Princess and her Protector

The sky was dark with clouds pouring rain on the rooftop of a small two story cottage nestled on a hillside farm. Thunder and lightning would meet creating loud noises that frightened Lelani as she stared out of a window on the second floor. Brown eyes stared at the path leading up to the front door with anticipation. He would be here soon. There was a human coming for her, to protect her. The irony of the situation was that a human was supposedly going to protect her from his own race. She was dressed in a short black dress and black walking boots. Her long purple hair would fall over her shoulders hanging perfectly straight past her knees. Looking back at her bodyguard Cho she'd sigh. "Do I really have to leave?" she'd ask softly and close her brown eyes as she noticed a figure walking up the rainy pathway.


"Yes miss. It is for your safety. Now please come this way to meet him" Cho would speak quickly. It was dangerous to be out so far away from vampire territory but the humans would not be suspecting the princess to be handed off so far away from home.


"If I must" the young girl would turn quietly and begin to take silent steps towards the doorway until she reached the top of the hallway. Her pale hand would gently grip the railing of the stairs and lower her eyes as she followed behind Cho down the stairs. Cho was a large vampire with dark hair and muscle and came off as very intimidating, this was a reason Lela liked having him around. What would this new protector be like.

 

[Sakuto]

As the door openned, I stood yhere holding an imbrella my hair was short and silver, I was wearing a black shirt and jeans.


"Are you Princesd Leani? "I ask before kneeling in respect. My silver hair covering one if my eyes and I have a nice warm smile across my face, im abit muscular and I shake Chos hand as he grins at me knowing your in good hands.


"There's another Mandion where you will be staying at and its very luxurious" I add smiling

 

[Krisi]

The boy walks in just as Lelani had walked down the stairs. Her brown eyes stared down at him as he took a knee and bowed his head. Sadly the only thought was that he smelled delicious and fresh. Lifting her hand to cover her mouth politely she'd nod for him to stand and then listen to his words without giving a response. The thunder boomed outside and Lelani fought the urge to jump. Cho would walk over with a traveling robe and drape it around her, tying it at her neck with sad eyes. Lelani did not want to leave him.


"Luxury has nothing to do with this" her voice was small and her head was turned down so that her eyes could gaze around the floor in the cottage. How was she going to live with a human? He apparently only thought she cared about the finer things in life. Which is true. Lela would smile a very small smile at the thought. However she was being hidden so that at a proper age she could come back and save the vampires. Her powers had not yet matured and if the hunters found her there would be no order in the vampire world.


"I will miss you friend...please stay safe" Lela spoke to Cho with natural affection. She could see in his eyes that this was hurting him too as he had been with Lela since she was born. They did not touch, nor catch each other's eyes. Lelani would walk to the guy named "Zero" from which she had learned from Cho and stood by his side facing forwards waiting for him to say something. Where they supposed to leave now or stay for a while? Lela was unsure.


"What do we do now?" she'd ask softly.

 

[Sakuto]

"Its not for Luxurious reasons, the mansion is armed like a fortress for protection" I say smiling. "And if you want, Cho could tag along, I felt bad about hearing about this on my way here so I supplied an extra nice house for him if he wanted to join" I say smiling bowing respectful.


Zero could tell that she doesnt trust him but he was expecting that and wanted to earn her trust.


He walks to the parked armored limo in the driveway

 

[Krisi]

Cho would shake his head and speak slowly "No, I stick out and would draw in too much attention... it has to be this way... that doesn't mean that I won't be checking in you though." His voice was dangerous and almost threatening towards Zero but he'd turn and take his leave out the back door without another word.


Lela looked up and sighed. Being a royal was a pain in her backside. Brown eyes followed Zero as he walked outside to a limo that had been defense-ified. Her eyes would widen and she'd mumble "This isn't going to draw attention" as she rolled her eyes. She felt bad being so hard on him but she had to get her anger out first and then work on befriending the human. She'd wait for him to open the door then slide into the back seat. Moving over to sit along the side on the limo she'd sit perfectly straight and without moving or blinking her eyes. Pale hands would pull her purple hair over her shoulders and she'd being playing with it without thinking.


"So. You could call me Lela. I don't really like being called princess or ma'am." She'd finally meet his eyes for the first time and over look his appearance. Silver hair, dark clothes, a seemingly strong build. It seemed she ma be in good hands. The vampire council would have made sure he was prepared to protect her Lela hoped.

 

[Sakuto]

"Oh the real "defense" part is hidden the metal just looks like paint to anyone else" I say.


"I'm also one of the best marksman, swordsman and part of the Elite ANBU vampire squad, of course being the only human in there but I also posses unhuman abilities, I was also one of the people to help cripple the human defenses during the war against the Northwest Kingdom, the one populated with an army of 15,000 humans" I explan smiling.


"Don't worry Lela I plan on protecting you with my life on the line, even though im pretty hard to kill" I chuckle to myself

 

[Krisi]

Lela just stares at him as he tells her about his past and then nods her head after he finishes. "I see...." her brown eyes close for a few moments and then reopen as she lets a smile on her face "I am not worried. as long as we stay under radar I am sure neither of our lives will be risked." she wasn't going to reveal her powers to him though. They weren't mastered and still unpredictable so she didn't want to risk hurting anyone. Finally relaxing she'd undo her traveling robe and set it on the seat next to her. "So how far away is our fortress?" she'd ask with a slight giggle.

 

[Sakuto]

"15 minutes away and dont worry, were in stealth mode, we're blended in" I say smiling and rubs my silver hair and I do a hand sign and a Gemstone rose thats pure ruby and pure emerald appears in my hand and I give it to you.


"This is a gift that I made for you" I say smiling. "A token of friendship if you will, I'm guessing you don't trust me but I expect to earn it" I add smiling as I look out the window and you notice a scar on my cheek and one that seems like its hidden in my shirt.

 

[Krisi]

"I told you. I am not worried. Tougher than I look" Lela smiles politely and takes the gemstone rose in her hand. Smiling she begins twirling it slowly around to admire it. Lelani loves sparkles and jewelry so there was no way she could have hid her joy. "thank you" she says slowly and then locks eyes with him "Listen I trust that you can do your job. You are the first human I have ever met so I will just have to get used to not wanting to eat you" she winks at him and then goes back to admiring her gift. "how did you get that scar on your face?" She'd ask after a few moments of silence while laying her rose on her lap. She'd run her hand through her purple hair to flip it so that her hair fell to the left side of her face. As she waited to his response she would begin braiding her hair over her chest.

 

[Sakuto]

During the battle, one of the humans I was fighting slashed my face with his sword, luckly it wasnt a deep cut but it hurt like hell" I explain as I rub it slowly then offers my wrist. "You can have some blood I dont mind" I say smiling.

 

[Krisi]

"At least you survived" she'd continue braiding her hair and look at his open wrist with a pained expression "It isn't that easy.... even though you were transformed by us my bite can still affect you mentally" she'd smile a pointed-fang smile at him and tilt her head to the side "besides I ate this afternoon." She had been surviving on animal blood for the time being so that the humans would'n catch on to any vampires leaving the safe zone.

 

[Sakuto]

"Yea.." I look to the side gripping my chest knowing the scar there actually couldve costed my life. "But anyways, have you ever been out to parties?" I ask tilting my head looking out the window. "

 

[Krisi]

"Parties?" Lela would look back up at him with curious brown eyes "Back in vampire court we had balls and dancing. Do you mean something like that?" She loved dancing and hated the small talk that came with entertaining guests. But over the hundreds and thousands of years that vampires had existed balls had stayed a tradition and way of life for the royal families.

 

[Sakuto]

"ehh kind of like a ball but its like a club, not as formal" I say smiling pulling up a video from a club I dj'd at and shows you. "That type of party" I say chucking slightly

 

[Krisi]

"Never" Lelani frowns slightly as she looks at the video. The girls seemed to be wearing next-to-nothing as far as clothes went and it was way too loud for her ears. "That kind of lifestyle is not 'acceptable' of the princesses and princes of the royal families. Since I have no siblings I am the princess of my family, the Pyos, and therefore my time is spent being groomed for perfection" her brown eyes would look down to the floor of the limo. It must be nice to be able to go and do whatever you'd like as a normal person. The other royal vampires her age all had older siblings so they were able to live-it-up all the time with no worries or cares. "It looks fun though. Do you like them?" Lela was interested and curious now "What happens there?"

 

[Sakuto]

"lots of dancing, Depending to the ones I go to some people get drunk others dont, I dont usually allow heavy drinking in the club I run which is 5 stars by the way~ so its not trashy and it can get really fun, sometimes people get dirty but they take it back outside or whereever they came from" I laugh abit. "I have about 9 Billion dollors in my secret acoount, it helps keep the place up" I add

 

[The Hollowed]

(Sorry guys I'm back)


Tyler was walking thourgh the wood walking without his armor looking for a vamp he was supposed to exterminate it was a male and killed a family of three so he was deployed and followed his tracks leading into the woods where he followed him (looking like a lolly. xD ) and was ready to deploy his armor anytime to fight but he probably didn't have to sense it was a low level and was walking down a path when he heard two people talking and hid so he wouldn't be found and get in a unnecessary fights.

 

[Krisi]

"With all that going for you... I'm surprised you're working" she'd roll her eyes. It was great that the kid had a good life, but she was getting a weird feeling from him and always wanting to talk about how fortunate he was. Hopefully he wasn't trying to impress her. Sure Lela had nice things and money but she didn't let that define who she was or what kind of ruler she would be some day. They had been driving for a few minuets and Lela needed to use the bathroom so she would speak again quickly "Do you mind if we stop for a minuet?" she'd replace her traveling cloak around her shoulders and begin to pull it over her head. Calling upon her compulsion she'd surround herself in a force field that projected human-thoughts. If she was unlucky enough to come across anyone not expecting a vampire they'd just assume she was human and go about there business. However if someone was looking for a vampire it wasn't always effective and if they were specifically looking for her then that made the spell even more weak.

 

[Sakuto]

"sure, I say as we stop at a place near by and I let you outhaving the driver stay gaurd as I go inside with you and stays by the restroom as you go in to make sure no one suspicous gets in.

 

[Krisi]

The rain had finally let up and Lela made sure to take her time in the restroom so that she could have a break from conversation. Fixing the hood of her cloak back over her purple-haired head she'd re tie the strap around her neck and walk out into the night once more. Zero was there, on watch, by the door waiting for her as she expected. "Okay thanks." Lelani took a final look around and decided to stand outside of the car for a few minuets just watching the stars and moon in the sky. "I love the night....not just because the sun is deadly" she'd laugh at the last part. There was just something about being outside.

 

[Sakuto]

"Oh really?" I say curious. "ever walked on the cool sand at night?" I ask smiling.


"it really is nice," I say with a happy sigh. "I really like being outside weather from helping people to just relaxing in the cherry blossom fields" Zero kept talking rambling on and on enjoying the breeze then he noticed something off as he looked at the trees seeing a shadow.


"Lelani..get in the car now.." I say in a serious tone.

 

[The Hollowed]

Tyler was looking at the to suspiciously and said "what are two humans doing here" and looked closely one was a vampire and thought it was the vamp he was after and moved around in the bushes and accidently stepped on a branch making a noise because he's clumsy sometimes and stops his movement to not make another move thinking "did they here that because I'm suppose to be stealthy".

 

[Sakuto]

"Who's ever hiding you better come out, or be struck down by my lightning attack" he says as static charges through his right hand. "You have 3 seconds to come out before electrocution" I say in a deadly voice.

 

[The Hollowed]

Tyler thinks "damn get to come out now" Tyler gets up and walks out of the bushes with spirits flowing around him and trips on the ground saying "oowwii" as he trips.

[Krisi]

Lela turns to the car as Zero's tone becomes harsh. Her large brown eyes can't help but turn around and look for the problem. She placed her hand on the door of the car and heard the boy fall letting out a cry. He smelt like a male but was certainly feminine in appearance. "poor dear" she sighed quietly and turned once again to examine the situation. Noticing the boy was staring at her she'd push her compulsion harder to hide her vampire features and making his mind uncertain about what he was seeing. As long as he didn't fight hard against his brain Lela would be safe.


"I'm not helpless" she'd mumble towards Zero and cross her arms under her cloak.
