Realistic or Modern Restless Asylum

She giggled a little. "It's fine. I'm Mika. So what game is that?" Outside, Mika was quite, calm and collected. Inside, she was squealing with excitement because someone was actually going to be nice to her. She was very happy that she may actually have a real friend. Jerrit didn't act like "God's gift to the world" and he seemed like a nice guy. She hadn't been genuinely happy to talk to someone for years.

Jerrit smiled as his nervousness started to ease a little "I-ts a game called M-m-onster Hunter...yeah nerdy stuff" Jerrit was happy he could finally talk to someone even though itll take a while to get used to. "I hear that the asylum is haunted, do you believe in that sort of stuff?".

Fate roll 4 out of 10 (Check ooc)

The bus bumped along as it neared its destination. The Ominous chain link fence around the broken down building became more visible as did the details of the stone work along the building's walls. The structure was standing still after decades of not being taken care of or maintained in any way. There was some projects to clean up the place by volunteer groups however the projects were short lived due to unfortunate events they had been canceled. The driver entered the chain link fence and started driving up the long drive way up to the building. Everything was going smoothly until a sudden shadow appeared on the side of the road, out of no where, and jumped in front of the bus. The driver yelped and turn the wheel acting more on instinct trying not to hit the person however the unkempt dirt cover road did not go well with the sudden shift in momentum. The back of the bus continued on its previous path causing the bus to tip and way before finally falling onto its right side throwing all of the passengers for a fairly rough ride before skidding to a stop.

The teacher, who had been sitting on the left, saw the shadow and felt the sudden shift in momentum. He cursed under his breath. "Everyone hold on!" He called out as the bus started to tip. He grabbed hold of the seat in front of him but he was no match for the violent yank of gravity. He went tumbling onto the students who were beside him, Rios and Trian. He tried to catch himself as not to crush the two girl suffering injuries in his effort to protect his students.

Once the bus settled he looked down at the two girls then shifted to see how the rest of the class was fairing. "Is everyone alright?" He called out to the class as he pushed himself up. Both of his wrists screaming in pain as well as his side which had slammed into the back of one of the seats in the fall.

Time for the fun to start! ~ You dont have to be seriously injured just shaken up if you want to be nice ^-^

Jerrit sat himself up in a daze, there was blood gushing out of his nose with some minor cuts on his arms and face. He looked down at Mika "Hey, are you ok?" Jirret rolled Mika over onto her back as he lost balance and had to catch himself on a seat.

Jaron felt the bus jump around the bumpy road. Thank to his legs locked to the seat he didn't fly around like most of the people were. But he felt his body fly off to the window next to him. He hit his head fairly hard, but thanks to his experience in boxing and being hit in the head a lot he only felt a not too painful of a headache, even though the window was now cracked, and now he had a cut on the side of his head.

Mika is currently passed out with a large gash on the right side of her head. It is not bleeding heavily, but is bleeding none the less.

Jerrits eyes widen as he sees her injuries, He picks her up and this isnt a easy task considering his arm is pretty banged up. "Someone help she is hurt!" Jerrit brings her to the front of the bus and looks for a first aid kit. He scrambles on the ground then he sees it hanging on the top of the tipped over bus, climbing up the seats to grab it takes a minute for Jerrit isnt in the greatest condition at the moment. When his arm grabs the medkit he rushes back down and wraps Mika's head in sterile cloth. "If anyone has any medical training please make sure she doesn't need stitches!"

Israel was launched out of her seat and gripped desperately onto the seat in front of her, but it

was to no avail as she fell backwards and landed painfully on top of her right leg. She yelped cradling her calf to her chest trying to catch her breathe. Her body was trembling badly and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get it to stop.

First her head, now her leg...

Izz was just having a whole lot of bad luck today.

Shakily she attempted to stand to her feet and let out a ragged breath of relief to find that she wasn't severely injured. The limb was just bruised with a few minor scrapes, but now that she had taken the time to inspect the rest of her body she realized that her arm hadn't been as lucky. There was a long and nasty gash torn jaggedly through her flesh, running from the crook of her elbow up to her shoulder (From where? She couldn't remember.) and a dangerous amount of blood was gushing out of it. All it took was for her to notice the wound before the pain started and she clutched her arm in agony let out a low sound that was a mixture of a scream and a groan.

The extreme amount of blood loss was making her head lightheaded and her knees began to buckle from the pain and sudden exhaustion in her body.

Beatrix recalled the lecture Mr. Erickson had given before the field-trip, he wasn’t kidding when he said that “Mental Asylums, at the time, were very much prisons.” She wasn’t sure if the fencing was to keep the patients in or the people out. Either way, an uncanny feeling crept over Beatrix and made itself at home.

As the bus sank further into the confinement of the Asylum, Beatrix began to prepare herself; not only physically, but mentally as well. She grabbed her backpack and slipped the strap over her shoulder, tightening it in place. “I wonder where my book is..” she thought, thinking of all the immature comments someone was -probably- making as they snooped in on her pass-time.

Beatrix was abruptly yanked from her daze when she heard Mr.Erickson shouted, "Everyone hold on!" ; Beatrix's eyes widened in panic as she held onto nothing, because there was nothing to be held. The bus slammed down on it's side into the dirt road, throwing some students-and teacher- from their seats and slamming Beatrix into the metal-siding of the Bus with a loud thud. The window shattered on impact, tiny bits and pieces of glass crumbling into the dirt. Beatrix used her hand to prop herself up, unknowingly pushing it onto the remaining fragments of glass. One of them lightly cut across her palm, just barely tearing through enough flesh to draw blood. She pulled arm back to her chest, mumbling words of frustration underneath her breath.

Never had she been so glad that no-one wanted to sit next to her, or in the seat opposite to her.. or infron- it doesn't matter, she was glad. Beatrix peered around, looking at her disoriented classmates, some of which bared rather graphic wounds.

Wreckage of the Bus

As Hiro felt a sudden jerk as the bus began to tip as the driver swerved to avoid something on the road. Hiro would be launched into the seat infront of him, his head hitting it roughly. causing him to become dazed slightly. as the bus finished its tip the window beside Hiro would shatter, sending glass flying into him, thankfully he had glasses or the glass would have blinded him,. with a thud Hiro would land on the the remains of the window.

As he lay on there, staring out what could only be the left hand window at the back of the busy. Hiro's vision would be going in and out of focus, having suffered a concussion from hitting his head, He was lucky, others might not have got out with such minor injuries. Raising his Arm up and grabbing the seat beside him and hoisting himself up. Standing up slowly with a slight stagger, he would look around. "
Hello? is everyone okay?" Hiro would call out towards the front of the bus.

"
Fucking bus..." Hiro would say with a sigh, as he took his glasses off and pulled open his bag and replaced them with a non broken pair he had on him. "what the hell happened..."

Gretel

"Ha Ha Ha this is called Bus Tipping"

Mid text Gretel felt something around her. Closing her phone, she slipped it into her skirt pocket as she looked around. Her eyes had become more aware of her surroundings, squinting and glancing from one part of the outside of the bus to the other. Instantly Gretel's body went flying upwards as the bus forcefully swerved to get out of the way. The first thing to get hit was her head, the side at least. Next was the cut across wrist, when she landed in the other seat, on top of a girl. "WHAT IDIOT BRINGS A RAZOR." Was the only thing she could yell out, as the bus titled on its side. The dirt that got kicked up from the skidding of the bus, made Gretel cover her eyes and nose. As soon as it stop, Gretel moved away from the girl and her razors. Quickly covering her bleeding wrist she sat on the bus floor ,leaning against the window that has now become a wall. Gretel's first thought was to find Dani , but she was probably somewhere up in the first three rows. Gretel was unsure of what to do. The air around the bus felt suffocating, as if something was trying to make them get out. The malice was bearable, but it was be just her luck, that some idiot would strike its nerve. Gretel thought this could be an accident, a hoax, or an attempt to scare them. She was wrong, and once more her worries had pushed right through the front lines and on the battlefield. In her ear she heard a little boy giggle. "Damnit...."

"Woah!" Nathan jerked awake as he was violently hurled to the right, his mind thrown into sudden chaos. His momentum was only halted by the seat belt that he had thankfully strapped on at the beginning of the trip. It dug into his abdomen and his waist and he winced. Blinking for a bit, he tried to gather his thoughts. School trip, then he fell asleep reading that boring book for assigned reading. And then…? All around, he could hear sounds disoriented classmates and groans of pain. "Hey, what happened? Are you guys alright?" he called out. It would be a good idea to stay put for now as he had been sitting on the left side of the bus and had no idea how to get down safely. Sadly, misfortune wasn't done running its course.

Rriiipp!
Nathan began a sideways free fall as the old and frayed seat belt came apart. His hands scrabbled to get ahold of something, anything. Clutching the belt buckle that remained intact with the seat, his body slid across until he was dangling from only his arms. It was a short drop, so Nathan landed on his feet with only a few bruises. He stood there shaking as the adrenaline coursed through his body and the fear was replaced by a spreading feeling of euphoria. He was alive and intact. Now, if only the others were as lucky as he was.

"Is everybody okay?" Nathan called out again. Climbing over the bus seat, he was alarmed at the sight of a girl bleeding profusely at the arm, her sleeve quickly staining with a deep crimson. "Oh god…" he breathed out. His first aid skills were pretty rusty and the added shock of seeing so much blood didn't help. Muttering to himself, he tried to remember the steps he'd learned during his training. "Apply pressure to staunch the bleeding..." What came after that? For now, he'd just try that. "Does anybody have a clean cloth?"

Christian Cadwell

Staring out at the old fence of chain as the bus passed by, Christian couldn't help but feel the slightest bit intimidated by the buildings presence. Even if it wasn't actually haunted, he could definitely see why people fantasied over the idea that it was. The stone that made up the walls appeared as if it would break apart at any moment, the path leading up to it was rugged and making him bounce in his seat as if he was on an old roller coaster. and all that was needed was a heavy downpour of rain and some thunder and the place would be at home in a horror flick. Instinctively gulping, Christian reached into his sweater pocket to pause his music, then slowly took out his earphones and began wrapping it around the device. After all, he didn't plan to listen to it during the tour of the place, and he considered within eyesight close enough for him to pack up.

Suddenly, a large shift in momentum flung Christian to the right suddenly, and upon realizing the situation attempted to quickly raise his hands over his head to protect his most vital organ. However, in that small window of time he had he panicked, and instead of doing what was logical first he quickly slide his ipod into his pocket, and that brief moments of hesitation is what caused his head to bounce off of the window with a loud thud as the bus crashed onto the ground.

The first few moments after the impact were complete blackness, and as Christian slowly forced his eyes open he was greeted by nothing but a blur. He could feel his head aching from the impact before, and as he turned over and tried to push himself off the ground, his right elbow buckled under the weight of his body. Letting out a groan of pain, he forced himself to his knees, then used his left arm to grab a hold of one of the seats and pull himself up, finding it difficult to put pressure on his right foot. Staring at the ground as he blinked furiously in an attempt to regain his sight, Christian tried to piece together everything that had happened. The bus had tipped over, that much was obvious. His injuries, while painful as hell, didn't seem overly serious. He had guessed he was pretty lucky to be seated on the right side of the bus and no one was across from him. Otherwise, he'd have been tossed around like a rag doll and slammed with a much harder force.

The thought of luck suddenly sent Christian into a panic, quickly patting down his pockets to feel for his ring. The impact had sent many things flying, and it was very possible that it had been dislodged as well. Just as he felt despair creeping up on him, he mad contact with a small lump in his left pocket, eliciting a long sigh of relief from the boy. Considering the situation it seemed like something silly to get worked up over, but it was something very special to him. It wasn't related to anyone he knew or any event that made an impact on him, but he really liked it and it made him feel safe when he wore it. In fact, Christian briefly thought about putting it on right now, however quickly decided against it. Why? Well, he assumed the danger was already over, so putting on his good luck charm now would be a bit of a waste.

Once his vision began to return, he was quickly able to focus on the sounds around him. Students screaming out in pain, screaming for help for their injured friend, or just screaming out of pure fear of the chaos that had enveloped them. "This isn't what I wanted. I didn't want a mess today." Christian mumbled to himself as he tried his best not to panic. There goes his plans of having fun. What was he supposed to do now? Should he assist some of the injured? But what if he can't help them and only wastes time? Sure he had basic first aid training, but right now he doubted he could accurately remember it all. As all of his doubts and worries began to sink in, Christians breathing began to quicken in pace.

"Focus Christian! you can do this." Taking in a deep breath and then breathing it out slowly multiple times to regain his composure, Christian began to think of what to do in a situation like this. He didn't trust himself enough to try and help everyone who was injured, but he knew that the best course of action was to clear as many people out of the bus as possible. The door to the bus was laid against the ground they'd slammed against, so Christian turned his attention to the emergency door located at the back. Getting past so many people from where he was would have been a hassle, especially with his injured foot, so instead he tried to throw his voice over the panicked voices of his peers to call out to a boy he noticed closer to the exit. "We need to clear out as many people as possible and get out right away!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. "Open the emergency door and start getting everyone out fast!"

Lilly Trian

Lilly tried to think over what she should do about the book, and realized that if she just put it back on the ground, nobody would know it was hers. Yes that was the-Oh god, whats happening!? Lilly's bubble popped as she felt the bus suddenly tip, but mostly, it was the sight of he ground suddenly becoming a lot closer to the window than it had been just a few seconds ago. Screaming Lilly threw her hand up in protection, the book in her grasp as she protected her face. With a sudden lurch as the buss connected to the ground, Lilly felt her entire body fall painfully onto what was now the bottom of the bus. Lilly gasped for air, but felt the last remains of her lung's goodness leave her as she felt the girl that had been sitting beside her. From how the girl felt, ugh, it was like being crushed by a 120lbs bag of lead. "I....Get...Off.....P-Please." Lilly managed to rattle out from her strained through. She could feel her bag, which had been tossed around on the floor below her, also get crushed by the girl.

Lilly mourned over her chips and other snacks quietly as she realized her neck was rather uncomfortable. 'Well yes, I guess it would be uncomfortable after being thrown about during a bus wreck.' Lilly ignored her thoughts as she got used to the weight, filling her chest up with air slowly and calmly. Looking to the side, Lilly realized her head had landed right on the side of the Lyanna and the Seven Gods book. Lilly glared at it as much as her personality allowed, coming out as a doleful glance. Feeling tears come up, Lilly realized that her entire body was sore and the small cracks on the window had scratched her up, along with a few broken peices. Lilly stopped 'glaring' at the book as harshly, "It probably would have been worse without it." Lilly wanted to sigh in resignation, but her voice was already small and airy, so she didn't need to give another reason for her lack of air.

Lilly realized that she was still being crushed by the girl she had been sitting beside, not having known her beforehand. Wiggling, Lilly tried to get out of the hold as subtly as possible, hoping to not aggravate the woman and any of her injuries. "Mi-Miss, please get off me."

Aaron Franc

Aaron was used to having his face in a book, mind you that was in the metaphorical sense, However upon the bus rolling, his face was slammed into it. Aaron was quite happy that the writer had chosen paperback rather than hardback. There was a good amount of give but still it hurt a bit. When the bus had come to a complete stop he looked worridly down at his legs. Quickly he flexed his toes, moved his feet, legs, everything was working. Nothing was broken, Thank God. He slowly got up with a grunt. "Ughh I feel like I got trampled by another lineman, the schute comes to mind..." He listend to hear what most of the people were saying. Mr Erickson asked the obvious question, "Sir most of us are shaken up...but everyone looks like..." Looking around he could see a few people had cuts, some were bleeding bad but honestly...for a bus crash...it wasn't all too bad. "Everyone looks alright considering the situation...lets get out of this bus...someone check the bus driver."

Bus wreckage

Hearing some form of educated instruction other than screaming, Hiro would look behind him at the emergency door, Opening it he would peer out of the bus, letting out a sigh "Doors open, start dragging out everyone, or walking out. unless you are dead. then just sorta stay there.." he would yell out down the length of the bus, as he slowly jumped out of the bus, his feet hitting the grass with a soft thud, turning his gaze through the door he would reach in and drag his bag out and put it on the ground, looking around he would see that they were near the Asylum. Hiro would debate going to see if the guides there and to ask for help.

Standing outside the bus he would feel a cool breeze wash over him, it would feel somewhat ominous

The sound of his students crying and shouting from pain and fear echoed off the metallic walls of the bus causing the teacher to panic slightly. He helped a few students up who didn't seem too badly injured before checking on the bus driver, who was not as lucky as most of the students. His eyes widen in horror as he saw the limp mans body resting against the pinned door, neck bent at an odd and inhuman angle. Shake off the horror of the discovery he tried to regroup the students, nodding to his assistant he let out a breath. "Right now we need to get of the buss and treat the injured." He said finding his thrown bag and slinging it over his shoulder. Inside he had some first aid supplies along with water and some snacks. His mother had gotten him into the habit of being prepared for anything. Unfortunately the most he had prepared for was the bus breaking down... not crashing. "Oh my gosh, were trespassing, WERE TRESPASSING....maybe I can be their spawn?"

"I....um." Gretel looked down at her wrapped wrist. What was she to say at a time like this...oh. "I don't have aids." Gretel looked at him with a blank stare as she kept her wrist to her chest. A laughter sounded in her ear, as a little boy giggled and snickered. Grimacing she lowered her eyes and made her way off the bus. "Thank you." She muttered before passing her. Gretel wasn't sure if she was the third or fourth off, but she could see students sitting down to catch their breath, and others that started taking pictures of the clouds. With vicious winds, Gretel looked up toward the sky. "I should have stayed home today." Gretel sighed, pulling out her phone. There were no bars, as if she needed any. Her earbuds had gotten busted with the crash, and the constant sound of giggling was making her a bit anxious. It was already hard to breather, now it felt like a million fingers touching her. This was a bad place to be, a very bad place, Gretel wasn't really scared, more like worried for the others, and by others she did not mean the class she traveled with. They had casually drove on to their land without permission, and now their going to trespass further. Gretel walked over toward the warn down building. "We've passed three strikes already haven't we..." First was the bus ride, the bump should have given off a clue. Second was the swerving, as if there was a "person" that would jump in front of a moving bus. The third was Hans appearing with a giggle. "Sorry." Gretel stated as she bowed her head to the abandon building.

Mika vaguely heard someone talking and saying something about her while she was being moved and then she felt something put pressure on her head and moving her again. She slowly opened her eyes and saw a blurry teacher carrying her outside of the bus. "what the.." She murmured almost inaudibly and everything faded to black. She felt her head and body rest onto the ground. She moaned and let out a cough. Slowly beginning to stir. Slowly feeling the pain echoing from her head and sending a chill down her spine. She started recognizing the murmur of students and the howls of wind and she eventually managed to open an eye to grey blurriness with a face suddenly appearing right in front of her eyes.

Hiroshi would take a seat outside the bus, his head resting against the cool metal of the bus, looking up at the sky as it blackened and grew more sinister. "
This is some horror movie worthy moment right now" He would sigh as he looked over to the person whom had been placed near him, she had a gash that had been bandaged. it looked like she was coming round. lifting his hand up and running his fingers through his hair, he would laugh slightly "Just my dumb luck to get in an accident at a asylum" Seeing the girl was awake. "morning." he would mumble as he wiped his lenses.

Looking around he would see people being brought out from the wreck, He would feel abit of guilt go through him, but also he didnt see a point in helping, there was not much Hiro could really do for anyone. resting his head back against the bus, he would watch as rain slowly fell onto his glasses. "
it gets better I see"

Mika slowly started to hear the words and sounds everyone was saying. "morning." Came a very clear voice. She shot up in panic only to be welcomed with more pain to her head and blurry vision. She clutched her head, hoping to ease the pain, but felt it unusually warm, and slightly wet. Recognizing the dreadful feeling, she shot backwards hitting her head on the bus. "Son of a... Ugh..." She turned to see the senior starring up at the sky and with rain falling on his glasses in a strange way, making him seem almost unnatural.

She observed him for a moment, trying to trace his train of thought. "it gets better I see" She furrowed her brow for a moment, trying to block out the rain, before relaxing them because of the pain it brought on. Mika sat there trying to figure out this guys way of thinking. He wouldn't give off anything clear about his thinking other than that he frankly could not find a single fuck to give. "The hell happened?" She asked hoping to get a response out of this guy.

"the hell happened" The girl beside hiro would speak towards him, Looking at her, he would take his jersery off and toss it to her, "bus crashed, you were hurt, teacher brought you out here." Hiro would let out a sigh and wipe the droplets of water from his face, as he leaned against the bus, reaching towards his chest he would pull out his necklace and fiddle with it. some of the rain water that built up in his hair would send small droplets sliding down the side of his face.

"you should take it easy, you look Hurt ya know" His voice would sound somewhat mono tonal and distant. but he would be trying his best to seem somewhat like a human being. it was clear Hiro wasnt that accustomed to being in social situations, spending most of his time in study and such

Israel let out a soft whimper in reply as Nathan and Mr. Erikson helped patch up her wounded arm. She attempted to move her shoulder, but her arm quickly screamed out in protest and she just cradled it gently to her body. "Th- Thank you..." She murmured quietly, wiping away the tears on her face with her good arm. The sudden -what looked to be- shift in scenery outside caught Israel's attention and her green eyes widened in alarm.

"It's so dark outside." It wasn't just dark. Suddenly, the old mental institution was in a lot better condition than it looked before, and that thought left a nasty, twisting feeling in the pit of her stomach. What was going on?

Israel slowly began making her way to the front of the bus to try and get out, but her body was completely unaccustomed to the pain running the her arm, and it protested and complained with each . The worse injuries she'd ever had were a sprained ankle a busted toe. She could say, hands down, without a doubt that those two had nothing on what she was feeling now. Stopping halfway, she turned curiously to see if Nathan was coming or not.

Jaron slowly stood up and he shook his head for a moment. He was still trying to collect himself. He seemed to be better then some of the students. He slowly walked through the bus, checking on everybody on the bus. He then saw Dani. He smiled softly at her as he walked up to her, he made sure he was out of her way of course. "You alright Dan?" He asked with his normal grin.

Outside The Bus

Jerrit made his way out of the bus and followed the other students and teachers. He looked down and saw his shirt was stained with dark red blood, it had stopped flowing out of his n so that is a good sign. Jerrit looked around, the asylum looked creepy and everything just felt eerie and.....wrong, but this made him a little curious the situation was like the ones he read online that would keep him up at night maybe when we get back ill make a cool story about this and post it online Jerrit thought to himself as he took out his notebook and pencil to start documenting the trip. while he was writing he looked up and saw that Mika's eyes had opened "Hey Mika, are you ok?".
