Princess Cronus

A long time ago, there was a great war - the Olympians and the Titans, as well as their various allies, waged war against each other. The opposing sides, lead by Zeus and Cronus respectively, battled fiercely. At first, it seemed that the Titans won, but the Olympians fought against the odds and claimed victory.

The Titans were sealed in Tartarus as eternal prisoners, but one day, Cronus escaped his confines.

The Olympians were furious. Zeus wanted his brethren to search for Cronus. This word reached other parts of the world of Greek Legend, allowing the rise of beings such as Typhon thought to be long gone to rise up and seek the one they call their true leader.

However, something strange happened, very strange indeed...

In, Kuri-shi, a small town in a land on the East. One night, a young girl fell from the sky, much like a feather, landing in a young boy's arms.

She remembers not a thing but her name, and when she opens her eyes, all she can ask is:

"My name... is Saturn... what is yours?"

Rules & Notes

Posting requirements

Minimum posting is once a week. If you need to be absent for a good length, tell me and I'll understand. Since this is arc-seperated, anyone who isn't part of the 'main duo' is allowed to skip out on certain arcs, unless they're needed. As a story that intends to run long, it's inevitable that we'll hit a point where the basket has too many eggs.

Characters

In terms of characters you're allowed to use, well, here's a basic rundown. The primary condition is that it must be a Greco-Roman figure. (Unless you're just doing humans. Powerless little humans who bystand and chill with the big bois. And big girls.) The characters you will play would naturally be characters who have reason to ally with Cronus, or fight against Zeus, such as Titans not stored in Tartarus (Atlus, Prometheus, Epimetheus, etc.), the children of Typhon (Kerberos, Orthros, Ladon, The Sphinx), and a few assorted others. The ones who fulfil this but cannot be played are the Titans locked in Tartarus, as well as the generations before the Titans such as Primordials.

Additionally, you can be a human. Humans in these big boi settings tend to be emotional support and the smart ones, not so much of brute on-par fighting machines, so do it at your own risk or own entertainment. They go to school, they own shops and inns, they pay taxes. It's kind of like humans in literally every Transformers series unless you're Sari or those Headmasters kids or those Kiss Players. You get me.

The human we need most is the japanese kiddo that our titular character ends up living with, mentioned in the plotline briefing. He, alongside Saturn, will be the 'main duo' of the story. This character is required for the RP to start.

Since we're talking about characters, there is something you need to know about the different types of beings and the forms they can assume.

Gods such as Titans and Olympians can assume a wide array of forms. However, the less affinity they have with the form they assume, the weaker they are. For instance, in the form of a horse or dolphin, Poseidon is still pretty powerful. But as a fly or a cat, not so, even if he can still hold his own. For all intents and purposes, the Gods have as much of an affinity to humans as their symbolic animals when taking this into account.

Their bestial offspring, referred to as "Divine Monsters" in many parts of the -verse, which are basically monsters or beasts with one or two God parents such as the Kerberos, Hydra, the Pegasus, and the ram that wears the Golden Fleece have a much weaker version of this ability, in which they can shift between their monstrous true forms and humanoid forms. These humanoid forms are close to humans, but they have residual traits from their monstrous forms, such as sea serpents having fins in place of ears, tails protruding extending from one's spine, or even horns and wings. Multiple heads, strangely, will either manifest as hand puppets, actual seperate bodies, alternate personalities or simply not manifest at all in humanoid form. Much like their parent/s, they are immortal, or have an immortal soul or half, which means that even if they have been said to die in Legend, they do not truly perish and will be reborn. Outside of the Greco-Roman realm, this will encompass Fenrir and Jormungandr.

If we're talking about humans who are the sons and daughters of gods such as Perseus, Heracles and more - nah, they don't have that.

For now, I am not limiting the number of characters you can play, but please make sure you can juggle them all!

Non-playable Characters

The characters that will be NPC-only as well as our player characters' opposition are the ones who would naturally ally with Zeus and the Olympians, mostly Greek heroes and the children of the gods. While you can't sign up as them, you can play them down the line under certain conditions i.e. as arc antagonists.

Setting

The RP will take place in the small Japanese town of Kuri-shi, which strangely has Roman statues of deities on one end of the town and has Shinto shrines on the other. Roman deities are worshipped here the same way minor Shinto gods are. We will be leaving town for other places, yes.

The town is so small that there are only two schools - a primary school and a school that carries both middle and high school classes.

While other mythologies do exist in this world and will appear in some shape or form, this RP will limit player characters to Greco-Roman from start to end (may allow Egyptian and Lovecraftian later) because I have might have plans for everything else. So if you ever ask about this, I'll know you didn't read this bit.

This RP is, after all, part of a larger Modern Fantasy universe aptly known as the Nirvanaverse.

The roleplay is going for an anime-style/Light Novel/urban JRPG aesthetic.

"Who... am I?"

Name:
Saturn

Aliases:
Cronus; Chronos

Age:
???
14 (according to human registry)

Gender:
Female

Appearance:
Saturn is only 145 centimetres tall, with wavy blonde hair and emerald eyes. She is described to have a very dainty, thin, waifish figure. She wears a black scarf around her neck.

Personality:
Saturn is a girl of few words.

History:
As a girl with amnesia, Saturn does not know much about her past beyond her name.
Saturn is, in reality, the ancient Titan King Cronus turned into a girl through unknown means. Cronus was imprisoned in Tartarus as a result of losing the Titanomachy, but has escaped since then.

Abilities:
Saturn has some combat ability, especially in wielding her scythe.
She possesses a limited level of time manipulation. She can freeze time for 20 seconds, slow it down or speed it up for 30 seconds and reverse it by 10 seconds. After using the ability, she will need a 5 second cooldown. It seems that this ability's true potential is unexplored.
Her black scarf has the ability to transform into black, feathery wings for flight.
Her affinity to the harvest allows for withering or dead plant life to spring to life in her presence. This is a passive ability.
Saturn possesses the ability to 'consume' beings that have descended from Cronus in some form, assimilating them and gaining their powers. The lower they are down the family tree, the less effective it is. This is a nod to Cronus consuming all his children but Zeus.

Equipment:
Cronus wields the Harpe. Traditionally, it is an Adamantine scythe, and it is here too. As a summonable weapon, it can
She wields a pocketwatch around her neck, which allows her to channel her time-based abilities. By loading this pocketwatch in her Harpe, she can use 'time bullets' as ammunition, turning her Harpe into a gunscythe. These 'time bullets' are not lethal, but rather, each person they strike will be frozen in time for 10 seconds, and for another 10 seconds they will slowly return back to normal in a slomo fashion.

Lives in the male lead's house. Because otherwise she is homeless.

Hydra_mask.png
afGts11.png
"... take care..."

Name:
Hydra; Lernaean Hydra
Hydra Typhonicus (according to human registry)

Age:
???

Gender:
Female

Appearance:
Hydra is 170 centimetres tall and has a mildly curvy figure, in contrast to Chimera's short and featureless mannerisms. She is often seen wearing glasses. In place of ears, she has fin-like structures, reflecting her nature as a sea serpent. Her tongue is notably snake-like as well. Extending from a spine is an extensive tail that is much like that of a fish or sea serpent - scaly and blue. She has bluish scales on her body in the form of patches here and there.

Not depicted in this picture is a bluish medical mask, coated with the antidote to her poison. She wears it often to protect others from herself, and feels great liberty when she can take it off.

Personality:
Hydra is a serious individual who rarely has a visible funny bone. However, she is willing to put up with Chimera's antics. She follows rules and is rather by-the-book, not too flexible and not too fond of stepping outside the box. She has a short temper and flares up rather easily. She is a bit avoiding, but that's only because she knows that bad things will happen to those she stays too close to.

History:
Taken from a young age from her parents Typhon and Echidna, the Hydra was raised by Hera for the purpose of destroying Heracles. She served her duty and Heracles defeated her with the help of his nephew. That was the end, and in her death, she held a grudge towards Hera for imprisoning her, and Heracles for taking her life. Her spirit was imprisoned in the stars as a constellation, but as Cronus' escape neared, she found herself free and living in Kuri-shi, living life as an ordinary girl and free of trouble. Down the line, she found Chimera, her beloved sister, as the two hit it off.

Abilities:
The Hydra has the ability to grow two heads when one is decapitated. This manifests in the form of a swift regeneration ability, where any cut, no matter how big, will regenerate as if it were never there.
Her poisons are rather deadly, to the point where her saliva could paralyse someone or cause hallucinations. Her breath is poisonous as well. Her blood is truly poisonous, which is why she cuts herself with arrows to draw blood, delivering a deadly shot to opponents. Only Chimera knows how to create antidotes for it, and has a good lot stocked in her laboratory.
She can summon a crab to do her bidding, but without her full power, her best bet is espionage.

Equipment:
She wields arrows and a quiver with no special properties.

True Form:
7MmSodv.png

The Lernean Hydra reveals her true form! Every time she reverts to her true form, she is defaulted to seven heads. However, each time one of her heads are chopped, two new ones grow. As a sea serpent, she has the traits of both fish and serpent, though her main body has the shape of a crocodile, down to webbed feet and a bulky tail that is also like that of a fish's. Each neck is a whopping eight metres long, with the main body being five metres and the tail a decent 2 metres.

True Form Abilities:
Her poisons are now much more lethal and her strength is greater. One shudders at the thought of inhaling her breath.
The Hydra is able to regenerate as long as not cauterized. When one head is chopped, two arrive in its place.

Her crab-like summon is now larger, the size of a car, and much more battle-ready.

Other Information:
Attending school under the guise of a student alongside her sister Chimera. She is in the same class as the male lead and is the class rep. She is a part of the archery club.

"Will you be my friend?"

Name:
Chimera
Chimera Typhonicus (according to human registry)

Age:
???
14 (according to human registry)

Gender:
Female

Appearance:
Chimera is a mere 140 centimetres tall. Short and tiny compared to most of her brethren, she doesn't really mind all that much. In place of human ears, she has the ears of a feline, position and all, no human ears behind the hair. She still does wear headphones where a human would, however, because that's how cats work. While her shoes and stockings hide this, her feet are hooves with goat fur towards them, much like a satyr.

41rd8koNObL.jpg

On Chimera's right hand is a plush-looking puppet that she rarely takes off. And yes, despite this hand being continuously occupied by a puppet, she can continue to use it. If this puppet is seperated from her body, she loses the ability to revert to her true form, drawing parallels to a selkie's skin. After all, what is the legendary she-goat with no goat? She is telepathically connected to it, so it isn't that hard to find, and it can only be destroyed if Chimera herself is destroyed.

Opheodrys_aestivus_-_rough_green_snake_cropped.jpg

From Chimera's spine extends a prehensile tail that can extend accordingly. This prehensile tail is a serpent, and is considered her third head. In her humanoid form, this snake is smooth, soft and slippery, matching the friendly nature of the rest of her humanoid form.

Personality:
Chimera has an infectious, cheerful attitude. It is a bit rare to see anyone in sorrow around her. She is rather prideful of her talents and is willing to lend aid to those who ask, as long as they're her good friends. She is easy to win over in minor situations like a trip to the arcade or what food to have, but obviously she's not stupid enough to be bribed into backstabbing.... for the most part anyways.

History:
The Chimera was one of many children of Typhon and Echidna, described in name as a 'she-goat' or 'young she-goat', as that was usually what people first saw - a docile herbivore - before realising that it was just a part of a greater, multiheaded monster. The Chimera terrorized Lycia for a long time, claiming it as its territory before the hero Bellerophon, riding the mighty Pegasus, used great strategy to defeat and suffocate her. That was the end of the Chimera as legends know it.

However, Chimera soon found herself reborn in a strange humanoid form, where she was soon picked up by a clan of blacksmiths. With her affinity to fire and volcanoes, she quickly picked up on their various feats, starting to exceed all but one in talent - a misshapen man. She considered this misshapen man her rival in the art of crafting.

One day, this misshapen man was revealed to be a deity that was once cast out of Olympus - Haephastus. Haephastus had a chance to return and after reluctant deciding, he took it. The clan became one who worshipped Haephastus. Chimera felt envy, and believed that staying would not allow her to talents to rise, so she left, in hopes of one day exceeding Haephastus.

A lot of things happened between then and now, including the one time Chimera got witchhunted due to her 'devil-like' features and her 'witchcraft' in the era of monotheism, but that was just one of her many ventures.

Today, she joins her sister Hydra, and together, they seek out the call of Typhon, their father.

Abilities:
Chimera's hand-to-hand fighting abilities are pretty average, but since she has additional strength and a serpent for a tail for those underhanded back-grapples and low bites, it more than makes up for it.
Chimera's hooves are some of the strongest and hardiest of them all.
Chimera's tail, as a thin serpent, contains fangs with nasty poison. It isn't poisonous to the point where even breath is affected, however.
The Chimera's iconic ability is the ability to spew flames from any of her three mouths - her main mouth, her puppethand and her tail. In this state, these are orange flames.
Chimera has great talent in the art of craftsmanship, in which her history mentions how only Haephastus was known to exceed her.

Equipment:
Chimera, as a talented craftsman, has created several inventions, but she only keeps a few with her. In fact, she has a good workshop with her in her house's basement.

She has a piece of equipment known as 'The Witch's Broom', which she built back in the day and is part of why she was witchhunted. Now in the disguise of an Umbrella, it can be equipped and ridden much like a Witch's Broom. The real thing does exist, this is a construct based on such magic.

She has a piece of armour she dubs 'The Dullahan's Bride'. It presents itself as a small disc that when pressed, forms a full suit of Ironman-esque black armour around herself. This was primarily meant to circumvent the weakness she acquires should she lose her second head, hence its name, and she will never use it unless her puppet is seperated from her. It is equipped with flamethrowers on the palm areas, channeling her inert abilities, as well as boosters on her feet. While its strength doesn't particularly reach the levels of her true form, her dexterity and speed certainly exceed it.

True Form:
E3b38Sg.png

The true form of the she-goat, the Chimera, is unleashed. This mighty she-beast is thrice the size of any ordinary lion, and from floor to top, she is higher than any human. While possessing the appearance of a ferocious lion, the Chimera posses the secondary head of a goat to the right of its primary head, as well as the hind limbs of such a beast. Her tail is a serpent, complete with fangs and glaring ruby eyes. If you believe that you should be afraid of her, all I can say is that that is an understatement.

True Form Abilities:
The Chimera's flames are now much stronger, being blue. All her prior feats have been enhanced, from strength, speed and even durability - as evidenced by her thicker hide and scales in this form. The physiology of beasts, such as her claws, her fangs, her enhanced senses and more are much more evident.

Other Information:
Chimera attends school under the guise of a student alongside her sister, and is in the same class as Saturn.

(Left: Stheno, Right: Euryale)

"Time to rip and tear these motherfuckers."

"Agreed, whatever your vulgar mouth said."

Name:
Stheno and Euryale
(Both of their last names are Seto, in reference to their mother Ceto)

Age:
????

Gender:
Female

Appearance:
They both stand at 5'1, have the same weight of 90 lbs., and bear slender figures (though Stheno is a little bit jacked). Despite their convincingly human appearance, underneath their external hair are small snakes that act as additional eyes, giving them a 360 degree view. They still bear their short fangs, long snake tongue, and claws, though they can be mistaken for sharp nails painted with gold-colored nail polish.

Personality:
Stheno and Euryale are like complete opposites. While they do care for each other, often times they bicker, insult, fight, and argue. Other than that, they are really close to each other..."questionably" close.

To give a run down:
Stheno is passionate, optimistic, and hot-blooded. Euryale is cynical, reserved, and stoic.
Stheno only thinks with her guts and Euryale is calculative and intelligent.
Stheno has talent and likes to be creative and Euryale has skill and works to improve it.
Stheno isn't as skilled as her sister, but is stronger than her. Euryale isn't as strong but is more skilled.
Stheno is a carnivore and Euryale is a vegetarian.
Stheno is an extrovert and Euryale is an introvert.
Stheno has a loud mouth and Euryale is soft-spoken.
Stheno is a big eater and Euryale knows table manners.

Their similarities include being friendly to people and will not hold back their anger against those who threaten them and their friends.

History:
One of the many children of Ceto and Phorcys. Originally a group of three sisters with their youngest Medusa, they were all once beautiful maidens before they were cursed into hideous monsters by Athena as punishment for an incident involving Medusa and Poseidon (best be looking that up). As a result, whenever they gaze upon someone, he be turned into stone. Things starts to get worst when Medusa was beheaded by Perseus. For a long time since, the remaining sisters mourned for their loss. Medusa's death sparks their hatred for the gods and vows to one day find Perseus and kill him. Stheno and Euryale were never heard of since then and that's how their myth ended.

For some strange reason, the sisters found themselves in a different world in a form of which they were familiar of. Regardless, they decided to make the most of their new life as regular people among mortals. They both wonder if this is the work of the gods.

Abilities:
As mentioned above, the sisters' gaze can turn people into stone. However, they have learned to control that curse so that they can still see people without having to turn them into stone instantly. No special equipment required. Their claws are so sharp that they can slice diamonds, but Stheno's is a special case in that she can extend and fire them. The sisters have their own tastes in combat; Stheno prefers to go up close and Euryale prefers to attack from a distance. The sisters are also born immortal, meaning that no matter what happens to them, they will never die (the reason why Medusa died is because she isn't born a mortal).

Equipment:
Stheno bears no weaponry, preferring to use her claws. Euryale wields a bow and arrows, nothing special.

True Form:

Stheno
latest

Euryale
latest

True Form Abilities:
Doubled in sized thanks to their lower snake half and their hair now full of snakes which they can stretch and release venom. They also bear hardened scales that rivals to the Nemean Lion, though there are some places that are left unprotected for enemies to exploit. Their tails are strong enough to break down pillars and crush men in a matter of seconds.

Other Information: They attend school as students on the same class as the male lead.

"Hehe, I'm an innocent little girl, why would you suspect me?"

Name:
Scylla

Age:
???

Gender:
Female

Appearance:

1074.jpg

Her "feet" which are actually two tentacles that go up to her waist are constantly hidden in the cutest little wolf slippers...she unfortunately cannot take them off. These are like hand puppets that won't come off her feet. These two represent two of her dog heads

0.jpg

Scylla in her human form has three tails, one is a purple cat tail that she hides up along her back, her other two tails end in Jackal heads that move around all on their own however usually they wrap around her waist and pretend to be a belt, unsurprisingly these two represent dog heads 3 & 4

4ce9caa4f8fb034792434f4280a95722.png

The last of her two dogs are two massive worg pets. They follow Scylla closely whether it be beside or behind her. Despite their massive size if they get separated from Scylla they can move as quick as the wind to find her and can jump to hide in the blink of an eye, they are never seen eating as Scylla eats for them, they listen to her every command. As stated these are dog heads 5 & 6

Personality:
Scylla is a surprisingly sadistic woman loving to hurt other people, uncaring of what happens however she hides all this sadism underneath an innocent facade, pretending to hate swearing, hates fighting and other such things. She is constantly hungry always eager to eat, preferring meat but will eat anything placed in front of her to satiate her hunger. When she gets into a fight while she does want to get into the fight directly, she really can't cause she doesn't have any weapons herself so she let's her dogs and dog tails do the work

History:
Once upon a time, Scylla was a beautiful woman she had many chasing after her but she was too quick for any of them, her friends were nymphs of a set of rock pools that she frequented. She boasted to them about how she was the quickest on the land able to avoid all that were after her. The Nymphs constantly warned her not to boast near them as it was dangerous. One day during a visit to the nymphs she was spotted by Glaucus a mortal turned sea god and he immediately fell for her but like all the other men she was too quick for him. Heart broken from her leaving Glaucus went to see the witch Circe for a love potion. Circe however had different plans for she loved Glaucus and upon hearing that he had fallen for another she was enraged and such she poisoned the water that Scylla bathed in. The next time Scylla bathed her legs started to disappear, changing into a mass of tentacles her midriff slowly grew six massive dog heads whose necks were tentacles as well, lastly a cat tail appeared, through no fault of her own she had become a monster.

Because of this monstrous form Glaucus ran from her when he tried to win her affections again, this saddened her and as such she fled from the shores to an alclove in the middle of nowhere sharing the sea with Charybdis. As travellers past between the two, she would eat six people on a boat her most famous examples being when she ate people off Odyssesus' boat and off the Argonauts boat. Because of this a phrase was coined "Between Scylla and Charybdis" meaning having to pick between the lesser of two evils. From there, little happened to her, eating six people whenever people got to close, eventually she was slain by Heracles and sentenced to be a guard of the underworld for a time before Poseidon resurrected her into stone forever immortalized.

This however was not the end of her story, waking up in a town, looking almost halfway between her cursed form and normalcy. The first thing she thought was that she was hungry and the second was that she was happy that at least she wasn't a complete monster currently

Abilities:
Due to how she was turned into a monster, Scylla has an immunity to most poisons with the exception of other mythical poisons such as the Hydra's poison only having slight resistance to them. She's able to eat nearly anything and everything edible, from stale bread to day old milk she is able to stomach it. Additionally due to her six dog heads she has a dogs improved senses and she has the ability to camouflage into the back ground

Equipment:
Currently none

True Form:
d6f.png

True Form Abilities: All of her abilities are upgraded decently well, her poison resistance to mythical poisons are upgraded and normal poisons heal her a tiny, all seven of her heads are able to eat nearly anything and everything, including stone and metal. While she herself doesn't upgrade any further with her senses all six of her heads are able to smell and hear as well as her making it difficult to be snuck up on in her true form, on the flipside however her camouflage is upgraded to make her near invisible to the naked eye.

Other Information: She devours a lot enough to feed seven people

Official "Sword Girls" artwork by Cocoon, edited by me

Name: Eris; Erika Suko (according to human register); Ǝりース
Age: ??? (Has most likely existed since before humanity); 25-ish in appearance
Gender: Female

--Personality--
Eris has taken a liking to pose herself as a harmless naive daft blonde who has no idea of the consequences of what she's doing. With a playful, carefree persona, she'll be clingy, friendly and throwing puns all around as if aiming at a wall just to see what sticks and run with it. Expontaneous, energetic, chaotic. In actuality, Eris knows exactly what she's doing, calculating the best ways to rile up others, always up for throwing some spice into the mix, make a situation just as erratic and heated-up as her.
Mischievous, the Goddess plays mostly an observer part, siding with the weaker, oppressed sides if only in the curiosity of what would happen in case the status quo were to change. Petty, and yet rather bipolar, Eris can be having a furious tantrum one minute and suddenly be giggling in delight on the next. It's really hard to guess what she's thinking, but one can bet that it is probably not something good.

History: Born from Zeus and Hera, Eris' long story of being marginalized by the rest of the Gods had begun rather early, soon put aside by her own mother for not having the beauty fitting of a Goddess. As such, despite having just as much right to it as her brothers and sisters, Eris was not made part of the main pantheon, forever regarded as a lesser deity. In a way, it only served to solidify her already mischievous and petty personality, now harboring a deep grudge against the rest of the Gods and mostly Hera herself. And then, of course, it kept happening. Like with Páris' marriage, for example, which she promptly wrecked from a distance by making the goddesses Hera, Athena and Aphrodite dispute a pretty golden apple supposedly to be awarded to the most beautiful lady in the room. Can you believe how vain these women are? And just as petty, since that was the kickstart of the War of Troy. Truly Eris' greatest work to this day! The marginalized goddess enjoyed the conflict plenty, swooping into the battle together with her older brother and partner in crime, Ares, God of War himself. Probably the only of the main gods that Eris hated less. He understood her in a way the others would never do, plus they had a lot of fun taking in the wonders of conflict as a duo, cutting through enemies like butter! Ah, what glorious times...

The others? They treated Eris like a messenger of sorts, sending her around to wreak havoc as they pleased. It, was kind of entertaining in the start, putting lovers against each other, difficulting lost warriors' paths back home... But eventually, it had hit her. Hera and Zeus? Her parents? They were just using her and her abilities, like flaunting the parental love and acceptance that she had not and would not receive from them, ever. Aether, Primordial God of the upper sky, had helped soothe her pains for a while, in-between exchanged love vows and their 14 beloved children, --The Ἔριδες (Erides)-- and even so, it hadn't felt enough to fill the ever-empty space in her heart. No. Godhood would not do it, the Olympus would not do it. And thus Eris would turn her back on it all, sticking close to the mortals, closer than all of them, sometimes just watching, others playing one of her games.
This is where her story falls under the radar putting into question whether other personifications of chaos in other religions are really solely followers of her philosophy, or perhaps Eris herself seeking new grounds...

And as such, we've reached present days. Oh, the era of the internet! With the means to spread her influence from the cozy space of her own home, Eris was pleased, witnessing flame war after flame war. As always, humanity had the tendency of getting attached to the most ridiculous and pointless things, and as always to defend said things with tooth and nail. The online space was no different, a brewing pot of underlying conflict waiting to explode. It was the perfect playground for a chaotic deity and Japan, ah Japan, catering for mutual-respect and at the same time marginalizing what did not fit. The dormant tensions, the taboos, it felt like the country had been waiting for her embrace and Eris did not disappoint.
Running a podcast called 'GoldƎn A¶ple' (金のりんご), Ǝりース as she would be known online would start making reviews and raising up discussions of just about anything that is currently trending. The catch, however, is that the points made while well-constructed are constantly the most dilemma-inducing and controversial ones, aimed to rile up fandoms, political parties and more, on purpose. After she's had her fun though, Eris releases a public statement saying that she had no idea and apologizing for all the trouble with her dejected face on camera. They buy it, of course her fans would buy it, come on look at that face! How could you ever think that this innocent face ever meant any harm? Hehe~ Foolish mortal.

Oh right! The Cronus thing. Sooo, remember how it was in the personality section that Eris adores changes of status quo? And how she despises the gods for marginalizing her? Well, what best way to put two and two together than to assist the one entity that could probably overthrow Zeus and reign over the Olympus? Surely something entertaining will come out of that, and the Goddess of Discord would not miss it. Sure, for the first time she and Ares would be in opposite sides of the conflict, but eh, he'll understand it. Nothing like some good old sibling rivalry to kickstart the day, am I right? If anything, Eris' is looking forward to facing him in battle again, it's been a long time.

--Abilities--
  • Anger/Confusion Inducement: Upon physical contact of any kind, Eris can inspire negative emotions on others making them more prone to start an argument or even disoriented over something that had once seemed so certain. It can be fought back by individuals with extreme willpower, but to those that can't do so, her 'advices' can suddenly seem much more convincing...
  • Cartoon Physics: As the embodiment of chaos itself, Eris doesn't submit to the boring laws of physics and as such can move her own body in ways that a normal person would probably break their spine. Extremely flexible, Eris' body can rubberhose itself, come back from being squished paper-thin and plenty other looney toons-esque motions.
--Equipment--
Μπάλαμ (Bedlam), The Lance of Mayhem:

Eris' trademark weapon is a dual-sided lance of ornate hilt and unusual shapes, one tip extremely thin and excellent for stabbing right through, the other a bulkier, curved blade good for slashing with. Bedlam can then be divided into two, a silver-colored Rapier and a darker-hued Cutlass, named Ταλαιπωρία (Hardship) and Εχθρότητα (Hostility) respectively. The pole and final part of the lance can then be divided into the guards of each of the blades.

True Form: Eris, Goddess of Discord and Strife

--True Form Abilities--
  • Flight;
  • Conflict Empowerment: In this form, all kinds of arguments, suspicion and overall conflicts will empower Eris, accumulated within the Goddess to later be used as one of two ways: An overall boost in speed and resilience, or growth. Yes, it is said that later during the War of Troy Eris was huge, appreciating the carnage and joining the fight herself with heights larger than the city's own buildings.
  • Anger/Confusion Inducement Aura: Same as before, except that it is no longer restricted by physical contact. Now Eris can influence up to an entire city block radius only by being in a location, inciting a multitude with rage all at once.
  • Cartoon Physics+: Objects that Eris is interacting with may now also by-pass the laws of physics according to her will. Bombs may decide not to blow until the punchline, paintings can come to life for a moment, gravity may suddenly stop working properly on a section of the ground. Remember, Looney Toons stuff!
Other Information: So, Eris is an influencer and the Apple of Discord is now a podcast.
If you thought any of that was supposed to go differently, Eris is disappointed that you thought she'd be any predictable : P

Name: Himitsu Toru (Prometheus)
Age: ??? (Registry Labels Him As 26)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Anything to insert that ain't up there
Personality: Prometheus is an extremely calm and observant Titan. He takes in all the information he can and makes plans to move around obstructions in his environment. Possessing neither arrogance nor overconfidence. Prometheus is aware that he has neither the strength nor intellect of other beings. While seeming a bit cold upon first introductions. Those who get to know Prometheus will find that he has an incredibly kind heart. He gives advice to those who need it and helps out those who reach out to him. Prometheus loves humans and is proud of their many accomplishments. His entire lifes work is dedicated to observing and documenting the many ways humans shape the world around them. Prometheus has no love for either the Twelve Olympians nor the Titan Lords. Cronos mocked his intelligence and got his brother killed, Zeus made him a meal for an immortal eagle. BOTH of them abused humans, which makes them less than SCUM in the eyes of Prometheus.
History: Prometheus is one of the children of the Titans Iapetus and Clymene. Born alongside his twin brother, Epimetheus; Prometheus was often the smarter of the two. Where his brother was always good at analyzing how something COULD have gone, Prometheus was good at analyzing how things WILL go. Sharing his fathers calmer nature and his mothers ambition. Prometheus was the least problematic of his siblings growing up. In the Titan War, Prometheus naturally sided with his parents. However as the war went on, Prometheus couldn't understand why Cronos made so many cruel and needless decisions. His parents believed in their youngest sibling, Atlas had become second in command of their armies and Epimetheus put his faith in the other Titans. Prometheus lost complete faith in the cause when Cronos arrogantly shot down a logically sound plan that would have gotten rid of Zeus himself for a significant block of time, weakening Olympian forces. Lack of forethought and overconfidence cost the Titan army an otherwise winnable battle. Even worse, Promethus's older brother Menoetius was obliterated by Zeus because Cronos simply ordered them to "Charge". Epimetheus was also injured in that battle, just barely clinging to life. Prometheus cursed Cronos for not only hurting his brother but getting his other brother KILLED. Turning his back on Cronos, Prometheus joined the Olympians. With his foresight and knowledge on Titans. Prometheus was a reliable member of the Olympian Rebellion. After the war, Prometheus made sure Epimetheus would be exempt from the crackdowns done by Zeus on the many Titans who opposed him. When it came time to populate the world with new humans, Zeus asked Prometheus to perform the task. Having found humans both interesting and endearing, Prometheus took to the task with vigor. Sculpting humans from both natural and magical elements, Prometheus made a new human race.

When it came time to choose how they'd honor their gods. Prometheus decided to test the intelligence of his King. Choosing between simple slabs of meet and bones covered in elaborate rolls of fat for sacrifices. Zeus chose what he thought more appealing. For a while Zeus didn't seem to catch on to the fact he chose the lesser of two sacrifices. When it was pointed out by Athena, Zeus was livid. Prometheus tried to explain he was merely testing Zeus to see if he'd look before he leapt. Zeus didn't like his intelligence being tested on a whim. To punish Prometheus AND the humans, Zeus stole the secrets of fire. Warning Prometheus to obey him and stand down, Prometheus could only watch the humans despair. Prometheus knew what Zeus could do to a Titan who didn't listen to him, Atlas being the prime example. However at that moment, Prometheus could see that mankind couldn't SURVIVE without fire. Sneaking into Olympus, Prometheus convinced the Goddess of the Hearth to look the other way for a few moments. Swiping a few embers in a small bubble, Hestia told Prometheus that he'd suffer for defying Zeus. Understanding this, Prometheus fled to the Earth and shared the embers with humans. Zeus's fury was swift and brutal. Prometheus was chained to a rock and cursed to have his liver eternally devoured by an eagle. Before he was taken, he warned Epimetheus not to accept ANY gifts from the Gods. Trapped as a regenerating meal for his feathered jailer, Prometheus's anger towards Cronos and Zeus increased. Every day he was reminded that the arrogance and shortsightedness of two divine beings had forced him to this point. Thousands of years passed as Prometheus's hatred grew more and more.

Eventually he was freed by Zeus's own son, Heracles. Developing a fondness for the boy, Prometheus gave him a bit of advice for his quest. Venturing home, Prometheus was shocked to find Epimetheus nowhere to be found. It turns out that Zeus and many other gods had tricked Epimetheus into accepting a wife named Pandora. Pandora was jury rigged to unleash negative forces like death, despair and disease upon the earth via her own curiosity. Blamed by the gods for "Cursing" mankind, the pair were driven away. His parents were in Tartarus, Atlas held up the sky and now both of his other brothers were just GONE. His ENTIRE family was taken away by the Greek Gods. Leaving Greece, Prometheus wandered the world. Keeping to himself and watching as the ages went by, he discovered an incredible truth. Greece was not the only land of Gods. ALL lands had their own gods, holy spirits and divine beings. So Prometheus began wandering amongst these gods to find his way in the world. Sailing with the Vikings under Thors thunder, meditating on mountains with Krishna and even journeying to the west with Sun Wukong. Prometheus began amassing a bountiful hoard of knowledge, treasure and magical artifacts. Eventually he created a unique identity for himself in each age, with his next identity being a direct descendant of his last. In the modern age, he is Himitsu Toru. The young CEO of the Himitsu History Society; a world wide organization that owns many museums, vaults and warehouses. Settling in Japan, he maintains a close relationship with the Japanese Pantheon and their organizations. Having located the modern day version of Cronos, he wants nothing to do with her and pessimistically awaits the oncoming war between her and Zeus.
Abilities:
Divine Plunder: Known as one of the greatest thieves of legend, Prometheus can steal anything. From objects to senses to even elements in the surrounding area. Prometheus normally focuses this power as a series of bubbles, a wave or a blast. It cannot steal powers, divine relics or conceptual energies.
Foresight: Prometheus is the Titan of Foresight. He is able to peer into the future and see what will happen with absolute accuracy. This affords him an absolute understanding of what will happen at any given moment. The only downside of this ability is that it has to be consciously activated.
Life Giver: As the Titan who shaped humans from clay. Prometheus has the ability to imbue life into anything he comes into contact with. He can turn bricks into snakes, coins into ladybirds and even a car into a raging bull. His creations don't exactly follow his orders to the latter, but they're protective of him and usually act in his best interest. Due to the suppression stemming from his human form, he cannot create Humans.
Equipment: A pair of magical adamantine magnums that fire bullets enchanted with different effects and elements. Paired with Foresight or Future Sight, Prometheus never misses. Prometheus developed a fondness for revolvers during his time in the Old West.
True Form:
1588906778064.png
True Form Abilities:
Divine Plunder EX: The true form of Divine Plunder. It allows Prometheus to steal powers, divine items and even conceptual energies. It works on all entities and can only be resisted by those with a firm grasp on their powers and a strong will.
Future Sight: The ability to view all futures with borderline prescience that allows Prometheus to accurately predict how all variations of any move will be made.
Life Creation: The ability to create all forms of organic life, including humans and mythical creatures.
Other Information:
.Prometheus's Fortune is estimated in the QUINTILLIONS
.His office and secret storage spots are full of objects of great significance
.Prometheus still looks for Epimetheus
.Prometheus was entrusted with Masakado's Katana during the late 1920's by the National Deity himself before his slumber

Name: Naoki Futsuo

Appearance: Anything to insert that ain't up there
Personality: Naoki is fairly ordinary in terms of personality. He likes playing video games, hanging out with friends and current internet memes. He's intuitive and adapts easily to a lot of new situations. He misses his parents when they go away for work, yet never presses them because he understands how hard their job is. While clever, he isn't exactly the smartest and maintains decently above average grades. When listening to people like his parents or Director Toru drone on about different topics, he struggles to keep up with what they're saying. Naoki is known for being pretty straightforward when it comes to talking with people. Mincing words and deceiving others isn't his strong suit. Naoki always does his best to help people who need it. To build the boys strength and confidence, Master Yun would train the boy in the art of Eastern Swordfighting. When Naoki got older, he got a job running errands for his parents boss Director Toru. Between studying, working and training. Naoki's life seemed pretty monotonous and mundane. Making a wish for something interesting to happen in his life for once, Naoki was treated to a mysterious foreign looking girl falling from the heavens...

"Yes, it would be my pleasure to listen to your opin— Hey, what the hell did you just say about my work!?"

Name: Arachne
Alias: Kumo Saori
Age: ???, Looks 16
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Arachne has a short and petite frame, reaching only 4'10 in height. Although she made up and is using a Japanese name, her facial features give off a western vibe. She has violet eyes and a long silver hair fastened with a self-made hairband. Her appearance has nothing that indicates her true nature, possibly because it is her exact appearance from when she legitimately was a human.

Personality:
Arachne is smart, cunning and observant, able to blend into her new environment easily despite having no experience in modern society. A skilled actress capable of making herself genuinely look like a kind, sweet, polite and friendly girl, in spite of her deep hatred toward human for what they did to her in the past. In addition, she could be seen as a reliable girl with solemn, mature and well-disciplined persona.

The girl genuinely loves weaving and its modern iterations like embroidery. When someone praises her work, it can be safely said that her happy face is not an act. However, if that work is insulted, she will be consumed by blind rage, dropping all her facades and dealing with that enemy right away regardless of eyewitness. Fortunately, her handicraft is so great that it never happened.

Aside from such incidence, Arachne is a formidable tactician. She always plans ahead and thoroughly considers potential outcomes before making a move. That said, she is extremely prideful and arrogant and will always complete any given task using only what she is capable of. Despite her general impression of a nice girl, she displays no sympathy in harming others or taking their lives and even shown to have a sadistic tendency in fighting.

History:
Despite being a daughter of Idmon, son of the titan goddess Asteria, Arachne inherited no fortune nor divine status from her parents who died early. She then discovered weaving and found it to be only joy in her life. Starting at the early age, the girl developed unrivaled skill, able to weave exquisitely with effortless ease and had a particular proficiency in making tapestries. Her fame soon reached Athena, goddess of handicraft, who then came to challenge her into a contest of weaving. While both products could be said to be perfection and there was no actual victor, the goddess was enraged by the girl's absolute confidence in her skill that could be viewed as disrespect toward the gods. As a result, Athena tore her rival's work and beat its owner up so bad that the girl was forced to suicide out of shame and despair. Following that event, it was unclear whether it was a curse or blessing from Athena and under what motive, but Arachne had been transformed and reincarnated as the world's first spider.

Arachne had taken form of monstrous spider queen and lived on in wilderness, until one day she found herself waking up in an unfamiliar land on the far east, in an unexpected appearance...

Abilities:
Due to being a monster, Arachne possesses enhanced physical capabilities. While her strength and endurance might be inferior to other monsters, she is still stronger than a trained human. Additionally, she boasted outstanding speed and agility even for a monster's standard and can stick her limbs to climb walls and other surfaces. She can communicate with spiders both verbally and telepathically, gathering information from them or asking them to do her tasks.

she can shoot spider web out of her body. A silk made this way is unique and couldn't be found in any other spider web in the world. It is soft and flexible, but also strong enough to bind a monster with tremendous strength and hold the weight of a building without tearing apart. She can also bestow this ability to spiders in vicinity and have multiple of them shoot the same type of web at the same time. She can also make the web very hard to see and can place layers of them in advance

Arachne also possesses an unrivaled skill in weaving, taking much less time and effort then modern professionals and still ending up with a superior result. With the help of another type of special web that can imitate fabric, she can create things made of fabric on spot without any required materials. She also has an artist eyes, able to quickly memorize details of things she has seen.

True Form:
Spider-Queen-l.png

True Form Abilities:
While Arachne in her human form is already agile, revealing her true form grants her an extra amount of speed enough to escape even the most competent and readiness eyes. She can also emit poisonous breath with various ranges and effects, ranging from fatal to hypnotic without physical damage.

Other Information:
- Arachne is attending the same class as the male lead and is part of the student council member.
- She earns her living by selling her exquisite handiwork at high prices. Currently, she has enough money to rent all the room in her apartment if she wants.
