Fandom Pokemon: Divine Journey Areas

Dear future character:


Welcome to the land of Tarocana! This is the vast, bountiful, and most of all, beautiful land we call home, so you better treat it nicely, you hear? Well- anyways... In order to get started, you'll need to know about where you'll be in the story. You've already got the continent down, though- so there's a start! Anyways, the city in specific you'll be located at on this continent happens to be the most populated in an entire 5,000-mile radius! ("Only 5,000", you ask? Well, yeah- there's this one 5,001 miles away. It's really good.) And this place just so happens to be named "Cherry Blossom" (It's kinda weird too, considering there aren't any of those trees there-). This fantastic, large city is populated by Pokemon from just about anywhere- it's so diverse, seeing the same species more than once can be quite rare! Now, as for the layout of everything... You've got so much, it's hard to keep up with! Technically, it's in a valley between two mountains- one being the blazing hot volcano, Mount Prometheus, and the other being the complete opposite- the freezing Mount Pandora. And there's the city- right smack-dab in the middle. Just how are the inhabitants not killed by all of these dangers, you might ask? Well, it's protected by a magical bubble completely surrounding the town- with a reasoning behind it having been put there due to an incident from many, many years ago. Nothing gets in or out without permission- that's where the gate comes in. It's actually not as much of a gate as it is a filter- a magical barrier at the very end of the forest, which you must have a special card key for permission to leave or come back in. This is received from the court house- you must be a legal adult, and your criminal record must not pass a certain level, in order for you to receive one. But you're probably wondering by now about the squad you're in, aren't you? Well, you're in Gamma- and your base is in the middle of the forest- not too far from the gate. Funnily enough, the other squads- such as Delta and Omega (Delta being located in Mount Prometheus, and Omega being located on Mount Pandora) seem to look down upon yours- perhaps because Gamma happens to be very laid-back in comparison to all the others (seeing as the gate and authorities take care of most occurrences). But I wouldn't worry about it- you never see the others, anyways. But... As far as criminals go, there is one very persistent group that your squad has had to deal with time and time again, and always been unsuccessful at catching- a group of expert thieves named "The Eluded". The only specific members that are proven to be a part of this group are a Seviper (whose name is not known). They aren't too much trouble- but, hey, you never know when they'll... Step up their game...
But surely thieves aren’t too awfully much to deal with, are they? Of course not, they’re simple training. No, there’s much more going on, much more behind the shadows, waiting to be discovered. So hop in there, lad- with you and your best friends behind your back, you’re golden!

Cherryblossom City:
A bustling city- everything you could ever need is here! Everyone goes about their business and everyday life as usual- pretty much what you expect from a city when you hear the word. Pokemon come from all over the globe just to visit this spectacular place- and with all the public service projects that are done to benefit the community, it stays in very nice shape! But with all these twists and turns, there's bound to be a few... Hideouts...

Cherryblossom Forest:
A lush, beautiful forest located right outside the suburbs of the city. It does nothing but get thicker as you keep going through- until after a long time, you'll find yourself at either the city's boundaries, or the gate. Wildflowers and beautiful sights galore, this is definitely one of the biggest highlights of the area!

Gamma Squad Headquarters:
The headquarters located right in the middle of Cherryblossom Forest, this base is right inside of the biggest tree trunk in the entire forest, with the rest of it going very far underground. Home to some of the nicest and most sincere of Pokemon around, it's a very ideal spot indeed!

Gamma Squad Command Room:
Where all Gamma Squad members are called in to be assigned to their missions and prepare to deploy. Operators have stations in here and help out active missions from their desks. A very serious, vital room.

Abandoned Factory:
A gloomy, very contrasting area to the rest of the city indeed... One gets chills thinking about what might have happened before it was abandoned- nobody ever seems to know. However, it does make for good horror stories and scares. That's about it, though. It's said that weird things happen on specific nights, such as rustling and the like... Quite spooky indeed.

Scrapyard:
Right outside of the abandoned facility, all it is is the torn, destroyed pieces of the building. However, there was such an awful lot of residue from it all, it's like an area of its own. Not quite as spooky- and you can find some cool stuff in that junk!

Prometheus' Valley:
The vast desert before you reach the mountain, it isn't pleasant in the slightest. Nothing but heat at all, and once you get to your destination, it isn't gonna be getting any cooler anytime soon. Outlaws use the sand as hideouts quite frequently.

Pandora's Valley:
The inanely harsh desert of snow, many Pokemon have attempted crossing it- many have died that same day. Prone to blizzards, it's a fool's task to cross it without a dire reason. However, it must feel quite nice for a while if you've just come from Prometheus' Valley.

As time goes on, and the story progresses, you will be able to travel to new areas! Information will be posted then by yours truly, the narrator!
