I'm pretty sure a Lore is a professional version of an OOC, so let's do this.
The laboratory is basically an underground base that is under an ocean. It is shielded with a thick metal barrier under the water, sand and other things you find in the sea. So, if you plan for a subject character to be escaping, then you might just run into the barrier before you could reach the emergency exit.
The laboratory is split into 13 sections, one for each rank. The ones nearest to emergency exits are the lower ranked subjects(1st-8th) while the ones in the centre are the higher ranked subjects(9th-13th). If you are a guard character going for a patrol, then you might just have to assume where which section is.
The underground base has two levels. The second level is for the experiment rooms, testing rooms, or just a lab for the scientists to test things in. The lower level are where the 13 sections are.
For the record, please do not put yourself under 1st-2nd rank if your ability does not classify under that rank. And, do not put abilities under 9th-13th ranks if your ability does not classify under that rank as well.
