Fantasy Return of the Dragons [Characters]

The One, the Only.

  • Note: You may make as many characters as you can keep track of!

"Many years ago, dragons roamed the earth. They were mighty beasts feared through out all the lands... until Yogig rose to power and inspired humans to fight back against the dragons and take the world as rightfully theirs. He taught them not to be afraid of them, to be strong. He fought along side the humans to destroy all dragon life, and wipe the Earth of them entirely. This was only the beginning of Yogig's plan. The Earth's surface became covered in ashes and grief slowly over time, every being on it lived in ruin and destruction, their feelings full of fear, and their minds corrupted with war and bloodshed.

Two hundred years after Yogig led the destruction of dragons and took control over the Earth, the goddess Tiamat decided she'd had enough. She created a new generation of dragons, making them stronger than before, and capable of deceiving the petty humans. They were children, and at a first glance they were human, but something made them stand out. Maybe it was their skin- silky smooth to the touch, and shimmering with scales when the light hits it just right- or, maybe it was their powerful affinities of fire, earth, air, water, and the other elements. Tiamat believes her children will have the strength to break Yogig from his throne and maybe even destroy him... will she be wrong?

Tiamat's children must scour the world to find a way to stop Yogig without exposing themselves, or their brothers and sisters to the humans. They will have to travel through the only location that Yogig does not control, the Winterfell Forest, where the goddess Midnight rests. Yogig thought he had defeated Midnight long ago, while in truth she had escaped her destruction spiritually and now she rests, recovering, saving all of her available strength for when it will be needed the most.

They will travel to the tree of life where she rests and waits, and release her from it's grasp- awakening her from her deep sleep.

There will be many obstacles through their strides, from battles of blood thirst to wars of charisma and diplomatic discussion to the god of chaos that opposes none and opposes all, waiting and watching for the moment to claim the world from under Yogig's feet. Their mission and their travel will take them through many of the worlds landmarks; Whitemoon, Kyrima, Nyla, Redrose, Engood, and Itan, but their biggest obstacle and enemy waits unknowing on it's throne at the highest point in the center of Deathhold."

Appearance:
IMG_2890.JPG
IMG_2889.JPG
Weapons: Recurve bow and a bill.
Abilities: Vrüikan is proficient in using 'dark' magic such as shadow and necromancy based abilities. He can manipulate his own blood and those that his becomes mixed with as well, though he must be weary of using too much of his own supply or risk damaging his body. In both forms his bite contains a mixture of venom and bacteria in his saliva that cause immense pain and necrosis to develop at the site of the wound. As a dragon Vrüikan is sure footed and an able flier, though he is better suited for speed and long distance flights than agile maneuvering. Due to his affinity towards the dark he is less impacted by spells or abilities of the same nature in either form and he is not effected by sickness or infection. As a human Vrüikan makes for a decent medic and excellent archer. He is also good at using improvised weapons when in a bind.

Biography:

Vrüikan was raised alongside the other members of his family by a small colony of Dark dragons located in an underground network of caverns. Throughout his childhood and teenage years he spent equal time in both forms and learned to survive in the world as a mixture of man and beast: hunting for prey, locating new resources, and working with his brethren to ensure the survival of the colony. However as he aged Vrüikan grew curious about what the rest of the world had to offer and began to branch out from colony territory in order to explore various towns and settlements. He met with humans and dragons alike, though he was often driven away from dragon settlements once his breed was revealed out of paranoia and superstition.

At the age of 16 he became a healer's apprentice out of a desire to find a place in human society and to prove that dark dragons could contribute positively to a field typically left to other breeds of dragon. He was an excellent and focused student who displayed an aptitude for his line of work, but unfortunately suffered a string of bad luck with patients starting at the age of 19 when he moved his practice to a new town. Within the first three months of his arrival a wave of infection and plague struck suddenly and with devastating effect. Desperate for it to end and struggling through grief the humans (and even some dragons) began pointing fingers in Vrüikan's direction. After all, he never got sick and his pointed fangs, black nails, and deathly pale skin were almost... supernatural in appearance.

Other: Normally Vruikan is blind on his left side, however he can use his necromancy abilities to temporarily allow himself to see through his damaged eye. He has often been mistaken for a vampire in the past, and takes great offence to the comparison.
"Tell": Sharp canine teeth and black nails that curl into claws.

Biography:

Murrough started life as your typical street urchin; stealing food and valuables in order to survive. Life on the streets was difficult and filled with the perils of starvation, sickness, and crime, but would build him into a cunning and independant thinker.

Name: Alistair Hearthstone
Nickname: Al, Goldilocks (a joke among close friends), Scales, and Brightscales.
Sexuality: Omnisexual
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Species: Dragon
Type: Light/Fire dragon:
Crush: Open
Personality:

Alistair is an intelligent and compassionate individual with a curious, if somewhat playful demeanour. Having lived nearly his entire life under the protection of his adopted household, he has been lucky to avoid many of the perils and hardships faced by his brethren. Such a sheltered life (at least in comparison to so many others) has also allowed him to keep an idealistic world view and to pursue interests such as science and politics, which both intrigue him greatly. It is the young light dragon's greatest hope to see the societies of dragons and humans bridged together so that both species might prosper from shared knowledge and innovation.

Alistair possesses a keen mind and clever tongue that he prefers to make use of rather than his other 'talents. By necessity he is a good liar: having had to keep the rumours of his true heritage at bay on a regular basis and confirm to the public eye that he is (or at least appears to be) only human. When not reading in the study room, Alistair can most often be found out riding or exploring the local area. Although he does not need to worry so much about his 'tell' within the confines of his own home he has not had much time to spend in his true form.

Likes:

- Intelligent conversation
- Surprising people
- Making people laugh
- Basking in the sun
- Heat
- Swimming
- His family and friends

Dislikes:
- Snow
- Getting dirty
- Being cold
- Using his fire abilities
- Any perceived threats to his family and friends
- Those who abuse knowledge or restrict learning

Outfit: (Same as image)
Appearance:
IMG_1049.JPG
IMG_4295.JPG
Weapons: Alistair is trained with a sword and Bo. He carries both but prefers to use the latter.
IMG_4311.JPG
Abilities: Alistair is capable of wielding light and fire magic in both forms. Light magic is particularly useful in that it has the most applications: allowing him to do things like create light, illusions and heal the wounds of himself or others (though healing himself is more tricky). Alistair is immune to the harmful effects of fire and the scales he possesses in both forms are very durable. As a human is an excellent rider and moves with more confidence and grace than as a dragon.

Biography:

Alistair's story starts at the age of six. His parents, Ymir and Xirin lived in a small town populated by mostly humans; keeping their dragon identities secret from all but a few trusted individuals. They worked as the town's healers, using their light born gifts in tangent with the traditional medicines of their time to heal the sick and injured. Their magic often worked miracles, so most of the town turned a blind eye and let the pair continue with their work undisturbed despite whatever strangeness they seemed subject to: villagers ignored the strange glimmer of their skin, and the odd color of their eyes. They even ignored the large footprints in the forest and promptly forgot any strange sightings of flying creatures in the distance.

However as it was bound to occur eventually, visitors to the town eventually spread word of these things until the news was picked up by the wrong pair of ears. A band of dragon hunters was quick to take interest in the stories and decided to investigate the situation. They didn't reveal themselves or act immediately upon arriving in town, but rather they spread suspicion and paranoia until they had a larger group of hunters and townspeople combined and thirsting for action. Then they made their move. Ymir perished in the fight, but Xirin would survive for long enough to bring their son to safety.

At the age of six the young Alistair was brought to Eric and Evelyn Hearthstone, a nobleman and woman and who'd long been the trusted friends of Xirin and Ymir. The dragon trusted that the Hearthstones would find someplace safe for his son, and not long after his passing the Hearthstone's made a decision that Alistair would be raised like one of their own. Surely their status would be enough to keep danger at bay?

Other:
"Tell": Golden scales along his torso, arms and legs.

Biography: Legend goes, that many years ago, two dragons fell in love. The bravest of the ice clan, Nirvana Hallow, and The most powerful of the shadow clan, Atlas Jades. Not many years after they met, they were married, and their daughter was born. Máni, a hybrid of the two with the same extraordinary powers. They were happy for the first, maybe six years of her life until the very people they protected, hired a hunter to kill them. Her uncle, found her, covered in the hunters and her parents blood. She was the only living person left, and how this child took on a grown man in a full set of armor was unknown, but more were on the way. Baldur had to hide her, and went to take on the hunters himself, only to be captured. Máni stayed in her hiding place for three days until hunger started to take it's toll on the six year old. She finally emerged from the hollow tree, only to find herself did to face with bandits. The Red Raptors to be precise, notorious for taking young girls. They pretended to be friends, offering her food and drink, and she, a trusting child, fell for it. But when asked for her name, she was smart enough to lie, and she told them Kage Kori.

She would spend the next few years, until she turned 13, as their beer wench. Once she turned 13, She was chosen for one of the leaders harem. A collection of girls, all under the age of 18, her being the youngest. For the next five years, she was actually very comfortable aside form the fact she was broken. Being part of the leaders harem had it's perks. She never went hungry, She didn't sleep on the ground like he had done, and she was treated decently enough. Other than the rape. She was the leaders favorite, especially after he found out she was a dragon. Anyway, one day when she was 17, and waiting outside a shop when other dragons found her. And that's where she began the best time of her life. She joined these dragons on their quest to find the gods, a quest from Midnight and Tiamat themselves. During this time, She found her uncle again, her mate, her grandmother. She was happy for the first time in a long time. Until she was captured by Chaos as a gift for Yogig outside an old dragon town called Whitemoon. Malekith beat her to a bloody pulp, allowing the old god to take her. He needed a Hybrid, and an uncommon hybrid like herself to open the vault. But she didn't help him, at least, until a demon got ahold of her. That was the worst thing she had ever been through. Once she was returned to Whitemoon and treated for her wounds, she had changed into the person many know today. The battle hardened woman.

Not to long after that, Malekith went on a rampage, killing everyone in the group, except for her. She managed to escape gravely wounded. Getting to a near by human town, She was nursed back to health by the local doctor, and sent on her way after she was heard enough to make it on her own. Now, She wanders the land as a mercenary, once again going by her birth name. She's given up on the gods, but if the chance arises to take on the ones who changed her, She would gladly take the chance to kick their asses.

I love this, my first RP on this site. Let's hit it.

Name: Malekith
Nickname: Son of Fire and Air
Sexuality: Hetero-Straight
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Species: Dragon
Type: Gold Dragon
Crush: None that he can find anymore
Personality:
Malekith's life has been full of terror, pain, and anger. Because of that, he is slow to trust, very outspoken and headstrong, and has lots of sympathy for humans, believing they knew not what they were doing when they attacked the Dragons. While only recently becoming attached with his Dragon side, he is really more trusting of humans, who he spent his life with. Not blaming humans, he knows who really lies behind the assault of Dragons-Yogig.
Likes: Fire, Close Allies, Humans, Sparring
Dislikes: Cold, Yogig, Dragons who are intolerant of Humans

Abilities: Manipulation of fire, minor magical abilities, Immune to most magic (extremely powerful magic can still affect him)
Weak to Cold, Rather weak flier
Biography: Malekith might be one of the only Draogns who doesn't loath humans with a passion. Having spent most of his life in human form, he has learned their social aspects, learned their struggles, and has even defended them. When he was young, he discovered his gift and kept it a secret from his family, fearing they would no longer love him should his gift be uncovered. He spent 13 years keeping it secret, living with humans and only testing the waters of his power when he was hidden and alone. A night came when he awoke from a terrible nightmare, whispers in his mind, screams, and images of him slaughtering his own family as a dragon. Upon waking up, he found himself in the ruins of his old home, family and friends all dead around him, and from then on, wandered the world as a human, trying to find out what God cursed him with this.

He didn't need to look far before running into another pack of Dragons, and went to search for Gods such as Midnight and Tiamat, that would help him combat Yogig and Chaos, who he believed to be behind his assault on his family. During these travels, the God's whispers got to him once more, and he killed most of the old party in a rage induced by the Gods. Now he wanders again, almost alone, searching for the Gods who turned their back on him for his slaughter. Not wanting to grow attached to anyone, he has become very distant from most people, fearing the evil God's whispers will drive him back to his murderous treachery.

Name: Yogig, God of Death
Nickname: Death, The Doom Walker, The Dead One, He who comes in the Dark, Lord of Dead Dreams
Sexuality: N/A
Gender: Male, but can take the voice of any
Age: ?????
Species: God
Type: God of Death, an Old God, one of the first to take effect on the world
Crush: N/A
Personality: The Dead One, the Lord of Dead Dreams, the Doom Walker, all these names have been given to him because of his lust for killing. Being a believer in Order, he will do anything to shackle the world to his will, with a strict order and even stricter sacrifices. Yogig is not one to forgive, and enjoys corrupting Dragons and watching heroes fall. He has found a strange pleasure in hunting down other Gods, and has already killed one himself-the Day of the Dark Moon.
Likes: Death, Order, Corruption
Dislikes: Chaos, Hope, Heroes
Appearance: He takes the form of many, though he can only appear in Dreams for the time being (see Other). Some of his favorites are:

tumblr_ne4okpk1Ip1tjrwu3o4_r1_500.jpg

Weapons: Various weapons, but he prefers to just use his magic
Abilities: Can raise hordes of undead, corrupt dragons, and cast various forms of Death Magic. He has quite the following, and the more who follow him, the more power he gets. He cannot enter the Physical Realm just yet however, and works towards it.
Biography: (More in lore) Yogig first came to consciousness when the first man died, waking him and giving him purpose. Yogig was one of the first, if not the first God to ever contact a human, as humans were weak minded, and could be easily influenced. These humans would easily see the truth-Death is the only certain thing in this world, and they were quick to fall under his control. He was furious when other Gods began to take forms and tried to corrupt humanity for their own purposes, Chaos, Sanction. These were the three old Gods, relying on the flaws of Humans, and therefore made contact first, and would have the most power. Yogig-Death Chaos-...Chaos Sanction-God of Prime Evils
In response to them, the other weaker Gods banded together to begin making children of themselves, in the form of Dragons. Dragons were immune to the powers of the Old Gods, and though Yogig was the only one who could really touch them, they rarely died, forcing him to expend more energy hunting them down and killing them than he regained when he took their soul. After several Years of peace, Yogig was able to convince the humans to band together into his own empire, Xas-Taroth, where his humans would worship him and the would train necromancers to harness the power of the undead. Eventually, they were powerful enough to raise an army to take on the Dragons. After a bloody battle, where more people died in it than are alive today, the Dragons were forced to retreat back to the ones who made them, and where Yogig found his fascination with corrupting and twisting Dragons.
Yogig was on the road to total domination, until Chaos began to fight him, realizing that if Yogig took over, the entire world would be in a strict order, which would kill him. Sanction realized he would run into a similar problem, yet knowing Chaos could not be trusted, waged war on the world, going in to kill anything that moved. While Yogig was busy fighting them, the other Gods were able to take advantage of them, and banish them from the physical plane, and crush his army and his kingdom.
Now, Yogig tries to commune with the few loyal servants that remain, wanting to rebuild his capitol, and then his Kingdom, so that he may once again walk the world, and take over, this time, forever.
Other: He cannot walk on the physical plane yet, though he strives to make that a reality. For now he can only speak in Dreams and in visions.

Name: ChAoS
Nickname: Eater of Dreams, the Silent Shouter, The great Manipulator, The Faceless One
Sexuality: N/A
Gender: Male, but once again can take any form
Age: ?????
Species: God
Type: Old God
Crush: N/A
Personality: He never cared for names, and those who witnessed his terrible power would call him Chaos, in the old days when humans were first beginning to form civilizations. ChAoS might have been the first to walk, as most things humans do are covered in Chaos. Nothing delights ChAoS more than war, as it is a great instigator of Chaos-so long as it continues. When ChAoS could no longer corrupt the Dragons, he was forced into a weak state where he could barley enter the world, and sat in the dark waiting for his time. When Yogig's armies marched, ChAoS was able to regain much of his power as a great war shook the world, and with his magic, was able to keep the war going.
Unfortunately for him, the Gods called a retreat of the Dragons, and Yogig made his attempt to convert the entire world into either undead, or fanatic acolytes to serve him. Knowing this would put an end to his power, ChAoS attacked Yogig, and even tricked Sanction into joining the fight, making a 3 way battle between the Old Gods. While ChAoS' power grew, the other Gods used the opportunity to strike at the Old Gods while they fought, and were able to drive them back to their horrible planes of existence which they dwelt. Of course, while Sanction was locked away and has never been heard from, ChAoS knew Yogig would try to rebuild his empire and try to return to the world. Luckily for ChAoS though, the world remained a terrible and chaotic place, allowing him to slip into the Physical plane, and he can still do so-for a time.
Likes: Chaos, War, Betrayal
Dislikes: Order, Gods, Dragons (who are resistant to his corruption)
Appearance: He takes many forms, a few favorites are:

Sexuality: Straight
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Species: Human
Type: Knight
Crush: Open
Personality: Solaire used to be fun loving bright eyes and open to the world if someone asked him a question he would answer immediately with the truth, but after the day he left his home in view of a new life he shut down realizing his father who never wanted him would not grow to love him no matter how accomplished he was. Now Solaire is closed off not talking much and only answering with grunts, one thing that has never changed about him is he is a very honorable man always sticking to his word even if it gets him killed. While Solaire prefers to be alone every once in a while he will stick with a group of mercenaries trying to help here and there often times he won't make that much money from helping people for free or for half cost. When Solaire actually gets the sleep he always has nightmares and yells in his sleep despite being almost mute in his day to day life, the dreams he has are a curse from Yogig when he invaded his mind don't try to wake Solaire because when he is woken up he goes into fight or flight. Solaire has many regrets and one of them was letting his mind get taken over and killing that child dragon because of this he has taken a vow of silence and offered to do all his work for free in order to one day atone for his sins of killing an innocent.
Likes: Chicken, Fire, Combat, Snow, and Solitude.
Dislikes: Nobles, Sleeping, Dreams, His Nickname, and Regrets.
Appearance:
Realms-of-Mayhem-male-knight.jpg

Weapons: Great Sword of Astora
Abilities: Sword-Play, Strength, Stamina, Charismatic.
Biography: Solaire is a bastard of a noble and a peasant woman, in his youth he sought only the favor of his father and tried to always seek his attention and make him proud. In his attempts to do so he found himself slowly drifting into combat training and eventually going into a battle school, over the next few years he raised in the ranks still ever chasing the approval of a father that never wanted him. Even when Solaire was acknowledged by the nobles his father still ignored him, eventually, Solaire grew tired of seeking his father's approval realizing it would never come he decided to pack his things and make a new life for him self.
After he was traveling for a few months confident that he was far away enough Solaire decided to settle down and try to make a new life. One night, as he was sleeping Solaire had a dream of a giant creature in the ocean and it commanded him to find a young adult and kill it for it was evil and would cause ruin and destruction, As well as saying that the creature in the dream proved that he was real and this was a command from God. When Solaire awoke he felt like something was in the back of his head trying to control him before he knew it the day was gone and it was night time Solaire had moved across the room and was now in the corner of the room covered in blood. He soon realized that after he awoke he blacked out and went killing the child but it was no ordinary child for Solaire had killed a dragon he would get flashes of what actually happened that day where he blacked out and soon pieced it together after he stabbed the child it turned into a dragon clawing his left temple and burning his arm badly before he fully killed it. While Solaire is still haunted by his first sin of killing another being even if it was a dragon he finds that the monster in his dream constantly torments him.

Name: Iskrit
Nickname: N/A
Sexuality: Straight
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Species: Dragon
Type: Dwarf Dragon
Crush: N/A
Personality: Despite his draconic nature, Iskrit is very much a teenager. His apathy is exacerbated by the futility he sees in trying to live. He exists day-to-day for a chance to have one last thrill before a dragon hunter finally picks him off - or at least, he tells himself this. In truth, he's likely just an adolescent, taking risks and making excuses which always somehow set him apart, and make his stupidity abnormally justified. Adolescents are incredible, one must suppose, in their ability to twist the facts of life to support the stories they tell themselves.
That said, Iskrit is hardly an idiot, and he's hardly suicidal. He's boring in most respects, and his self-loathing and grand scale complaining become tiresome all too easily. He says he couldn't care less if he died, but when faced with an actual fight, he runs, and again he makes excuses. He's a pitiful excuse for a dragon in nearly every way.
So, how, exactly, should one categorize Iskrit? As a lazy, cowardly, self-serving, morbid, attention-seeking, adolescent fool. It's time for him to grow up.
Likes: Good food, lots of rest, and attention when he feels like it.
Dislikes: Obligations and idealism.
Outfit: An old tunic and a grey cape.
Appearance: The following images are the closest that could be found. Imagine the human form's hair as a darker, greyish colour, and of course, apply the glimmering of scales to the skin. The disposition of the character is roughly correct, though. As for the dragon form, accept that it is no taller than the average man, and that its scales are more pronounced and in a more golden-beige shade. The shape of the head is correct, though. Also picture the majestic/fearsome wings and the tail which nearly exceeds the body in length.

7e89efc4-5bbd-4707-96a3-b3cfb78cc474.png

Weapons: N/A (Weapons will be acquired as the roleplay progresses, presumably. Should this be updated to include them as they are collected?)
Abilities: A malefic breath which causes flesh to rot and corrode, growing frail with disease if left to fester. Only mildly effective, and most devastating after the battle, as recovery from this is difficult. This natural weapon has a very limited range; it extends no more than a metre from the mouth. Thankfully, Iskrit also has good speed and agility when compared to most dragons, a benefit of his smaller form. Unfortunately, this makes him less durable and less powerful in terms of brute strength. Still easily enough to kill a human, and often sufficient to withstand most basic weaponry, but incomparable to the invulnerability of greater dragon species.
Biography: Iskrit used to care.
Years ago, there were other dragon-children like himself. They fulfilled their purpose, as prescribed to them by their patron deity, and they were friendly enough with each that they considered themselves family in all senses of the word. They were effective, but they were still children, so it was more important that they survive. They made companions out of elves and men, and a few other races, but there were only a few who stayed with them for long. There was Ibrigidat, a man whose name was odder than his habit of acting mute under all but the most dire circumstances, and whose prowess in battle was acceptable by high standards, and impressive to most. There was Ralf Herman, a mercenary who was paid in gold by friends of the children to protect them. His lifestyle was definitely archetypal of a bad influence, but he played his role and the group stayed safe. Finally, there was the elven warrior Luftemaat, whose proficiency with weapons was humbled by his sense of honour, but not to the point that he broke the elven stereotype of arrogance. But, Iskrit knew that one of these three had been the one to sell his 'family' to the dragon hunters. He had only seen Ralf Herman once after the attack which had taken so many draconic lives; the mercenary had been drinking ale in a tavern, and had chased Iskrit away after only a short conversation.
That had been years ago, and Iskrit had stopped caring long ago. This was not in the sense that he had begun to say he did not care, but rather in the sense that he had legitimately abandoned all concern for what had happened. He had come to terms with several facts, and in coming to terms with them he had made his conclusions. He recognized that dragons were hunted so they died. They died, so they could not complete their mission. Without their mission they did not have a purpose. Without a purpose, they were free to enjoy what little life they had been cursed with.
So, Iskrit now sat in empty rooms and back alleys across various towns, cursing the world through his words and his future through his actions. Fool me once...

First RP on this site... 'ere we go!

Name: Caye (lacks a surname)
Sexuality: Bisexual
Gender: Female
Age: Mid-twenties
Species: Dragon
Type: Electric
Crush: ... uh, none. Atm.
Personality: Caye is a rather self-confident, kind, and overall trustworthy and reliable individual–to her friends and allies, or course. She's also your stereotypical heroic, who'd always help an innocent in need; however, she's no vigilante, and doesn't go off to pursue law/morale breakers alone. Overall, she's kindhearted to her friends, rude as hell to her enemies. Obvious, right?
Likes: Acts of kindness, common sense, electricity, melee weaponry, meat.
Dislikes: Bitches, unnecessary jackassery, Dragonslayers (or dragon hunters, whatevs), vegetables.
Outfit:

53f4829205e99ea33b7c68bc835198b0--character-concept-character-design.jpg

"Dragonskin"
A suit of armor made simply of steel. Designed to have the appearance of a dragon, as trickery is not one of Caye's talents. It provides good resistance to small to medium attacks as well as most bow and arrows, however heavy attacks will dent and possibly destroy the armor.

When not in the armor, she usually simply wears something casual.

Appearance:
Shaggy-Blonde-Pixie-Hair.jpg

Caye has a head of short, boyish blonde hair, along with a fair skin complexion, angular facial structure, and athletic, mesomorphic figure. Standing at 5'10" and weighing 170 lbs, she is much larger than your average female; in her armor, 6' exactly. And all of it is muscle.

Weapons: Caye carries three weapons with herself at all times; a glaive, a scimitar, and a greatsword.

The glaive is about six feet in length, used in scenarios where more range is necessary. It is primarily used two-handed, however can be used in a single hand if necessary.

The scimitar is about two and a half feet in length, the half foot being the grip while the blade is about two feet long. A quick, lightweight weapon–always a good choice.

And finally, a black greatsword, about four feet in length. Three and 1/4th feet going to the blade. A slower, yet heavier and more brutal weapon.

Abilities:

Caye's left arm is able to transform into that of a dragon's. The dragon arm has superhuman strength–enough to crush skulls with bare hands–in addition to extraordinarily resistant, metallic scales, and long, four inch claws. In order for Caye to transform her arm, however, the left arm of the Dragonskin must be detached. When the dragon arm is active, Caye gains the ability to manipulate wind, all three states of water, and electricity, as well as high resistance to these elements and the ability to consume electricity.

In addition to this, Caye is also stronger when it's raining; the harder it rains, the more powerful she becomes.

Caye is a proficient swordsman, but no master or even expert. In human form she lacks any abilities that stand out, aside from an above average physicality, senses, and reflexes.

Biography:

Caye was spawned into the world as one of the New Generation dragons creatwd by Tiamat. She awoke in a strange, deserted forest, in the middle of a raging thunderstorm, covered in mud and drenched in rainwater. It was then that a raging forest fire behan around Caye, consuming trees, wildlife, and likely, Caye as well. She fell unconscious to the sight of burning trees, toppling over.

She was saved from the wildfire by a boy, about seven years of age. This boy had shaggy, black hair and unnaturally orange eyes. When Caye awoke once more, she was on a bed made of leaves and twigs, the boy kneeling at her side. Caye would later find out that the boy's name was Vance, and that he a fire dragon not of the new generation, but of the old one. His dragon parents had long been slain by hunters.

Often, the two would enter the nearest town in their human forms. They would pose as human children, trying to fit in with the populace. Doing this, they would be, for the most part, accepted; many had their suspicions of the two strange children, but those suspicions were set aside as it was seen that Vance and Caye meant no harm. All seemed to be going well, until dragonslayers visited.

The dragonslayers that visites were a brutal bunch, that thought themselves to be children of gods or something; they believe that the town should worship them, for slaying dragons. When they didn't, they took to brutalizing the weaker members of the town.

This led to Vance losing it, turning into a dragon and attacking the dragonslayers while Caye could only watch in terror. The dragonslayers would, of course, slay Vance, bur not before he has burned the entire town down. From that day forward, Caye found herself unable to transform into a dragon, for the image of Vance's decapitated head would always appear behind her eyelids the moment she tried.

Now, Caye travels the world in solitude, killing whatever dragonslayers she saw and attempting to save the lives of any other individual she saw in danger–through the usage of her stolen weaponry and armor. Many saw her as some sort of childish vigilante; Caye only saw herself as doing what Vance would'be done.

A few things- first, Caye needs to have a dragon form (or not, more on this at the end of this jumble of fill-out-your-character-more questions). Just changing her arm is hardly an ability- if she is a lightning/storm dragon, perhaps give her the ability to conduct electricity. Next, the backstory needs to be... more. One paragraph is a minimum of five sentences, with most being around seven. Think out your character as if they were a human being and not just a fictional piece of work. You start with "she was born", born to who? Did she have dragon parents or was she a new-generation dragon put into the world by Tiamat (like Lisette, my own character, was)? Did she have an adoptive mortal family, or grow up wild on her own with occasional help from traveling strangers? And born where? Was she born in an enchanted forest, in a small town, in a city? You say she had one friend, Vance. How did they meet? How did they start out? Were they immediately best friends, or were they rivals at first? He is a dangerous fire dragon, but why would she think that? Did he often endanger himself and/or others that she had seen? Or did she just thin he was dangerous because he told stories that were "big talk", without having seen anything to prove this? You said they spend days together, what kind of things did they do? Did they mess around the woods (with Vance possibly setting small fires that Caye had to put out)? Did they wander around town, did they travel together? Did they read together? You mention Vance being killed by hunters- how did this happen? She saw it, but why was she present when it happened? Did he know they were coming for him? How did he expose himself to him? Did someone tip him off to hunters? Did he commit crimes, did he take risks? How did they kill him, was he assassinated stealthily, was he executed, or was there a messy battle- if there was, did she try to defend him? Are the hunters also after her, and know what she is? She hates hunters, and has a lot of anger to the ones that killed Vance, could you describe this more? Was she kept up at night with nightmares, does she suffer paranoia and take to being untrusting and untrustworthy? Does this effect her relationship with the mortal races as a whole, or just hunters? Does she seek vengeance, is she obsessed with getting back at her friend's killers? You said she "attacked them on sight" for a time, who is "them"? Did she attack all hunters, or did she attack non-dragon people in general, or did she attack people who reminded her of/looked like Vance's killers? Why did Caye "slow down", morality, guilt, or a mental exhaustion from pursuing something so out of her reach? She wants to make up for failing Vance by protecting others, how does she do this? Does she volunteer/offer free service, is she into medicine and healing, is there a group/individual in particular she applies these efforts to protect to? Is she a soldier? If she is a soldier, for who? How does she disguise herself- if she hides her skin with the armor, where did she get it? Who made it? Does it have sentimental value to her? Is it something she's always seen at a nearby blacksmith and never been able to afford, but decides to steal? Before Vance died maybe he stole it for her (to feed his "troublemaker" personality)? What about her weapons- where did she get them, and how? If she did buy all her items, including the armor, how did she afford it? Is she a pick-pocket, an assassin, a barmaid, a mercenary, or does she work some sort of other honest (or "honest") job? Does she know about the purpose given to her by existing, Tiamat's mission for all her children? Does she have a special connection to Tiamat in some way? If she doesn't know about the dragons' purpose, including her own, why? Was there an accident that had her forget her early life, was she traumatized? (here is where we talk about the "needs-a-dragon-form, or-maybe-not") If you decide to leave her without her dragon form, what would it have looked like? Why can't she transform- physical inability, does she have a psychological block, does transforming affect her mind (from a past trauma, like PTSD, where transforming triggers her into a state of mind like a veteran come back from war)? If it's a physical disability, what caused it? Was she severely damaged in her dragon form, physically or psychologically? Does she have trouble shifting back? Had she lost her memory of how to transform? Was she damaged mid-transformation, affecting her ability to switch between the two? Did she have a new-generation half-dragon parent and a human parent, making her only quarter-dragon, and making her only able to transform limbs into that of a dragon's? Is she corrupted, by either Chaos or Yogig? On the topic of Gods, does she have a religion? You can totally suggest ideas to me for deities. Also powers, she can have powers in human form, most dragons have a breath and some typical strengths like either dexterity and speed or strength and size. In human form, maybe she can create small sparks at her finger tips, use mild telepathy to create static electricity, control water, etc.

If you want to discuss anything about your character, including the stuff above, start a conversation with me/private message me and we can talk about it.

Done.

I used to make long 'n more detailed biographies, until I eventually fell into a "LEARN IT IN RP REEEEE" mindset, so I'm a little rusty lmao

As long as people don't meta, the only time writing "spoilers" in a bio is important is if the character is an antagonist. Even then, it's typical to give all the information you can in your bio in group roleplays. After you write your bio and have your character accepted, you're pretty much free to improvise the more specific details as you please to enhance your replies. Just remember to post a minimum of a single 5-sentence paragraph per reply.

Name: Talia
Nickname: Talia the Siren
Sexuality: Bi
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Species: Dragon
Type: Ember
Crush: Open
Personality: Talia is an excellent faker, most of her personality she fakes and changes on a dime which makes it hard to pinpoint what she is actually like. Talia often changes how she acts depending on the person she is talking to almost mimicking their personality and changing her behavior accordingly. That being said Talia does have problems in group setting often times not knowing who's personality to mimic which can cause her to show a sliver of how she normally acts when no one is around, her original personality is that of someone twisted she enjoys hurting anything she can but hides it extremely well to the point if someone told you her real personality you would have trouble believing them.
Likes: Music, Fire, Flying, Murder, Torture, and Hiding
Dislikes: Weakness, Day Time, Nature, and Humans

Weapons: Twin daggers one hidden in the false back of her instrument the other is in a holster on her thigh.
Abilities: Ash breath (Dragon) Ash Ball (Human)
Biography: Talia was taken in and raised by a group of bandits, in her youth she would watch her parents and their friends raid pillage and burn towns to the ground until one day her adoptive uncle took her in after a raid gone wrong resulting in the loss of her parent's lives. Talia's uncle was an Assassin by trade and one of the most wanted men in their native Kingdom at first he didn't know she was a dragon but when he found out he knew he had to help Talia. The next day Talia's uncle trained her to be an assassin the same way he was trained in her human form she could kill ten men with no problem but she lacks any practical training in her native dragon form. When Talia was at the ripe age of eleven she had killed her first target and soon she rose the ranks gaining the title of Siren in her later years seducing her targets with song and her voice then killing them when they were in privacy later. Everything was going fine until one day when Talia and her uncle were sitting in a local inn known for helping the underground folk hide from the law of the king, dragon hunters burst in the door looking for her after the small war that ensued with everyone in the inn fighting them off Talia and her uncle left town fast.

Talia's uncle decided it would be best for them to go their separate ways know that she was a fully trained assassin and that she was a dragon he felt she needed to go find and be with her own people, Talia now wanders the land as a bard taking up Assassin contracts when she needs money. Talia recently found a contract of a group of people in the woods past a small town who live in the woods and use it for shelter so she is currently making her way towards them ever tracking and ever hunting with her goal to be finding another dragon like her uncle said she needed to be with her kind.

Accepted! Try to remember to keep that character balanced though. An assassin in roleplay is hard to play without Godmodding, I've seen.
