Creator of my own little Universe

    1. Be respectul! Be openminded and don't cause any drama. You can leave that all for the IC that will come.
    2. All RPN rules apply throughout the whole roleplay and the discord.
    3. Characters will be from all over the world, and all kind of lives. So please keep things interesting. However do keep things realistic as well. Make sure your characters personality and their past fit together. I am all for trauma kids, but I do not want 8 characters that are suicidal and such. So please try to keep things diverse.
    4. Once I have the applications up you can send me your characters in PM. I will try to provide everyone with feedback and point out what needs to be changed and what not. This way I will also monitor that we do get all kind of different characters indeed.
    5. You are allowed to send in more than one application. However I will only be accepting ONE character into the roleplay. The one that I think fits best into the cast I have and the idea I have.
    6. Depending on how many people are interested and how long new people will be interested I will keep the roleplay open for new applications. Despite this I will be closing the rp for new application at 23:59 (GMT+2) on Sunday 15 September 2019.
    7. While you guys will be sending in your applications, I won't be simply sitting around and doing nothing. I will work on lore and worldbuilding and all that shit. However I do not expect the roleplay to actually start until 5 or 6 October 2019. I want to give everyone a chance to get comfortable with their partner and all that before I start this mayhem.

Occupation: Risk is the Gunner for his team. Most of what he does is infantry and bomber related. He is best with automatic assault rifles and is particularly adept at making difficult shots in quick succession, which allows him to take down enemies in direct contact on the ground. He is very agile, which makes it easier for him to duck behind cover amid gunfire and navigate through the battlefield. Risk, signifying where his nickname came from, is relatively unconcerned about caution, and will search out and disarm bombs and other explosives so that the rest of the team doesn’t have to. He can use a sniper, but he prefers not to, as it keeps him generally out of the main fight, which is where he prefers to be. He knows how to handle missiles and heavy artillery but tries to keep away from using it as much as possible due to the amount of damage it causes. His focus, always, is to protect civilians.

Weaponry: Risk is talented with the use of any automatic assault rifle, but his favorite weapon, and the one he is most talented with, is the Steyr AUG, which is a 5.56 mm assault rifle with a bullpup configuration and a 30-round clip. He is also good with the USA’s most popular military rifle, the gas operated M16A4. Risk also carries a pair of semi-automatic Beretta M9’s. His go-to sniper rifle is the Barrett M82, which is high-caliber and semi-automatic. Lastly, Risk carries an M9 Combat Knife for close combat.

Languages: Risk’s dominant language is English. He is proficient in German and French, and knows some Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese.

Fighting: Risk’s dominant fighting style is Krav Maga, which is a mixed martial arts technique meant to end a fight as quickly as possible. All offensive maneuvers are aimed at the most vulnerable parts of the body, such as the throat, groin, and chest. All defensive maneuvers are meant to protect the head and torso and avoid as many strikes as possible.

Transport: Risk is primarily a foot soldier. He prefers his feet on the ground, remaining in contact with enemies and easily able to maneuver into or out of a situation. He can drive the basic military transport trucks and Jeeps, which are needed for civilian transport, and he can pilot a helicopter if needed in a bad situation. He does not know how to operate a tank or fly any sort of large-scale military plane or fighter jet.

Medical: Risk has only the basic medical knowledge TETSA recruits receive at the Academy. He knows general first aid, such as how to create a tourniquet to control bleeding, how to bind (immobilize) broken or fractured bones, and how to clean wounds. He knows how to remove a bullet while in the field but isn’t quite as proficient at it as a medic would be. Risk’s best medical skill is how to find natural medications if ever stranded from extraction on a mission or assignment.

Skills: Risk’s only not aforementioned skills are his speed and agility. Risk runs daily, wherever he can, for however long he can. Because of this, he can sprint quite fast for longer periods of time without running out of breath or becoming tired. His agility allows him to navigate battlefields and proficiently avoid enemy fire.

Missions: Risk has been serving with Project TETSA on full service for eight years. His first mission was among one of his most important missions. Soon after his eighteenth birthday, his team was deployed to a war-ravaged village in Syria. The ongoing war had caused the displacement of hundreds of Syrian civilians. His team’s mission was to evacuate the village amidst the arrival of attacking enemy forces. As the Gunner for his team, his job was to protect his unit as they rounded up all surviving civilians, and then use his skills to escort them back to the team’s transport helicopter for immediate evacuation. Risk was amid an aggressive gunfight with enemy forces when an enemy soldier tossed a grenade near a set of civilians being ushered across the village by the medic for his team. Risking exposure to enemy fire, he’d rushed towards them, grabbed the live grenade from the ground, and tossed it back at the enemies in time for it to explode. The move resulted in a bullet to his left shoulder but saved six lives.

Risk’s most important action during Project TETSA’s active years was an assignment he was sent on just after he was ranked up from Corporal to Sergeant. It was only his eighth individual assignment, as his skillset was often required on team-operated missions, and unlike most, his objective was not to rescue civilians. It was to eliminate a high-profile target—a Saudi Arabian Warlord by the name Ismail Hamadan, who was a key player in the trafficking of young, female captives of war, the distribution of military-grade weapons to international terrorist groups, and the capture and torture of over 200 US soldiers. Risk went into the assignment believing it to be cut & dry—a simple sniper kill from a set point. Upon arrival, however, the assignment quickly went awry, and he was captured by the warlord’s soldiers. When taken before Ismail, Risk was brought to the location of sixteen of the warlord’s female captives, and three of the injured US soldiers. His instinct to protect became forefront in his mind, and by the time he was extracted from the assignment, Ismail was dead, and every captive from the compound was safe from further suffering.

Risk was involved in many other important missions and assignments in his eight years, most of which were civilian rescue oriented, but the two mentioned above were his most mention-able.

APPEARANCE -
Build: Nine has a slim, yet misleadingly athletic build. She stands at about 5’6” (168 cm) and weighs 117lbs (53 kg).
Face: Nine’s sharp cheekbone structure and heart-shaped face give her an almost angelic appearance. However, combined with the cold, hard glare of her striking ice blue eyes, Nine gives off the energy of a wildcat, ready to kill. Though usually kept in a ponytail or braid to keep it out of the way, her blonde hair falls in natural waves, reaching just about her chest. In the real world, Nine would be considered pretty in most senses of the word.
Marks: A driver isn’t really expected to be in the heat of battle all that often. And due to the excellent healing techniques of the medical team, scars and marks aren’t all the common. Therefore, the only marks Nine has are a slightly discolored burn scar on her left thigh, gained from a training session in her earlier years that ended in a car explosion, and a gunshot scar just below her right collar bone.

SKILLS & ABILITIES -
Occupation: Though she only recently became an Elite driver, Nine has definitely worked hard to rise in the ranks the way she did. Beginning to drive at a very young age with the help of a go-kart, Nine worked her way through the simple to the complex. From boats, cars, and planes, to motorcycles, jet skis, and trucks, Nine has truly mastered the control, maintenance, and manipulation of Project TETSA’s vehicles.
Weaponry: Though weapons are not commonly used in her occupation, Nine is quite adept at the use of blades and handguns. She prefers a P229 and a double-edged, 6.5” tactical dagger, and keeps them both on her person nearly all the time. However, she does know how to use the weapons that are associated with her driver position, such as fighter jet machine guns, tank missiles, and submarine torpedoes, with precision.

Fighting: Because of her slim nature, Nine isn’t the strongest of the group, and definitely not stronger than all of her opponents. However, what she lacks in strength, she makes up in speed and agility. Nine is trained in Krav Maga and Aikido to balance her weaknesses with her strengths.
Transport: As a driver, Nine has skills in all forms and modes of transport, including motorcycles, cars, quads, supply cars, armored trucks, planes, fighter jets, tanks, buses, boats, jet skis, etc. However, she prefers the agility and speed of a sport motorcycle when solo driving.
Medical: In terms of medical skills, this is potentially where Nine lacks the most. She knows the basic of field first aid and medical care, such as stopping bleeding and CPR. But when it comes to more complex tasks like removing bullets, field surgeries, or stabilization, Nine would rather let others with more skill take over.

MISSIONS -
Syrian Civil War (2012-2013): Nine began her deployment during the Syrian Civil War where she had several assignments and missions. In the beginning, most of these missions revolved around transporting supplies and soldiers in between bases and hide outs. However, the most noteworthy of these missions was the transportation of two Elite soldiers, two Lieutenant soldiers, and 4 civilians to a safe house. During the drive, their group was ambushed by enemy soldiers and mines. Through her evasion skills, Nine was able to avoid the ambush, even while in distress due to smoke inhalation, and only lose one civilian. For her efforts and skills, Nine was promoted to Corporal. Deployed for six months and rest for two in two sets.
Libyan Civil War (2014-2017): Several driving missions, most not too exciting in nature. However, through these assignments she was promoted to sergeant. Her vehicle control and evasion skills caught the eyes of the higher-ups, who decided to take a chance on an otherwise no-face soldier. In January of 2016, Nine was tasked with infiltrating an enemy controlled city to steal an important oil shipment and return it to Libyan officials. During this mission, Nine was shot and gravely injured. However that did not stop her from finishing the mission, bleeding out and close to death. For her bravery, Nine was promoted to Lieutenant and given the nickname Nine Lives, or Nine for short. She served 9 months with 3 months rest for the first two years followed by a 6 month deployment and 6 month recovery period in the final year.
Yemeni Civil War (2018-2019): During the Yemeni Civil War, Nine was an integral part of an airstrike team aiming to rid of the rebel uprising while prevent unnecessary civilian casualties. In her most recent mission for TETSA, an airstrike was planned on a rebel-run town hiding an important enemy leader. Though she normally worked in the air for these missions, Nine was sent in with the Intelligence team on the ground to evacuate all civilians. In a difficult plan of evasion, secrecy, and trust, Nine successfully drove all civilians that wanted to leave from the town, saving them from the gruesome death of the airstrike. She was promoted to Elite for this accomplishment. Served 5 months split by 1 month rest for the first year, and 4 months deployment to 2 months rest in the second.

APPEARANCE -
Build: As a personal trainer, Xavier has an athletic, muscled body type with the frame to match. He stands at approximately 6’2” (183 cm) and weighs 170 lbs (77kg).
Face: Xavier has definitely been called handsome in his lifetime, though he isn’t egotistical enough to ever agree with them. His ocean blue eyes can easily look through a person, and contrast with his well-kept dark brown hair. A groomed beard compliments his sharp jawline.
Marks: While deployed overseas, X was sent into some particularly dangerous situations. While they were never as hazardous as the missions the TETSA soldiers were sent on, Xavier still sustained a few injuries, one of which led to his discharge. There are therefore a few smaller scars scattered across his body. However, a knight's armor tattoo on his left shoulder covers the largest of his scars, gained from a bombing attack.
Attire: X’s style revolves entirely around three themes: classy, athletic, and rugged. When he dresses up, he usually goes full suit, either gray or blue, and no tie. He pairs this ensemble with something casual, like sneakers or boat shoes. When he is training, Xavier prefers knee-cut gym shorts or comfortable sweats, a loose tank top, and tennis shoes. For an everyday look, dark washed jeans with boots, a t-shirt, and a leather jacket are his usual go-to’s.

Application -
Motivation: When Xavier first heard about the mentorship program, he immediately signed up for it. Though never at the same level of immersion as the TETSA soldiers, X was a loyal US Army soldier. Starting out at the young age of 18, the army was all X really knew for his adult life. He worked hard, trained harder, and was quickly promoted through the ranks. While supervising a routine transport mission overseas, a rebel car bomb exploded his transport vehicle. With a piece of shrapnel lodged in his shoulder and adrenaline racing through his blood, Xavier successfully pulled three of his fellow soldiers to safety. A few weeks later, Xavier woke up in a hospital bed back in the United States, with no use of his left shoulder or arm. He was honorably discharged and given the Purple Heart for his efforts. Months of physical therapy later, X regained most of use of his left arm, though it is a little weak in comparison. Now he works as a personal trainer, specializing in helping people gain their strength in a way that best fits them.

PERSONA -
Good Traits: Discipline, Charisma, Altruism, Self-restraint, Bravery
Xavier had always been a rather selfless person. As a child, this was reflected in standing up against bullies for the other kids in school or helping a turtle cross a road. His altruism and charisma proved beneficial growing up, allowing him to make friends easily and become an all-around popular guy. However, being nice and good at sports didn’t necessarily mean X was good at school. Without the grades to make it into a nice college, Xavier decided to join the military where the skills of discipline and bravery he learned in high school football perfectly fit. Later, after his discharge, these same traits are reflected in the way he fought back after his injury as well as wants to take on being a mentor for the TETSAR program.

One of the main traits Xavier learned from both sports and the army was to obey his superiors. In a lot of situations, this is a beneficial trait. However, in others, it can be considered blind trust. X does what he’s told by persons in charge without blinking an eye, a loyal soldier. In a sense, that makes him similar to the soldiers in the TETSAR program. However, he does still have a mind of his own, and will speak that mind in blatant honesty. The only thing he keeps to himself is the guilt he feels for every soldier he lost while deployed. While it wasn’t ever really his fault, he holds on to the feeling that it somehow was. Due to this, X doesn’t really have the ability to give up on anything, even if it was a lost cause from the start.

Daire will always be there for you, whether he knows you well or not. Because, to him, sticking by someone’s side is the most important thing anyone can do. He is the kind of person people would vote to represent their group as he is very approachable, gentle and polite. Although it may not seem like it at first glance, Daire takes his ambitions very seriously and can spend hours on end working on the same project. When he sets his mind to something, he will complete it no matter what. In addition, he enjoys predicting how others will react - as if they were a variable in a computer - and always plans ahead for other people (for instance, packing extra toothpaste because a friend will most likely forget theirs).

Face: Daire has a strong jawline with green eyes that always seem to be half-lidded. He has wavy red hair that is usually pushed back from his face. Across his cheeks and nose, his face is spotted with freckles.
Marks: Despising needles, he has never gotten a tattoo or piercing. He also has a burn mark on his ankle from an accident when he was nine. The only other marks he might have would be on his legs, from bumping into tables and chairs.
Attire: Daire tends to dress up casually for most events, even formal ones. He’s that one kid who shows up to a business-casual party wearing sweatpants.

Application

Motivation: Daire, despite barely being able to take care of himself, applied after seeing the underwhelming amount of people who wanted to aid these soldiers. It frustrated him to think that after all this protesting, barely anyone wanted to genuinely aid these human beings into connecting with society. He hopes that he can help the soldiers by being there as a friend.

Medical: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - His triggers include loud sounds such as fireworks or popcorn popping, but only when he is not aware that the noise is going to occur, and situations where he cannot breathe well.

Pets: A pet cat named Saill (fat in Irish)

Hobbies/Sports:
(Running) - Occasionally goes on runs in his free time.
(Baking) - I wouldn’t recommend trying any of his food, though.

Motivation: Elena grew up in a household affected by drugs and mental health which lead to her going into mental health when she got older. She wants to help people not become like her parents and no kid have to live like that. Because there is a requirement of on the job working to graduate her professor suggested this program, she of course accepted.

Medical: Gets rashes from freshly cut grass, and has a lactose intolerance(nothing bad just makes her a little sick)

~Appearance~
Build: On the short (5'4") and scrawny side, Lucky's stature only further compliments her childish personality. She does most of her work using her brain and hands, so it's never been a real liability. She is fit, like everyone in her profession has to be, but she is average as far as physical strength goes.

Face: Lucky has a pair of brown eyes sparkling with chaotic energy, shadowed by a light splash of freckles over her straight nose. One of her eyebrows has a scar running through it, something she thinks is really cool! Usually, her face is covered in gunpowder and oil.

Marks: A scar across her left eyebrow/forehead. Got it from a piece of shrapnel. Many small scars all over fingers and arms, a lot of them appear to be from burns.


~Skills and Abilities~
Occupation: Mechanic/Demolitions expert.

Weaponry: Bombs, heavy artillery, anything that does flashy sprays of damage and lots of it! Her favourite mode of weaponry is setting up explosive traps or drones, however.

Languages: English, Portuguese.

Fighting: Prefers to blow things up first and ask questions later! Lucky's favourite mode of attack is setting up traps for her squad's enemies, causing chaos and confusion. After the surprise is over (if there is any resistance left) her other weaponry is heavy artillery. Knows Jiu Jitsu for those 'oh hey, you snuck up on me' moments.

Transport: Almost every military vehicle in existence.

Medical: Basic Military-grade medical training

Skills:
  • Repair: can fix almost all machinery. Very useful for fixing her allies guns or vehicles in the field.
  • Spark of madness genius: Lucky loves to improve machinery to make it more efficient...and oftentimes more dangerous. She has a strange talent to make explosives out of seemingly common items. Adding sparkles to explosives is a huge bonus, though she only did it once (almost got kicked out of the service for it...)
  • Hacking: Lucky is good at hacking and hotwiring. It's not her specialty (as she prefers to blow up a door than figure out the code) but its enough to let her have access to most things she needs.
Missions: Operation Rosewater
Like most of the other soldiers, Lucky started going out on missions at the age of 18. She was just a simple mechanic with no real status, a back-up really. It's funny how she never really expected to be replacing her superior, but of course, plans changed when he was shot and killed. Most people had been at that point. They were outnumbered, outgunned, and most importantly were running low on supplies, trapped within a mountain outpost.

It was a military disaster. The enemy had them under siege for over a week when they had only been prepared for a few days. Desperate and low on living members, Lucky's fellow soldiers finally agreed to her crazy idea. To create an avalanche that would sweep away their attackers. Armed with explosives and wit, Lucky was able to set up explosive charges above and around the mountain camp. To be honest, she wasn't sure if the avalanche would also kill herself and all her comrades, but it was worth a shot, right?

By luck, if soldiers believe in that sort of thing, Lucky and her skeleton crew of soldiers managed to take cover within the outpost as the tidal wave of trees, boulders and snow crashed down the mountainside. It took them almost an entire day to claw their way out of the snow, but when they resurfaced they could hardly find any trace of the enemy soldiers.

It was probably her most famous exploit, earning her both the nick-name "Lucky" as well as recognition for her brave, if not crazy, plan in a tough situation. In the next years, she rose to the rank of Corporal, serving in various missions.

Laika was encouraged to sign up by her manager at work. She before becoming a mentor she worked as a day nurse in a general practice and previously volunteered in a youth group when still studying in college. Her manager thought her Approachable nature would do well for the job after receiving news about it and suggested it to her. Having some thoughts about changing career anyway she decided to take a look and deciding that she definetly wanted to help out. Biting the bullet she went ahead and applied.

Chi met her husband-to-be, Oscar when they were only kids, the two being friends until 17 when they started to date. They had a fairly stable relationship until her fiance had joined the armed forces. After two deployments Oscar would return not himself. Agitated, restless and sometimes ill, having a hard time fitting back in with their friends when back. He was clearly suffering some trauma. Around this time she began to study art therapy. Despite her best efforts to get him to seek medical help he declined at first but comprimised with her. He would go after his third deployment...Except he never came back. He was injured during a peacekeeping mission and didn't survive. Now 2 years later, Chi volunteered for the program to rehabilitate soilders. She saw what Oscar was struggling with and wanted to help out others in his situation in whatever way she could.
