The Mountain IragornHere we have the large mountain that the kingdom is located in. It towers over many other kingdoms and has a great lookout tower located near the top and one towards the middle on top a small cliff. To get to this mountain it is said to follow the winding river upstream, the river seems to pass through the entire state and everyone knows that following it upstream leads to the "villainous" kingdom. It is surrounded by a bunch of smaller mountains and hills and of course a large forest/swamp once you get closer towards the base of the mountain. There are also many hidden entrances into the mountains secret and underground labyrinth. These entrances are not easily accessible and are well hidden, most of the entrances have some way of protecting others from accidentally finding them or entering them and most have a guardian, whether it be a beast or a minion that one of the residences commands. There are also plenty of traps and magical surveillance near and around the area along with a way to communicate to the residence at certain points when getting closer to the base of the mountain.

The mountain isn't just home to people living inside, there are many creatures, demons, and other dangerous things that prevent normal people from getting to close, these creatures roam around free to live, hunt, and make the forest there home. There also lives people and smaller villages near and around the mountain considering the resources, water, and food are plenty in this area. These smaller villages have an agreement with the residence. In exchange for living near the mountain where they don't have to worry too much about where to find food, resource, and protection. They must give a small percentage monthly of their resource and food to the residence inside the mountain. If they choose not to, they will lose protection from monsters, demons, and other villages coming to raid what the have. Those who wish for protection will often get it and will also be given minions to help them in collecting and act as a watchful eye for the king and advisors.

The Castle IceMeetNestled in between the two highest points of the mountain sits the castle and the main entrance inside the kingdom that most people who do now know of the secret entrances would take. There are also walls and a gate, that block people from climbing up the mountain to this point and can only be opened from the inside or finding an elaborate way to get around it. The castle is surrounded by water and brushes to prevent people from charging in or taking some kind of object and breaking through the walls. The inside is like a mansion with a gothic and somewhat old-fashioned design. The castle is mostly for appearance as the rooms for the king, advisors, and other inhabitants are underground, which is accessible through a long spiral staircase leading downwards. The castle is home to most of the servants, and other minions that do not get an underground room to themselves.

There are many rooms inside the castle and most are used to house people, but there are some additions like the only dining hall and kitchen being inside the castle. It is huge and can hold a lot of cooks and is usually filled with tons of different ingredients and ways to cook, bake, and prepare food as some of the residences can be picky and have huge appetites. The gallery is also located inside the castle, many artistic treasures are here along with some of the creations from the residence will be displayed here. There is also the ballroom for events and gatherings, this place is often used to celebrate achievements or to host parties for someone's birthday. It is also used as a gathering room for discussion and announcements to the kingdom. A somewhat soundproof music room, considering there are a lot of people and minions who live here some are bound to play music and need a place to go. The music room is also where practice is held for orchestra members that wish to play for events. There are many other rooms inside the castle.

The Eidolon Order
The mountain has many inhabitance and villages that live by or on the mountain, these villages usually strike a deal with the residence for protection. But the Eidolon group merely just support the residence and act as scouts and the second group of guards who live outside the castle walls.

They are a small group of individuals who pledged to protect and somewhat idolize what the residence of the mountain do. Which is create an area where most moral standards are thrown out the window. The society allows for demons, monsters, and the creation and practice of more taboo magic. Because of this the Eidolon Order decided to live beside the mountain and is slowly growing in people and creating a bigger and better home for the people that live there. They were one of the first groups of people to come from a neighboring kingdom and asked to live beside the mountain. They have grown quite large now and have created this order. The order is like a coming of age ceremony for most, but it does not require that they become assassins. The group is simply a tribute of respect for the king and his advisors, for allowing them to leave and create a home for themselves where they can create and live in peace, without others passing judgment and possible threatening or take action against them.

The group itself is peaceful and often roams and scouts the forest for trespassers. They do not kill on sight and simply warn others that the area is filled with danger and that they will take action against those that wish to try and cause harm to the king and his people. Once they have given the warning any further harm that comes up outside the castle walls will often be dealt with by the order. The members that choose to take on assassins roles are born and at a certain age they are given a choice of either living a normal life within the village walls or being raised inside a temple to practice their skills and one day join the order. Those that do accept will be raised in the temple alongside their parent, but the child themselves will go through rigorous training in order to meet the high level that the council holds as a standard requirement.

The village itself is located just behind the huge mountain and is usually covered in snow, it is hidden and has no path leading towards it. It is home to a couple hundred people that go about their lives like any normal village wood, creating a small society. Those that choose not to take part in the order simply work to maintain and keep the village thriving. Having shops, creating farms, building new housing, and even going outside the village to offer a trade to other places. The temple is located up the mountain and requires you to climb a long flight of stairs, this acts as a test of endurance for the those that wish to join the order. Once they climb the stairs the temple is located in a wide clearing that holds training rooms for their students and also a room for people who wish to pray to their gods or the king and advisors of the mountain.

The people here hold a high respect for anyone inside the castle on top the mountain, even the servants and a few of the minions. If any of them were to come to the village they would be greeted warmly and treated with whatever they desired, whether it be food, resources, or students that they wish to take up the mountain.

Forest of Iragorn
The forest is a vast and mysterious place filled with beasts, demons, and monsters of varying shapes and sizes. The forest also seems to always be dimly lit as trees cover the sun once you get closer towards the base of the mountain. It can be hard to traverse on your own as there are many things protecting strangers from delving further towards the mountain and even more obstacles once you get to climb the mountain. From the Eidolon order assassinating those who wish to harm the residents of the mountain, to beasts guardian certain areas and eating those who dare get to close. There is a path that slowly leads towards the mountains main entrance and there are small stone pillars with circles cut out of them that act as communication and surveillance for the castle. If a person were to step towards this pillar and speak to it, whoever is watching it at the time may speak back to the person near the stone pillar, even though they are in the castle. Some of these pillars are also traps that can be activated, though if you follow the path right and don't try and stray off from it. You will not come into contact with any of the fake pillars that can be triggered.

Coliseum
The great Coliseum sits just outside on one of the cliffs near the top of the mountain and a small walk away from the castle. The Coliseum itself is still a work in progress being built, but it serves its purpose still as it can hold many subjects and the arena area is clear of debris. The purpose of this arena is for others to fight, either for glory or just to win over an argument. Most of the fights between the Emporer, Advisors, Knights, and Overseer will be held here so that there will be no damage inside the castle or around the mountain area. Most fights and arguments will eventually lead to someone saying "why don't we settle this in the arena?" and unless the one being challenged refuse. All arguments will be settled in the arena. Though if the said person refuses they must think of some other way for the argument to be settled, whether it be a compromise or different challenge. The arena itself has many different objects that minions can place in and around the area for specific fights. Such two gunners needing lots of cover to fight, or a pit circling the outer rim for two melee fighters to push the other into and win.

Alter to the Mountain SpiritThe Alter that houses the mountains spirit, the spirit that helps keep the mountain safe from any harm and helps protect those who inhabit it. The mountain spirit has helped create this glorious alter for herself and acts as her room, alongside her vessel and translator. The two of them have made their home inside the kingdom of Icemeet and have talked with the king about living inside the mountain beside them and their friends. The king has agreed to house them and has given them there very own room that is filled with trees, flowers, and other flora and fauna that could not be found outside the mountain area.

The center area holds a clear pond with a magical waterfall that floats in the air just above the pound. The spirit will usually be found relaxing in the water or creating flowers and helping the flora grow inside her room. Her vessel and translator can be found alongside her helping with what she can do as a somewhat normal human. The water that seems to flow endlessly from the rock above the pond, does not splash when it comes crashing down into the pond instead it seems to gently flow into the pond though it does not overflow. The water itself is said to heal most wounds and help people recover from injuries and stress, though the pond is only accessible to those that the guardian sees as friends and most minions are not allowed inside this room.

The spirit also helps keep the mountain alive and clean, making sure all food, resources, and even animals are kept in a healthy balance. She controls when food is ripe from the trees outside in the forest, she helps regulate animals desires to hunt. Making sure no animal will get close to extinction. She uses her powers to heal any trees and plants that have been harmed by outsiders that try to harm the kingdom. She is not a fighter and can only help ripen food that grows in the forest, cause animals to mate sooner, create trees to block areas in the forest, and heal those who enter her pond.

magic_girl_by_gjschoolart-dbgsvgg.jpg
The spirit of the mountain and forest was very hesitant on allowing other to come carve out the inside and make a home near her forest, though after the kings many tries. He was able to convince the spirit by giving her someone that she could teach and take care of and use as a vessel to interact with others. The girl's name was Mari, she lived in a nearby village that loved and prayed to the spirit. She became devoted to praying and doing everything she can to help the spirit of Iragorn. The spirit saw this girl a worthy successor to help protect her forest and mountain and considering she trusted the king the spirit thought she could also trust that the king and her forest could live in peace together. The spirit and Mari are friends to very few people inside the kingdom, mostly the king, advisors, knights, and a few maids and butlers. As they respect the forest and do what they can to not interfere with the natural balance.

The spirit took on the girl and began to teach her ways of protecting the forest and its inhabitants along with magic that could be used to heal wounds, create trees that produced food, even create animals to keep a balance of prey and predator in the forest. Mari slowly began to grow older and began to show signs of becoming more than just a human. Her features didn't age and she stayed young, but she began to grow horns, her eyes changing color, her ears growing longer and her skin turning into a lighter shade. She was a worthy vessel indeed. The spirit is happy to know that if she were to ever fade away or somehow lose her life, that the forest will still be protected by her Mari.

Darklord Labrotory (Xevron room)A grand laboratory built with the idea of 5 different rooms each with there own objective. The first room you enter is the grand library where most people would store their favorite pieces of literature, or perhaps a book they've written and wish to share with anyone who picks it out from its shelf, or even books of knowledge, lessons, equations, and anything that can be used to help someone learn something new. This library is usually free of activity as most of the minions do not like to read or even know how to read. But for those of you who can, feel free to search and pick out a book to take with you. But be sure to bring it back, and always keep the books ALPHABETIZED.

The other rooms serve a similar purpose but each different from the others. There is room for reanimating the living and making them into undead, as bringing someone back to life fully has not been discovered yet. The next room is for summoning rituals, such as using the basic rule of alchemy and doing an equivalent exchange, or perhaps you found a ritual that needs a place for chanting and blood sacrifice? You can go to this room, be sure to put a do not disturb sign if the process can not be interrupted. Next is the room for if you wish to construct a golem of sorts, or perhaps put together some kind of minions out of parts you found lying around and a soul you "found" too. You can do that here. The last room is Xevron room, where he has his own chambers attached to it where he keeps his personal possessions and a trophy room for particular accomplishments he's proud of or wants to remember. Please ask before entering and do not go snooping around rooms that aren't yours.

There are 4 current apprentices that live with Xevron and acts as his students, the apprentices have their own dormitories and test subjects have a cell block. Apprentices have a fatality rate from prisoner escapes, Demon summoning gone wrong, Undead not obeying, magical backlash, or backstabbing from particularly ambitious apprentices. Xevron will delegate any work he's not interested on to his apprentices.

Academy of Homemaker (Nyssia's academy)Academy of Homemaker is a school organized by Nyssia after her retirement and immigration to Icemeet. The Academy mainly targets female pupils striving to be perfect housewife, maid, or servant. However, it has recently opened a quota for male pupils aiming to be a butler or servant as well. While it is not exactly popular, for commoners that aim to work as servants in the castle, the Academy is one of the quickest paths to the job.

At any time of the year, the academy is resided by 300-400 pupils with about 50 tutors and staffs at any time of the day. The curriculum includes two years of basic training and one year of advanced training. Those aiming to be a maid or butler must go through two years of advanced training instead of one. While the academy itself is not free, tuition can be paid by offering service for the academy or the castle's infrastructure for two years.

The basic training of the curriculum covers homemaker ability such as sweeping, washing clothes, home cooking, sewing, gardening, reading, and economy of the lower market to name a few. Advanced training may include some practice in healing magic, illusion, or beast taming to entertain guests or increase efficiency at work. Every subject has its own teacher, while advanced training has their own special tutors, who pick their pupils from the second year students. The headmaster and founder rarely teach, but talented students may be lucky enough to catch their eyes and receive private lessons.

The Lake
The Domain of Egozephaloth of The Deep
------------- O -------------

The Lake is one of the more... hidden spaces of the castle. Down and down below you need to travel, traversing hundreds of stairways and a seemingly infinite amount of carved and natural tunnels. For each path not leading to it, there are tens leading into dead ends far below the world. Few use these pathways, for they know it to be folly for most. If one should find themselves near the end, having felt the air chill and become thick with fog and noxious gasses - they would stumble upon a very eery sight. A vast underground cave, with a ceiling reaching over a hundred feet high at times, filled at the bottom with a luminescent glowing pool. Excess seawater, underground rivers, toxic sludge from the laboratories far above - all mix and fill this space. Above the water there is a constant low mist, obscuring and obstructing a view of what might hide beneath the surface. The area is quiet, dark, the water seemingly never moving... save for one spectacle.

A vast ship quietly moves across the water. It's sides and back covered in tall glass windows that flicker with subdued lights from inside. Few know what goes on behind them. Some whisper of secret histories and knowledge, hidden away from all eyes and minds. Some say, terrible magic that transforms men and women into monsters and tools for its dark captain. Few even come to question the fact that the ship is there at all, in a cave, miles beneath the surface of the earth - in a pool that does not seem to have any exits. To those in the know, this space holds the secrets of the Castle. The Histories. The old deeds and tales that come from legends long since forgotten. They know that it is protected by more than just the captain. Things that live beneath the water. The air itself lethal to most mortals. Spells. Traps. All set there by a cautious and dangerous Historian.

The Mountain Spirit's SpawnsThe mountain spirit also has many abilities to create life, as said previously. She is able to create animals, creatures, and all kinds of flora and fauna, to help keep the natural balance of the forest intact. Though she can also create beings that only live inside the forest grounds. These beings look as though they are humans covered in all kinds of bark, leaves, vines, and many other things. They carry around bows mostly. These bows can be laced with toxins that can paralyze or somewhat daze people. It does not cause harm and if a person were to be hit, the arrow burst on impact to apply a powder or a liquid to the person's skin. The mountain spirit has also made some forest beings that simply use their fists or bigger brutes made of bark or entire trees even. They have very distinct features and are shown to have no vision. The theory is that the mountain spirit is able to create and control these beings, up to 5 archers simultaneously, she could control up 3 brutes or one massive one that towers over the forest. Though she is a peaceful spirit that only wishes to protect the forest, she is known to create paths to block intruders and beings to help protect and attack those that wish to cause harm.

They are also said to appear to guide those that wish to talk with the emperor or for those that want a guide to lead them through the forest towards the base of the mountain. Once they reach the base or an area just outside the forest. The beings lose the ability to proceed further and any attempt to do so will be met with failure, such as their bodies growing limp and lifeless or returning into the earth from whence they came.

There have also been theories that anything inside the forest can also be manipulated or used as a sort of building block to these beings. Such as stone pillars being used inside brutes, so that if they are attacked they could activate the pillars magical trap to help attack their enemies. Archers have also been seen using the magic from these pillars to create arrows that have some kind of magical tracking and can be used against magic users to track and arrows seem to home in on the enemy if they are using any form of magic while an arrow is laced with magical energy.
