The OOC now has a poll asking how long you think the trainers should have had their Pokemon for. This will change how the training process will start in the RP. Longer time together making the trainer be just trusted enough to care for the Pokemon. A shorter time will likely involve going through the more volatile part of the training. If you need an idea of what I mean than think of something like how the starters in the game act vs how pikachu treats Ash when they first meet.
