Three in the morning. The witching hour. A black SUV pulled up in front of your house, and you loaded your single allowed bag and yourself in, your partner taking a seat next to you. Your Pokeballs were confiscated for a quick evaluation, and handed back to you, if you even had any Pokemon in the first place. The ride was silent, and with a bulking bodyguard on either side and heavily tinted windows, it was hard to tell where you were going. You weren't given the exact details on where the base was located, but you were told it was somewhere equidistant from all of the regions registered with the Global Pokemon League. The gentle vibrations of the car lulled you to sleep.
One of the bodyguards shook you awake. The sun was up, so you had to guess it was around seven in the morning. Shuffling out the car, you were amazed to find yourself in something of a hangar, the roof domed in shape and multiple artificially lit tunnels leading in and out. Retrieving your bag, you were given a quick tour of the place.
The dorm you were assigned was just big enough for you and your partner, two separate beds and two desks with two computers, and a single TV mounted on the wall with a stray beanbag chair tucked in the corner by the bookcase. There was a window in the room, revealing you were in fact underwater as all kinds of fish Pokemon passed by or stopped to gawk through the glass.
Dropping off your bag, you were then shown the dining hall, the briefing room, training rooms and rooms for all kinds of sports, and finally a common room for socializing. The common room was littered with comfy sitting areas, anything from sofas to recliners, coffee tables and ottomans, and a single large TV also mounted to the wall, though this TV was only playing a real-time map of the world. There were also vending machines and other activities like pool or video games to do in the area if you so chose.
With the tour done, you were then instructed to stay in the common room until someone came to fetch all the new arrivals.
