes of making his father proud. It was with ease that he managed to be accepted into beacon academy thanks to his grades and family background, but their's still some mystery if he's as good as his father.

  Semblance: Weak Points Helios's Semblance marks parts of enemies vulnerable. These parts are revealed as bright orange marks along their body that anyone can see. An attack against a weak point is like striking paper and can cause tremendous damage regardless of the enemies armor.
  
  
  Weapon(s): The Compensator - A weapon Ironically named by his mother. The sword by default is an average katana slightly shorter than normal. However with a few clicks along the hilt it can increase to ridiculous sizes. It can grow up to 20 feet allowing the user to attack from very long ranges.
