On an island, desolated from the rest of society, lies a legend. It is rumored that deep within the caverns of Mount Ignis, lies the legendary bird pokemon, moltres. The island is completely devoid of human interference, at this place pokemon are at the most primal form. They are stronger than your normal breed, and more cunning as well. They are vicious, and untrusting of their new human invaders.
Professor Aspen, a young student of Professor Oak, has taken it upon himself to begin studying the surrounding area, though he is going to need some help. He has sent out flyers advertising a ship, and an adventure. Those who wish to aid them are given a Pokemon, and a Pokedex to help explore the island. Though, these volunteers are not yet aware of the dangers that lie on Phoenix Island.
