That Weird girl

Reach Out to the Truth
Rebecca Chambers had believed that this mission would be a quick and easy one. Bravo team was investigating the animal attacks and cannibalistic rumors and they were in a helicopter heading to the Raccoon forest, she was little nervous since this was her first big time mission. Chambers did hope that she could be useful to her team and maybe help with medicine and knowledge about the body. The helicopter experienced engine failure and began to spin out of control as Rebecca tried to grab onto something to brace herself for the crash.

The helicopter ended up crashing in the middle of the forest and Rebecca hit her head hard but not enough to cause brain damage luckily. She was knocked out cold for a bit before slowly opening her eyes and groaning holding her head. She didn't think anything was too badly injured which was good since she had a job to do. Enrico seemed to already be up and were firing at some weird dogs outside of the wreckage, Rebecca quickly pulled out her handgun and joined him shooting the dogs.

"You're alive Chambers," Enrico said without glancing at her, "good. What about the others? We need to contact Captain Wesker and tell him that we crashed and some weird mutant dogs are attacking...can you do that?"

Rebecca nodded and pulled out a radio seeing if it would still work. Enrico handed her his radio when the dogs seemed to stop coming and then he prayed to god that some of the team were alive. "Got it captain," Rebecca said and tried to contact Wesker.

Albert Wesker had been anticipating something like this to happen and his plan to betray STARS was coming into effect soon. He also wanted to use his secret weapon which was a vial of the T virus, he would finally become a god. He picked up his radio from his belt and nodded, "we will be right there..." Wesker wasted no time in organizing the STARS team. "Where are we going sir?" Chris Redfield asked and would clearly follow Wesker to the end of the earth because he admired him.

"We got a recuse mission," Albert explained cooly, "Bravo team is in trouble...Vickers you start the engines." Brad Vickers nodded and went to start the helicopter up. Jill Valentine crossed her arms and listened nodding and Barry glanced around nervously as if something was bothering him and he was going to do something bad to the team later on. "Whats wrong Barry?" Jill asked him cocking her head. Barry shook his head, "Just niveous Jill...you know I wanna be there still for Moira and Polly." Jill understood that even though she did not have any children of her own and put a hand on Barry shoulder patting it, "I'll make sure you turn out ok." Barry smiled a little.

"Of course, consider it done."

The job was never easy, He knew it very well how things can escalate quickly especially when he was informed about the rumors regarding a certain virus that could turn any living being into a mindless flesh eating husks which was quite intriguing to his discovery. So intriguing in fact that he would study the data that he had acquired from one of his relatives who had an old cd that belonged to his aunt who disappeared sadly enough. He wasn't exactly close to her but he knew that bringing answers to her disappearance might give everyone closure. Though, Mark isn't a researcher nor a scientist which meant that he could only gather so much conclusion from the files. Well, it didn't matter that much but he knew it would be useful if what he had learned was true. It was definitely out of date and most of the information were damaged, possibly when his aunt tried to smuggle it back home. With that in mind, he proceeded with his mission to retrieve any findings regarding umbrella's involvement in these illegal experiments.

As he boarded the chopper with the rest of the bravo team, everything was going smoothly right until the engine starts to fail. He knew that it wasn't going to be an easy land. And so, he held onto the frame of the door as his eyes searched for a way to get out safely while others may be focused on bracing for the impact. Before they crashed onto the ground, the supposed male jumped out of the chopper and grabbed onto one of the trees, hugging it. For a moment, he struggled and was slipping but he quickly slid down to a sturdy branch, breaking his fall. It was definitely a risky move even for him but he didn't want to end up crashing with the rest. As his ears caught a loud "boom" coming ahead of him, he knew that the chopper had finally crashed.

As he stood on the branch, he pulled out his binoculars and checked the wreckage. When his eyes saw the bodies that were lying near the wreckage, the man decided to linger for a bit, making sure whether they were still alive. It was hard to tell as he was miles away from the crash.

"Well, looks like I don't have to make up a reason to split up." Mark muttered to himself as his eyes continued to stare at the crash before he turned his binoculars around to scan his surroundings. There was a mansion not far from the forest which meant that he was on the right track. "Lucky me." He smiled at his discovery, knowing how close he was to achieving his goals.

It didn't take long for him to gather his bearings and eventually started making his way to the mansion. Though, his path wasn't exactly smooth. Most of the time, he had to dodge past a couple of awful looking dogs. The way their flesh just smelled and looked rotten had caught him off guard a little. It was definitely something he would have to get used to.

Even though, he may be one of the first to enter the mansion but he made sure he left most of the stuff untouched as he didn't want to give anyone the idea that he had gone through those halls or at least not when he was still alone in that mansion. It didn't take long for him to discover what the data had told him. There were a lot of infected and taking them down wasn't as easy as they always seemed to find a way to get back up. Most doors were locked but he could pick some of the locks. Though most seem to have different keys. And eventually he found a room that had some files and books lying around, he decided to give it a read while he was there. Venturing alone was alright for a while but he eventually was stumped since it seemed that there were some stuff missing including the keys. He had no option but to wait for his team to regroup.

With the radio giving static, Mark decided to use it while he still had the time to do so, considering there wasn't any infected trying to kill him in that room. Bringing up the radio transmitter to his face, he tried to contact with the rest of his team. "Can anyone hear me? Enrico, Rebecca, come in! It's Mark, over." As he waited for an answer, he stared at the clock, watching as it continued to tick. It was almost dusk which meant that staying outside would be even more dangerous. "Come on..." Muttered Mark as he gently paced around the room with the radio transmitter in hand.

Asher had been keeping a close eye on Albert Wesker. He wasn't the biggest fan of the man, but he certainly didn't show it. He treated the man with the same mood that he did with the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. He's far too arrogant. He's going to be a liability. This was a common thought that Asher had when working with the man. However, he knew that he could not take down the man. Not only was he protected by others in Umbrella, Asher knew he would be unable to kill Wesker by himself.

Asher was leaning against the wall, he had been watching his "team" interact with one another. The young man then focused his attention on Chris when he spoke. Asher certainly liked Chris more than the supposed captain. He was loyal, to a fault, and definitely had an affinity for combat. He would make an excellent candidate for Umbrella. The Israeli thought with a smirk. It also helped that he found Redfield to be easy on the eyes. Which, of course, Asher would never admit out loud to anyone. "Rescue mission? What did they say happened in the distress call?" The dark-haired man arched an eyebrow at Wesker, a playful glint was in his eyes. He definitely knew that the man was involved in what was going on with Bravo Team. A sacrifice, I suppose. However, was it a necessary one? He pondered. He truly did feel sorry for the lot and he was honest when he thought that many would've made great candidates for Umbrella. In spite of that, he knew that any one of them could be a liability.
