Lore Scrap 1/5: What Are Poke-Gijinkas? (Origins)
From hXchetor.com, "Gijinka (擬人化) is a Japanese term that roughly translates into “Humanization.” It's also known as anthropomorphism, which is when people take non-human creatures, objects, and various other things and re-imagine them as human beings." With that little tidbit of info, lets get onto what they actually are in the world of Pokemon: Gijinka World.

Poke-Gijinkas are the result of phenomenon that started with a human woman giving birth to a half-human half-Beedrill baby. As a result, humans men and women started to crossbreed with Pokemon, which eventually turned into the norm, and eventually turned the human population into solely that of Poke-Gijinkas. Originally, crossbreeding a human and a Pokemon was deemed illegal due to the fact that people believed that Pokemon couldn't consent. After the birth of the Beedrill baby, researchers ran tests on several types of Pokemon; from the human-like Pokemon such as Gardevoir to the more strange Pokemon, like Sigilyph. The results showed that Pokemon had a sentience level compared to that of a human's, and could very well give consent to sexual acts.

And, well, the human race eventually died out, leaving Poke-Gijinkas to take over as the main species.

Lore Scrap 2/5: What Are Poke-Gijinkas? (Species)
As stated in the lore scrap above, Poke-Gijinkas started out as a phenomenon, which eventually resulted in the human race dying out and being replaced with Poke-Gijinkas. In a sense, humans haven't exactly died out, as all Poke-Gijinkas are half human. While they are humanoid in appearance, Poke-Gijinkas do retain traits of Pokemon, rather they have wings, tails, ect. These traits are divided up into three groups, depending on how many traits a person has:

Minor Traits are fairly simple, and are a bit uncommon. If you put a Minor Trait Poke-Gijinka in a room full of humans, you'd have some difficulty telling the difference between them and a human, as these traits are normally overlooked. Minor Trait Poke-Gijinkas might have an unusual skin colour outside of normal skin colour range, slit pupils, or unnatural hair colour.

Normal Traits are more noticeable. They do contain Minor Traits like the examples above, but they also have traits such as ears, tails, claws, fangs, ect. If a Normal Trait Poke-Gijinka has wings, they're small and can't aid in flying/gliding.

Major Traits stand out the most; put them in a group of people, and you can easily tell that they're a Poke-Gijinka.

Now, here are some pictures of different trait Poke-Gijinkas that might give you a better idea of what I'm talking about:

MinorTrait.jpg

This is a Minor Trait Poke-Gijinka. You could look at this person and assume that they're human.

NormalTrait.jpg

This is a Normal Trait Poke-Gijinka. You could look at this person and assume they might be a human cosplaying as a Pokemon, but they're actually a Poke-Gijinka.

MajorTrait.jpgAlso Major Trait.jpg

And these two are good examples of Major Trait Poke-Gijinkas. You can easily tell that they're half Pokemon and half human.

Lore Scrap 3/5: Moves And Professional Battlers
In the world of Pokemon: Gijinka World, everyone is born with moves. A normal, everyday person (regardless of their trait type) is born with one to two moves. Sometimes, moves can be passed on from parent to child. The move(s) the person is born with can be any one of the moves their Pokemon half can learn, including HMs, Move Tutor moves and ones of past generations. When creating a character for this Pokemon: Gijinka World, be sure to look up what moves your character's Pokemon half can learn.

There is also such a thing as Professional Battlers. These people train themselves in combat, and basically battle it out for sport. Pro Battlers can know up to four moves, and normally given a stage name; kinda like what a Pro Wrestler has.

Lore Scrap 4/5: Normal Pokemon in Pokemon: Gijinka World
While Poke-Gijinkas exist, you may be wondering about the role normal Pokemon play in Pokemon: Gijinka World. Well, they act more like animals rather then the Pokemon we see in the games/anime. You see, once Poke-Gijinkas became the dominant race, Pokemon slowly started to de-evolve to have a more animal-like mindset. They no longer had the sentience they used to possess, and basically became similar to the animals we have.

Some people are against keeping these new Pokemon as pets or livestock as they're basically just humanized Pokemon and because of genetic similarites. One thing I should mention, however, is the role of Legendary Pokemon and Ultra Beasts.

Lore Scrap 5/5: Legendary Pokemon and Ultra Beasts
Legendary Pokemon have become more like that of gods and goddesses then really strong pets once Poke-Gijinkas became the dominant race. People started to worship them like gods and goddesses, and sometimes, a Poke-Gijinka is half Legendary Pokemon (nobody knows why some are born half Legendary). Ultra Beasts (including Mew and Mewtwo) are seen more or less as demigods, but aren't worshiped as such. Nobody has seen any of the Legendary Pokemon, or even an Ultra Beast after the Beedrill Baby Incident. Its safe to assume that they're disgusted by the new race and just don't want to have connections with them anymore.

Below are all known Legendary Pokemon, and what they're gods/goddesses of:
