What if Gothel never stole Rapuzel?
This still takes place in Corona and Rapuzels universe, things are just changed around. Gothel never had to steal Rapunzel because she was the royal herbalist. She did anything to stay young and beautiful including keeping the sundrops power to herself when she found it. You see Gothel was pregnant again, with another baby girl when she used the sundrop, she, however, found a way to infuse its power within her. She however did not realize it was going to her daughter.
When the queen fell ill Gothel had no choice but to help the guards find the magical flower. She knew that she held some of the power and was rewarded handsomely for finding it. She was in charge of making the "potion"/mixture to save the queen and princess. she did not give all of the mixtures to the queen though. Gothel also took some of it and drank it as the queen did. The power of the sundrop split, Rapunzel gaining 75% and Gothel's daughter gaining 25%.
When the daughter was born Gothel had no idea that she possessed the legendary healing powers of the sundrop. It was not until she sang the incantation to herself, thinking she would turn young again. Her daughter's eye lit brilliant light and Gothel became young again. She had passed it onto her daughter and unlike the princess, her daughter did not have glowing hair, she had glowing eyes. She was overcome with joy, she would have the flower forever.
In this AU Cassandra was not abandoned since Gothel did not need Rapunzel she however still did not treat Cassandra or her other daughter well. The two did not notice and loved their mother unconditionally. The three of them lived well together in the castle and Cassandra still became Rapunzel's handmaid. Her sister however was granted the title of Corona's Healer and she and Rapunzel became very close. The two of them knew they both held parts of the sundrop and went on adventures with Cass and Eugene to figure out what had happened.
Rapunzel does not hold any healing power in this, only indestructible magic glowing hair.
Cassandra did not become the villain since Rapunzel took nothing from her. She still remained close to the captain of the guard and aimed to someday become one.
Eugene is also not Rapunzel's boyfriend.
Varian is the full villain in this since neither Rapunzel nor Gothel's daughter could save his father. He hated all of his so-called friends for not even trying to help, and he was villainized for attacking the princess, Corona's Healer, Cassandra, and Eugene. His father however could not be saved, the amber-like crystals do not preserve like they thought they such life from whatever touches it and stores it in the moonstone. In this AU he will not be easily swayed and work to obtain the moonstone as Cass did in the original series.
I am looking for someone to play Rapunzel, Eugene, Casandra, Varian, and Lance. I wish to play Gothel's second daughter.
I would just like to see where a script like this could go and how the characters would interact.
