Recruitment Help

Hello, I have built an RP that I think is pretty solid. However, I don't seem to have anyone interested. I made an interest check, but no one responded and very few people even looked at it. How do I better recruit people and drive traffic to the thread? I would really like this thread to take off. The link is in my siggy if that makes a difference to anyone! <img alt=" :) " data-emoticon="" height="20" src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=" :) " width="20" /> Thanks guys!

Alright I'd say first things first the interest check makes the roleplay seem like it suffers a bit from split-personality.

I don't know if I'm supposed to be focusing on the murder mystery , the new taxes, or the war going on.

Second the whole murder mystery bit might just not appeal to people in the fantasy genre. I rarely dabble in that specific section - preferring Urban Fantasy or Realism with Fantasy undertones.

So that might be part of the issue right there.

But the best advice I can give you is this - one to narrow the focus a little to just one thing.

Second just get out there and start networking. Ask your friends if they know anyone would be interested in this. Keep bumping the interest check.

Try to reach out to people you've roleplayed with before. The worst that happens is they don't respond back but at least give it a go.
