Title: Leading Knight/Emporers Guardian
Name: Katherine Yorsck
Age: 176
Role and service: Knight: Helps defends the kingdom and acts as a second pair of arms and eyes for an advisor.
Bio:
Katherine was and still is the first knight to the emperor, she helps lead all other roles as she was one of the first people that found the area where the kingdom now resides. She was a normal knight that longed for battle, fighting for coin, in arenas for glory, or just being a hired assassin. She had taken the role of a hired hand for the Emperor, but slowly they grew on her as wherever they went there was always bloodshed, treasure, food, and whatever else she needed. Her arms were severed during battle and a cleric was not able to save her, though she died she was revived later on. She was brought back as an undead along with her arms being suspended by magic, she says it is the best thing to happen to her as it allows her to swing her sword faster then she could ever before she became undead. She chose to not take on the role of an advisor cause her heart yearns for battle whether it be sparing with some of her fellow knights, or actual bloodshed defending her kingdom.

Extras: Armor was handcrafted for her and the colors represent her role as head knight and guardian to the emperor. Her arms are severed but act the same as if they were attached, this allows her to swing a blade much faster and for her to never be disarmed by severing her limbs. She also chooses to have her hair cut in that shape to avoid people following her gaze and make her a little more unpredictable.

Weapon and items: She has a collection of various blades in her room and some laying about in the kingdom. The one she carries around usually is the one inscribed with glowing symbols.
1538629900183.png
1538629914603.png[
1538629942811.png

Power(s): Katherine is an undead which makes her nerves pretty numb to pain, allowing her to take many blows to her body without flinching and making her strength much higher as she is not limited by her bodies natural limiters. She can use her strength far beyond the normal 20% humans can. Being a Shoggoth as well, she can soften her body so vibrations on recoil from hitting so hard won't affect her arms and other parts of her body as much.

The sword with symbols that Katherine usually carries was specifically crafted for Katherine, no other person can wield it otherwise they are cursed with the inability to strike someone. It is also very light compared to how it looks, which is perfect for Katherine's style of fighting. It also has the power to be transported into Katherine's grasp. She can throw it and if she chooses to summon it back to her hand it will quickly fizzle into nothing and reappear into Katherine's grasp. She uses this a lot in a battle to keep enemies on their guard. Her gauntlet also has a decorative symbol on it to empower her swings and allows her to go full force without worrying about breaking her armor or blade.

Being part of the Cataclysm, Dark/Cursed Knight, and Fencer class allows Katherine to be an amazing dualist and she excels at 1 on 1 fights. She can attack with devastating strength and power along with being able to charge up a finishing blow over the course of the battle. If she can keep the fight lasting, every successful strike on her opponent will slowly charge up a finisher. This finishing blow is almost like a critical hit, on either the person or their weapon/armor. This also works if she is unarmed or with thrown weapons, if she can land multiple hits at the same time each hit will be divided into a smaller critical hit.

Name: Mednik

Age: 152

Role and service: Advisor; architect

Appearance:
IMG_0167.jpg

Bio: Mednik serves as an advisor to the emperor of the kingdom of Icemeet, which he has helped build. Before he came to live in Icemeet, Mednik was a normal normal human who made a living selling clocks. Though clocks were his trade, he was always more interested in building far grander creations. He was captured by the idea of flying machines, magnificent buildings, and most of all, automatons. When he couldn't achieve his goals with simple machinery, he began his study of magic. After much practice and experimentation, he finally made his first animated metal creation. However, no one was interested in buying his machines. He lived in a town mistrustful of the strange new machinery and even more so of magic.

However, his town one day ended up in conflict with another town. Desperate to make some sort of of profit, Mednik began to build weapons to see if they'd buy them. But again, they denied his offer and in desperation and anger, he made the same offer to the rival town. His treachery was eventually discovered and as punishment for his crimes he was put to death. Before his spirit could pass on, Mednik managed to bind his soul to one of his automatons and escape with as much of his things as he could carry.

When Mednik came across Icemeet, it immediately appealed to him. Its acceptance of all types of magic and appreciation for the arts drew him to stay there and build himself a new life. His knowledge in architecture and magic helped him rise through the ranks to where he is today.

Weapon and items: Detachable wrists-blades, enchanted gun

Power(s): While Mednik would rather not fight that doesn't mean he's not prepared. He is adept at fighting with blades and battle magic, but given the choice he prefers to use his gun and his minions. Mednik made both his gun and minions himself. His little clockwork minions are outfitted both to assist him with his job, and for battle. They each have their own sets of blades and a little gun and while they're not too effective alone, they rarely ever are. Mednik's gun is enchanted so that they carry an added punch and seek out their target.

Servant.jpgName:
Nyssia Wise

Age:
29

Role and service:
Maid. Housekeeper.

Background:
Raised as the fourth daughter of a small baron family in Dreskill Kingdom, it was determined from her birth that Nyssia would be working as a maid for another family. After all, a fourth daughter had small value as a political pawn. She didn't accept the path in front of her easily, however. Once set on an objective, she determined to polish her skill to perfection. She climbed up the ladder of the servant hierarchy at the noble family where she worked until she became the Housekeeper. Then she quit her job. Years later, Nyssia would be known to be a genius servant that only appeared once in a century.

With the money she saved from her Housekeeper job, Nyssia ventured on various occupation. She learnt dressmaking. Cooking. Acting. And when mundane jobs stopped piquing her interest, she took on the school of magic. The magic she learnt was all related to her first job as a Housekeeper. After all, it was her root, and she hated the thought of fighting. Once she mastered magic, she offered private tutelage, not for nobles, but for would-be servants. What she taught was the foundation of being a servant. Proper etiquette around nobles. The school became quite renown two years after its establishment, and by the time she could leave the school management to other teachers, Nyssia decided to return to housekeeping. And not for any regular family.

While the Dreskill royal family may not accept her, Nyssia sent her letter of application to the kingdom next door. A small one, with less robust politic and where she could focus on housekeeping without much of a ruckus. And maybe find someone to settle down with.

Personality:
Standing low on the ladder of society, Nyssia has no privilege to hold arrogance. Her talent in housekeeping and magic does not change that. Instead, it has directed her to be compassionate toward those of similar standing, helping them to raise to their feet. Trained as a noble since birth also makes her considerate to others, able to contain her emotion well to suit the need. Of course, her talent is one of the dominant influence of her attitude. Ambitious to the core, once she is set to achieve something, Nyssia will pursue it with stone headed persistence.

Items:
Nyssia does not usually bring anything resembling a weapon. However, all of her clothes are woven with magical materials and boast amazing abilities.

Power:
Combat wise, Nyssia relies on her talent as a hearth witch when she is inside a familiar building, using furniture and the building itself to protect herself. Her myriad of training makes her less suitable for combat, however. When confronted, Nyssia prefers to escape while dissuading a pursuit.

Title: Darklord
Name: Xevron Staufian
Age: 67 (32 as a Human, 35 as a Demonic Ghost)
Role and service: Overseer. He oversees the Demons, Undead, and other spellcasters in his lab. He also is sent out when a point needs to be made.
Appearance:
1538792226774.png
Biography: Born the 2nd child of a well to do merchant family, Xevron grew up in the shadow his older brother. Since the eldest child inherited, Xevron searched for a way to make a living once his parents died, despite his brother assuring him he'd always have a place with him. One fateful day Xevron came across an old book in the marketplace and when he touched it it reacted to his latent magical power and summoned a demon that went on a rampage. Xevron ran, clutching the book to his chest and locked himself in his room to read the book. Learning the profane lore within, he quickly mastered the basics. Wanting more power, Xevron applied for an apprenticeship to an older mage.

Learning all he could, Xevron still desired more power. So he started experimenting and summoning more powerful Demons. One offered to grant him even greater power if he would sacrifice a blood relative to it. Xevron refused and bound the Demon's power into himself instead. Eventually Xevron pushed too far for power and the backlash from a ritual ripped his soul from his body and his flesh from his bones. Having prepared for that eventuality, a spell Xevron had put in place kept his soul from departing. Grasping at any chance of continued existence, Xevron's ghost possessed his bones, which grew and burned with unholy negative energy as he was reborn as an Undead. The Demon's power within him further twisted his body, twisting his hands into claws and marking him forever as something other than Human.

Xevron currently serves as the Overseer of a lab where new magic is tested, Demons are summoned, Undead are created, and ethics and morals are in short supply. He often is sent out to deal with problems within the kingdom, accompanied by a retinue of Demons, Undead, and the occasional apprentice.

Weapon and items:
Xevron never goes anywhere without his spellbook. Rather than reading from it, he channels the magic to cast the spells within it. The spellbook itself is an artifact capable of growing more pages whenever he needs to add spells. It also acts as his focus for his binding spells and holds most of his power. If Xevron were slain, he could still rejuvenate from his spellbook if the right conditions were met.

Xevron wears tight-fitting armor and a mask that hides his inhuman appearance. They are enchanted for protection and have multiple layers of bindings on them to shield him from magical attacks.

Xevron has access to a variety of magical items, most of which he created. They almost always involve Demons, Necromancy, or the control of others.

Powers: Xevron is currently a Demonic Ghost bound to his magically reanimated and enhanced bones. His existence is the result of Evil magic and thus he is incredibly proficient at casting it. He can reanimate the dead as Undead, drain the life from the living, twist and warp himself and others into monstrous forms, bring forth gouts of Hellfire, summon Demons, bind others to his will, etc.

Summoner: Summoning Demons and other Evil beings.
Warlock: destructive magic based on broken pacts.
Shapeshifter: transforming into monsters.
Binder: Binding the bodies, minds, and souls to his.
Artificer: Creating magic items.
Diabolist: Deals with Demons and draws upon the powers of Hell.
Necromancer: Power over life and death and creation of Undead.
Demon: Infused with Demonic power.
Undead: A Ghost possessing his corpse protected by magic armor.
Overseer: Commander of the Living, Dead, and Demonic.

Erak "Envy" Invidia

Location: | Interacting with: | Mentions:

Name: Erak "Envy" Invidia
Age: 89, considered very young for a Servant of Chaos
Role and service: Overseer of monster-types.
Appearance:
silana-cadou-crowmonster.jpg

Bio:
Erak was born a young boy to a neglectful family. He never received the love and attention any child deserved, and was surrounded by hatred, the vicious words spat at each other by his parents, items thrown and insults fired. He could easily have become Wrath, but the frightened boy never enjoyed the fighting, the crave for a new argument that would lead to blood, no. He was terrified if it, and jealousy was deep-seeded into his soul at the lovely lives the people around him led.

Erak wanted what they had - a happy family, a joyous life, a golden childhood that he could look back onto and smile when he was older, but the time for that was long gone. He looked to the future, deciding that if he couldn't have a good childhood then he would have a good adult life. Growing up poor however, it didn't give him a lot of options and Erak still had little to his name.

Not everything was dull for Erak however, for he discovered his silver tongue early and became very good at talking. He was persuasive and swayed people easily with his words, turning friends on one another and watching them tear apart everything they had because of jealousy, of envy. That was when he began to realise his potential, and it was a great lot of fun watching people tear up the happy relationships Erak never had.

He was soon approached by an entity of chaos, who offered Erak the chance to unlock his full potential and cause more chaos, more destruction, to bring despair to those around. The temptation was overwhelming and Erak agreed, and was transformed into a rawer form of who he was supposed to be, and given a new name - Envy. He has since stopped using Erak as his name and embraces being Envy, Servant of Chaos.

Personality: Envy is a troublemaker and drama-starter above all. He enjoys causing trouble and turning people on each other, especially if they had happy relationships that Envy didn't get the chance to have. He is sleazy and suspicious, slinking around the shadows like a cloud of smoke and popping up around others if they have his interest for any reason. He is persistent and demanding, and it is hard to get him to back down or bugger off once he knows he's got you on the hook of his silver tongue.

Extras: (Optional)

Weapon and items: Envy has few weapons besides the claws on his talons, but they are sharp and he is fast and efficient like any bird of prey, swooping in for the silent kill and taking off before being noticed. He is known to pierce his target's jugular to silence and kill them in an instant, and is rumoured to sometimes eat the eyeballs of his victims.

Power(s):

Silver Tongue: Envy is very persuasive and very good at talking. Once he finds his target's greatest desire, it is easy to hook them onto a one-sided deal that always ends in Envy's favour as he dangles empty promises on a rope just out of reach.
Wraith: Envy is a Wraith and can go between a solid form, and a mass of smoke that travels faster, but in Wraith form, is unable to attack until he turns solid again.

Shadow Dweller - 10

Kraken.jpg
Name: Egozephaloth {Ego} of The DeepAge: Something close to a thousand years oldRole and service: Advisor and Historian of the EmperorAppearance: [true form]
Bio: Ego was born as near as makes no difference a thousand years ago. A deep recess in the darkest pits of the ocean, where the fires of the upper mantle boil the salted water and the pale monsters of the deep roam. On that very day, even the most hungry, the most desperate and the most arrogant of them fled. Rushing away with haste, as a large sack of eggs burst open. One egg, barely a moment before the others. From it rushed out a monster. It saw it's brothers and sisters, still prisoners of their membranes. And it smirked. It already had a brain more developed than most humans, and while being less than a minute old it had thoughts most would never have. Deep, eternal hunger. Vast plumes of greed and desire. The others knew. The one that breaks free first would eat the rest. The one that was strongest. The one that wanted to live most. So had their mother warned them as they were laid. Her telepathic words a warning. As he tore into them he proved her right. His first meal, a victory.
He existed for hundreds of years, feeding, growing, learning, becoming more and more dangerous by the day. Storms became his voice, while the vast waves of the deep blue became tools of extortion. Pirates, Fisherman, Kings, Merchants, Countries... Civilisations. Those who dared travel beyond the sight of the coast would know him. Fear led to wonder. Wonder led to awe. And awe led to worship. No longer interested in destroying their ships, he began demanding treasures and knowledge. He was the undisputed king of this ocean, and it meant nothing. What would he ever do as a commander of fish? What would he amount to? His frustrations grew, as he became aware of his great power, and the limits of his being. Then one day, a pirate called him. Using rituals and magic the pirate offered him an alliance. Service for service. No loyalties beyond that. Rewards for services rendered. Intrigued, more by the magic than anything else, Ego agreed. For years they worked together. The Pirate becoming more powerful and rich, which the Kraken seemed to be happy with his rewards. Then one day the Karken disappeared. Many thought the pirate, who had become a very powerful sorcerer by that time - had killed it.
In reality, the pirate as dead. His corpse eaten after it had drowned. The man that now stood atop the ship - who called for order and who ruled with a fist of iron... that was Ego. Having mastered the arts of Transformation, the beast took the form of the Pirate Lord - and in doing so, took all his powers. For more than four hundred years Ego continued to rule as the undying king of the seas - mastering most forms of magic, and craft - creating and learning and growing in strength. But, like with most things that stay the same - eventually, he grew bored. He could learn no more. At least not... on this ship. And so, when a dark lord contacted him with the offer of service, in return for power... well... he knew what to do. This was a road he was all too familiar with, after all.
Weapon and items: Ego carries no weapons or crafts. All of his power comes from his form.
Power(s): Ego is a master shapeshifter, who has spent so much time in both his forms that he no longer considers either his 'true' form. He casts magic much better while in his 'humanoid' form, and he does far more physical damage in his Kraken form. Beyond that, his summoning skills, mixed with his innate power over the ocean and storms as a Kraken - have allowed him to master the summoning of gale force winds, intense typhoon level rains and directed thunder and lightning with almost no effort. Furthermore, he is a skilled alchemist and makes poisons that few understand, let alone might cure - and he even has some control over the undead. His greatest asset is his careful mind, which studies those around him and quickly divines their weaknesses and strengths. Mix this with a love for history and war, and very few can ever stand against him if he knows they are coming - and even then... they better bring an army.

4b84b6a9e5a4b0108a10697b63e9a2a4.jpgName: Rain Anguishlin
Age: 300
Role and service: Emperor
Personality: Rain is cocky he has a habit of insulting everyone and everything. Speaking his mind for him is easier than bottling everything up. People who've just meet him will probably think of him as an unstable emperor but in reality, he's very sly. That doesn't make him witty though he usually always asks his advisors for help is that they are the only people he trusts. Which is saying a lot, not being able to trust most of those closest to him has shown to be a problem. He has been known to not control his emotions and when it comes to anger he completely goes mad. Despite his many yet stated flaws, he goes on the rule of every life matters and won't forfeit a single life for the profit of others. Honest and loyal to his people he keeps his secrets in the open.
Bio: Rain was born from a demonic father and a Vampyre mother and as an only child guess you could say life was lonely for him. His parents weren't the kid to sit and talk with there son once in a while. The focused more on what he could to in definition if he was a failure or not. From his first steps to the day he started talking he was worked to the bone by his parents. To them, if you weren't strong enough or tough enough or smart enough you weren't...enough. This type of heavy duty ((hehe duty)) became a huge weight on him affecting his personality and his social life. It wasn't until his early teens in which he started to develop some sort of character.

He was rude and would most likely snap at anything that moved including his parents. He became so outraged at everything he began blaming not only his parents but everyone around him for the childhood he never had. Which seems childish, but to him, this was the only way he could express himself. With his out of control behavior, his parents went to an oracle if you will. This fortune-teller wasn't picked out randomly he had approached them before warning them of their son whom will end their lives. He warned of his emotions that he couldn't control especially his rage. Trying to stop their fates they never taught their son any type of emotion around Rain they were always emotionless, stonefaced.

After their visit with the Oracle Creon killed his parents in a fit of rage. At first, he thought he would regret it but it never happened.

Weapon and items: Rain despises armor for the view of slowing him down, although he doses encourage those around him to include it. He does carry various weapons including multiple venomous snakes which he adds to his horns making them extremely deadly, in case of an assassination.

Power(s):
Anger Manipulation|| Rain can sense and manipulate the rage, aggression, and anger of himself, people, animals, and other creatures, whether by increasing, decreasing, causing or otherwise channeling rage, even manifesting the emotional energy to physical level.
Poison Immunity|| Rain is immune to all forms of poisons/toxins/venom.
Enhanced Assassination|| Rain can perform the art of assassination better than the average killer, he is able to dispatch his victims without as so much as a struggle. The ways to do this range from something complex and high-finesse like mastery in stealth, strategically planned scenarios and highly disciplined martial arts to something simple-yet-effective like brute strength and raw speed to overwhelm the targets.

Name: Ozivel

Age: 278

Role and service: Treasure Guardian

Appearance:
AEC765D6-B78D-43C2-9EE8-D22FA1B4D265.jpeg

Bio: Ozivel was once a great inventor of magical items. He created many artifacts in his lifetime for various kings and sorcerers. But soon he grew bored of making the same magical artifacts over and over again for the various kingdoms at their request, to reinvigorate his love for inventing he looked for a new artifact to create. He studied for years to his delight he finally did it but at a great cost. He couldn’t control this new artifact and it tore his soul from his body, the artifact’s original purpose was to store souls inside to use as an infinite energy supply but the artifact was much stronger than anticipated. This new artifact possessed the ability to rip people’s souls straight out of their body and assimilate it into itself. The only reason the inventor made it out somewhat intact is because he built the cursed object and knows its inner workings. Ozivel quickly thinks of a plan and executes it, since he is a ghost now he will haunt the object making it think he’s already assimilated into it. But once the incident is over it leaves the inventor at a loss of what to do. He is unable to build as he just goes through everything but he then remembers of the existence of poltergeists and spends the years learning how to re-interact with objects, becoming a powerful poltergeist. Years go by as he continues his usual routine of building artifacts, he had found out early on that he couldn’t go far from the objects he was haunting but found out he could just take the object with him through telekinesis. Soon people start wandering into his workshop and taking his artifacts, this irritates the inventor making him turn his own workshop into a labyrinthine death trap as a defence against looters. As an extra measure the ghost decides to haunt all the objects in his workshop so he can follow those annoying robbers. On day he noticed people putting items into his workshop, this confused the inventor but he let it happen when he noticed the items were powerful magical artifacts. He studied these artifacts, adding them into his collection though a large amount of useless gold was given to him as well, he begrudgingly also added it to his collection. Eventually he figures out that these people build a whole goddamn kingdom on top of his workshop. His eyebrow twitched as he angrily flies into the throne room.

“Why’d the hell did you build a whole fucking kingdom on my workshop!” The inventor angrily yelled.

“Because it was convenient spot with a treasure trove of magical artifacts already here.” The Emperor says smirking, “Besides you do enjoy these artifacts, correct? Or do I have to rip out all these treasure back out of your hands? You will accept your new role as my Treasure Guardian.”

The inventor winces and sighs, he really doesn’t want to loose all these artifacts. They are all so fascinating and to lose it all would make him want to bang his head against the wall in frustration at himself for giving up the opportunity. So he resentfully agrees and becomes the kingdom’s Treasure Guardian.

Extras: He can’t go far from haunted objects or people but he can teleport to haunted objects. He decided to haunt all the treasure he’s studying/protecting. He may seem like a grouch but he does care for the kingdom, he just doesn’t like to admit it.

Weapons and items:

He has a bunch of magical gizmos that he created, from magic detectors to magic nullifying bombs.

Power(s):
  • Invisibility
  • Telekinesis/Force Magic: Ozivel is a powerful poltergeist and managed to merge his telekinesis with force magic.
  • Intangibility: As a ghost he can go through objects and is immune to physical attacks but is still fully susceptible to magical attacks
  • Illusionist: Skilled in crafting layers upon layers of illusions, he had often used this to hide his workshop.
  • Rune Magic: Something he used often in his artifact creation and later in creating the defences in his workshop. There are single use runes used in battle and permanent runes that he uses for artificing. The permanent runes are much more powerful but take time to make. To break the permanent runes one has to find the rune and destroy it. The effects of the runes vary, depending on the meaning of the rune written.

LEAVE THEM SPEECHLESS.

Name: Lockjaw

Age: 77, appears 23.

Role and Service: Emissary & Guardian of Capital; Lockjaw acts as an extension of the Emperor’s will and the personal Guardian of Capital, Iragorn’s largest town, essentially functioning as its Knight.

Bio: Lockjaw was born a slave. He was a slave for the first seventeen years of his life. When his seventeenth birthday arrived, he could bear this life no more and wished for the power to escape this life. A primordial being, a trickster, appeared before him to answer his plea. He asked the trickster to grant him greater strength than any other man and the power to personally kill the one that owned him. The trickster agreed, but only if the slave would give up his soul.

He agreed. He had nothing to lose. The trickster proceeded to extract the slave’s soul, replacing it with a well of magic that allowed him to surpass human limits. Only physically, however; the trickster took pleasure in placing magic that the slave would never be able to wield. The process ruined the slave’s mind, reducing him into a rabid beast that hungered for blood.

The tricker watched as the slave tore apart everyone in the building he slaved away in, and found himself surprised when the slave summoned magic into his palm to obliterate the lower face of his owner. Impressed, the trickster left the slave with two things before leaving him; he spread the magic to the slave’s mind to turn his sanity into what it is now, and planted a name in the head of the slave that had only been known as ‘Slave 32’ for seventeen years.

Lockjaw.

He wandered the lands for years, serving as a mercenary and wandering duelist. It is over these many decades that he obtained both his armour and most of his weapons, eventually finding himself in service to the dark lord that ruled the mountains of Iragorn. He was appointed the Emissary of the Emperor and the Guardian of Capital, the largest town in the area around the Castle IceMeet, and has served obediently under the Emperor and his small army of of powerful beings. Mostly due to a primeval instinct to respect those more powerful than he.

While Lockjaw may not be the most powerful of the Emperor’s subordinates, he is a faithful one and is extremely strong in his own right.

Extras: Lockjaw ages ten times slower than regular humans. He gave up his soul at age 17, which is why he appears 23 now; 60 years for him is 6 years for a normal human.
His moniker of Lockjaw derives from his habit of finishing enemies by tearing their jawbones from their skulls or destroying their lower face completely using Grasp of Malice.

Weapon and Items: Lockjaw makes up for his lack of magical proficiency by being what can only be described as a walking arsenal. He carries four longswords on his back, two short swords at his lower back, and one katana at either hip. The longsword on his back are sheathed so that two hilts protrude over each shoulder beside one another. Various knives and daggers are stored on his person; two bowie knives with brass knuckles at his thighs, two butterfly knives on the sides of his boots, two karambits at the back of his belt, a stiletto hidden in a leather holster over each forearm, plus an array of kunai in a bandolier across his chest. In addition to blades he carries several smoke bombs and basic explosive bombs on his belt, plus poison darts in a second bandolier across his chest.

The set of armour he wears was obtained from a knight he easily bested in combat. The armour’s cumbersome weight was the knight’s end. For Lockjaw, it provides a large amount of protection but reduces his combat efficiency in terms of agility, dexterity, stamina, and more. He only wears it when a point has to be made due to its fearsome appearance or when he knows he’ll be going up against a large amount of enemies or against enemies larger than him.

Powers: All of Lockjaw’s abilities stem from the magic inside him that he is only passively able to tap into. It is what sustains him in surpassing human limits. The magic inside him grants him enhanced reflexes, speed, agility, strength, stamina, and endurance. It ages him ten times slower than regular humans, stops him from sleeping, allows him to never require food or drink, and keeps his brain in working condition. He also heals twice as fast as a normal person. This doesn’t mean he feels no pain or that his stamina/endurance is infinite. The only way he can manifest his magic is through an ability known as Grasp of Malice in which he summons pure magical power from the palm of his hand to completely obliterate anything in his grasp. However, he can only use this power when his sanity is at its final stage, and it harbours an extensive charge time. He is an extremely powerful fighter in any situation but he suffers massively from his inability to wield magic, immediately making him weaker than other servants of the Emperor. However, for a purpose such as defending a town or serving as an emissary, there is no one better suited. For the former, at least.

Lockjaw’s most notable ‘power’ is known as Riskrunner. The more damage he takes and the more pain he experiences during a fight, the more insane he becomes. His sanity lowers in stages; he starts off as a man only mildly insane, with a preference for dramatic flair coupled with an intense stare and a crazed grin. This is how he usually is. The final stage devolves him into a completely insane creature with no semblance of intelligence whatsoever, like a rabid dog. Once a fight is over, his sanity slowly returns back to its first stage.
