Backstory: JC grew up the daughter of Lilly Kane, a Pokemon researcher. Lilly's not a professor nor is she tied down to any particular region as she's moved with her two kids to various regions to research various things. JC, stayed with her mother and little sister, Dawn. She was given a Pokemon at age 10, a Charmander she nicknamed Dragon. Dragon was her only partner and it eventually evolved into a Charizard. After he evolved Dragon became super aggressive towards Pokemon and sometimes humans. After an Incident where Dragon almost attacked Dawn, JC decided that it would be best if she left her family until she was able to train him. In addtion to this she believed that perhaps taking on the gym challenge would be the best way to do that. Ofcourse, she has been super nervous and even scared about using him, knowing what he did. She doesn't know why he became so aggressive.

Appearance: 5’9 with messy black hair and green eyes. He usually wears a plain white tee with a red vest with green and white stripes along its bottom and tips of the sleeves. He also has on a pair of black jeans with a matching pair of black and white sneakers, along with a rainbow wing that he fashioned into a necklace he constantly wears, though it might be fake not that he cares.

Backstory: Growing up in the mostly barren landscape that was the Orre region wasn’t exactly easy, but Issac wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. He was born to a family of merchants in Phenac City who made yearly trips to Gateon Port to deliver their wares to companies who would ship the goods to other regions. One day a few years ago however, one trip went horribly wrong as an enormous sandstorm blew in and caused his parents to get lost and vanish within the swilling sand, with his younger sister Diana rushed into the sandstorm to find them only to disappear as well. A few weeks later he came to realize that he should come to smile regardless of the sad things going on around him.

Soon after Issac started on his path as a trainer he found the three locations that wild Pokemon are said to dwell in Orre and upon receiving the proper equipment started hunting wild Pokémon to add to his team, and once he had obtained four Pokémon decided to challenge the Prestige Precept Center, Pre Gym for short. It took a few attempts before he was able to defeat the leader, but afterward it was recommended that Issac travel to a different region to challenge actual gyms so he could improve as a trainer. Upon deciding on going to Kanto the young man packed up his bags gave his farewells and hoped on the next boat to Kanto, eagerly awaiting the change in scenery.

Name: Diana Necro

Age: 15

Appearance: A 5’2 tall girl with black hair that goes halfway down her back, though strangely it has a slight purple tinge along with green eyes that are constantly locked into a cold, almost robotic, expression. She usually wears a maroon vest over a navy blue shirt, along with a black skirt and white boots. She also sports a silver pendent in the shape of a crescent moon.

Competition type: Gyms Primarily, but will partake in contests if someone manages convince her to try them.

Backstory: A month after she disappeared in a sandstorm Diana was found outside the edge of Pyrite Town, unbeknownst to her brother, and was emotionally dead. She then spent the next few months taking care of a Ruflet that was abandoned outside the city, even though she often found its personal greeting to be irritating, and after a while she was allowed to keep him as her first Pokémon.

Some time after obtaining Bastion Diana got her hands on the equipment necessary to track and capture the wild Pokémon of the region, and then once she had captured three Pokemon she began to battle in Pyrite Colosseum to support herself, gaining quite a few Tms i the process. There she became known as a terrifying strategist who performed more like a machine than a human being, leading her to win quite a few of the arena’s tournaments as a result of her ruthlessness and cold, logical way of thinking. Though after a few years the nightmares she had been secretly suffering from began to increase in intensity, causing her to leave the region under the guise of wanting to expand her knowledge, just so she can search for anyone who would know how to fix her “nonsensical nighttime aberrations”

Additional Information: she will obtain this Pokemon soon after encountering the Main group in Cerulean, other than that Diana has decided to never let Rara battle for some reason, and instead will constantly be hugging her like a teddy bear whenever she has her on hand. Her nature is Timid.

Spoiler: Ruth Diane Kenned-InActive

Name: Ruth Diane Kennedi.

Gender: Female.

Age: Seventeen years old. [ d/o/b: sixth of december. ]

Appearance: Ruth is shorter than average, standing at around 5'2; whilst short, her personality makes up for it. Her long, light brown and slightly wavy hair reaches down to around the middle of her back and is usually left down instead of tied up. She has pale skin, making her light blue eyes stand out. [ see picture for more information. ]

Competition type: Ruth will be competing in gym challenges mostly, but will also be competing in contests when she has the chance!

Backstory:
Born and raised in Kalos, young Ruth had an amazing childhood. Whilst an only child, she had plenty of friends, hence never being lonely. Her parents and her were very close. However, there was one rule that tore them apart as she had grew older.


‘Ruth, you’re not allowed any Pokemon- nor interact with them.’


In the past, both of her parents had interactions with Pokemon which left them more than just a bit biased. At the rule she was heartbroken, it first being revealed when she found a small Rattata and brought it into the house to show it off, thinking her parents would be proud of her. Their response was the opposite; her mother being frightened and her father shooing the Pokemon out of the house before gently, yet strictly lecturing her about it.


This was the start of many debates between the family, until she overheard her parents talking about her uncle on her father’s side. A breeder, who adored Pokemon as much as she did. Bursting into the room, she had asked whether she could go live with him partly; staying with her parents on certain days and him on others. Whilst reluctant, they allowed her to. They didn’t want her hurt, but they knew her uncle, Elijah, would be able to take care of her. Maybe something would turn her away from Pokemon whilst she lived with him.


However, that only fueled her love for Pokemon. As her uncle was a breeder, she was able to help him with simple jobs at first, such as watching over eggs which slowly turned into harder jobs like helping him manage the farm that he lived on and the Pokemon residing on it when she was older. She was able to meet Elijah’s children, one who was a newborn and the other who was close in age to her when she was six, along with his wife, who were all extremely welcoming. She had gone to permanently living on the farm land, whilst still going to visit her parents once in a while.


At around fourteen, there were several responsibilities she was in charge of. Feeding the mareep and grooming them, making sure eggs were well cared for and helping the Pokemon inside once hatched were some of them, along with cooking and baking for both her family and the Pokemon to give them treats. At that age was the first time she was able to ride one of the Pokemon, which was a Rapidash- her uncle’s. That was always one of her hobbies from then on, adoring the thrill she earned from it.


Then, she saw an egg hatch. Out was a small Blitzle. She was still fourteen, soon to be fifteen at that time. When her father told her it could evolve and she could ride it when it did, she was amazed. Every one of her days was spent with this Pokemon, nurturing it until finally, with her uncle’s help to train it, it evolved into a Zebstrika. ‘Strika’ was the name she came up for it when she first rode it, due to its speed and partly because of its name. That was her main Pokemon on the farm.


At the age of seventeen, she decided to finally go on her own journey. Adopting a random egg that was abandoned in the farm, she had set off to go to the very beginning of the first route to do so. On the way, it had hatched into a curious Chimchar. Athena was the first name that sprung into mind after seeing it demonstrate its power proudly.

Aditional Information: Athena was an egg that was abandoned at her uncle's farm that she worked at. When she went on her journey, she decided to take the egg with her to raise it as her own first Pokemon. When hatched, out came the Chimchar!

Aditional Information: Theodore was the second Pokemon she caught. When Athena and her was having a break, the Glameow had came and stole some of the food. Ruth had offered the Glameow some more, and it ended in her catching the Pokemon when it warmed up to her. Theodore, whilst extremely loyal to Ruth, is often stubborn to others; hissing and glaring at both Pokemon and Trainers.

Aditional Information: Whilst exploring, Ruth, her Glameow and Chimchar had came across a small pack of Growlithes, who were all playing together. One was alone, however; its fur being golden instead of red. She was able to recognize it was shiny, which made her overjoyed. She had went over to it, and almost straightaway when she paid attention to it, it seemed to get lively instead of upset, letting out content barks as she briefly played with it. In the end she managed to catch it.

Appearance:

Luna has a shorter and thinner appearance along with purple hair and eyes. Her style is more around girlish and casual. Mainly sticking with some type of cardigan, skirts, leggings, graphic t-shirts, sneakers, and/or flats.

Hometown: Frankly put, none. She was however born in Hearthome City in the Sinnoh region.

Competition type: She will be doing/attempting all the gym challenges and most if not all of the contest.

Backstory: Luna was born in a family who absolutely adored pokémon in many different ways. Whether it be for battling, researching, or many other things. Both of her parents are fairly good trainers who have quite a few years of experience up their sleeves. While the pair didn't really participate in gym battles or challenges, therefore only having maybe three or four badges despite having been to plenty of different regions catching a good amount of pokemon. Luna and her family have been traveling a lot due to her parent's love for seeing the world and new pokémon.

Her two older siblings, Selena and Angelo, have spread to different branches to show their love and knowledge for pokémon. Starting with the oldest, Selena is aiming to be a great pokémon performer within the Unova region. Angelo, on the other hand, had been more into taking care and breeding pokemon. He's currently spending his time in the Alola region.

Luna herself has a great amount of admiration and respect for pokémon and their fighting skills. Unlike her older siblings, Luna would always watch her parents pokémon battles and even watch pokémon tournaments on tv or online. Being almost all over the globe, Luna has had the amazing opportunity to see many different types of pokémon in many different types of environments.

However, soon after her older brother left off on his own, his parents decided to settle down for a bit. While Luna was very into pokémon battles, she wasn't sure if she wanted to become a trainer herself. At this time she had already been given Fomantis that had been bred from a pair of her parent's pokémon with the help of her brother. Since then Fomantis, now known as Manny, and Luna had become inseparable and are almost always seen together. The fact that Manny was like her best friend at the time made her reluctant to send him off into a battle. So she didn't.

After about a month or so in the Kalos region, her parents suggested that she get a starter pokémon and pokédex from the local professor. Quickly after gaining her 2nd pokémon, Chespin who's also known as Chestnut, she was challenged to a battle from her parents. A two on two pokémon battle. One pokémon from each of her parents against Manny and Chestnut. In the end, Luna lost, of course, even if their pokemon were all around the same level, she just lacked the experience of a trainer. However, this was the initial spark that made her one thousand percent sure she wanted to become a trainer like her parents.

Soon later Luna's parents booked her a trip to the Kanto region to start her journey. While there were plenty of other regions to start at, this is where her parents had started their own journey long ago and they wanted her to kinda follow that tradition, if it can even be called that. Luna was also given an Aduino, Eliza, to help keep Luna and her pokémon in tip-top shape should they find themselves in a tight spot and not in close range of a pokécenter.

As of now, Luna is a bright young woman who's just landed in the Kanto region ready to beginning her adventure with two main goals in mind. To collect every gym badge in existence and to complete every region's pokédex. A goal that would take years to complete. A small yet very important side goal would be to make more friends, as she was always traveling it was hard to keep or even make friends. Plus her parents strongly suggested this to her be it for extra safety or for just the sake of having a friend or teammate. So that's exactly what she intends to do...hopefully.

Backstory:

When Koranna turned 12 instead of traveling with her 4 brothers she decided to stay back and help out with her parents figuring out as much as she could about Pokemon. When she was just turning 16 she caught a glimpse of a Pokemon contest on TV after that it was no question she was going to become a coordinator. Knowing what she was going to do she set out on her Pokemon journey dreaming of becoming the best coordinator in all of the Pokemon universe with the thought of looking for her brothers in mind.

Koranna is originally from the Unova region she was born and raised there which means her parents are also well known researchers from that region. When she was 16 she chose her moody Oshawott as a starter and it just recently evolved into Dewott. Halfway to the age of 17 Koranna found herself on a ship across the sea to the Sinnoh region and this where she met her best Pokemon ever, Ace. (aka Staraptor)

Koranna stayed in the Sinnoh region until she was 17 observing Pokemon contests to see how she could be a coordinator herself. One day she overheard one or idles talking about how they started in Kanto and worked their way to being who they are now in Sinnoh. Koranna knew where to begin her journey! She set out on Ace that same day to the Kanto region.

Appearance: Auggie has rose gold blond hair that is naturally styled. He usually doesn’t do much with his hair at all...He just wakes up, and suddenly his hair is spiky! Something his brothers were always jealous of. His eyes are deep leaf green color that match his green collared shirt he’s often seen wearing, then Auggie has a white headband he wears. As for pants? He usually just wears holy disgusting jeans. Auggie doesn’t like changing into new clothes...outta all of his brothers and one sister he is the least organized.

Backstory: Auggie is the youngest of outta of his 3 older brothers and he also has a younger sister, Koranna. His backstory is similar to Koranna’s in that he grew up in the Unova region under his parent’s care who were scientists. Auggie and Koranna’s paths separated when Koranna refused to travel alongside them when she turned 12. Auggie admired his older brothers so much! He wanted to be just like the three of them, this also resulted in his rudeness toward Koranna.

Auggie was by far the most childish out of all his brothers, and from that note he was taken advantage of. Auggie’s older brothers aren’t the greatest of all trainers to be around...very cocky, and have a lot of pride in themselves. Auggie remained beside his older brothers until he was 18 then he decided that he was old enough to be alone. From there on Auggie became probably one of the best trainers Unova has seen. Auggie competed in all of the gyms of Unova, and then became eligible to compete to be the champion. Auggie decided against that opportunity, and decided to maybe try and rebond with his sister.

After he found out his sister decided to go on his own journey, he took the responsibility upon himself to try and find Koranna. Auggie took a 3 year life journey throughout the Unova region in hopes his sister would be around, however just after he turned 21 he found out Koranna has been in the Kanto region chasing her dream of being a coordinator. Through the ships of the world of Pokemon Auggie traveled to the Kanto region where not only is his goal to find Koranna, but also discover more and more about Pokemon, and also taking down the Kanto gyms.

THE ASPIRING RESEARCHER.

Summary: An aspiring researcher traveling with the group both to study the Pokemon they happen across and the relationship between said group and their own Pokemon as they tackle the Gym Leader challenges in various regions. In short - Pokemon trainers make for great research material.

Backstory: Although not from a family of notability, academia runs in Silas' blood. His mother forfeited her own opportunity to journey throughout their home region of Kalos to start up her own tiny lab. Though never reaching enough recognizability to reach Professor Status, her works have gained enough traction to be found on library shelves here and there. Due mostly to his mother's influence, Silas' entire childhood surrounded around Pokemon. There were always various species coming and going from the lab, the occasional trainer dropping in for advice on something, and even the lab staff's own Pokemon who lingered about and entertained the boy when not providing assistance.

Growing up around researchers meant learning about Pokemon on a more academic level versus an experience-based level. His emotional connection was limited compared to academic curiosity, something that Silas sought to change after one particular meeting with a random mouthy yet honest trainer had him second-guessing everything he knew about Pokemon. In the end, unlike his mother who chose to rely on books and the data occasionally shared with her, Silas chose to leave home for a more hands-on approach with his Absol {Spade} in tow.

He attempted to take on the Gym Challenge for about three days before deciding a focus on competitive battling just wasn't meant for him. He didn't have the ambition or the edge needed to tackle it seriously. Instead, he focused on travel and study, Absol keeping its trainer safe as he spent months on end in different cities to record data on not only the Pokemon living in the area but the way residents interacted with them. By the end of his second year away from home, he'd figured out he wanted his focus to be on Pokemon and Human interaction - even if he didn't yet know the specifics.

Though he was finally beginning to make some progress with his research through his own experience, he knew to get the real data he was searching for he would need to surround himself with those of a more competitive nature - those who trained countless hours with their Pokemon and sought more than just companionship, but victory. Hence, at seventeen he finally forwent the anti-social wanderer path and reaffirmed his place in society as a research-aspiring trainer by abandoning Kalos for a new region entirely.

Well, sort of.

It's still rather impossible to convince him to go through with the Gym Challenge but he has fewer qualms battling other trainers now, at least. It isn't like he can get the data he wants to compile otherwise. He can still be found taking notes in odd places while Absol tugs at his shirt collar to make him go in the shade with alarming regularity, however. Much to the irritation of his mother, he has seemed to silence his associations to the family lab, wanting no restrictions in his hands-on research style. Though this doesn't mean he has any qualms occasionally spitting out his mother's name to get access to information and locations he otherwise would have been barred from if not the son of a semi-recognizable researcher.

Additional Information:
A Pokemon acquired through gifting. Originally the subject of his mother's study, Silas officially became Absol's trainer after his tenth birthday when his mother gave him Absol's Pokeball. The two possess a strong attachment to one another, especially given that Silas practically grew up with the Pokemon. Absol is somewhat stern with Silas, arguably acting as the boy's impulse control in place of his mother on many occasions. The white tuft of fur over his right eye is split towards the end, making it distinguishable against others of its species.

Additional Information:
One of the three general starter Pokemon a trainer receives in Kalos. Rather than receiving Fennekin from a Professor, he actually received the Pokemon as a nondescript egg after doing a series of favors for an elder and was nothing short of surprised when their egg hatched. Fennekin seems to prefer Silas' shoulder versus staying in his Pokeball but his fiery temper and knack for trouble keeps him from letting them stay out for too long. Fennekin's evolutionary cycle has finally forced Silas to put more effort into actually training his Pokemon and arguably is one of the key reasons that Silas' battle sense has managed to improve.

Now she’s stuck with her mother, her mother was also accused of murdering her son and husband so she blamed it on Bear and now she is wanted in most parts of the region( which is where she hides herself as Bear) btw her mother didn’t let her get a Pokémon until 14 and Bear was the last one to get her Pokémon.

Backstory: Though he was born in Hoenn he and his family traveled a lot because of his farther being a pokemon researcher. Like his farther he found a sort of love for the creatures and studied them wanting to be like his old man someday. On his tenth birthday he was given a shiny ralts. He was so happy he named it after an old friend of his back in Hoenn Tess. He and ralts spent much of his tenth and eleventh year playing together. As they both formed a strong bond he continued his studies though his mind went on to think of gym challenges thinking he might actually be able to pull it off. When he was twelve he told his family that he would like to participate in a gym challenge. His farther became furious saying that pokemon are not expose to fight against each other and forbid his son from participating.
When he turned fourteen while on a trip to Ahlola he went off by himself and found a poliwag stuck under a fallen tree. He heard it's cry for help and got it to saftey. He spent a whole day at a pokemon center sitting beside the poliwag as the nurse tried to heal it. After it got better the Poliwag jumped into Drew's arms.

At seventeen tragedy would strike as his farther was killed by an aggravated Aggron. His family was sent into a downward spiral. Drew would spend his fifteenth year trying to get jobs so he could help his family. Eventually his mother was able to get a decent job as a baker. When he turned eighteen he left home and used what earnings he had saved up to get a one way plane ticket to Kanto. He figured if he became champion his mother will be able to used the money to live off of.

Her parent's ran a Pokemon ranch, and was always fond of the bond building aspect more then the fighting. Her parent's gifted her with an Eevee, caring for her and loving her enough that she eventually evolved into a Sylveon. But the ranch went under, and they had to move, leaving behind most other Pokemon. Sylveon was the only one Bethany was able to keep. They ended up at Palette Town, and she figured she would try to join a group of trainers as a medic.

Personality: Laid-back until the going gets tough, and so, him being tough, gets going (outta there). A personal skeptic and so prefers to hang back and watch than participate. He prefers to chill with his Pokemon in the outdoors than camp with other trainers; but this clashes with his burning desire to find a true human squad of his own. Hector may try to hide it, but he yearns for a long-lasting friendship that isn't just from his Pokemon.

HISTORY

Hector's family had moved around alot, internationally and regionally. He was born in Unova but grew up in Kanto.

The Rubens were known as a roaming Berry caravan, where they helped replenish Berry orchards, taught how to plant them, shared mulch and the like. Hector enjoyed the change of scenery now and then and the new people they met, but not being able to connect with kids for a long time made him feel lonely.

His eldest sister, Kiara was the only one he knew that broke away from the family business, chasing her dream of being a Pokemon trainer. The last he heard from her was a video call all the way from Alola.

Hector managed to follow Kiara's footsteps when he reached 16, finally being fed up with constant relocation and Berry produce. Though the Pokemon journey itself wasn't entirely different, at least Hector could travel in his own accord, and hopefully make a name for himself than just a Berry planter.

Personality: Akamai is a laid back individual, he is never in a hurry, even when he probably should be. He almost never gets serious or takes anything seriously. Some think that he is a bit of a fool as he often has the appearance of not thinking things through, though he is a more thoughtful individual then he looks. He wants people to get along and doesn't like arguments of any sort. He doesn't seem to understand why people could be greedy enough to hurt other people and pokemon for their own personal gain. Whenever he is in a battle he seems to have winning at the back of his mind in favor of making sure his pokemon enjoy themselves in the battle.

Background: Akamai's grandfather was the kahuna of Poni Island. And as the brother of the current kahuna, Akamai had many expectations thrust upon him. Akamai did not care for them, when he turned eleven he took on the trials and gained a starter pokemon, though he never finished them. Akamai seemed to favor traveling and exploring to any sort of battle. He caught many pokemon throughout the Alola islands and when he turned fourteen he decided to leave Alola to travel other regions, going through Galar, Sinnoh and Unova as more of a casual trainer then a real Gym Challenger. Now Akamai has arrived in Kanto and has decided for the first time to actually take up a gym challenge.

Backstory: Lani never really knew her parents. Her mother - a Pokemon Ranger - and her father - a Pokemon Researcher - both died when she was still very young. Growing up she was instead raised by her older sister, Kani. Kani was a hardworking young woman who did all she could to provide for her little sister, working multiple jobs just to make ends meet. They lived in a small house on the outskirts of Hau'oli City, surrounded by the sea.
As a child, Lani was told many stories about her parents, the many adventures they would go on, and the incredible Pokemon they would meet along the way. Needless to say, it sparked a flame within her young heart, a desire to be just like them.
As she grew older, Lani became ever more fascinated by Pokemon. She would make many trips to the Pokemon research lab, always chock full of questions for the professor. When she wasn't asking questions she was out exploring, searching for traces of wild Pokemon in order to observe and study them. Occasionally she would come across a sick or injured Pokemon, and would immediately bring it back home where she would nurse it back to health.
By the time she was old enough to begin her own journey, Lani knew she wanted to travel all across the world and meet as many incredible Pokemon as she possibly could. With help from Professor Kukui she was able to pick out her very own starter Pokemon and together they set out on their quest to fill her Pokedex.

Appearance: A tall girl with light skin, green eyes and long blonde hair. She likes to wear beautifully designed, dull colored clothing.

Competition type: She hasn't completed the island challenge in Alola, but hopes to finish the ones in Kanto. She also participates in contests.

Backstory: After the events of Pokémon Sun, Lillie lived into Kanto, with her mother, who was still suffering from the effects of the Nihilego's poison.

Even though she's grown up some, she still feels weak, compared to all the other girls in Kanto, and even Alola. She feels ready, but what if her Pokémon aren't?

Backstory:

Nox was born in Kanto- Celadon City to parents Sunshine and Cassandra Wiesz. They made theyre living by running the family Bussines, Wiesz Cream- a chain of shops that made delicious ice cream and the most tastefully explosive flavored ice. Nox was generally well liked around town but didnt really know to many people. Those who saw him recognized him by sight but he never really spoke more than a few sentences to people he didnt know. He mostly just spoke to Banshee his Alolan Vulpix, now a Ninetails, he had received at the age of 5 from his Uncle Wendell from a place called Ula'Ula island. A place where they received imported milk to make half of theyre inventory at Wiesz Crem.

Banshee was a strange sight for most people but, it didnt matter especially once they got to Pallet town to make registration, Banshee was actually looked at as gorgeous and people loved to pet him. The attention made Nox uncomfortable at first but he got used to it over time and felt comfortable enough. During a sightseeing trip to Victory Rd. shortly after Dyer registration Nox and Banshee battled a Druddigon in one of the nearby caves but, after a fierce battle he welcomed the dragon-type to his team and began his track back to Pallet to start his journey officially.He looked forward to travelling with new friends. But, his goal were to catch more fairy and dragon type pokemon and compete; be it gym or contest.
