The year was 2130 and the world was thriving, but greed, envy and war still plagued the earth. Infecting great nations and breaking up many more. Russia was a country that could also not escape this epidemic, but instead of going to war with opposing nations like many other countries did Russia went to war with it self, the great nation broke into four factions and was at full civil war. The factions were, The Rusviet Union, The Tungestans, The Bolsheviks and The Rupkovs. Their ideology, Leaders, tech and tactics can all be found in another thread linked below.
As each faction went toe-to-toe alliances were formed, rivals met eye to eye and blood was soaked into the ground. But each faction had one thing in common, their first for technological advancements, they all had a full arsenal of Mechs that would go on to strike fear into opposing forces, destroy farms, cities and each other in 'Metal Clad Combat'. Years into the civil war outside nations noticed that the country was basically a puppet without a master, and they knew if they started to fund and support one faction and it was to win the civil war, they would have lots of power over Russia.
Ten years into the war and it was still going strong, each faction seemed to fight relentlessly, sponsors would spill endless amounts of money, intel and weapons for their faction. More technological advances were made by by the day and it wasn't going to slow down, new Mechs were made. Leaderships were overthrown.
Five more years in and the war looked like half of it was done, the present time. 2145.
