Lila: (Lie-La)

I stepped into the school halls and looked around nervously. The halls were filled with chatty students who were in small groups, couples snogging in the way of everyone and people who shoved past without apologising. I sighed. People could be so hard to take in when they wanted to be. I was new to this school, my family were large on travelling, so I have been to three countries,l and seven schools in counting. This school was no different to the others. I was seventeen now, and just wanted to get along with my career and end this school year, which would go around incredibly slow and I didn't know whether that was to purposely annoy me or not. I took a deep breath and tried to fix a smile onto my face and headed to the main desk, where I could get a timetable to know where I was going and not get lost and flustery already.

"Yes mum!" Alexander called as he shut his front door behind him. Warning messages from his mother to watch the roads and stay out if trouble. He usually did both of those. Usually. He made his way down the few minute walk to his school, where the battle begun. He had to weave his way through students, dodge couples and avoid flying objects. But then he reached the main office, where he sidled up to the counter and the woman behind it. "Hey, Joanne!" Alexander said loudy as he smirked at the woman, who just rolled her eyes. "Unless you are here to help with our new student, I suggest you leave Mr Sharpe, we have nothing to give you today." New student? Well this would be interesting. "Nah, you know I'm always interested in new students." He said sarcastically. Apparently school workers don't understand sarcasm...

Lila had sat in the plain office for several minutes, she looks around and sighs heavily, at least it was quiet in here from all of the racket outside. She had been told to sit down and wait because the lady at the office was having a phone call and was sorting out her school timetable at the same time, and anything else. She looked at a few magazines and then put them down when the lady called her up again and provided her with some supplies, she was even given a leaflet to know more about the school. She smiles and thanks the woman, then looks over when she heard the office door open and a guy come in. Who was he? He looked about her age, so maybe he was one of her classmates.

The woman behind the desk, Joanne as Alexander had previously called her, nodded to Lila. "Yes, a new student. Lila, this is Alexander. He appears to have just volunteered himself to show you around. " The woman told them, and Alexander gave a sly shrug, as if this was his plan. New students were always fun to mess around with. Although the boys were usually more fun to screw over with pranks than the girls, Alex was sure he could find a way around it. "That's me, the one and only." He grinned cheekily.

Lila nods slightly and then took hold of the supplies, holding them in her hand. "Right....Hey Alexander" She says in an un enthusiastic manner. She was still rather nervous, and quite shy around people but decided to go along with it. She skimmed for her first lesson, which was Music. Lila could play the piano, and had been learning for five years. She didn't mind the subject, as she had quite an eye for musical talent. "So, I have music. D'you know where this room is located?" She said, pointing to the print on the timetable.

"Right." Alexander nodded at her in return to her greeting. "I do indeed know where music is." He said in a bit of a snooty noise as he waved a goodbye to Joanne. It appeared at least his first lesson was with this new kid. Which was great, because he and his friends could begin planning pranks to play on her. Fake rules to tell her, sending her the wrong way and more. "Follow me." Alex said as he turned around and flamboyantly open the door, strutting out as if he had no care about what he was doing. Which really, he didn't.

Lila raised a brow at his strutting and sighed. This guy sure was full of himself and she had only been with him for a few minutes in the office to know that. What was he doing hanging around the office anyways? Didn't he have lessons to go to? He was probably one of them. Them being a typical rebel who didn't have much care for anything. As they walked to the lesson room, she kept quiet, not sure whay to say to the guy, who's name was Alexander. She cleared her throat lightly, and looks to him, fixing a smile to his face. "So... Uh... What's it like here?" She asks in a quiet voice.

"It's pretty good. Except for the occasional student that goes too over the top and stabs someone else with some scissors." Alexander shrugged as if it was standard. It really wasn't, but it was a lie he regularly told new students asking him questions like that. "Lessons are standard, most of the teachers are okay. Some of the students are kinda douches." He shrugged once more as he nudged students out of the way in the corridors to allow Lila and himself through the crowds. "Music." He said, gesturing to the door as they stood outside of it.

Lila raised another eyebrow. She doubted that people would stab each other with scissors. She shrugs, people will be people. She pushes her way through the never ending crowd until they reached a door, she looks to him suspiciously and looks down to the rectangle shaped timetable in her palms. This was definitely the right room, what a surprise. She knew many tricks, and knew that sending people to false rooms was one of them. Besides, you could hear the faint sounds of keyboards and chattering, so she was all good. "Thanks" She replies, placing her timetable into her trouser pocket. She nods lightly and headed inside, feeling a blush creep onto her cheeks. Oh god. Please don't let anyone be staring at me. Oh god. Oh please. Oh goodness, they are staring, aren't they? when Lila crept out of her flustering thoughts, she looked up and saw many eyes on her. Her hands were slightly shaky.

Alex watched as Lila walked into the room, then proceeded to follow her. The majority of the class were staring at her, which wasn't really surprising. Eyes averted to him as he stepped up right beside Lila and waved his hands deliberately to get their attention. "Yes hello, other music students. If you would kindly say hello and then go back to your own work that would be much appreciated. Thank you and goodbye." He said loudly to the class, before taking a bow. He turned to Lila with a slight laugh and a grin on his face. "There you go." He said, before walking off back to his seat.

Lila smiles weakly and then looks around to the other students, trying to find out what they were thinking of their new classmate by their facial expressions, nothing, they seemed barely interested in her. She didn't bother introduce herself, and quickly crept into a seat in the corner by a keyboard and moved her attention to the teacher. The teacher seemed to notice Lila's flustering and worry, so she didn't ask her to introduce herself in front of the whole class. That would just give her a panic attack straight on the spot, speaking in front of large crowds or presenting in front of class mates made her feel dizzy. She had been made to do it in her last school, and she barely knew what to say, she could just get out the words 'Hi. My name is Lila'. She worried waaaay too much.
