G lifted one eyebrow at Nova's story and then couldn't help but admire the power Yukina gave off. The only thing G learned about the group however, was that they were a bunch of rejects, which would explain a lot. But, she wasn't a reject, in fact thousands of people loved and followed her. So, why would she want to hang out with a bunch of nobodies? She took another long and cold look at the group, trying to see what benefit she could gain from them.

"So, what do you say princess?" Aspen said as he leaned against one of the seats, resting his elbow on top of it. "We're fans of yours and you could use the company. We all win here."

G twisted her mouth to the side, not feeling too convinced. It was like if she dropped her guard they would strike at her. But, in that current moment, she was on her own. That was why she ran into them and why they approached her. If they had some bad intentions, they could've attacked already, specially since her Pokemon were not prepared for battle and she wasn't the most physically capable either, much less compared to Zera.

"I guess we could hang out a bit." G said in a low tone, admitting defeat.

"Great! Let's go chill outside, we still have plenty of time." Aspen wrapped his arm around G's shoulders, which only made her sink in her spot a bit. He looked over at the rest of the group and signaled for them to lead them out of the plane.

Once the group stood outside the transport, Anthony approached them, giving them a suspicious look. "I thought I told you guys to stay inside the plane, you can't be pulling pranks in the middle of a flight and expect not to be punished for it." The bulky man crossed his arms, his usually cheerful expression combined with disappointment.

Aspen held his hands up, as if surrendering to the teacher. "Hey Mr. Hiccups, we're not trying to run away or anything. G here was feeling down so we brought her outside for some fresh air, right team?" He looked over his shoulder at the group.

G twisted her mouth to the side again, but looked over at the teacher with a sad expression. "I got scared being in the Safari Zone alone, so I came back."

Anthony rubbed his chin, "Alone? I swear I saw you with a group earlier. Well getting separated happens. As long as you don't bother the pilot or leave the area, I suppose it's fine for you all to linger around here."

A devilish grin appeared on Aspen's face. "Well, now that you're here Mr. Hiccups, how about lifting our ban from the Safari? We learned our lesson and I feel it's unfair for G to miss out on this just because her former team ditched her. We do have tons of energy to burn and running around the Safari might just be what we need."

Anthony sighed and shook his head. "You guys are always up to mischief, but G here has been nothing but good. I will lift your punishment, this time only, so you can make sure Ms. Elr- I mean, G, can enjoy the event. Do not be late though, I don't want to have to send someone to look for you or learn that you got into trouble, is that clear?"

"Crystal." A sly smile escaped Aspen's lips as he watched the hiker walk away. "You heard em guys, we have to escort the princess back to the safari and make sure she has a great time. Who knows, we might run into some classmates once inside." He turned to face the group, looking confident and proud of his accomplishment. "Let's go leave our Pokemon and go recruit some new members."

Aspen once again took a hold of G as he walked her towards the entrance gate, waving his hind in a circular motion and laughing at his own jokes and stories. At the same time, G just looked at the ground, feeling trapped. Was she kidnapped or was she just an excuse to get them into the safari?

Zera remained quiet the whole way but sticking close to G keeping a close eye on Aspen's actions. The guy is a damned snake, but he's valuable. Maybe just maybe she'd find something worth while to catch when she steps foot in the safari zone. She paused in both her movement and thinking. 'Wait... What if I were to...'

She looked at Yukina who had been following and had stopped when her partner had. The Lopunny cocked her head and blinked as if curious. Zera gestured simply with a nod of her head towards G and pointed to her eyes then crossed both arms over her own chest in an X. The offered her tall bunny Pokémon her duffle bag. The Lopunny snapped to attention, saluted then grabbed up the bag with ease proceeding with her new orders. Watch and protect G.

Now that Yukina has her mission she could do her own. Zera was going to ensure she got something special for G so she will feel welcomed. She clenched her fist, and got into a lower running stance. She had to push herself. The trip only had so much time left, sure she was confident Aspen would keep G busy while she found what she was looking for. A moment passed and then she shot off like a hyper Rapidash who'd been excited to run all day.

It wasn't all that long to slide to a halt and pull her wallet from her pocket. She slapped the entry fee down on the safari zone entry desk in front of her. The reception lady thankfully was capable and handed over her safari balls. She saw a little scene of classmates going on with some stupidity that didn't seem to be all that interesting. She blew some air out of her nose and loaded her pockets with the balls. True to her dorm namesake she was going to crash through like striking lightning for her current goal and damn anyone who saw fit to get in her way.

Moving to the map of the area she studied it carefully. If she really wanted what she was looking for, she'd have to go to the top of the mountain zone. Her new sought treasure is there, she can feel it in her gut. She stepped to the threshold and mapped her route. Maybe if she found time while climbing the mountain she'd find something for herself. She once again took off, allowing her athleticism carry her through. Less than eight minutes and she'd be at the base of that mountain zone and she'd ram down anyone in her way or tried to slow her down.

The general disappointment amongst Pokémon and human alike made the tuft of fur upon Deino's head falter, as if embarrassed. Its wide grin disappeared, head lowering in defeat and resignation — the commotion it had caused would surely upset Hazel if he wasn't already.

Deino let out a quiet rumble; this was its way of agreeing with the Marowak stood before him. He'd not been thinking during his elated haze, and now others would have to pay the price for it. Deino's heart panged at the idea of his friend being punished for something he'd done. The thought of being sent to a daycare was a poor consolation, but maybe it was for the best.

Nova had done her best to resist the urge to roll her eyes with a teacher right in front of them, but the second he was walking away and it didn’t look like he was looking, she made a rude gesture with her finger. Luna snickered at the sight and copied her, even sticking her tongue out.

As the pair walked along with their assembled little group, Nova watched Aspen and G. He was being rather..friendly with her. Well, perhaps he was just naturally like that. He had a way with words, she thinks. There was just something about him. Something that pulled others in. It was why she wanted to follow him in the first place. So, she didn’t feel surprised as she watched them, but..

Nova narrowed her eyes, then looked away. Whatever.

“What do we even need new members for?” She muttered under her breath. Luna glanced her way when she spoke, tilting her head. “Aren’t we fine as we are?”

Luna stared at the other girl for a moment, then did her best to give what appeared to be a reassuring smile as she lightly bumped Nova’s shoulder with her own. She then opened her mouth as if she intended to say something, but paused when she noticed Zera running ahead on her own.

Both of them watched her go, with Nova looking on with a confused expression. “What does she think she’s doing..? Couldn’t even bother to stick with us, huh?”

As they drew close to the entrance gate of the Safari Zone, though, Nova found that she wasn’t quite looking to run towards it herself. The girl stopped, staring at the entrance with a contemplative look.

She was aware that you had to leave your pokemon behind when you went into these kinds of places. And she did technically have a pokemon with her..although, the one she had didn’t really look like a pokemon right now.

Nova looked back at Luna, who essentially looked like an identical copy of her most of the time. If she looked exactly like her, a human, then would it be possible to get her into the Safari Zone without anyone suspecting anything?

It would be breaking some rules, but would she care? Not really.

Although..she didn’t really want to cause possible problems for Luna either. But at the same time, she didn’t really want to leave her here. Not if she didn't have to.

As Nova stood with uncertainty, she felt Luna grabbing hold of her hand. Their fingers intertwining, Nova flicked her eyes to the small smile plastered on the other girl’s face.

“Are you okay with being apart for a bit?” She asked. She always felt a little uneasy not being around Luna, but especially when she was transformed. She trusted that the Zorua could handle herself if she had to, but even so..she still would rather be around to tell anyone off on the pokemon’s behalf.

Luna’s eyes wandered upward at the question, as if in thought. “Eh.” She made a small noise as she shrugged her shoulders, then lightly pushed Nova forwards, in an attempt to urge her onward.

“Uh..well..” Nova continued looking back at the girl, biting her lip slightly. She still felt hesitant. “If..” She proceeded to lower her voice a little. “If we get up to anything..and you see someone trying to play hero..try to stop them, okay? Or distract them, or whatever.”

Her mind conjuring up another possible scenario, Nova quickly added to her sentence. “Oh, and if some idiot is bothering you, or you need to get our attention, just scream really loud. I’ll hear you.”

Luna gave a thumbs up in response, then casually strolled inside to go lean against a wall. She looked rather relaxed, but her eyes were quickly running over every person and pokemon she could see.

Nova watched Luna go, before returning to Aspen’s side. “Luna’ll be on lookout, just in case. ..Is that okay?”

"Huh?" Aspen watched as Zera blasted away into the safari zone, at least she was burning some of that energy. "That's cool Nova, good call." Aspen shot Nova a smile and a thumbs up, before facing G, who was catching up to them after leaving her Pokemon once again. "Let's go hunting."

G looked a bit confused, but followed. There wasn't much she could say to them, usually a walk like the one they were in would be the perfect situation to get to know each other, but she couldn't find the right words.

"So no boyfriend huh?" Aspen broke the silence as they made their way into a grassy field. "You got the looks, but I figured being famous and all makes it difficult to have one." He placed his hands behind his head, walking casually. "I feel ya, I would be single too." He paused for a bit and laughed. "Oh wait I am single. I generally dislike people and those who I do like are part of the gang, and I don't mix business with pleasure." He looked over his shoulder to see G's and Nova's reactions, chuckling. "Come on though, anyone you have your aim on? What about you Nova? I had to beat up some dudes who were starting a rumor about Nova and Luna ya know. People say the stupidest shit sometimes and you just have to put them in their place."

G looked around nervously, not wanting to answer anything, yet. She set her eyes on Nova, hoping she would be the first one to step up and continue the odd choice of conversation Aspen had begun.

Nova covered her arms with her hands as she followed the other two in, completely Luna-less. She looked slightly annoyed as they came upon a grassy field, some of the grass looking tall enough to brush against her knees. She was about to complain a little when she heard the sudden conversation topic Aspen thought to bring up. Her eyes quickly snapped to the boy in question.

Ugh. Did he really need to do this when she was right here? If he was going to ask questions like that to G, she totally would have brought Luna in, consequences and punishments be damned. Then she wouldn’t feel so awkward.

When their leader decided to direct his attention towards her, though, she definitely regretted leaving Luna behind after all.

Her face felt like it was burning.

“Jeez..do you really have to tell her all that?” She mumbled, not quite enjoying remembering that particular incident. She felt..bad, even just thinking about it. It was annoying. “..thank you, though. For..doing that for us.”

She’d thanked him for it before. A lot. But she still had some gratitude to spare.

Her face turned a darker shade of red as she considered what he asked before. Did she have someone she was aiming for?

Nova stared at Aspen for a moment, then quickly darted her eyes away.

How am I supposed to know..?

She never did figure out how to sort out those kinds of feelings. Feelings of loyalty, admiration, adoration..they all simply mixed together and became her driving force. It was how she could continue down the path she had sentenced herself to and walk through it over and over again.

If what she would commit for those who she had sworn loyalty towards looked like love to someone else, then..was it?

..ugh. This made her head hurt.

“..and obviously I don’t have anyone..like that.” She answered, hoping it was the right answer. It wasn’t like she could ask Aspen if it was. “You should know, Luna doesn’t like to share. I would never hear the end of it if I liked someone in that way.”

Nova turned away a little, hoping her face didn’t look as red as before.

Elliot’s aim was indeed that bad and it had Noah laughing, scaring off some of the encroaching Pokémon that tried to come near Noah. His head snapped towards whatever Elliot was looking at, but didn’t quite catch whatever he saw. With a raised eyebrow, he looked over at the kid, wondering if he was just seeing things. “Maybe it’s th’ trick of the light on the water.”

Noah watched a Murkrow fly overhead, wondering if he should catch a flier. Technically, he had his Rotom, but something told him he should probably attempt something that could probably carry him. That was when he watched the Murkrow dive into the water for something. At that, he swiftly got up and ran to Elliot’s side.

He saw a glint.

“Yeaaah…. Tha’s weird.” He watched and followed Elliot until they stopped and saw the Pokémon was trapped in a stump. With a grin, he smacked Elliot’s back playfully. “Hey, that could be yer next Pokémon. Go get ‘em. Here.” He had pocketed some rocks earlier on their way to the swamp portion of the Safari Zone, so he stuffed Elliot’s hand with them. “Use these on the Murkrow. It should give whatever’s in there some time to breathe. Orrrr ya can just dive on in ‘n’ be a shield. ‘R both. Yer choice.” He gave him some ideas, but whatever Elliot decided to do was his shot.

Besides, he had a sneaking suspicion he knew what that blue and white thing was in that stump, and he sure as hell wasn’t going to let Elliot waste this opportunity.

As Dewey also exclaimed his want for food, the Nidoqueen simply turned and there was a girl in their little enclosure with an Umbreon. Tails also sniffed towards the Umbreon, then his tails wagged happily. He waved his paw at the human and the Umbreon, yipping as a greeting.

The smell once the girl opened the container hit Tails like a truck and he practically melted on Nina’s shoulder, stretching his neck out with a happy, excited grin. Once Nina pulled the container up, Tails chirped happily. He pushed some treats Sobble’s way so he could get some, effectively dividing the container’s contents in half before having a couple treats himself. Crumbs now on his maw, he then slumped over and relaxed tiredly, a blissful look on his face.

“Yummyyyyy~...”

Dolan’s comment on Carter’s missing skincare routine had Davy really confused. What? He needed a good skincare routine? Did people need that? Well, sure, it’s great to be healthy and positively glowing, but it didn’t seem like Carter needed it. The joke had gone right over Davy’s head, made even more confusing by Carter’s mock offense but it didn’t feel like he truly got offended. At least, from what he got, but he did let out a smile as Dolan called Carter a worthy opponent. After Dolan’s further comment, he went and got changed.

Davy looked on as Dolan came out wearing his outfit, which looked beautiful, and it suited him well. “An Ultra suit, hm?” Davy mused comically. He was at least aware of the Ultra Wormhole phenomenon in Alola, as some people who came for business talked about it. Carter’s little jab had Davy chuckling, then shrugged. “I don’t know, could help the astronomy club for their posters as a mascot.” Now, that was an idea.

Though, as Dolan wanted to see Davy dress up, his eyes widened. “Uhm…” His cheeks burned a fierce red and he shook his head, a sheepish smile on his face. “M-... Maybe later.” Saved by Carter, he let out a relieved breath and nodded. “Yeah, I’ll do that.” Wearing clothes for fun? Sure, he could do that if he didn’t need to strip down to do it. Hopping in and showing off a full ensemble for show? Nah, too far, at least for right now.

Azu was curious as to why Ozzy got sheepish. Did he not get praise that often? Though, his praise for her had her absolutely beaming. She took that maybe a bit too into heart, but she was thankful nonetheless. Ozzy’s bond with Carter seemed super strong, so Azu was definitely going to be something like that for her trainer! Mark her words!

While Ozzy spoke to Hank, Azu jumped over to Davy, letting out happy squeaks. Davy looked down and absolutely melted at the little ensemble she was wearing, gasping in adoration. A little scrunchy as a skirt, her tail having a ribbon on it, and a really pretty, sparkly flower against her ear. The Azurill bounced on her tail hard enough to jump right into Davy’s chest, making him chuckle as he held her in his hand and rubbed a thumb over her cheek. “You look so adorable…! You want to be a contest Pokémon now, don’t you?” The Azurill nodded her head ecstatically, then paused, then shook her head.

This only confused Davy. “So you do, but you want to be something else, too?” He guessed correctly, to which Azu nodded again. Davy rubbed his finger and thumb against the bridge of his nose. “Ah, battling, too. I forgot.” Azu chirped ecstatically, then hopped on Davy’s shoulder to sit there, her ball tail stretching around to rest on Davy’s other shoulder and to keep her there.

Davy chuckled as he looked over at Carter, a sheepish expression on his face. “Uh… I guess I’ll get contest lessons later. I do have a class for doing contests, though I’ll likely only dabble in it a little so I can get a feel for what others are doing.” With that said, he piled the stuff together that he needed, then realized he hadn’t attached the fringe just yet. Given he’s able to make mittens, he should have a needle and string at his dorm. He smiled at Carter and Dolan, noting how dark it was.

“I think we should call it a night and get some rest. I need some rest for tomorrow.” Azu chirped, looking over at Ozzy, Hank, and Rook with a smile and a ‘goodbye’ squeak.

VV agreed with what Noah said about typings, nodding in approval. "Yeah, just try whatever pokemon you like. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be." she says, Seeing Elliot's immediate miss of a pokeball at the hippopotas had her instinctively trying to comfort Elliot, beginnning to say "Aw shucks, it's alright it's yo-" before realizing that Elliot really had seemed to have not been bothered by it. She decides to instead remain silent. Though VV did not originally see the glint, she did see the second time. Noah was quick to give Elliot rocks to drive the bird pokemon away, as well as suggesting defending it. VV begins to pick up rocks nearby as well, saying "I'll back you up either decision you make. Just be careful when you throw the rocks. You don't want to actually hit any of the pokemon, we're just trying to scare them off, 'kay?" and giving him a smile.

Nova seemed to be struggling with the question, which only made G's heart melt at how defenseless she looked. With a quick step to Nova's side, G patted the girl's shoulder before shooting Aspen a glare. "You can't ask a girl that!" G crossed her arms and tried to shield Nova from Aspen's gaze. "We have delicate feelings, unlike you Vigoroth who think you can go around rampaging and humping whatever you want."

Aspen seemed taken back by G's sudden reaction, part of him happy that she was standing up for one of them, part of him upset it was against him. "Hey, I'm just playi-"

"Well don't!" G interrupted. "If Nova wants to talk about those kind of things, she can ask me. We don't need your purple butt getting into her business like that. Come on Nova, let's go mess around." G grabbed Nova's hand and began walking away from Aspen, who looked confused and lost before chuckling and dropping his shoulders.

"Don't get lost!" Aspen called out as she watched the two walk away.

"Don't worry Nova, you don't have to listen to him. Don't you just hate it when they act all big and tough? Like, Zera could totally beat him up." She finally let go of her, slowing down her walk as they approached a lake. "So, planning to catch anything? I'm not, to be honest, I don't even know how to."

Dolan glanced over at Carter who described his outfit at eye catching. He glanced over at Carter through the side of his eye. Cocking his head back, he grinned.

"That's the point, Carter. Always has been" Dolan said before giving him a playful wink. He turned to look at Davy whom recognized the theme of his outfit.

"Good catch, indeed. And as far as the astronomy club is concerned, please! Eh-heheh! I'm a professional. I strive towards perfection. While I did take a few creative liberties in placing wormholes, all stars are an accurate depiction" Dolan said. He smiled when he saw Azu. Words couldn't describe how cute she was, so he left it at that.

Hank got up and got in downward dog posture. Wagging his tail, he turned to look at Ozzy.

"I'm way too cute and good looking to hide all this natural beauty behind a coat and scarf!" Hank barked before eagerly running in circles.

"Molly likes outfits cause she needs to cover up her ugly! I wake up this good!" Hank barked cheerfully.

kcdgo5.jpg

The minutes passed quickly as she leapt over rocks and dodged out of the way of bigger obsticles in her mad dash for the mountain zone. Upon arrival, Zera now had a better look at the mountain. It was indeed very tall, but this was nothing compared to Mt. Coronet back home. There was clear spots where people had tried and failed to climb it. Reaching in her back pocket she retrieved a pair of gloves.

Strapping them on she huffed, stretching her self throughly. Last thing she needed would be to pull a muscle mid climb. There is a platform up there according to the map. If she wants to reach it, she needs to climb. Getting a firm positioning, she begins her ascent. It wasn't too difficult at first just one foothold to the next that was until they ran out. Now she'd have to improvise it was getting colder now. Tightening her core she kept going dragging herself up further. She was almost to the snowy ledge she saw in the map. Her hand slid through snow and grabbed a firm hold. Pulling herself up and through the rather light and puffy snow bank rimming the platform she sighed in annoyance. She was never fond of being cold.

Standing up she took several steps away from the edge dusting off the snow. Looking out at the safari zone it was indeed expansive. Rolling plains, a swamp, in the distance what looked like a artificial desert, a huge lake, and finally this mountian. There was likely more she couldn't see but she didn't have any more time to be lax. She had a Pokémon to find. She turned her head and in her analysis of the area she took note of a path that looked to head down to a different part of the Safari. Probably the long way she was too impatient to take, and what looked to be a cave. She moved toward the cave as quietly as the crunching snow under her shoes would allow and peaked inside. It didn't seem to have anything inside at least from what she could see. Reaching down into another pocket she pulled a mini flashlight from it and clicked it on. She wasn't going to find anything stumping around in the dark like an idoit. Holding the light comfortably in her left hand she pulled a ball from her other pocket ready to make the toss at the first Pokémon she blinded with the light. A stunned Pokémon is a easy target.

She wondered deeper in making sure to take note of where she was going. Getting lost in here was not on her to do list.

The clicking of rocks shifting to her left drew the gaze of her and her flashlight. It looked like a minor cave in had happened recently. She was about to turn to keep going when she heard a small sound. It was small and sounded frightened. She moved over and knelt down pressing her ear closer to the large pile of rocks. The sound became more clear. A Pokémon was stuck in here. Her face scrunched up and she put the flashlight in her mouth and leaving the safari ball by her knees began to move the rocks and rubble out of the way. A little time was all it took to clear away enough to look inside it was a little hideaway where two Pokémon were. Both Pokémon she'd never seen before, either both were elusive or she never particularly cared to find. One looked like a upside down ice cream cone with a piece missing with stubby little legs and arms. It occasionally shivered as if cold. The other was a white Pokémon a lot bigger than the other and has four legs. It looked to be asleep at least for the moment. Well... A two for one discount. She'd figure out what they were later. She picked up the ball between her knees and chucked it at the snowcone looking one who seemingly had the awareness of a slowpoke, it hadn't even noticed her at all. A soft click was heard from the ball she threw assuring the capture. She reached for another ball from her pocket when a sense of something looking at her drew her eyes back up. The white Pokémon she thought was sleeping a moment ago was staring her down. She froze the Pokémon looked blankly at her.

Zera's mind went into battle mode. Slowly and carefully lifting herself from her knees onto her feet but staying low to the ground. The lower she stayed the less threatening she'd appear. It was something she'd observed Pokémon in the wild do before. The Pokémon continuing to watch her made little movement. She adjusted the flashlight in her mouth with her tongue and shifted slowly reaching for the ball that held her capture, keeping her eyes primarily on the other Pokémon. It looked like it wasn't going to move but Zera knew better it would pounce the moment she looked away too long. She grabbed the ball and stuffed it in her pocket. Now with her package secured... She had to deal with what's in front of her. If this thing got outside she'd never find it with all that snow. She wasn't necessarily looking to add a Pokémon to her team but this one. Something spoke to her about this one. It was something dangerous and if the huge claws on each of its paws were anything to go by she'd have her work cut out for her if it decided to be hostile. Shifting herself a step backward the Pokémon took a step forward. This action made Zera groan. 'It is issuing me a challenge... Of all the places and times to be alone. Physically I don't know if I'm stronger than it. That fur is thick so I can't define it's muscle structure either.' Zera clicked her tongue against the flashlight still held in her mouth it would be very bad for her if the Pokémon struck it. She took it from her mouth and placed it on the ground. So she could still see her opponent. She wasn't leaving here without a fight. She got into a stance that looked far more at home being used by a wrestler about twice her size. If this was how it had to be then she was gunna take it down.

The Pokémon cocked it's head but prepared itself as well. They circled one another for a moment or two until the Pokémon pounced. Zera planted one foot forward and ducked under the Pokémon's claws catching it and slamming it down to the ground with all the strength her small muscle packed frame could muster. She moved back narrowing avoiding the Pokémon's claws as they whizzed past her head. "Damn, you still got fight in ya after that huh?" Zera chuckled a bit as she got back into her stance and the Pokémon got back up. They had a back and forth for a long while and she lost track of just how long they were locked in this tussle. Zera nearly got skewered more than once but she managed to get by with just a few light cuts and a bruise from being gut checked by a tackle. The Pokémon however looked far more tired than she did. It could barely stay standing after all the punishment shared between the two. "Well... I'll give you props you're tenacious, but you aren't better than me and unless you are a heck of a lot stronger than me you won't ever win." The Pokémon took a step forward only to collapse. Zera laughed walking over panting softly. She grunted as she stretched her stomach. "Oh, you got me good. That's gunna sting for a few days at least." She grabbed a safari ball and huffed pressing it to the Pokémon's head. It clicked after a few moments signifying capture. She fell back onto her rear end and huffed tiredly. "L-Looks like I'll have to take the long way down the mountain now... Damn that's gunna suck." She laughed humorlessly and then pried herself off the ground, fishing her flashlight up on her way. She needed this thing to find her way out. She fished around in her pockets and inspected the other ball she happened to aquire. She wasn't entirely sure what either of these Pokémon were but she was certain one of them had to be ice type. She nodded to herself clicking them to her belt and grunting as she walked. Her right arm covered her stomach as she walked hissing a bit every once in a while. She'll have to get checked by a nurse when she got the chance. Her own training would have to be put on hold for a while but hopefully it'll be worth it.

It took much longer than she wanted to get out of the cave and head down the mountain. The steep spots making her wince and hiss aggrovating her bruised stomach.

"Come on Zera you've had worse, stop being a baby. It's just a bruise. Nothing is broken." She trudged onward until she reached the base of the mountain and sat on a rock and looked at her reflection in a puddle. She looked like she'd been in a war zone. Her hair was a mess, her top had a few new tears near her stomach. One of her pockets was torn, she had definitely lost quite a few safari balls but she didn't care enough to pick them up at the time. The only thing that wasn't damaged was her shoes. She'd have to find Aspen, as much as she disliked the snake he'd be able to come up with some story for her. She huffed and pulled out her phone which she is thankful she got the extra durable model and texted him her location.

'Aspen, as much as it pains me I could use a hand. I'm at the foot of the mountain area and a little beat up. I need a hand getting back to the gate. I'll need a story to tell if people ask questions. Sense your good at that give me one.'

A scene had begun unfolding in front of her, one that Nova had never expected or foresaw. Her eyes widened once G had stepped to her side, her expression turning towards one of pure shock as the other girl spoke in her defense.

She quickly wanted to speak, to say that it was fine, because it was – completely, totally, absolutely fine. Aspen didn’t do anything wrong, right? But she couldn’t find the words within her.

She wasn’t bothered. It was embarrassing, maybe confusing, to be asked something like that..but it didn’t bother her. If he was the one asking her things like that, it wouldn’t bother her. It totally wouldn’t.

He didn’t mean anything by it, after all.

So why did she feel just the slightest bit of relief as she watched G intervene?

“I–” Nova attempted to say something, but found any remaining words she could have forced out had immediately died the moment G took hold of her hand. Surprise flickered across her face as a burning warmth surfaced on her cheeks. That wasn’t expected either.

As the two walked away, Nova kept quiet, listening as G talked. It was only once they had come upon a lake did she take in a breath and speak properly.

“I-Idiot..” Well, somewhat properly. Her voice was a little more quiet and the insult lacked the usual biting remark that Nova was used to. “You didn’t need to..do that..I, he was just– I can’t..”

She then trailed off, ending the outpour of thoughts that had started building up in her mind during the walk over. She inhaled, then slowly exhaled as she clutched at her arm, holding it to her side.

“..Whatever. We’re here now, I guess.”

Her eyes slowly drifted towards G, a default annoyed look on her face. She had no idea what to do now, being one on one like this. It wasn’t something she was really prepared for. She had thought Aspen would have been with them for the whole time.

She huffed.

“...I never had a pokeball that was mine.” She admitted. “So, I..don’t know how to catch anything either.”

She flipped her silver hair, letting go of her own arm as she moved her eyes to look at the lake. She didn’t know what to do without her leader around, but she could improvise. “The one pokemon I have came by choice.”

The thought of catching another pokemon hadn’t crossed her mind before. She wasn’t really sure what having another one with her would even be like, or if Luna would even be accepting of a new friend. But she could think of a few she’d want off the top of her head.

“..if I caught something, it’d have to be cute. Like an Emolga. I used to see a few sometimes, back home.”

Joss Vanberg~ Purity Dorm

A good time wandering the safari in mere chill and perhaps some admiration for the seemingly peaceful atmosphere and resort the zone staff had to offer. While it still seemed odd at times and certainly the last capture and encounter was unexpected in how it happened, a first surely for even Joss to have captured a Pokémon that way and a first for the type of Pokémon it was as well. However as time passed and honestly the boy had no sense for how long it had been since arriving at the safari zone and beginning that two hours or whatever it was they all had been given from the start. Furthermore and even more true to say, Joss still hadn’t attempted another capture nor be wasteful of opportunities by throwing pokeballs away like that hoping one or a few would catch. No, he still had all that was left after that first capture. While the furthermore part was that Joss also hadn’t seen anyone in some time after all his wandering deeper into the safari now potentially far from the previous zone he was in.

Noticing the large body of water before his eyes, a glimmer of light and a rather nice, relaxing idea that maybe could also help bring forth another opportunity and maybe catch him a Pokémon fitting of his normal party type even if he didn’t particularly consider himself a specialist or any sort of discrimination towards other Pokémon as seen previously. But like Ahab and his whale…. Well… sorta…. Definitely not exactly the same, but like the old man from long ago or maybe it was a book? He couldn’t be sure with memory so cloudy. Joss had always sought a particular Pokémon dating back to his childhood living off the beach back home, and while a Barboach would do certainly. The idea of catching a Whiscash was too good to be true yet a opportunity he hopefully seek and achieve here, and if not and a Barboach was found then he’d happily catch that Pokémon too.

However the hard part wasn’t even possible without his Pokémon pals to help him. He didn’t exactly have a fishing rod on him either. So what to do? Eyes wandering in canvassing the scene, a nearly blank expression hiding his thoughtful mind searching out for ideas to help him here and perhaps improvise a solution…. Til finally it struck like a bolt to a unsuspecting fluff of hair atop his head. He’d make one! A fishing rod that is…. Now he just had to find the tools and ingredients to pull it off. Not exactly a supply shop lying about the place nor a magical bag to conjure some string, a long enough stick that could hold some fight while a lure of food or berries to use for the lure itself. Walking about the zone he was in and searching about every corner, tree and bush he could while feeling around the dirt for a long shot chance for something to be found. Joss clicked and snapped his fingers quietly having found a decent enough stick that had broken off from a tree and yet wasn’t too small nor too heavy and thick for him to use as the rod itself, while he dug around his bag hoping to find a snack and perhaps some string like a unused spare guitar string for when he had to make some repairs and replace the old. While he couldn’t find one exactly he did locate a odd length of thin rope just laying about in his bag, a surprised look and wide wonder of why he had this in his bag and where did it come from began getting asked in his mind before ultimately shrugging it off and thankful for the random find. Meanwhile he also took a apple from his bag that was meant for snack later on and some berries from a near bush to hopefully make work for his makeshift fishing rod and lure.

After tying one end of rope to the stick, securing it properly as he could hoping it’d work and hold together. While tying the other end around the apple since he hadn’t a useful hook with a hole to loop the rope through, while hooking the apple with the sharp end. He had to again hope this alternative method would work. Now being all set and walking to the edge of the lake, giving a small nod and tossing his line in apple first, Joss took a seat upon the ground, aiming for some peaceful fishing while hoping for a great catch. Thinking how wickedly narly it would be if he caught a whiscash or even caught the attention of some gyarados if one such massive Pokémon could even be found in this lake that was….. even so, time slowly passing as the patient and quiet approach that was fishing took place. Joss having doubts his improvised rod and lure would work the longer time went by as he simply mouthed a piece of tall grass around between his lips, side to side and up and down quietly waiting….

Just then a tug was felt catching Joss’s attention and a smile creeping upon his face in a corner grin. Taking a stronger grip on the makeshift rod while feeling a bigger tug on the string pulling on the rod, causing Joss to pull right back in slower fashion giving a game of back and forth while maintaining a certain pace as to not alert and scare off the potential Pokémon. The game continued on for some brief moments longer before this Pokémon tugged harder and harder, dragging Joss’s feet from the ground back towards the lakes edge, the boy fighting back by pulling back and attempting to hold his ground while stepping backwards as much as he could with his feet digging into the dirt. The Pokémon getting more ticked off by the efforts and difficulty yet not shying away at all or fleeing, kept up its war to get that apple. Finally! With a big pull on the apple and string by the presumed water Pokémon, Joss could feel the struggle getting away from him thus gripping tighter and refusing to let this Pokémon get away. However….. The pull was so great and much strength behind it, Joss knew what was coming as a look entered his expression full of a widening gaze and dropped jaw bringing his lips to dip and loosen up their form barely keeping hold of the price of grass between them.

“Uh-Oh…… This might be a bit narlier then expect-“
Joss posed at the situation he found himself in and knowing what was about to happen, before getting cut off in thought and pulled off his feet flying into the air and crashing down into the water with a fair splash coming up behind him. The Pokémon taking hold of the apple and darting off in the opposite direction at full speed pulling a stubbornly yet calm Joss along behind him via the rope and stick he maintained hold of as he got dragged through the water and pulled further down below the surface then up again with all the various maneuvers the Pokémon took in efforts to lose the boy. Yet he kept hold still and endured through the various struggles he faced and obstacles the lake had to offer such as rocks, other Pokémon and various sorts of other things that he best evaded while holding the stick and having little control of his own at this moment.

While he did though his eyes could catch a glimpse here and there of the Pokémon he so fought. A sense of added and uncharacteristic determination settling in and giving him added strength to hold on and don’t give up. It was indeed a very ticked off Whiscash! Pulling up on the stick and trying to force his body into a upright position in the water, while also trying to keep his held breath and avoid crashing into anything or anyone. Joss fought and fought some more against the Pokémon refusing to lose this rare opportunity even while it dragged him harshly through the lake waters both deep below the surface and back up near it, attempting to use every single move and obstacle it could to lose the boy even if injuring him in the process or perhaps killing him pending the crash and other possibilities….

Flying around the lake and through it, Joss kept hold of his rod and breath, fighting his body to move where and how he wanted while timing it against the various near crashes he saw coming his way. He kept pulling back harder and harder against the Pokémon, while trying to force his body upright in the water to maybe help him against this Pokémon’s strength and anger, the more he fought and forced the more the Pokémon’s will grew resistant, the opposing forces and conditions resulting in the Pokémon once again forcing Joss through the water and forward slinging him across the lake and above the surface by some great distance and air time while the Whiscash came out in similar fashion holding onto that apple and refusing to lose to some pesky kid interrupting it’s snack time. Joss meanwhile not paying attention to his position and where he could fall and fall hard in some big crash land side, kept his eyes on the prized Pokémon and the opportunity he now had hoping amidst all that struggle and adventure he still had those pokeballs upon his person or in his bag.

Reaching down and feeling about locating one such ball, Joss eyed the Pokémon hoping for one last shot to work….. Taking hold of that Pokeball from the safari staff and bringing it back in aimed position before throwing it towards the Whiscash mid air as time seemed to stop in this moment and had been slowing during this air drifted flight, Joss threw it as hard and precise as he could watching on intently as the safari ball struck against the Pokémon and beamed a light do red as Joss came crashing down on back and sliding, bouncing and hitting along the ground of the lakeside surface, his guitar breaking beneath his weight and crash, bag getting roughed up and bopping along the ground with him, head hitting the ground just so that led him to unconsciousness as the safari ball landed upon his body still shaking as the Whiscash fought against the attempted capture inside that very safari ball and atop that very stubborn but chill blonde with ice blue eyes and beanie topped head as the piece of grass fell from between his lips and lay upon the ground besides him.

Elliot's focus was intent on the scene, though he spared a grave glance for his two friends. The moment they has said their pieces, Elliot had his hands on the rail and was hoisting himself up. With no thought for his own concern, or the conditions of the water below he leapt over the side.

Cold water seeped through his clothes and he sank almost up to his chin in thick, smelly swamp mud, but so determined was he to get to the stump he almost didn't feel it. He half-swam, half crawled to the little bank, the roots of the dead tree offering purchase. He sent up a rising splash of water and the murkrow balked, long enough for Elliot to place himself at the entrance to the stump. What he saw there made his eyes widen, for, sitting curled as far back as it could go, was a dratini. It was small, and clearly quite young. Elliot wondered if it really should have been out on its own like this, but however it got there, he was determined to protect it.

"Don't worry, I've got you." He told the little pokemon reassuringly. Just then a sharp pain at the back of his head threw him back into the present. His hat went flying into the water as the murkrow, having recovered from their retreat, came back with full force, scratching and cawing madly. It was all Elliot could to do prevent them from getting past him, but he was pinned down and couldn't move to defend himself.

Even so, he refused to move, not wanting to break his promise to the pokemon, who watched him with fearful eyes.

"Help! Noah! VV!" Elliot cried. Without a pokemon and with both arms covering the entrance to the pokemon's hiding place, he couldn't do anything but crouch there in the water and take the murkrow's fury.

~~~
The sobble seemed wary of the fierce-looking umbreon and made himself as small as he could, keeping very still as the other pokemon examined him.
Dewey was elated when the food was presented. He seemed almost to forget about his troubles as he graciously accepted the pieces Tails pushed towards him. He took them out of the container one at a time and ate them up.
"My trainer says food makes everything better." Dewey said between mouthfuls, and indeed, now that he'd had a little to eat, it was harder to believe that Elliot would not come back.
To Miiya he gave a heartfelt and enthusiastic thank you, but to her it sounded only like "Sobble sob sobble!" and a wag of his curled little tail.
Ozzy could tell the deino felt very badly about the commotion caused and gave a sympathetic laugh as he said in his usual marowak speech:
"I wouldn't worry to much about it! You are most definitely not the first pokemon to stampede down the dorm halls, and, since it doesn't look like your trainer saw you...maybe we don't have to tell them everything that happened here."
After an assurance from Ozzy that the deino would behave, Carter untangled him from the whimsicott cotton and lead the way back outside, calling Chase and Kiko back into their balls. Carter picked up a large box he'd left by the door, filled with what looked like string lights. Clearly he had a plan for them, though it was hard to guess what it was.
"I was bringing these to the greenhouse anyway. Hey, maybe you could help me until your trainer comes to get you."
Carter left a message with the front office, asking them to make an announcement over the PA system about a deino found and waiting for its trainer at the daycare in the greenhouse. "Shouldn't be long before your trainer comes for you." He reassured the pokemon, and Ozzy backed him up with a confident nod.
"We'll make sure you're comfortable too, there's food, and a swimming river, and sunny spots for naps, and toys and training gear." Ozzy listed his favourite things about the greenhouse daycare.
~~~

The doors slid open automatically with a soft hiss, and Carter pushed his way through the plastic ribbons that served to guard the climate inside. The place was humid but not unpleasant and much larger than one would think, filled to the brim with flowering plants and trees set in between winding pathways. Carter went all the way to the back and placed the box down with three others like it.

"Make yourself at home." He told the deino, "While we wait for your trainer. Ozzy, I'm counting on you to help him."
The marowak nodded resolutely.

Satisfied, Carter began taking the strong lights out of the box, dismayed at seeing them all tangled. "Man, I really need to have a word with the spirit committee about how they put these away..." He settled in for what would seem like a long afternoon of work.

((You can totally make up some stuff in the greenhouse if you want))

Carter could feel that they were about done. Davy had some good ideas for an outfit, and it looked like the pokemon were having fun too.
"It's getting late," He admitted reluctantly. "I think we got what we came here for."

Ozzy laughed at Hank's unabashed statement, and began to follow Azu back to their trainers.

Carter put an affectionate hand on his marowak's skull helmet. "I should probably get my pokemon fed."
He shot Davy a warm smile. "I'm looking forward to seeing your outfit at the dance."

To Dolan he gave a cheeky two-finger salute. "Thanks for your help maestro, you never disappoint."

Carter went back to the changing rooms to don his usual jeans and sweater, coming back with the jacket tucked neatly over one arm.
Once there he waited by the door for the others, to walk out of the building with them.

Stars were an accurate depiction? That was pretty fascinating.

After feeling like the tiredness of the world was coming in on him, Davy returned his Azurill for now, letting her wear the cute accessories she found before making sure he had his things. He waved to the two, smiling at his new friends. “Can’t wait to see you at the dance, too.” Davy grinned as he spoke more so to Carter than Dolan, but he wanted to see another friend at the dance if Carter got separated from him.

It was then that when he went outside, he felt something nearby. It whizzed away, sounding almost like the sound of a Teleport being used.

That’s when he found someone rather young looking for something. Was he missing his Pokémon?

The tall man went to the young kid, offering a warm smile. “What are you doing out here so late?” He asked, his voice soft and concerned.

Not trying to hit any of the Pokémon? Noah simply huffed and thought to himself rather than be verbal about it. No fun... Granted, he didn’t want to hurt anything, but it was kind of fun. He watched as Elliot got to the Dratini and protected against the Murkrow, which were then coming back down to attack the poor boy. With a well-aimed throw, Noah hit one Murkrow in the head, which then sent half of the birds after him. He ran from the two, allowing VV and Elliot to handle the others.

During this time, a Cubone had helped him and he caught it soon after.

~~~~~~~
After another hour or two and once everyone came back and accounted for and received their Pokemon, they flew back to Johto Academy and went about the rest of the day not worrying about the other classes they had to go to that day unless they wanted to.
During this time, the Video Game Club acquired some new members (that being the Detention Gang), and Noah simply dropped the club. It wasn’t his, and he’d rather not deal with the unsavory characters who’ve taken the club. Due to her popularity becoming a detriment, G ended up needing to leave the academy and work on schooling online.
The next few hours until it was after dinner, Noah went looking around for Elliot after he did some of his RA duties for Strike’s dorms, unsure of where the kid went and he wanted to make sure Dewey was handling the new addition well. He wandered about and looked for the kid and his two Pokémon, hoping he was okay. He also wanted to talk to him about possibly having Dewey get into a Pokéball, as he recalled Elliot saying Dewey didn’t have a Pokéball. Maybe he was wrong and misremembered it, but he was sure that’s what he said.
He also wanted to see what VV was up to since they were in the same group yesterday.
Though, he forgot to get his number, so now he had to find another way. And that way was to use his Vulpix as a sort of Growlithe despite Vulpix’s nose not being as strong (still pretty strong though). So, he had the Vulpix find him by sniffing him out, hoping he wasn’t too far from the Purity dorm, and even more hoping he was in the Purity dorm.
Wanting to stay away from the Greenhouse, Davy decided to do check out the gyms of the academy. While he wasn’t too enthused to see the battlefields, he did find an actual gym - one filled with weights and the like.
Surely, Buff would be here, right?
Davy had never actually used the weights or anything like this gym before, as evident by the way he stared at everything as if it were a novelty. It was such a strange feeling. If he wanted a work out, he would just try and pick up the Tauros that littered the acres his family owned. But now that he was here, he wanted to see just how strong he was.
He wanted to see if he recognized anyone, but at the moment, he did not. So, he walked over to play with the dumbbells. Even the huge ones felt like simple paperweights to him. Was he just that strong or were these numbers lying to him? He did a couple curls, but realized that he was going nowhere with this.
He looked for a bench press, but felt like it wouldn’t be a good idea to try this without a spotter, like the rules stated on a sign put on the wall next to the door, and near every door that went in and out of the gym. However, he didn’t know if he could even find Buff.
He decided to play around with these machines that worked out the muscles that pulled the bar towards him. Even going to the bottommost weight didn’t feel like much.
Maybe he was just superhuman.
Didn’t he get the man’s phone number during the club?
He didn’t remember, nor did he have the mind to go through his phone to find a contact. He sighed, finding the gym to be severely lacking.
It was these damned farmer muscles, wasn’t it?
Miiya sighed happily as she was cuddled up to Nina her Nidoqueen as the Pokémon carries her through the courtyard of the school. Today was full of... Interesting people and she was more than happy with the fact she was by herself with Nina carrying her. She loved being held by her Pokémon. Nina was the Bulwark that defended her when people or Pokémon that made her scared or really uncomfortable. Surely her going by herself into the Safari zone wasn't the best idea but she didn't have any trusted human friends yet. Humans were cruel and unfair. Pokémon were honest and loving creatures that take time to earn their trust. Once you have their trust they open their heart. Just like with Nina, she knows she earned the Pokémon's heart. She doesn't know where she'd be without the XXL Nidoqueen looking after her. Her nerves aren't the best, she knows that. Even with her Umbreon Kurai, with her she's still nervous but less so.
Lifting her hand she gently stroked the side of the Nina's face. The large Pokémon leaned her head into the pets making a low happy rumble escape it's lips. Her dorm room was going to be a sight for sore eyes since she made it look as close to her room at home as possible. She couldn't wait for tomorrow. "M-Maybe I'll make a friend tomorrow? I-I hope they are nice."
kcdgo5.jpg
Zera huffed heading to her room. She was a bit miffed at her slight injuries. Glaring at the ball in her hand. Oh she was gunna run this Absol into the ground. Make it strong, she needed to push for it's obedience first though. She had an idea on how but it would take some time. Her partner would have to crush the Absol into the dirt in order for it to see the difference in strength and for it to desire that strength for itself. Honestly it will take up some of her personal training time to make it ready for any future battle tournaments. She wasn't sure when the school has anything like that but she was going to be ready.
VV was glad she was able to help Elliot get his first pokebuddy, at least "official"xinyan.jpg pokebuddy. However, she was more glad that she had made a couple more friends that day. In fact, she should probably check on them soon..... oh well. Since then, she's been spending her evenings practicing outside, occasionally using the stage. She wanted to perform for the whole school one day, but for now would settle with her imaginary crowd. "Alright, lets do it again! Sam! Hit it!" she points her finger to the sky, as the Quilava restarts the song. Blast moves in to smoke out the stage, but is unable to. "Out of energy, eh? Boys, lets get Blast an ether, on the double! You can sit here and relax." VV jumps off the stage, doing a pose before going into full sprint.
Most of her pokemon automatically return to their respective pokeballs, for the exception of Rey, who follows behind her in full sprint. VV thinks of the nearest place she could find an ether. Her room? Nah, that's a fair distance away. Her thoughts are cut by the sudden impact of what felt like hitting a stone wall, sending her flying back into the wall of the hall. (nice rhyme!) Thankfully Rey jumps in and puts himself between VV and the wall, but she still thuds onto the ground. Boomerang immediately ejects from her pokeball to VV's defense, before VV says "Whoah, relax Boomy, it was an accident. Shoulda payed more attention" Rey, now knowing she was okay, smirks at her. To him, it was quite amusing.
desktop-wallpaper-hoodie-cute-anime-girl-iphone-hoodie-anime-girl.jpg
With her dorm building in sight she snuggled closer into the warmth of her Nidoqueen. She could have went to sleep right at this moment. That happy idea was flung straight into a wall like the punk rock looking girl that slammed into Nina just did. Feeling Nina's body tense, the movement stopping that was lulling her to sleep Miiya looked up at Nina who's head was focused to the right. Shifting in the giant Pokémon's arms she peaked over it's shoulder resting her head on it looking at the scene Nina was.
Blinking the sleepiness out of her eyes she noted a few things. A funny looking Marowak was seemingly giving Nina a rather angry look. There was a even funnier looking Hawlucha smashed into the wall rather comically and there was a girl maybe a year older than she was, maybe more, sprawled on the ground looking rather funny too. She would have giggled if Nina wasnt so tense. Lifting her gaze to Nina who was less than amused at the Marowak as if saying 'Are you kidding me right now?' With the raised eyebrow and everything. 'You should listen to your partner before you get hurt.' At least that's what Miiya thought Nina's face was saying to the other Pokémon.
Shifting nervously Miiya spoke up, "Umm... A-a-are you okay? I-I have m-medicine and b-bandages if you aren't." She really hoped the girl was okay.
It seemed like hours upon hours had passed by him within that very gym. Buff simply was clanging and banging away, while many departed for the safari zone on what could only be assumed was a Pokemon catching adventure for the young and old collectively. Figuring his squad was rather strong and full as it was during this time, the size of the plane used to take everyone going to the zone and his overall career effort level with the whole ordeal of big man and small plane that might become rather cramped. It was a easy choice for Buff to stick at the academy and hit the gym.
What was ultimately surprising to him however was the distant sight of sorts that appeared to be Davy. The fellow large man himself with whom Buff recalled from the fair, some odd reason with no particular reasons inspiring them he'd of figured Davy would have accompanied the others to the safari zone... Perhaps he felt the same about it as Buff or simply had other interests back at the academy? Either way as Buff clanged and banger away with the sets and watching the man lift seemingly easily the various weights at the gym, Buff chuckled and decided to say howdy after awhile. " Yo, Davy!" Buff called out in greeting with a fair grin accompanied it.
"What brings you by the gym.... If ya mind me askin' perhaps a little training for the muscles, hey?" He added kindly and out of curiosity.
