Physical Description: Nunciata is an athletic woman with some modicum of height. Wiry and lithe, she is known for the sharp cheekbones, strong jawline, and pert nose that mark the angles of her face. Her lips, plush and pale, are often set in a firm line or quirked up in some semblance of a smile; her eyes, framed by thick lashes and marked with determination, are a pale golden-bronze reminiscent of the rust stains that bloom across metal. When she walks, it is with measured strides and a gait that puts the reach of her legs to use, a movement that is as relaxed as it is stiff and just as purposeful as the rest of her actions. Her hair is a pale blonde with traces of red throughout its length. It is cut short in the front, the blunt bangs that fall across her forehead and the longer strands that frame her cheeks too short to join the rest of her locks in the simple ponytail she wears at the base of her skull. More often than not this is her default style, for the fancy up-dos and free-flowing tresses worn by some females are too cumbersome for her to bother with.

Not one to rid herself of anything before its time, the majority of Nunciata's clothes are well worn and threadbare. This fact is proven by her personal form of recycling: the transformation of old shirts into chest bindings at the end of their life. Featuring tans, whites, reds, and blacks, her wardrobe is lacking in the realm of feminine whims. Breaches and tunics are all you will find her in, the occasional vest or cloak working their way into her arsenal of clothing when the seasons take a turn for the cold. Nevertheless, while Nunciata considers herself money-conscious, she’s not above splurging on clothing every now and then. Her pants, for one, are fitted with swaths of leather along the insides, the fingerless gloves that cover her hands and wrists sporting a piece over her palms. Even her boots, the most expensive part of her regular wardrobe, are a thick patchwork of leather that end high upon her legs.

When hunting relics, she is known for the metallic vestment - akin to plate armor in design but no where near as cumbersome or covering - she wears atop her clothing. The armor, crafted from a metal alloy of low-weight and density fitted with leather along the insides, features pronounced shoulder guards, left chest cover, gauntlets, a waist guard, and shin covers. Not as sturdy as full-bodied carapaces, it was crafted for a deflective, rather than a straightforward defensive, purpose. On occasion, she'll wear a matching helmet atop her head.

Nunciata is a proactive woman with a sharp tongue and an even sharper wit. Her demeanor, an accumulation of marrow-deep determination and stubborn tenacity, walks the line between caustic and removed; however, what lies beneath is an open mind and heart set on finding the good of the world. Easily flustered and untalented in the realm of joke-making, she often relies on sarcasm to get her out of uncomfortable social situations and distract others from her discomfort. Unfortunately, her mouth runs on a faulty filter. Being too honest with her thoughts has been a long-standing problem for the woman; her inability to sit still for prolonged periods of time another. Give her a choice between a life of comfort and one of constant trials and tribulations, and there's no doubt she'll choose the latter.

Past
Nunciata was born in a rural sector of Chevril as the youngest of two. Her older brother, Alric, had suffered from a weak constitution since infancy, and most of the family's resources were spent catering to his health and comfort when she was young. Fresh air, it was believed, was the best medicine for his condition; thus, the small family committed themselves to the outdoors and a simplistic way of life. Despite the resulting tensions, the blonde was nothing less than an impressionable child. History and tales of old became her brand of obsession, pulling her in like a moth to a flame, and fostering the passion and curiosity that would drive her later in life. Given her father's career as a ruin hunter and her mother's propensity for storytelling, such an outcome was far from unexpected - and unwelcome. Even Alric, whose health came and went in spades, shared in her interests.

Unfortunately, one harsh winter in Nunciata's twelfth year was all it took to steal her brother's life. Her father, who had always placed his pride in his children and fostered Alric's desire to follow in his footsteps, took the blow the hardest. He grew reckless in his grief, needlessly placing himself in danger and fostering the ire of his wife. After one harrowing incident that left the man bedridden for days, Nunciata came to a decision: sitting aside and wallowing in self-pity was no longer something she could afford to do. Alric may have been the one who spouted desires of becoming a ruin hunter when he was of age, but that didn't prevent her from striving to do the same. If anything, the notion of allowing her brother's dream to live through her spurred the girl on all the more.

At thirteen, the blonde began training under one of her father's partners and friends, Berand. The man was gruff and domineering, an apparent tyrant whose demands never seemed to end; yet, he was the type of mentor Nunciata needed to whip herself into shape. For six years she toiled under his guidance, picking up the use of a polearm, and learning the ropes of the ruin hunter lifestyle and ways. A few paramours came and went, but the blonde's focus remained steadfast. On occasion she'd join her mentor and father on expeditions; however, the majority of her tutelage's later years were spent trying to make discoveries of her own. By nineteen she was ready to make her way in the world, and a few heartfelt goodbyes later, that's exactly what she did.

Ability Orbs
Shielding - Welded into a metal band Nunciata wears around her left wrist, this sanguine orb is capable of projecting shields of raw, malleable energy that form, grow, and shrink at its master's will. It is pentagonal in shape with rounded corners, sizing in at dimensions approximate to that of a coin. Though not infallible, barriers produced by the orb are capable of withstanding both physical and magical attacks; nevertheless, it is the latter they are more susceptible to. In order to uphold the shields - of which she can only produce one at a time - Nunciata must maintain mental focus and concentration. Should she become distracted, they will either break or weaken; if unconscious, they will fall. The orb's shields are transparent until brute force is applied to their surface. In such circumstances, rivulets of red energy are known to race across their length. Similarly, the ability orb has been known to spark with energy when strain upon its barriers becomes too much. When produced, all shields must be within five feet of the orb.

Sound Perception - Roughly the size and color of a pearl, this oviform orb has been converted into a stud-shaped earring that Nunciata wears on her right ear. It is rarely used for combat due to the limited and distracting nature of its ability; nevertheless, the blonde has managed to put it to good-enough use. Effecting only her right ear, as that is the one she has it positioned by, the orb manipulates and enhances Nunciata's hearing capacity by allowing her to pick up sounds at greater distances - a mile at maximum range, though focus directly affects this reach - with greater clarity than normal. She often has to cover her left ear when using it, however, as the differences in sound perception can leave her nauseous and dizzy. In loud and busy environments, the sound influx can be too stimulating; thus, Nunciata strives to be careful when using it.

Main Weapon: Spontoon

Similar to a glaive, this polearm features a double-edged metal blade and two smaller shivs set atop a shaft of sturdy wood. It measures in at approximately seven feet in length with the shaft accounting for a total of six feet. Affixed to its rear is a stopper of pointed, sharpened metal. Though large, Nunciata manages to transport the weapon by either holding it in the crook of her arm or strapping it diagonally across her back. A thin, faded, and frayed violet ribbon is tied beneath its head.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
When he isn’t slouching, Boone stands at 5’10”. He has a decently toned build, with a bit more definition in his arms, enhanced by his choice in weaponry. Boone has medium length, shaggy, light brown hair that he combs infrequently. His skin is quite light, so it’s not uncommon to see him with a slight sunburn and freckling across the bridge of his nose.

It equally common to see various scrapes and bruises on his person. A few more past injuries are a bit more permanent; he has a small horizontal scar over his right cheekbone, numerous tiny scars over the tops of his hands and fingers, and a nose that looks like it’s been broken on more than one occasion. There are also three diagonal scars on his left hip from being clawed by a monster, an odd looking jagged scar on his right shin, and what appears to be an old stab wound in his abdomen.

As for clothing, Boone typically wears a simple tunic, belt, trousers, and leather boots in brownish or faded green colours. He prefers things that are functional and allow him to hide in most environments. For armor, Boone favours anything that allows ease of movement. He prefers light, leather armor and always wears bracers to protect his arms from the string of his bow.

QUICK PERSONALITY OVERVIEW

If Boone had to be summed up in a single word it would be reckless. Sitting still is an impossibility for him, and he is always moving about, fidgeting with something, or finding a way to get himself into trouble. And trouble he has found frequently. In fact, one could say that Boone is naturally drawn to it, like the moth to a flame that will easily kill it. Despite this, Boone is still a kind person, and genuinely cares about other people, even if he can get a bit uncouth at times. The one major negative flaw he has is that he spends the money he makes about as fast as he can earn it due to a debt about a mile long. Not only does Boone like to gamble, he also has a rather unfortunate habit of accidentally breaking things that belong to other people.
PAST
A ruin hunter wasn’t supposed to be in Boone’s future. He was supposed to grow up as a nice, mild-mannered boy from a minor noble house in Juniper. He was supposed to take classes on proper etiquette, on history, on economics, on politics. He was supposed to go to one of the best universities in Juniper. He was supposed to become a scholar. He was supposed to raise his family’s minor noble house to one of greater prominence. He was supposed to accept the economically and socially beneficial marriage his parents had arranged for him.

Instead, Boone was reckless, skipped his classes, was kicked out of his university for accidentally setting fire to a lab with an explosive arrow he was devising, shamed his family, and fled the city to get out of his rapidly approaching marriage. He left only a note for his parents, who were already extremely displeased with him, and hasn’t been back home since for fear of the retribution that would be rained down on him.

Boone received most of his training as he travelled from the odd warrior to retired hunters who were willing to put up with him for a bit of coin or for amusement. Due to this, Boone picked up a rather eclectic style of fighting that is less so a style and more so a patchwork of various techniques he’s picked up. This has led him to sustain several injuries, though some of those are a result of a cracked ability orb he found buried deep in a ruin.

After training with a variety of weapons and with a wide range of masters, Boone specialized with long range combat, such as his bow with a few specialized arrows of his own make and three razor sharp throwing knives. He finds that moving frequently and keeping his distance is the best way he can fight, though he is also very adaptable to changing situations. Adaptability, along with plain dumb luck, is probably the only reason he’s lived as long as he has.

At the moment, Boone is taking riskier dives into ruins in order to pay off a particularly large debt he has. There miiiight be a bounty on him.
SKILLS
ABILITY ORBS

Teleportation: This pitch black orb is a bit of an oddity in that it has a hairline crack running through it. It allows its user to teleport in a direction of their choice (usually) with a maximum range of fifty feet (sometimes). Sometimes, it goes off on its own, though this is rare. Boone uses this orb infrequently, as it has led to a number of injuries. Quite frankly, it's a miracle it hasn't killed him yet. The orb is roughly egg sized and has been made into a simple amulet. Boone is hesitant to keep it on his person due to its unpredictable nature, and it can most frequently be found hidden away in his bags. He only wears the amulet if he feels the risk is worth it. Which, due to his impulsive nature, is not as infrequent as one might think.

Weapon Cloning: This orb is a new one for Boone, and it allows him to create facsimiles of simple weapons. The new weapon materializes out of thin air and is independently controllable for a short period of time before it vanishes. Boone isn't quite sure of its full functionality yet and primarily uses it to duplicate his projectiles. The orb is very tiny, about the size of a pebble, citrine coloured, and is embedded into a silver ring that he wears at all times.

MAIN WEAPONS

Recurve bow. He also carries a quiver full of arrows, most of which work normally, but there are a few gadgety ones he has created (explosive arrows, smoke bomb arrows, etc) that work with varying degrees of success.

Name: Mildred Desrocher

Age: 25

Physical Description:
Mildred stands at a height of 5 feet 2 inches. She isn't really muscular, just athletic enough to carry a light mini cannon and run a fair distance. However, having carried it around for so long, muscles are starting to show in her legs and her arms. But that's about the limit of her physical capabilities. Very much reflective of the upbringing she had, her skin is soft and fair, having no blemishes. Only since adopting her cannon has there ever been callouses on the palms of her hand and soles of her feet, but even those are starting to fade away after the purchase of some comfortable gloves and padding.

Her clothes are a bit more flourished and have almost no practical use in combat. While it does hold a variety of belts and pouches, the reality is that it's just casual wear outfitted for an adventure. The only defensive item on Mildred is the armored left arm and shoulder, but that just keeps the straps on the cannon from digging into her. She keeps her sleeves rolled back and her skirt above her thigh so she can maneuver around both the field and her cannon. Goggles are strapped to the top of her head, but only has its uses in certain situations.

Quick Personality Overview:
Mildred is a happy-go-lucky type of person, who's always excited for almost anything. From all the books she's read in her spare time, she's both smart and naive, having gained both man's knowledge of the world, and an idealistic view of it. However, she's always caring and ready to lend a hand, albeit using her cannon without thinking it through. While she did live what one would consider a sheltered life, Mildred can handle her own in the world. Her general nature to be happy has led to her being lucky in some situations, but thus is her personality.

Past:
Mildred Desrocher was born to an upper middle class family in one of Juniper's cities. Her parents continually thought of themselves as part of the upper nobility, and this led to a frivolous lifestyle. Mildred grew up basically being pampered, surrounded by food, books, and games. What took her interest the most was books, even from an early age. Being stuck in the city and hearing about the greatness of these ruin hunters sparked an interest in her. The books kept in the household were meant to made the Desrocher family look like a well educated family. Because of this, the books mostly covered science and theories, the latest in schools of science in Juniper. Somehow, all this translated into a nice understanding of physics and a sense of intuition for the young Desrocher. By the age of 16, she was showing great knowledge in her studies and was placed in university classes, much to the delight of her parents. After learning more and more, especially in the field of Ruins and theory of projectile weaponry, she effectively became a theory based engineer.

At the age of 19, Mildred was given a blue sphere the size of a marble. Once again in an attempt to make the Desrochers seem high class, her father somehow managed to get his hands on a supposed ability sphere. Mildred decided to put it in a miniature cannon just for the fun of it, having figured out what it can do. Having drafted the architecture of the cannon, she contacted a blacksmith and received an elegantly designed miniature cannon. The cannon was made with light enough and strong enough material for her to carry it, with the force destroy almost anything. Cannon in arms, she decided to depart the city and go on an adventure, eventually leading her to her second ability orb.

Ability Orbs:
Projectile Force - Causes an explosion of pure force and energy that propels a summoned projectile forward. It is stored in an accessible chamber in the firing chamber of the cannon. This essentially reduced what would've been an extremely expensive cannon into a mobile and simple weapon. It is blue and the size of a marble

Force of Wind - Embedded in her cannon, this orb employs the power of wind to aid her movement and the cannon's projectile speed. It makes it easier to carry the cannon, faster to move around, faster cool down, and allows her to not suffer from the recoil of firing. It can be used outside of the cannon's context, but she would not be able to make full use of it like a more properly trained monster hunter would be. It is blueish green and the size of a pearl.

Main Weapon: Miniature Cannon
A cannon smaller than those you would find the army carrying, it is constructed from light and strong materials and ornately decorated. It holds two orbs, which can fire out an innumerable amount of projectiles in a short period of time. Because of the Orbs, it is about as powerful, if not more, as a siege cannon. Because it is designed by her, Mildred knows how to repair and maintain it, which she does often.

Age: 67

Physical Description: Kuragin is tall scrawny figure standing at 6 feet and 2 inches. Despite his age Kuragin is quite lithe compared to his counterparts however he is starting to show signs of feebleness but he can still match and sometimes even out perform his younger companions in terms of grace and agility. His hair is well kept and somehow retains it's youthful splendor though this is may be because he occasionally dye it from time to time. Kuragin's face, unlike his hair, is showing signs of aging that and coupled with a few scars on right cheek makes Kuragin less desirable however rather than hiding his scars he proudly parades it to every event he enters to remind his peers that he, unlike them, was a self made man.

A curious thing about Kuragin is his sense of style. Usually a self made man such as himself would enjoy every luxury presented to him and would thus dress one's self in lavish dresses and uniforms. Kuragin however is a frugal man choosing to fill his wardrobe with simple coats, plain dress shirts and pants, and a few hats to compliment his outfit. This deviation from the norm is looked down upon however merchants have begun adopting Kuragin's style as it does what most formal wear can't, comfortably fit the wearer. However The elderly man does not derive his uncanny ability to move around freely in his clothes but rather the artificial limbs he hides beneath them.

Quick Personality Overview:
Kuragin is, for all intents and purposes, a pessimistic prick though his venomous demeanor is hidden behind a veneer of courtesy and politeness as he still has need for 'friends'. His age has left him world weary and lethargic but in exchange he gained experience which often allows him to think a step ahead of the common herd, and most often, the younger generation of chasseurs who sadly he sees him as naught more than a washed up old man. Fortunately for Mikhail he thrives when he is underestimated in fact he encourages it as he often acts senile and feeble around his enemies before revealing the cunning and ruthless man that he is or what he makes out to be. However the most curious thing about Mikhail Kuragin is that he seems to spurn the use of Ability orbs as he theorizes that the use of ability orbs caused the collapse of the previous civilization though oddly enough Mikhail still sells certain ability orbs despite his outlook on them as he does not deny the profit from selling them occasionally as he sees them more than a means to an end to his goals.

On some nights, when he is without worry and he thinks himself to be alone. He would, if possible, drink whilst reminiscing about happier days and weeping for friends long gone. He is just a man after all, a man that has seen all the evils of man yet still clings on to hope on the goodness of man, A man who dotes upon a young girl from afar and quietly leading her to a life full of happiness and contentedness away from a life like his, A broken old man with a fragile and scarred heart.

Past: Mikhail was the second son of a poor farmer from chervil, he was neither the favorite nor was he hated but rather a neglected child as his younger brother had taken the attention of his mother and his father prioritized the education of his eldest. Unlike most middle children who sought their parent's attention by excellence or infamy Mikhail instead chose to embrace the freedom of being unsupervised and wandered the forest surrounding his father's land till he met an exiled scholar living out his days as a hermit. Mikhail at first feared the man and stayed away however after a few incidences where he was forced to turn the scholar for help the two became friends of sorts and after the scholar learned of kuragin's circumstance the mentor took him under his wing and began teaching him how to read, write, the sciences, democracy, all that he could teach him though this took a strain on the boy as back home his father had begun teaching him how to become a farmer but mikhail soldiered on taking classes from the scholar by night and being worked till exhaustion by his father during the day. He led this double life until the scholar, emboldened by Mikhail, decided to return to his homeland where but not without leaving Mikhail most of his books and the cabin which he lived in. This proved to be a boon for Mikhail as at the ripe age of 20 he ran away from his home with the meager amount of money, which he made by working and selling his mentor's books save for the ones pertaining to the sciences, to one of the great cities and entered the same university his older brother but unlike his brother, who had difficulty entering due to his academic laziness, Mikhail found University life to be easy and was able to finish his courses in two years rather than four. Once outside the university Mikhail faced a conundrum, where was he to find employment? He wasn't his brother who was supported by his family, he was a runaway without a penny to his name nor anyone to vouch for him. That was until he came across his mentor once again but rather than among scholars he found him among merchants and bankers. This surprised mikhail, but what surprised him more was his mentored approached him and offered him his fortune for he was without a heir. However rather than accept the wealth Mikhail offered to become business partners, which surprised his mentor but he happily accepted. With the help of his mentor Mikhail expanded the business to new heights even creating the first steam-powered factory of Chervil however happy times were not to last.

a decade into their partnership war broke out between Chervil and Juniper and despite his wealth Mikhail was pressed into service leaving his sickly mentor alone. Oddly enough despite his excellent academic record Mikhail was not made an officer and served in the war as a common soldier till his heroism and leadership in the battlefield allowed Chervil to gain a significant victory over the Junipers. However he did not come out of this war unscathed as he had lost his eye during the war and his right leg. He had also lost many of the friends his made during the war including his brothers whom he served with and witnessed atrocities on both sides with. His idealism and naivete grinded to dust as he watched innocents die at the hands of those with ability orbs. Mikhail is no stranger to struggle but he managed to come back stronger despite his injuries and thus he continued to devote himself in business going so far as to found the science of bionics allowing him to replace his eyes and leg within a decade then replacing them all together as he found metal limbs to be more effective than flesh. At the age of 44 his mentor died, though he went peacefully Mikhail did not take kindly to his passing for he was more a father than his real father though he Mikhail was not the only one struck with tragedy. Whilst he was away his mentor had found love, that died during child birth, and left a young girl named Ludmilla Devous. Mikhail, seeing much of himself in the girl, took her under his wing caring for the girl as if she were his own daughter for 22 years yet remaining distant for he wishes not the girl to love him as she did his father so that she will never weep in his account. At age 66 Mikhail remain unmarried, his surrogate daughter gone of to university, Mikhail was alone once again, the fire that once burned brightly in his youth was naught but a dull flickering flame now nearly snuffed out by the war. Perhaps it was his his old flame, or perhaps it was to get away from the stuffy ballrooms of high society, whatever it is caused the old man to take up wandering once again.

The first and largest of 'rifles' His weapon is rather simple. It shoots large bullets and depending on which bullet is loaded it could either harm the enemy or heal allies. Sadly Mikhail only seems to use the former and never the latter.

Name: Via "Vixen" Alistair

Age: 25 years old

Physical Description: Slim, agile, overall flexible. If you could imagine an average feline in the shape of human, Via would be a good fit for such an odd analogy. Via has the build of the image of the average image have of "sexy" women with the hourglass frame and long legs with a heart-shaped face. She has striking red ends to her black hair and striking blue eyes. Via stands at a height of 5'11" and with her heels it can bring her to a height of 6'1" which allows her to show dominance over others.

As for clothing she wears rather revealing clothing. Or really clothing that allows her to take advantage of certain situations. She has no personal preference in how she dresses just as long as it allows her an upperhand. If she needs to go undercover then she'll where the appropriate disguise for the scenario whether it be to become a schoolteacher, maid, drug dealer, etc. Via may even choose to dress like a man at times.

Quick Personality Overview:
Neither a pessimist or optimist, Via's a realist. She sees things for how they are not what it could or should be. Dreams and aspirations are nonexistent in Via's conscious, only checkpoints and tasks. Even though she is overall serious in her manner of life Via usually puts on a smirk and teasing facade.

The Vixen is as she is described; sly, cunning, observant, etc. She is persistent and likes to see things to the end. Via may notice how others feel or think but she automatically chooses to ignore it or shies away from relationships. Due to her pushing away Via does not contain a lot of trust for people.

Past:
Ah the wondrous place of Juniper, the city where Via was born and raised. Many may see it for its beauty but Via lived in its darkness. The Vixen was born into a family of thieves. Her parents were petty thieves though, stealing only from targets they saw easy. Of course they didn't want this for their five children, four boys and one girl. They wanted them to be better thieves, and so began the rigorous training of their five children. Or after that point known as their apprentices rather than their children.

Slapping, punching, pinching, and more, Via and her brother embraced just about every physical punishment they could receive from their masters. With Via being the youngest and most frail of the bunch, her brothers worked together to help her become stronger and protect her from much of the abuse they received.

As Via grew up she wanted to stray away from the path of becoming a thief, and become something more. But this proved difficult since she had little to no education with any of the core curriculum and that she was poor. Her family was poor from the beginning and never saw to it to receive wealth from actual hard work but rather from stealing. This being another reason why their parents trained them to be better thieves since they hardly earned any money from the objects they stole. So in the end Via grew up knowing how to steal and deceive people. These sinful skills opened up an opportunity for Via though.

When Via was seventeen and just about ready to take on the world a man with much wealth stumbled upon Via and saw great potential in her. This man opened the doorway for her to become a mercenary, spy, and thief of sorts. Whatever she was asked to do, she did it. Her first request happened to be one of venturing out to seek the treasures of a ruin, thus began Via's path of becoming a successful mercenary.

Ability Orbs:
Shadow Orb - an orb that allows the user to control shadows. Users can only control, not create. There must be a shadow present first before user can manipulate the shadow to how they want. This means that the user can send off shadows to follow and track people, disappear/reappear from the shadows, and manipulate or change the shape of the shadow to their will. When Via wishes to send off a shadow to follow someone the range is endless as long as the target stays on land. If they board a plane or boat then the connection is broken for Via to follow and she must once again send off another shadow to follow. This orb is located in the center of her belt.

Regenerative Orb - an orb that possesses the ability to regenerate anything. In the case of Via, it regenerates her body. The orb was surgical inserted in her chest in order for its properties to work on her body. This orb being a newly found orb works slowly at its regenerative ability at the moment and requires much energy from Via to function as well.

Physical description:
Blaire is a skinny, feminine looking male. With his near androgynous look its hard to determine rather he's a boy. Normally he likes to expose most of his body, like his upper half. Somedays he doesn't wear a shirt, and just wear a skirt with stockings.

When going out he always want to look cute, and girly to please men around him. He doesn't wear any protection, as he is capable of fending off people without batman like gear to keep the skin still looking untouched.

Physical Description: Edward Coriander has the resting expression of a simpleton yet his ocean dark eyes can be as cutting as any sword. He's a broad-shouldered guy and tall. Edward's smile is quick on the draw.

His dedication to ruin hunting is as certain as death and taxes.
Edward is scarier than a ruin monster if you make him mad.
He will start a conversation with anyone, anywhere.
Edward doesn't know how not to explore and go on adventures. It's his only talent.
He airs his thoughts even when they aren't popular.
To Edward, adventure is more important than safety.

Quick Personality Overview:

Edward has an obsessive personality. From sugary coffee to cleaning to ruin hunting to collecting figurines, Edward latches on strongly to the things he likes. It's almost impossible for him to relinquish them. He's like a kid strongly against having someone take his toy.

He's a fairly good-natured person, a helpful person. This has led him to become the errand boy for the elderly people (and one pregnant lady) who live in his apartment in Juniper. His parents taught him manners and responsibility with much ear-pulling and forceful language.

But also he has a competitive streak with other ruin hunters. He would like to always be the best but enjoys having people to measure his skills against.

Edward isn't book smart. He didn't go to university and bearly knows how to read or write. Fortunately, ruin hunters can succeed without those talents for the most part.

Past:

Edward dyed his hair. Blond hair is the style in Juniper. It’s important to know Edward was born in Chervil. He sometimes has trouble remembering where he came from.

Edward traded in his family's farmland for an apartment in a big city. The academies, libraries, and cafes put his mind to ease. There’s nothing scholarly in Edward but he likes the idea of obtainable knowledge maybe because he was barely educated himself.

A tornado almost decimated the farm, his childhood home, when Edward was a kid. In Chervil, the weather can darken and change suddenly. It terrified him, something he couldn't fight or run away from. Edward felt the fragility of his own mortality for the first time. His desire to explore the world can be traced to him never wanting to feel powerless again. If he goes everywhere and finds everything, he can’t be caught unaware.

Edward is the oldest of three brothers. His childhood home was eccentric but close-knit, everyone knew they were loved. When his parents were recruited for an expedition, which happened a few times a year, Edward had to provide and care for his underage siblings until they returned. The trauma of it left him with a cleaning complex. Most of all, he hates food spills, dirty dishes, and laundry stains.

Edward has made a name for himself as a ruin hunter but he hasn't yet reached the heights of giants in the field.

Ability Orbs (2 max):

1. A pink force orb, the size of a softball, in his sword which triples his slashing and hacking power.

2. Edward has a pale gemstone in the bracelet on his wrist. It was a gift from his father, from one adventurer to another, a compass ability orb which points in the direction of ruins. Edward has to get close enough to the ruin of his choice first or else it could lead him back to somewhere he's already been.

Main Weapon:

1. A sword strapped to Edward's back. It's his close range weapon of choice.
