  • Surtr, Guardian of Muspelheim
    Darius Cinead
    Overview Summary

"He who makes a beast of himself, gets rid of the pain of being a man"

The bastard son of an infamous elite four member, Darius is a man driven by the desire to prove himself superior to his father; to ridicule the man whom had cause his mother so much heartbreak and misery. In addition to destroying what his father symbolizes, Darius seeks to attain the strength to demolish the current system that enables people to succumb to their own ego, that celebrates and idolizes figures without shining light upon the darkness created behind the light shown upon them.

Since failing to achieve this goal on his own, he has affiliated himself with an organization named Yggdrasil.

    Physical Appearance

Darius stands at roughly 6ft 3 inches in height and is a well-built and handsome individual; his height a perfect canvas for the developed and well toned muscle mass sculpted across his body. In the prime of his life, Darius has nurtured a physical stature indicative of one who has spent countless hours in the gym as well as one who has utilized and sharpened these muscles in the wild where the natural landscape would naturally push people to their extremes.

Touched by fire, Darius is a natural red head; the rich and vibrant crimson of his hair further exemplified by the golden hazel of his eyes displayed within a sharp gaze. Born with a naturally fair skin complexion, the vast majority of Darius's body is devoid of any obvious visible scars; the only notable injury being the large cut down his left forearm; often hidden beneath layers of clothing. He does possess a tattoo along the nape of his neck; the emblem of Yggdrassil permanently etched across his skin.

In terms of attire, it is not uncommon to see Darius clad in dark coloured clothing; often seen wearing some variation of a black jacket; mostly with a fur neck line. Underneath is generally always a plain white shirt, if not a white wife-beater vest. The bottoms are almost always going to be black jeans with the rare exception being black cargo pants from time to time and lastly he will always have the latest pair of Trainers on the market; the universes equivalent of Nike Air forces. Of course this is not the end of it. In addition to his clothing he does wear several accessories, such as a Cross necklace, ear piercings and finally an obsidian coloured ring upon his right hand,

    Personality

A strong-willed and confident individual, it takes an almost herculean effort to get Darius to come close to feeling down in the dumps; thus it is often determined that the effort and time required to accomplish such a feat is simply not worth the hassle. Commanding a level of confidence hammered through countless trials and nurtured by experience, it was no surprise that he had quickly risen to his position of power and authority within Yggdrasil; the executive trainer reaching a position akin to that of a 'general' within the military. Built from what could be surmised as a genetic foundation, Darius quite clearly takes after his father; a man known for his own self confidence and never-say-die attitude; though where there path begin to differ is largely down to the input of his mother. While his father could have best been described as a reckless and wild fire threatening to overwhelm everyone with his confidence and bravado; Darius has instead learned the importance of control and discipline.

Thus unlike his father who quite often relied on brute strength in battle, Darius instead operates in a more methodical and precise manner; efficient in how he wields and exerts his own power when it comes to battling. Calm and controlled, yet wielding a power fit for destruction, the aura he quite often exudes can quite often prove to be a tad too intimidating for the newer grunts; despite harbouring no intentions of actually intimidating them. It is simply the aura exuded upon prey from one who stands within the upper echelons of the food chain.

Alas, despite being intimidating. Darius isn't really the type to use his position and 'fear factor' to control those beneath him. To be quite frank, he doesn't really care for the authority his position affords him and would much rather leave all the 'paperwork' and 'menial' task to those directly under him. In essence, he is quite similar to a Lion leading his pride; a man that quite clearly exudes authority yet would rather leave the work for others; only really stepping in when his territory or position demands it.

While he does try to epitomise the concept of a 'controlled fire', Darius does have a trigger; a switch that completely denounces everything he tries to uphold and that comes in the form of battling. To be precise, his switch is often flipped when he finds himself in a battle where he is in fact the underdog; the one struggling against a far more superior foe. Like a fuse, doused in oil and lit by a match; he becomes quite the fire spitter and talkative combatant; happy to spit venom and vitriol towards his opposition as he allows his 'inner fire' to run rampant. a bona fide pokemon battle is what truly gets him going; the fire in his eyes raging ever violently the longer the bout continues. The glimmer in his eyes as he is embroiled in combat with his trusted partner is often hard to miss. In the heat of combat, the problems that plague the world do not even exist; the differences between himself and the one he is fighting against do not matter. It is simply a moment in time where two fierce competitors test their wits against one another, where human and pokemon work hand in hand to defeat the opponent standing opposite them. With a smiling face, Darius will come at you without so much as a sliver of mercy in his eyes. He will wear you down with his colourful use of the modern language in such a straightforward and open manner that it would be hard to see him as anything more than a thug. A trash talker, eager to win the battle of wits and strength.

    History

The bastard son of one of his universes' elite four members, Darius has grown up in a world of shadow's, his life often overshadowed by the fame and notoriety of his infamous father. Raised solely by his mother; a woman who harboured no love for the man whom had knocked her up and left her, Darius was from a very young age raised to be the opposite of his no good father; someone who actually valued the importance of control and discipline rather than lacking the ability to do so; whether that came in the form of battling or their own libido.

Raised in an environment where his father was often an object of scorn, it came as no surprise that Darius would harbor ill feelings towards the man he had never met; the desire to act upon the emotions his mother held for him being a driving force in his quick rise to prominence as a budding trainer. His goal was simple enough. he sought only to put his father in his place, to trample upon the mans pride and arrogance as a well-loved member of the regions elite four and to make the man himself aware of the damage he had created due to his attempt to satiate his libido.

Alas, the time would eventually arrive for Darius to challenge the elite four; to challenge his father and to ridicule him in front of everyone. This would be the perfect revenge, the perfect stage to set things straight once and for all... even if his father was now a shadow of his former self; a decrepit old man who had long since given up the 'rock-star' life. Still... despite his father aging... despite the anger, drive and motivation reaching near boiling point within Darius... the red haired bastard would find himself at the losing end of their skirmish; a complete and utter rout of his team against the formidable veteran of the elite four.

It wouldn't be long after the defeat that Darius would be approached; members from an organization called Yggdrasil contacting him the day after the loss with an offer... one Darius couldn't simply refuse. Not only had they offered him a reprieve from the limelight... but they had whispered him promise of attaining strength, to have the backing of a large organization whose reach was global and a decent wage, should his services meet their expectations. In exchange for all of the above, he would simply have to work under them; to be the necessary muscle behind the various brains of the organization.

Initially sceptical, the final selling point that had convinced Darius to align himself with Yggdrasil was their end goal; a goal that promised the abolishment of Pokemon Leagues, the usurpation of power from these various organizations who glamorized the life of a trainer, fed into their ego via the hype and fuss generated by social media. The environment that existed because of the pokemon leagues elite four had created, nurtured and fed the ego of Darius's father, feeding him the belief that his position allowed him to act in the manner that he had done.
In it for the money and the power they afforded, Darius has for lack of a better term jumped upon the bandwagon of Yggdrasils rise to power; deciding early on that their rise to prominence would lead him towards a lifestyle he could be satisfied with; one based upon a hierarchy determined by power and those who wielded the power would enevitably find themselves standing upon the backs of others.

Considered to be one of the pillars for the organization Yggdrasil, Darius code name: Surtr is one of the executive trainers tasked with protecting and overseeing the research being conducted within one of the many facilities under the ownership of Yggdrasil. More a 'muscle' for hire than a devotee to the cause, Darius has managed to etch out a position for himself within the upper ranks of the organization as one of their more powerful executives; a battle hardened veteran specializing in an aggressive style of battle. Though his sudden rise was helped with the capture of one of Galar's infamous avian trio. Moltres.

On a far off island, located between the regions of Kanto and Galar, news of a sudden volcanic fire had begun to reach the news of every region. Long since believed to have been dormant, the sudden blaze that had engulfed the island's forest had caused many of its citizens to evacuate to safety; Yggdrasil providing aid via one of their 'legit' businesses. On the surface they had provided aid in the form of recuse vessels and resources; though that was only to distract from their real operation. Still within the earlier stages of researching 'energy' resources, they had initially gone to the island to gather information about the thermal energy being generated by the sudden activity of the volcano; some even believing that the legendary pokemon Heatran to be involved. Alas, they were not too far off their assumptions.

The volcano had indeed been spurned to activity via the actions of pokemon; a battle ensuing between two legendary birds of fire. Two Moltres's had been caught within a territorial dispute; the famed bird of Kanto embroiled in battle with its darker.. more sinister counterpart.

Proving to be too dangerous for even those of Yggdrasil; many of the researchers had ceased their research on the volcanic activity; their nerves buckling under the pressure of being within yards of two legends battling it out for dominance. Darius on the other hand had remained; his eyes transfixed upon the spectacle happening before him. With the aid of his pokemon Darius had watched the fight to conclusion; the Moltres of Kanto asserting its dominance over its brethren whom had fallen.

Hours would pass by as Darius searched the burning forest, eventually finding the collapsed Galarian Moltres; weakened from its fight and with a wing now trapped under a fallen tree. Inititally wary of one another, Darius seeing similarities between himself and this Moltres had taken the initiative; his pokemon aiding the wounded legend and freeing it from the tree. It would be during this period that the Sinister aura of Moltres would resonate with the inner demons that swirled within Darius.

Moltres would eventually fall under Darius's ownership; the duo both harbouring a desire for revenge against members of their family... both driven to attain power to achieve their goals and both willing to do what was required to achieve the goals.

    Yggdrasil

Yggdrasil, on the surface, they market themselves as an organisation devoted towards harnessing the mysterious power of pokemon as a means of developing a new sustainable source of renewable energy as well as rocketing humanity into their next evolution; sustainable energy and growth for humanity where their ambitions, though in reality they are an underground and shady organization that sought to claim power across the globe. By monopolizing and controlling what they believed to be an unlimited energy source as well as dangling the proverbial 'golden apple' in the form of humanities evolution into a newer lifeform. Their real goal was to become the leading authority and power over the entire world, to demolish the various entities across the nations such as the various Pokemon leagues and instead uniting them under their own control. The leading figures of Yggdrasil belong to the branch group 'Asgard'

To accomplish their goals, several research branches of Yggdrasil were established across the regions, each specializing in a form of research that would ultimately lead them to achieving their ambitions.

First there was 'Jotunheim', the department tasked with researching the mysterious power of Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing, an energy source found in Galar that forcibly grows pokemon towards giant proportions empowering them proportionately. While they had no interest in 'giant pokemon', they did harbor extreme interest in the mysterious power used to cause the drastic change. While others in Galar shared this idea, Yggdrasil would fundamentaliy be the ones behind the research; providing funding to other organizations as well as conducting their own seperate research into the matter.

Second was the department dubbed 'Vanaheim', tasked with researching the mysteries surrounding evolution and how the drastic changes to their appearance are merely the pokemon bypassing the natural cycle of growth that humans have to undergo between birth to adulthood to death. Unlocking the secrets of why pokemon 'evolve' could lead to humanity's evolution into a higher species. The higher up's theorize that humanity have the potential to evolve into a higher form and that presently they have yet to discover the triggers required to cause that sudden change. In addition, they seek to understand why only certain pokemon contain the ability to mega-evolve and others don't; thus part of their reseach is catered towards the discovery of as of yet unknown mega-forms.

The third department, Muspelheim focused their attention towards the Catalyst stones required to forcefully evolve a pokemon beyond what was naturally intended. While similar to the research being conducted within 'Vanaheim', those studying the effects of mega evolution were instead interested in the 'burst' of energy that occurs when a pokemon transcends their natural evolutionary line. Like Vanaheim, they too are curious to see if Mega-Evolution could be applied to humanity, though that is more of a side-project rather than their focus. The vast majority of their research is considerably similar to 'Jotunheim' as they are more focused towards the 'Burst' of energy as a power source. Their research oversees Mega Stones, Evolutionary stones and even the stones required for Z-moves.

Nithavellir, the fourth research branch is considered to be quite different compared to the others. This is largely due to their area of focus pertaining to an 'idea' rather than a proven concept like Dynamaxing and evolution. The smallest out of them all, the head researchers hypothesised that humans like pokemon also had the innate ability to generate, harness and control this mysterious power from within themselves and that their origin was more closely linked to that of pokemon than currently accepted. Nithavellir researchers are those that believe that Humans already possess an innate power; to put it simply. They believed that humanity; just like pokemon held the latent ability to produce moves in a similar manner; i.e. producing fire from their own mouths. It is currently believed that over time, Humans lost this ability; deviating from the evolutionary line into their own 'powerless' branch and losing the ability to freely manifest this power at will. While considered to be a lost cause; there is some evidence to support their hypothesis. The Legendary N of the now defunct Team Plasma, whose current locations are unknown is seen as evidence that supports their hypothesis; his ability to communicate and understand various pokemon being treated as a 'lost' ability of humans. Most recently, within the region of Kalos there had been rumours of a pokemon undergoing a unique form of evolution; seperate from that of Mega evolving or dynamaxing. What made this a point of interest was its connection to the pokemon trainer. Sources claimed that the pokemon visibly resembled their trainer and that it appeared as if their trainer was subconsciously mirroring the pokemons moves in battle.

Three other departments of research existed within Yggdrasil, 'Svartalfaheim' that explored the 'Shadow Pokemon of Orre', Alfheim that explored the existence of pokemon beyond earths atmosphere and lastly Niflheim that explored the circumstances after a pokemons death and the correlation to ghost pokemon. Recently however, these three departments have had their funding reduced in favour of the others, particularly 'Svartalfaheim'. After the concluding events of Orre and the lack of new relevant date, this particular branch of Yggdrasil has undergone the biggest setback and reduction to their funds.

The final branch of Yggdrasil is Midthgard. Considered to be the 'barracks' and housing facility of Yggdrasil, this is where many of their personnel come from. Holding their scientific research above all others, Yggdrasil took in many children and pokemon from around the world into their care, using various methods of testing to determine their aptitude as trainers, using this as a baseline of selecting candidates for their research purposes. Once of age, these kids would be shipped to these various branches where research would be conducted. Wildly accepted as being a key factor within the other four departments of Yggdrasil, a strong bond between Pokemon and Trainer was seen as a vital component of being able to generate this immeasurable source of power, strong enough to alter the forms of pokemon and strengthen them tenfold; the pokemon often requiring a catalyst such as 'great stress' to force the evolution or a strong bond to unlock the potential and break through the obstacles that limit their powers. Of course, in order to achieve this in humans, the roles were reversed and the trainer put through the great levels of stress as well.

"Three down is when I feel the rush. It’s intoxicating."

Name: Nora Starling

1692221569083.png

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Trainer Class: Champion (Hoenn)

First Pokemon: Surskit

Overview:

The young champion of the Hoenn league whose arrival in the professional scene came swiftly and unexpectedly. She is admired by many for her prodigious battling ability, and disdained by others due to her lack of any care for her responsibilities as a champion outside of maintaining the title.

Hometown: Petalburg City, Hoenn

Place of Residence: Ever Grande City, Hoenn

Personality:

Nora is rather prideful and egotistical due to her rapid rise to fame—since entering the league, she’s known nothing but victory and fanfare. This manifests in her blunt, harsh personality which often comes off as rude, as well as her arrogant “I’m better than you” treatment towards her opponents. She constantly seeks thrill and challenge, and is easily disappointed after an easy battle (which she won’t hesitate to let everyone know about). Her passion for her profession is somewhat single-minded, and she more often than not ignores the duties that come with being at the top. In general, she’s still young, and has quite a bit of wisdom to attain.

Her relationship with her Pokémon is tough love. She makes sure that they’re always performing at their best, working them hard in training. However, outside of that she always treats them kindly, especially after a hard battle. She views battling as a partnership, and acknowledges that the Pokémon are the ones who have to work the hardest, so she makes sure to respect them as equals.

Background:

As a child, Nora was always enamored with the Pokémon battles she saw on TV. She wanted to one day be the one being watched and seen by everyone. However, because being a Pokémon trainer was such a risky and uncertain career, her father did not want her to become one. She did not receive a starter Pokemon when the other children did; her father promised that she could have one once she was older and was on track to have a stable career.

So Nora tried her best to study and do well in school. But her heart wasn’t in it, and she felt she wasn’t built for this kind of work. She couldn’t stand watching other aspiring trainers around her growing and leaving her behind; it felt like her dream was slipping through her fingers. Still, she continued to try until the day she failed the exam to get into her father’s chosen junior high school. When she saw the results, she couldn’t bear to show them to her father. She couldn’t bear to continue on this path, so she left home and caught her own starter Pokemon—a Surskit. Well, she didn’t so much “catch” the little Pokémon as she practically begged it to jump into her Pokeball, which surprisingly it did. Perhaps it liked her, or maybe it just wanted to be taken care of—in any case, “Dew” became Nora’s first Pokemon.

Things were rough at first. Dew wasn’t a well bred starter Pokemon intended to help new trainers pass through wild areas safely, and encounters with wild Pokémon were often vicious. It wasn’t long until Nora and Dew found themselves outmatched. Luckily, someone came to their rescue, and Nora realized in shock that it was the current Paldean champion, an old veteran trainer whom she’d seen all too many times on TV. Apparently, he was in Hoenn for an upcoming tournament, and happened upon her while traveling between towns. She begged him to teach her how to battle, and surprisingly he decided to let her come with him—she became an apprentice, or sorts. Perhaps he saw something in her, or perhaps the old man was just doing it on a whim; in any case, Nora soon found herself traveling to the Paldea region.

For five years, Nora trained under her master’s tutelage. She learned fast and worked hard, picking up the tricks from the old man as she watched him battling in person. Sometimes, she would accept challenges from other trainers so she could try out what she’d picked up, imitating her master’s style and mixing it with her own intuition. He was proud of her devotion and rapidly growing skills.

Then came the crisis at Area Zero. Nora’s master was called upon to quell the emergency, and he left without her so as to not put her in danger. Nora tailed him, wanting to help in any way she could. On her way, she was ambushed by multiple Paradox Pokemon—luckily she was experienced enough at this point to fend them off, even managing to capture one. By the time she caught up, she found her master face to face with a pair of huge reptilian Pokémon: Miraidon. They each took on one of the beasts, managing to win and avert the crisis.

Soon after, Nora departed back to her home region, Hoenn, to challenge the league there. She won, and continued to reign as champion for two years until she was summoned to another, dying world.

Notable Achievements:

  • Successfully defended the champion title eleven times.
  • Assisted in managing the Area Zero crisis in Paldea .
Former Relations:

  • Champion of Paldea (Mentor)
  • Father

Overall Battle Style:

Nora tends to overwhelm her opponents with a highly fast-paced, offensive style. She is known for throwing out rapid strings of short commands. Her pattern often changes on a whim, as she is able to “download” her opponent’s style.

At the same time, she is also highly technical, and often relies on manipulating the situation in her favor through small tricks in order to put on more pressure.

Species: Masquerain (F)

  • Knock Off
Utility Moves:

Species: Gholdengo

Nickname: Dime

Personality:

Very independent, with a bit of a jokester personality. It tends to improvise a bit in battle, which gets on Nora’s nerves even when its decisions pay off.

  • Make it Rain

  • Substitute
  • Nasty Plot
  • Trick
  • Sandstorm
Utility Moves:
  • Recover

Species: Iron Valiant

Nickname: Valiant

Ability: Quark Drive

Personality:

Completely unpredictable. Sometimes follows orders with machine-like precision, and sometimes acts completely on its own. Nora isn’t quite sure why.

Backstory:

Captured in Area Zero. Nora was chased well off the beaten path by other paradox Pokemon, and unwittingly attempted to hide in Valiant’s lair. She was able to battle it and win. It’s the newest member in the team, but instrumental in Nora’s sweep of the Hoenn league.

Combat Moves:

  • Close Combat
  • Spirit Break
  • Wide Guard
  • Encore
  • Disable
  • Trick Room

  • Utility Moves:

Other Information:

Nora has cycled through many Pokémon for the sixth slot on her team, but none of them seemed to work well with her.

    First Pokemon: Carmen, Salandit.

Overview: A bold and daring thief who targets the breathtakingly powerful corporations and teams that hold sway in her timeline. Do you think Kyogre has a preference for what kind of human it prefers to crunch on?

"Pokémon can be many things, to any number of people. Anything from assistants for work, or partners in battle. One rule is consistent, treat them with respect and love and they will never abandon you." - Miiya Kyuuga

Name: Miiya Kyuuga
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Trainer Class:
Gym Leader

First Pokemon: Nidoran (F) Nina

Miiya is a kind and respectful girl that has lost so much. Her only solace is that she has her family. Her Pokémon who she loves more than she loves herself.

Hometown:
Geosenge Town
Place of Residence:
Now lives in Viridian City, Kanto.

Miiya is a sweet girl, who treasures her relations with Pokémon and people alike. Her Pokémon are as close as members of her family. After her grandparents who raised her, passed away she became a depressed mess and she withdrew from people aside from a few close associates and friends.

She is now a shy mess doing anything she can to avoid people. There are few acceptions to this rule other than battle, and seeing an injured Pokémon. Both are triggers for the girls more dormant nature that is repressed by her depression and sadness.

When battling she seems more open and determined. Her Pokémon's moods seem to bolster her resolve and keep her attention focused in the moment instead of her past. However once the moment is over and the battle is finished she worries over the Pokémon that where hurt in the battle regardless of who they belong to.

Miiya was raised by her grandparents in Geosenge town after her parents passed away in a rampaging Pokémon accident overseas in Kanto. Being doted on by the elderly couple was welcomed after the loss of her two wonderful parents.

Her grandparents raised Miiya much like one would have a noble child without all the fancy wording or money behind it. The family line tracing back to the times of nobility. Her family and most notably her hair and eyes consisting of a Duke's bloodline traits. Knowing of Kalosian noble etiquette and learning it from the age of six she had mastery of it by of ten.

At age 11 she set out on her Pokémon journey flying home on a Pokémon to visit her grandparents every month for dinner and to spend time with them.

Age fifteen, she became the champion of the Kalos region after beating Diantha allowing the previous champion to return to her acting career and have time off. Miiya took to the role of champion very well. Clearly suited to a role of being looked up to she was content with that. Being the pride of Kalos' past and future as champion.

Her reign as champion however would be cut short at the age of seventeen, during a incident involving Team Flare had destroyed her grandparents home in Geosenge town. Once it appeared on her watch as breaking news she rushed there to find her grandparents home. It had collapsed with them inside. She managed pull them from the wreckage of the modest cabin. However they were already passed on. This sparked a deep hatred and a vow of vengence against the ones responsibe.

The Wraith unleashed that day when she found Lysander, Team Flare, and the legendary Pokémon Xerneas. This weapon was dangerous and she had put an end to it. Calling upon a friend she made during her travels, a man named Giovanni. With ruthless aggression and a merciless attitude Miiya, obliterated everything Lysander built. Once finished the two high class trainers of them put Xerneas back to rest and brought Lysander to the police. With her final act as champion she ordered the conviction of every Team Flare associate and member. This included Elite Four member Malva who was tried and found guilty of funding and turning a willing blind eye to the illegal actions preformed by team Flare's admins and by Lysander himself. After nearly a year it was finally over. She could rest knowing that every single member of Team Flare and their supporters were now behind bars with no parole at a minimum of 7 years for each grunt, 20 years for each admin including Malva, and Lysander's 15 consecutive live sentences. Giovanni stepped in for her as Champion and used his resources with Team Rocket, a humanitarian group to repair the damages done by not only Miiya's rampage through Kalos uprooting any remnants of Team Flare, but all the issues Lysander and his group caused all over the region as well. Now that Miiya retired from her role as Champion, Giovanni gave her something to do with all her time. He recommended her to take over his Gym in Kanto to give her time to be alone, and she took to it. She is no longer seen in public. Electing to stay in the gym utilizing the upper floor as her home. (Yes she 100% uses the big cushy chair and sits on the balcony over looking the battlefield. Yes she also plays into her being of nobility welcoming her guests like a true Noble would. Her Nidoqueen Nina, tending to the guests leading them to the battlefield from the door.)

Notable Achievements:
*Ex-Champion of Kalos (Retired Undefeated)
*Grand Duchess of the Battle Chateau.
*Current Gym Leader of Viridian City: stands undefeated after 20 challengers and counting.
*Took down Team Flare erasing their hold on Kalos

Former Relations:

*Valerie Kalos 6th Gym Leader - Friend.
*Diantha Ex-Kalos Champ - Associate.
*Drasna Kalos E4 - Associate
*Seibold Kalos E4 - Associate
*Sabrina Kanto 6th Gym Leader. - Friend

Overall Battle Style: Unpredictable, purposely throws the tempo of the combat off to confuse opponents then slams them with sudden force. This off-setting style has caused most to underestimate the girl's battle prowess.

Species: Nidoqueen
Nickname: Nina
Ability: Sheer Force

Personality: Nina is a motherly Pokémon, reflecting the love and kindness that Miiya raised her with. However even with the fact that she was raised with such feelings it does little to stop how serious it takes battling.

Backstory: Nina was hatched from an egg given to Miiya from her grandparents on her 9th birthday has never been apart from her ever since.

Combat Moves:
*Body Slam
*Fire Punch
*Poison Jab
*EarthQuake
*Thunder Punch
*Outrage
Utility Moves:
*Protect
*Endure
Other Information:
Nothing important of note

Species: Corviknight
Nickname: Galahad
Ability: Mirror Armor

Personality: Galahad just like his namesake has a noble and virtuous temperment. He accepts any challenge and fights with chivalry. It won't attack a downed opponent until it is back upon it's feet or upright.

Backstory: Galahad was a obtained by Miiya from a trainer who couldn't control the Pokémon when it was a Corvisquire. The Pokémon's trainer at the time couldn't get the bird to respond to the commands it was given. Miiya offered a trade of a Pokémon she had recently captured in exchange for the Pokémon that had caught her interest.

The trade went by without issue, and when Miiya took the time to understand the bird pokemon she decided to name him Galahad after a knight from a story her grandpa told her when she was little. Sir Galahad being her favorite knight. Galahad was her 4th team member which replaced a Helioptile she caught while waiting on a fossil Pokémon Resurrection.

Combat moves:
*Iron Defense
*Power Trip
*Body Press
*Agility
*Bulk Up
*Rest
Utility Moves:
*Fly
*Taunt

Other info: none for the moment.

Species: Aggron
Nickname: Aegis
Ability: Rock Head

Personality: Aegis has been a stalwart wall of determination and undaunted willpower. Once her mind is set very little can change it. Even Miiya has issues getting her to listen when the Pokémon gets stubborn. This however has been more of a benefit to Miiya than she'd like to admit.

Backstory: Aegis was an oddity and found near Ambrette town. The Pokémon was rather hard-headed even back then. Miiya had fed the Pokémon and it started following her. It had followed her clear to Cyllage City across a beach which must have been extremely difficult for the little Pokémon at the time. When Miiya had noticed Nina was a Nidorina and her only Pokémon. So she gladly added the little thing to her party unknowing of the unmoving colossus she would have raised in the future.

Combat moves:
*Double-Edge
*Head Smash
*Rest
*Brutal Swing
*Heavy Slam
*Dragon Claw
Utility Moves:
* Stealth Rock
* Sandstorm

Other info:

Species: Blastoise
Nickname: Aquarius
Ability: Rain Dish
Mega: Yes

Personality: Aquarius like it's name implies a very creative and intelligent Pokémon. Coming up with cunning and creative solutions to issues. It took a long time for her to listen to Miiya due to it believing it knew best and occasionally it will still strike out of its own accord if it sees opportunities Miiya does not. This however gets her into a spot of trouble quite often.

Backstory: Aquarius given to Miiya by Professor Sycamore to assist him in his goal of studying mega evolution. Making it her third Pokémon. It wasn't until it got schooled by gym leader Valerie's Sylveon did it finally relent and begin listening to Miiya's instructions seeing the benefit of having another mind to assist her tactically.

It's first experience mega Evolving was a Cathartic feeling for the Pokémon and it's power and intelligence compounded with Miiya's battle style causes a massive amount of damage which Aquarius now respects.

Combat moves:
*Dragon Pulse
*Aura Sphere
*Hydro Cannon
*Dark Pulse
*Aqua Ring
*Mirror Coat
Utility Moves:
*Surf
*Waterfall

Other info: None at the moment.

Species: Armaldo
Nickname: Arma
Ability: Battle Armor

Personality: Arma being resurrected from a fossil, it has most of its instincts and violent tendencies. He is prone to anger, and is easily taunted. It is now more mellowed but is still prone to frustration.

Backstory: When Miiya had heard of fossil Pokémon she was super excited about the prospect of having a partner that was from the past where Pokémon were far more battle hardened and evolved to fight. Little did she know what she'd be getting into. Heading back to Ambrette town she returned there after receiving her 6th badge from Valerie thinking she'd be experienced enough to handle a Pokémon like that.

She dug around in Ambrette cave for who knows how long and finally found the fossil that would become Arma. Arma would ultimately miss the timing to become Miiya's 4th and is her 5th Pokémon by about a week because it takes time to have a Pokémon resurrected from a fossil. After waiting an entire month she gained her new partner. It was not what she had expected and much more difficult to control. So she was patient with the Pokémon as she was with Galahan and learned what made the Pokémon tic. She battled with it regularly in a controlled environment more than the wild to keep it calm and now the result is a aggressive but controllable Armaldo with a slight anger issue. Miiya is still to this day working on its anger.

Combat moves:
*X-Scissor
*Crush Claw
*Fury Cutter
*Aqua Jet
*Cross Poison
*Liquidation
Utility Moves:
*Rock Smash
*Strength

Other info:None at this moment.

Species: Reuniclus
Nickname: Psy
Ability: Magic Guard

Personality: Psy has a calm and tranquil personality. It's never seems to be shook up or lose its focus. Definitely the most level headed yet lazy of the six. It dozes off often but it always seems to be awake when Miiya needs him. It's usual payment is warm hugs or head pats.

Backstory: Psy, Miiya honestly felt stupid for a long while about not capturing a Psychic type Pokémon sooner. Psychic types are called mediator Pokémon, because they can assist their trainers with better understanding their Pokémon. Miiya in all her Intelligence felt really stupid for the first time. She had met a woman named Sabrina in Anistar City. Her team consisted of psychic type Pokémon and she claimed to be a gym leader from another region, Kanto. Miiya heeded the older woman's advice to get her hands on a psychic type Pokémon soon that way she could better control her wild natured Pokémon. Miiya wasn't sure about how Sabrina knew about Arma but agreed to find one before taking on the 7th gym. Sabrina after Miiya had asked for help from the expert of the type assisted in the search to find one. Find one they did, a Duosion. It was fast asleep, and she caught the Pokémon with little issue. This added the sixth member to her team bit it would be some time before Duosion stopped being lazy long enough to listen to Miiya. It was only when it evolved into Reuniclus while on the way to meet up with her family friend Wulfric for the 8th badge, did the Pokémon truly come together as a permanent party member. That is instead of a acting feelings detector and translator between Miiya and her other five Pokémon. Once Psy became more in tune with the dynamic of Miiya's team it understand that it had value and she loved it just as much if not more for it's abilities to greater understand it and her partners.

Combat moves:
*Recover
*Stored Power
*Calm Mind
*Psychic
*Acid Armor
*Energy Ball
Utility Moves:
*Ally switch
*Protect

Other info:None at this moment.

Keystone: Miiya's Keystone is clasped around her neck with the keystone being the jewel. The golden neck clasp is a memento of her grandmother that she had recieved on one of her trips back to see them. After the incident she had the keystone inbedded in the neck clasp so she'd always have her family with her.
What she doesn't know is that it was a piece of her linage to the past connecting her to that long forgotten Duke of Kalos.

  • 54e8d784639d10e78b86b038b2894880.jpg

    Personality:
Richard has a free spirit that his predecessors Hilda and Alder have. He reaches the peak without wanting for authority, a burden to his wish to be an unfettered wanderer without plans but for the grand design.

Richard is a gentle soul that does not wish for pain. He hardens his shell and dedicates his love instead for nature, for Pokemon and the air that he roams. Distance keeps him away from the anxiety and convolution a social web brings.

    Background:
After he fought the Champion, Richard realized that he did not really wanted to be the Champion. The League was his excuse to travel and see the world, and guiding posts for his journey across Kalos. Having fought the pinnacle of Pokemon trainer battle, it was time to go home.

Richard enjoyed his return. After a week, he guided local explorers dived into the depth of Reflection Cave. He discovered an ancient graveyard. There he found a Gengarite, the item that drew his Gengar Hunter at the first place. The master at the Tower of Mastery, after he showed his discovery, generously sold him a keystone. Then, Richard went to Route 11 where the Sky Trainers lived. He spent a week learning how to use the sky suit and cruised in the sky with his Gyarados Gora and Salamence Voilanc.

    Then... there was no then.

Richard realized that he never wanted to stay for long. So, he talked with his parents of traveling again. Galar was Richard's first destination for one sole reason: Corviknights. The sensation of flying was something he could not let go once he felt it. He caught a Rookidee and fought the eight gyms of Galar as he traveled the land. After defeating the 8 gym leaders, he visited the Isle of Armor and the Northern Tundra and all Galar had. He did not challenge the Champion.

Richard landed in Unova at the age of 20. However, his wish for a similar journey in Unova was halted by the presence of Team Plasma. As discontentment against the gyms peaked, Team Plasma revealed its fangs. Richard, during his arrival at Mistralton City, joined the Flying Gym Leader in fighting off the invader. It was during this unfortunate fight that his Gyarados fell to a concentrated attack from five electric Pokemon.

The lost hurt. Richard had to retire some Pokemon before, but never death. The attack was stopped after a 14 years old trainer named Hilda defeated Ghetsis, but it did not bring Gora back to life. Richard realized how lucky he had been so far. That he had not met any accidents on his travel. That the people he met were kind.

After the authority stabilized the situation, Richard went to challenge the gyms of Unova. Something was different this time; a drive. He beat the the gyms in swift succession and found himself at the Pokemon League once more. The Elite Four fell with some effort, but against the newly crowned Champion Hilda, Richard had no chance.

This time, Richard did not falter. He left and returned to fight Hilda again on the next tournament. He failed. He waited for another year... and lost still. Yet, Hilda offered him the Champion title. I want to travel, she said. Hearing the answer he was very familiar with, Richard laughed. Having stayed in Unova for three years, he felt a belonging to the city. With rumors of Team Plasma rising once more around, he agreed to take the title. As for dreams of traveling... Well, that could wait another time.

Richard destroyed Team Plasma to their roots in the years that followed.. Now with the tension away, Richard yearned for freedom again. The distant Alola and its Ultra-Beasts sounded interesting... but no one could take his Champion seat yet. No one was strong enough to take the responsibility over.

    Oh, well. He could wait.

    Gender: Male
    Age: 22
    Trainer Class: Ace Coordinator

    First Pokemon: Paquita "Qiqi" (Fuecoco)

Overview: A starlet coordinator and battler, flamboyant & hawkish on stage but an (unwillingly) intrepid bookworm everywhere else. Fabian scoffs at brutish battlers, those who favor raw power and who've never even entertained strategy or creativity. He seeks to prove that not only can coordinators be every bit as powerful as pure battlers, but their uniquely creative skill set may even set them above. Unfortunately, Fabian is only a part-time coordinator, because he also works to keep Ari out of trouble—a full-time job.

With dreams of being a great hero, he’ll always put himself at risk to save someone and can’t refuse a person or Pokémon in need. He'd fistfight Arceus itself if it meant saving someone, human or pokemon.
