Bio: Leon was born in a relatively small city, being the son of Palkia and John Rhine. As a child his powers would manifest whenever he'd get scared or surprised and a small portal opened near his hand, no bigger than a baseball. John took notice of these happenings and asked Palkia to teach him about his powers. Palkia agreed and, for a few years, did allow Leon to learn to open large portals and sustain them, but ended up deciding on a better idea. The proposition Palkia made to John was to send Leon to Poke Academy.

It was difficult at first to convince John, seeing as Leon wasn't exactly a normal student. After further convincing and deliberation, Palkia managed to convince John that this way Leon could not only hone his power, but also become a trainer and make friends with normal and special kids alike. Palkia gave Leon the family's pet Shinx as his own, who evolved into Luxio not long before Leon arrived at the school. John also gave Leon an Abra and a Fletchling that he'd caught specifically for Leon. Now here he is, ready to start a brand new adventure at Poke Academy.

Power: Leon can open a portal to any location he desires within 1.5 km of his location in any direction, but can currently only keep the portal open for about 20 seconds before he's drained and must take a 2 hour break to recharge before opening another portal.
Likes: Training his Pokémon, abusing his power for mischief (innocent mischief, not killing or anything), watching movies, and going for walks/running.
Dislikes: Bugs, wasting time, arguing with people, liars, and anything that has pickles in it.
Reason for coming to this school: Leon always wanted to understand how to learn to control and enhance the power he got from Palkia, while also wanting to meet new people and learn to become a strong Pokémon trainer.

Bio: Since Tyra was young she had always dreamed of being the best trainer that there ever was. Though at the time was too young to really go on to train with Pokémon and experience battles. When she was 10 she got her very first Pokémon, a Treecko she called Coal. As their adventure progressed she was given a Togepi by her father that later became a Togekiss she nicknamed Toby. When her journey around Hoenn started to draw to a close she caught a female Pikachu that agreed on the name Chee-Chee.
After returning home from her travels started working on how to help her Pokémon grow and become as strong as they could. That's when the professor of her region came to her and presented her with a keystone and a Mega Stone, Sceptilite. Tyra proudly wears her Keystone as a hairclip while Coal wears his on an armband.
Likes: Her Pokémon, friends, making new friends, battling, making Poke Puffs.
Dislikes: Bullies, know it all's, thunder and lightning, those who abuse the power of Mega Evolution.

Bio: For years she has watched over the Earth, caring for both Pokémon and humans alike. One day she noticed that the legendaries were rather depressed about something. When she asked what was wrong they all told how they felt isolated from the human world and were all rather lonely since they all had their own areas that they were meant to reside in. Hearing their pleas she took matters into own hands and granted them each a human form and allowed them to roam the land, to live their lives.
After a few years passed she had heard that some of the legendaries decided to have children, human children. Though she knew the consequences of these acts. For she had the power to give them the appearance of humans, but could never take away their gifted abilities. And so she once again took matters into her own hands.
Acreus, with the help of others, built a school for the children that they could attend when they were nearing adulthood. With this school they could learn to manage their abilities to live rather normal lives. But an idea popped into her head, why not allow normal human children attend? With this thought in place she found it to be a good opportunity for the children to interact with normal humans and make friends.
And now she resides as the principle of her fine creation. Keep the order and punishing students who break the rules.

Appearance: Artemis is a Caucasian, rather tall boy (yes he's male. Go stuff your gender specific naming crap. Jk jk I'm sure you don't care about gender specific naming.). He has deep dark blue eyes and hair so blonde it's almost white (I think that's called bleach blond).

Artemis wears a white t-shirt. On his face is a pair of rectangular glasses. He wears black jeans and a pair of functional brown boots. Tied around his waist is a blue long sleeved hoodie with white stripes on the sides.

Bio: artemis would have had a great life as a Pokemon trainer. Unfortunately his father was lugia, the legendary Pokemon. Not that he knew that (although the excessive amounts of stories his mother told him about lugia should have tipped him off). So when winds suddenly appeared in the house when he got angry one day, it was a surprise to him. Right after that incident he got an invite letter from poke academy. His mother told him everything. Artemis really wished he wasn't the child of a legendary. He wanted to be a archaeologist. Exploring places like the ruins of alph in johto.

Zael's life hasn't been easy, considering his father, Yveltal is basically a god of death and left his mother for another woman soon after Zael was born. On top of dealing with poverty, he's had to deal with criticism and disdain from legendary pokemon and humans alike due to his parentage and powers. They suspect that he'll be just like his father, leaving destruction and misery in his wake. Zael is naturally somewhat bitter because of this, but isn't one to cause trouble, except trouble always finds him. More than once he got into fights growing up despite his best efforts, especially when he was going to regular human public school. Finally his mother decided to pull him out and teach him herself. This went on for a few years, until they got a letter in the mail inviting Zael to a special academy...

Zael can basically take a small quantity of energy out of living things and use it to make himself faster and stronger for a short period of time, maybe a minute or two at most until he gets used to using it. This ability is always present, so Zael makes an effort not to touch other people in case he accidentally takes some of their life energy. It will always leave him disoriented and exhausted after it wears off as well..

Bio: Aellas, for better or worse, was always curious about humans, particularly after some trouble she had when she protected some pokemon from them. When Arceus gave her a human form, she took advantage, exploring and getting to know humans up close. Despite her affection for them, she never became particularly close to humans. When she heard of the school that Arceus had built, she jumped on that as well, volunteering at once.

Bio: Bianca was born to two of Kalos' richer inhabitants- an actress and her manager. Despite the happy occasion, it was quickly soured by the realization was born with poor eyesight. As she grew up, literally only seeing a little of the world around her, she was taken to many ophthalmologists to try to improve her sight. Although she went through many glasses, medications, and other treatments, very little helped in reality. When she was eight, one of her doctors recommended a surgery that could improve her eyesight.... or blind her completely.
Her parents agonized over the decision, arguing over every possible outcome. Eventually, it was decided that Bianca could barely see, anyway, so if it had even the chance of helping, surely the risk was worth it. However, after the surgery, and the time it took to recover, Bianca couldn't see- not just unimproved sight, but her remaining vision was completely gone.
After that, Bianca's life changed- her parents, possibly out of guilt, gave her anything she wanted, spoiling her, yet keeping a close eye on her. She became frustrated with her parents, but it was lessened somewhat by the companionship of her pokemon. Eventually, she heard of a boarding school for human-pokemon hybrids and asked her parents to go, curious.

Bio: Born in Unova in Castelia City, Avery had for the most part a normal childhood. She had two ordinary parents, or so she liked to think. Her mother was a well known botanist who, after giver birth to her, decided to quit her job in favor of becoming a full time housewife while her father was a small time family doctor who earned enough for the three of them to live in relative comfort in the grand scale city. As a child, Avery spent most of her time in the care of her mother, and for her, she couldn't ask for anything better. Her mother was a woman full of personality, at times she was gentle and sweet, her lullabies and fantastical fables always lulling her to sleep. Other times she could be ferocious as a Pyroar, chasing her up and down the room for whatever misdeed she had done that day. But , if nothing else, she always carried an air of intelligence with her wherever she went, and it showed. Avery was astounded at how smart her mother had been, from negotiating and borderline swindling street vendors for variety of treats and goodies, to swiftly shutting up bickering women who partook in nonsensical gossip, her mother was beautiful in every way. To her, her mother was a woman the world couldn't touch and undoubtedly her role model. She was the reason why she became so invested in botany at such a young age. The look in her eye when she talked about plants was like a child with a room full of candy. Seeing her mother look so ecstatic when talking about them made her interested in learning more about plants. Her mother happily obliged, and the two often spent their times studying them together, spending most of their time looking at the wild life of Pinwheel forest. Everyday was filled with something new and exciting. Those were the moments Avery cherished the most, but as time went on, those memories turned into painful reminder of what used to be.

Around the age of 8, she noticed that her mother began looking different. Her skin began losing its colors, her wonderful light caramel skin began deteriorating into a pale white full of veins and wrinkles. Avery grew worried over her mother's condition, but she assured her that everything was fine, and to for a child, that was all she needed to hear to believe her. They continued their adventures like before, but as she grew paler their trips slowly began to dwindle until they stopped going all together. They spent more time inside now, her mother glued to her bed, her father coming home earlier than usual. She remembered the two arguing with one another in the middle of the night. She couldn't make out the words, but she could see her father flushed with anger as she greeted it with a faint smile. Oblivious to what had been going on she scurried back into her room, fearing that she had done something wrong. The next morning, her mother was gone, her dad standing in the living room with men in white. He explained to her that her mother had been taken to a place that could fix her, a hospital that would make her skin better ... her better. Avery didn't understand at all what was going on, but when her father took her to see her, she cried. They stuck her body full of needles, a mask placed on her face as she lied there half dead. Brown eyes peered through the thicken glass, her mother giving her that faint smile that she had just seen the night before. Through blurred eyes she saw it and ran.

After that, Avery life changed. Her father barely came home, working long hours into the night to pay for her mother's medical expense while still trying to provide for her at home. Avery continued living her life as normal, visiting her mother in the hospital everyday after school, coming home to a few bills neatly placed on the table with a letter full of sweet words that did more harm then good. For the first time in her life, Avery was lonely, something that her mother had always swatted away when she was here. She cried almost every night for the first month, but the tears soon dried as quickly as they fell. She grown to the realization that this would be her life, and as such she decided that she shouldn't be a burden and decided to devote herself to her school work. When she turned 10 she didn't go on an adventure like the rest of the kids her age. Instead, she studied. She indulged herself in her school work in hopes of obtaining a good job that would help heal her mother. This continued on until she entered 7th grade where she began to experience slight bullying from those around her due to her lack of social skill and the fact that she did not have a pokemon on her own. It wasn't anything too harsh, but a few spiteful words here and there and it became a fight. Her mother, who she had kept oblivious to the whole situation found out and scolded her for it, something she usually did when she did something bad. After that, her mother smiled that smile she knew so well and ordered her to close her eyes. She nodded her head and did as she was told and in those few seconds she felt something in her hand. Her mother told her to open them and in them was a pokeball slightly covered in dust with an odd symbol etched into it. Confused, her mother explained that it was a pokemon she had received from her friend who had visited her awhile back. She told her that the Lilligant that they kept at the lab recently laid an egg and they thought it would be best for her to have it. Being hospitalized she didn't believe the pokemon to be cooped inside a hospital along with someone as sickly as her. Then she thought of Avery and decided it would be best for her to keep it. And thus, Avery obtained her first pokemon, a Petilil her mom went about naming Bloom.

A few years passed and now she a senior in a renown high school.

The grass pokemon is in charge of taking care of her, in charge of cleaning her room, of her own accord, cooking for her, and scolding her when she does anything bad or unbelievably stupid.

Bio: It wasn't always easy trying to keep the ecosystem safe, especially dealing with Yveltal. Though she always did her best and the earth hasn't fallen to ashes yet. Upon hearing that Arceus had built a school for the children of the legendary Pokémon. Thinking on it further she thought the ancient being might need help with keeping order at the academy. So she decided to apply for a job there, as vice principle.

Bio: Raava was born, like many children like her, to a legendary pokemon, Xerneas. From what she was told, she was excited to be a mother, but a week after Raava was born, Xerneas disappeared. No one found her, or knew what happened to her. But her father never stopped looking, and one day, when she was six, he left, chasing a lead... And never came back.
Eventually, she was sent to a home where she was raised alongside other children by multiple adults. Eventually, she was taken aside and met with a strange man who told her that he was going to bring her to his home. That's when the training began. She soon found out that he was a recruiter for Team Rocket. He taught her to lie, cheat, or steal- whatever it took. She did jobs for team rocket, gathering information for them. She was then told of a new job- infiltrate the school, gather information- particularly on the legendaries and their children.

Power: Release life into the living things around it when her (this manifests as an invigorating energy to those around her, or to heal minor injuries), can improve growth of plants, even creating forests (creating forests would take tremendous energy and she could only make a forest once every few weeks).

Bio: A gift from Arceus to the humans, Jirachi has always sought the well-being of everyone. He loves granting wishes big and small, but he also recognizes their power and can refuse wishes for various reasons. Once he found out about the Poke Academy he thought of it to be full of humans worthy to have their wishes granted, so he became the caretaker. (He calls himself the Wish-Granter but Caretaker is his official title.)

Melody always enjoyed singing so when the opportunity to be able to do it in a human form came up, she gladly took it. She absolutely enjoyed being able to sing with and to humans.
When she heard about the school that Arceus had built, she immediately volunteered to be in charge of choir. She relished in the chance to share the gift of music with students.

[Bum Bear]

Name: Hoopa

Age: Centuries Old

Class you teach: Hoopa does not teach a class. She is more like the transport system for things such as field trips to other locations as well as crowd control. Hoopa is often task with making sure nothing damages the school and shipping threats away upon the head principals orders.

Appearance: Hoopa is a short 5'2" from top of her ponytail to her toes. She has the appearance of a gypsy with discolored purple skin that glows slightly in the dark and long pinkish hair that she usually keeps tied up in a large ponytail. She has a pair of green emerald eyes as well as a yellow hollowed circle on her forehead. On her body she wears a variety of different gold jewelry as well her rings that allow her to teleport herself, others, and objects to different locations. When these are not in use they are seen casually floating around her body or are made into bangles. School wise, she does not follow the professional dress code like many of the other legendaries who take up their role. Her clothes are often called skimpy and are incredibly revealing despite her lacking any kind of feminine physique.

Bio: Hoopa has kept quite a low profile for centuries until Arceus created Poke Academy. It is unknown what she was doing during her time roaming, but as of now she can easily be found goofing off in the janitors closet or the principals office.
