RIP Doctor Calgori (2012-2017)
RPdom is a magical, magical place. It's a place filled with magical, magical things. But sometimes it can be hard to understand what those magical things are and what those beautiful terms mean. Because of a lot of questions like, "What is free form?", "What's Exalted?" and such forth, we have constructed this extremely short list which aims to cover the entirety of the RPdom community's various terms and phrases. To navigate the list, use your browser's find function (Windows: Ctrl + F, Macintosh: Cmd + F).
The list is a constant work in progress and you can contribute! Any term that is in any way related to RPdom, role-playing and creativity in general is up for grabs, especially if it's mentioned in a thread somewhere. You can even add your own username to the list. If you feel that a term is described incorrectly, suggest an edit. To add a term or suggest an edit, post it as a response to this thread or send it directly to me or Doctor Calgori. Don't forget the mandatory brief description to your submitted term.

Administrator: Administrators are the leaders and managers of RPdom.com and its Community.
Advantage: A positive or useful statistic or trait.
Adventure: Either a published or otherwise written collection of plot, character, and location details used by a gamemaster to manage the plot or story in a role-playing game.
Adventure!: Adventure! is a pulp action role-playing game originally printed by White Wolf Game Studio, the third and last book in the Trinity Universe line of games.
Albums: Organized collection and showcase of uploaded user images.
Alert Preferences: Settings, preferences and configuration of the behavior of site alerts.
Alerts: Makes it easy for users to stay up to date with updates that are applicable to them. Members receive alerts when someone quotes their post or responds to a status update, when they receive a new trophy, and more.
Align: Text can be aligned to the left, right and center with BBCode and the Rich Text Editor (WYSIWYG).
Alternate History: A genre of fiction consisting of stories that are set in worlds in which history has diverged from the actual history of the world.

Archives: Where long inactive threads and roleplays are stored.

BBCode: Text formating that is used to change the appearance and content of posts on the forum. Usable in the Rich Text Editor, but primarily in the Code Editor.
Blue booking: One or a few of the players describing activities of their characters in written form.
Bold: Bold text is use to lay emphasis to text and in formatting/styling of a text.
Bookmarks:You can bookmark a thread by clicking the 'Bookmark' link at the bottom of the tread. This thread will then be displayed on your bookmarks page.
Bulleted List: A bulleted list is a way of formatting text into a list which is unordered.
Campaign: A continuing storyline or set of adventures.
