Within the Depths of a Dream
Plots, Prompts, Pairings, and Concepts
Disclaimer: I am quite asexual, that being said while I am open to incorporating romantic themes it doesn't come naturally to me. So will my replies be a bit hesitant, cliche, and generally awkward? YES. Just be prepared for that please.
Alright, fine. I got tired of having two threads so why not combine them into one, eh? Anyway, lemme skip to the introduction and get this shit over with. You can call me Stone although I'll answer to pretty much anything (E.x Wolfie, Stoney, Stoner, StonerWolf420, Asswipe) but with varying reactions depending on if I know you or not. I am aware that I generally come off as an ass but HEY! Don't knock it till you try it...er, get to know me. I was, currently am, and will always will be biologically female living in the political shit hole that is the United States of America. That being said, I live in Central Time and do have classes from 8:55 AM till around 4:00 PM on weekdays so I am usually on mobile every day even outside that time frame. Weekends are as unpredictable as hell considering I'm not sure when I'll wake up or what surprise plans will spring on me but if it ever affects my posting ability, I'll be sure to let you know. Speaking of which, I have been roleplaying for a few years now and trust me, I've improved with quite a bit.
Along with all that, I am a moderator meaning my duties for the site do come before roleplaying. If I'm online but not responding, I might have other, more important, things to be tending too. Just be patient please~ - Next up, some rules. I normally have this giant-ass list, but let me shorten that down so its nice and understandable.
- I prefer to roleplay onsite within threads. PMs can be persuaded as can Discord, but I'm not making any promises.
- Be able to give me a post with substance. I don't want three sentences as a starter or even in the middle. Two paragraphs of actual shit with readable grammar is ideal, more is fucking fantastic.
- I can do both platonic or romantic relationships, however I prefer the former. If we do romantic (please specify if that's what you would like!), I will only play FxF because for some reason, I don't really click with other relationships. Along with that, I don't double or play Dominate x Submissive.
- Please be active. A post a day is what keeps a bitching Stone away. Now if you have a reason I won't crawl up your ass, but if you're slow to respond to ours and are bumping your thread... no. Leave.
- I don't have an age requirement nor am I going to set one. That being said, please be mature and able to handle darker topics. But I will never play the following: Anything against the site rules, smut, kink, cannon within fandoms, furries (when labeled as such,) or anything strictly cute or anime outside of a fandom.
- Characters are relatively free for you to create as long as we discuss them beforehand and are over 21 years of age. I do like character sheets and realistic/drawn images. Save anime for fandoms.
- 3rd person only. 1st person when trying to get in the head of a character and not myself is rather awkward and uncomfortable. (Not to mention cringey as fuck.)
- I thrive off of conflict so even if its not required, if you allow me to have it (if it works with the plot) I'd love you. - Remember that parings are NOT plots. They are just a foundation to build off of.

Deserters - Medieval Fantasy
-
Character A is apart of a large prosperous nation. The economy being stable, bountiful harvests, a stable population. But then a neighboring kingdom, the one character B belongs to, began a siege on the capital. The first few months of constant attack were nothing new as the barns and granaries were chock full of resources, and so it was decided to wait it out. Yet now, after three years, life in this ones glorious kingdom has become hell. Food has been scarce and fresh water even worse. Disease riddled the air and has killed off a large portion of the population and most livestock. By now people have forgotten the true reason for war, but have come to resent their foe dearly. Yet it wasn't any better for the one laying the siege, their munitions deadly low and men at their disposal at an even worse number. The camps they were force to live in along with the slop they were to eat and with the lack of a running stream to bathe in, it was almost as worse as their enemies. But neither was about to admit it. And so within the walls of the city, what remains of the royal guard rounds of every eligible man and woman over the age of twenty to fight in one last resistance. It was suicide, given nothing but a rusted and chipped blade and piece of plate armor stripped from the dead. But so was remaining within the cities walls. Character A was in the last few units as they prepared to open the gate one finally time. Character B however was in a similar position. The desperate siege attempting one final push to try and conquer the city. They were in the very back, and with no one paying attention, were able to slip away without anyone noticing. Now a deserter, they fled into the nearby woods, trying to reach the nearest village or town where refuge could be sought. Character A had the same idea, being able to rush off without a second thought. So when night falls and they both stumble upon each other in the tangle of trees and brush, what will occur?

Bound By Fate - Medieval Fantasy
-
No one really cares about the going-ons in small, out-of-the-way villages expect the residents themselves. Yet for some odd reason, Character A had taken up an extended stay in the quaint and usually empty inn. The room was rented indefinitely yet they didn't speak much about their plans. Only leaving by dusk and returning by Dawn only not to be seen throughout the day unless requiring a meal or something to wash it down with. This continues for awhile, and at first, no one questions it seeing as it is a large source of incoming coin. But soon, Character B grows a bit to curious. Having watched this toll on now for quite some time, B decides to follow Character A one night. But little did B know, A's been expecting them.
-
One Large Embarrassment - Medieval Fantasy
-
Character A had been in a position that in any other scenario would've comical. They had commissioned a few items from a local herbalist, basic medicinal treatments for common sicknesses when they found them unable to pay the rather large debt they had piled up. And so the herbalist who now revealed herself to be a witch cast not just a curse on A, but an embarrassing one as well. In comes Character B, who in the process of trying to get a few vitals for their journey within the village stumbles upon A. Explaining their plight reluctantly, B would, to the dismay of the witch, soon be persuaded into helping A.
-
Rough Waters - Medieval Fantasy
-
There were many tales of how sacred the goddess of the sea kept her temple and worshipers in highest regard. Blessing all who pleased her and cursed all who fouled her name. Yet that didn't stop Character A, a infamous pirate, from pillaging the place of worship and stealing everything of worth. Enraged, the goddess quickly cast a curse on A, vowing vengeance for what they had done. But once it's in full effect and the pirate is damning the deity to hell and back, character B is sent by them, a profit if you will to try and have A repent for their actions so they might find the fix for their current state.
Alternative Plot: B is a worshiper of the sea goddess but is also apart of A's crew. -
Imbalance - Medieval Fantasy
-
Character A is of a special order. The few immortal knights remaining that are imbued with the power of the elements, sworn to keep them in balance with their powers and weapon. Yet when out of Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Light, and Dark, one suddenly disappears without a trace, it's up to the remaining five to quickly find someone strong enough to replace them before the imbalance tears the world and its civilizations apart. And that someone, is none other than character B. After having checked every source imaginable, A is sure that they wouldn't lie, but is somewhat uncertain that they are indeed the one.
-
Sound in the Hour Glass - Modern or Medieval Fantasy
-
For one reason or another, Character A is immortal. Their family long since had disowned them before they all passed on, leaving A alone with nothing but a very faint lineage to trace. And for more than the very obvious reason, they want it to end. But that would be pointless considering they would waste all that it took to achieve such a state and that they would be reduced to ash as all the years they've lived since they ceased aging. Then comes Character B. A mortal. This would then cause A to make a rather tough decision. Somehow share their immortality or force themselves to watch yet another person they care for pass away.
Possible Ideas:
- Unbeknownst to A, B is also immortal and suffering from the same internal conflict.
- B is actually trying to steal A's immortality by any means necessary.
- The key to A's immortality is an endless hourglass that, if the infinite circulation of sand were to stop, they would slowly begin to age until turning to dust. (B is keeper of this hourglass, they have to find the person who is in order to save A, etc.)
- B has some magical control over A's aging for some reason. (They tried to share the latter's immortality, was acquired through intercourse, etc.) And how they can either age A's physical form back or forward at will. -
Setting the World on Fire - Modern Realistic
-
Characters A and B are, to put it lightly, mortal enemies in every sense of the word. They absolutely hate each other and nothing is going to change that. Expect... After A's been struggling with employment and generally having a shitty existence while B's not only been shit on by life for every waking moment but was just dumped by their to-be spouse within the coming months and they're the only two left in their dorm/apartment floor due to the upcoming holiday...they decide to say fuck it. And so they set aside their differences, get incredibly wasted on a combination of both hard liquor and cigarettes...they wake in the morning to learn of some rather unfortunate decisions.
-
Two in the Tower - Medieval Fantasy
-
Character A, like in most fairy tales, is locked away in a tower. Maybe they're too powerful for their own good, are the heir to a sought after throne, were kidnapped as a child, have awful parents, or are just extremely antisocial. But they've been there for a long while. And of course, there are Knights in shining armor who try to come and save them. And if the tall, steep, enchanted walls weren't foreboding enough, there is also the dragon that makes the whole ordeal much more difficult. But what else would you expect of character B? A life-long companion to A. A wouldn't want to with some random guy who just wants to earn the fame from saving them, and B isn't going to let said guy do so.
Could possibly add in character C as that knight. This would however require three players. -
The Human Prince/ess - Medieval Fantasy
-
Character A had been living with their pack/herd/flock/whatever a group of their species is called for quite some time. They always were the curious time, venturing out into parts of their groups territory most didn't really explore alone. Yet while doing so, they stumble upon B, an unfamiliar member of their species that seems a bit lost. After speaking with them for a while, B explains to A that in order for them to reveal their true self, A needs to show affection to B in whatever way their species does. If and or when they do... B is actually a human prince/princess.
And its hunting season. -
An Unexpected Guest - Modern Fantasy
-
Character A arrives home rather late one night for whatever reason to something feeling...off. And said feeling is well founded when they find Character B in their bathtub, bedroom, closest, on their couch eating a bowl of Rice Crispies in their underwear while watching Jeopardy, who knows? What chaos will ensue? Why are they even there?
-
The Devil's Daughter - Modern or Medieval Fantasy
-
Character A is an angel, and a high ranking one at that. They are free to do as they please, where they please without their god's interference unless the situation turns dire and or they betray their own kind. And so when A supposedly meets another angel on the mortal plane, character B, the two decide to take a night to blow off some steam in the form of eating each other's faces and going at each other in bed. In the midst of their rampage, A didn't noticed a rather large fact about be that soon came apparent in the morning.
B was actually A's sworn enemy's daughter/son. -
We Wretched Children of the Abyss - Medieval Fantasy
-
Heavily influenced by the Dark Souls series grim, gothic nature. This isn't a fandom RP so playing the game(s) isn't necessary. If you have any questions lemme know!
Forsaken we are. Scum of the earth. Vile monstrosities. That is was those who are a touch more polite would call us. Others throw up us into pyres, or chain us within blessed iron and have us locked away in the deepest pits of their dungeons where even rats and other pests fear to tread. Why you ask? We are tainted with darkness from the eternal abyss, forever to wander the earthly plans without hope of acceptance. We brought it upon ourselves, each with our own reasons and longings. Our physical forms decrepit and hideous as a price. Skin pulled taught along bone, eyes reflecting the unholy nature we accepted with nothing but sunken black pits similar to a skull. Coarse hair and rotting teeth...Walking corpses if not less and much more frail. What could have we possibly gained? Unlimited potential, a generous gift from Sirrus the Abysmal Queen. Or what you might have heard it commonly referred to as magic. We performed the ritual, just about killed ourselves either willingly or by force before earning our place by her side.
OOC
So, I warned you at the top. This is some dark shit, but what else would you expect? Does the heavy Dark Souls inspiration not mean anything? (Those of you who have played three, I know Sirrus isn't inherently "evil", or she isn't to my knowledge, I just liked her name. And to gauge how they look, think a hollow from the first game. But uglier.) Anyway, I wanted to make this have a much darker twist on the whole "magic is power" type trope. In this case, any mages, who aren't priests using miracles, other wise known as Children of the Abyss, are those who have given up their soul to become one with their Queen. In turn, gaining a decent amount of magical power. Depending on how strong a person's soul is, it could be something as mediocre as being able to light a candle to reigning hell (or in this case, the abyss as it takes place of hell) on the mortal plain. I was hoping to have our characters clad in irons blessed by priests (so they are unable to use their magic) and in a dungeon currently before escaping and being on the run. This can be negotiated as a few other pairings such as Priest x Mage or Commoner x Mage could be interesting as well!
I have a shit ton of lore on this so if you wanna know, ask. -
Upside Down, Backwards, and Inverted Just a Pinch - Any Genre
-
Character A had been living a relatively, normal, modern, human life. Nothing strange about the monotonous drawl of rising early, going to work, coming home, rinse and repeat. Yet, after a night of particularly heavy drinking(subject to change) for whatever reason, they climb into their bed and promptly pass out, not anticipating the hangover of the next day. But, they are greeting by something else. Waking at the usual time, grumbling about the failure of their alarm clock to work when they are stopped by Character B, who is rather confused as to why they are getting up so early. Startled by the presence of someone else, A quickly flies out of the unfamiliar bed, frantic about dialing for the police. B, still distraught by A’s strange actions calmly tries to reason with them, explaining that they had known each other for years and that A knows what would happen if the they tried to get any government assistance. Unable to understand what they meant, the tell B to explain further, and the result it rather surprising.
OOC
Basically what happened was, A finds themselves in alternate reality where they are either close friends or in a relationship with B. Not only that, but neither of them are human in a version of Earth where racism and discrimination is making the life for supernaturals’ hell. Subplots such as the relationship between A and B in A’s reality, what things they will encounter, what they are race wise, etc. Would all be open for discussion. -
To Rule a Nation - Medieval Fantasy
-
Characters A and B and both proud and somewhat respected rulers of their respective kingdoms that border each other. Yet instead of being interdependent on one another, they are at war. Constantly. With the cause a long ago racial conflict that most wouldn't even be able to recall. Their armies clashing on the battlefield of spies being executed is nothing new. But, war can only last so long. With A’s resources and population dangerously low and B’s physical health beginning to decline at a rapid rate, they both surprisingly decide to do the same thing and try and infiltrate the enemy's keep and gain information.

An Identity Crisis, or Something More? - Modern Science Fiction
-
I'm going to be honest and say I REALLY wanna play A because this is a character concept I've had for awhile. As for B, they don't have to be the technician. Maybe a friend of A, A's lover, spouse, or going through/had been through the same ordeal? I dunno! Be creative.
It's finally been done. Technology created by a private corporation known as R3N3W has brought a previously inaccessible service open to the public, or those who can afford it. It was originally intended for medical use. Repairing failing organs, curing deadily illnesses, even restoring a patient's physical features or replacing a limb should they be mangled in a car accident or fire. R3N3W, however, took this much more than a step further now claiming that it could reprogram biological matter on a cellular level. Changing hair and eye color, someone's whole form if they with and had the money for it. Even being the key to immortality if they so wished. Which clearly isn't a good thing.
Character A had been living their life as if it had been the same for years when in reality, it hadn't. Long ago, A had gotten into a fatal car wreck that would've left them paralyzed from the neck down if they ever woke from the coma. In an attempt to save them, the were put through the now dubbed "renewal" process to try and repair the damaged brain tissue. But the technician had screwed up the commands, and before it could be stopped, everything was changed making A an entirely new person it seemed. Not wanting a giant ethical and legal war on their hands, they quickly wiped A's memory before replacing it with false ones and had their people give a mediocre explanation before leaving them to their own devices. Despite how morally wrong that was, it was safe to say they had no way of finding out which was a good thing for both of them. Until A met character B. The technician who had screwed up the process and was quickly fired afterwards. -
Within These Walls - Fantastic Modern or Medieval Horror
-
I'm putting a gore warning on this one... gore and sensitive subjects. Not for the faint of heart. Also, if someone would like to play B, they don't have to be female. The wife could've gone insane.
There has always been mumblings about a huge manner sat within the middle of a forest nearby. Mostly children, making up large tales of how the house was alive and ate those that came near, daring each other to near the structure. Adults or those more mature on the matter claim it to have once been the home of a wealthy man who had lost his mind for an unknown reason and locked himself and his wife within, it unknown if the two starved to death or if the man had a hand in their disappearance. No one's bothered to go check for years now. The last person, which was quite some time ago, claimed to have knocked on the door with no answer but lights flickering inside. It's blown off as impossible. No one could still be alive within if a massacre had occurred. Surely not. But, it seems as if someone's going to find out either way. Character A, whether by pure chance or desire, has found their way to the manner. It was quite late, the decaying structure creaking in protest to the gentle wind. Walking forward and to the sagging front porch, it was dreadfully discovered that the front door had been left ajar. Inching their way inside, they were greeted with a grand entryway that must've shone in its early years. A large staircase that lead to an upper level, a chandelier with candles instead of bulbs. Yet the sight couldn't be taken in for long before an ear piercing, pain-ridden scream sounded through the house. It originating from upstairs. Once A would finally make their way up, through a less than welcoming dark hall and into the master bedroom, a stench would begin to waft through the air, mingling with the foul odor of decomposing wood (although the house was in reasonably decent shape). Blood. Explicitly so. And after entering the master bathroom, it was clear something was amiss if it hadn't been already. Glass littered the floor, the expansive mirror shattered, sinks with the faucets missing and nowhere to be found. But the real oddity was within the bathtub. The apparent corpse of a woman, character B, lied there with an ordinate dagger through their heart in a desperate and extremely painful suicide attempt. Examining the body, if A was able to keep their wits about them, it would be clear that they died only moments ago. Yet the house was to have sat empty for a lifetime if not more! Did they use the place to be alone? The question couldn't be answered in time as the corpse before them soon shuttered, moaned, and cursed, not aware of someone next to them. Well... one way to find out...
OOC
I'm actually worried about my mental health. Seriously. Anyway, I had been watching a play through on Layers of Fear (that game is dark as FUCK) and it partially inspired this. The main thing that I'm going for is that A finds B as they tried to commit suicide but ultimately failed as they would soon explain that their spouse, husband or wife depending on a few things, had lost their mind many years ago, binding them to the house in which A stands. Never able to leave, even via death. After that it's pretty much up for discussion. -
An Uncertain Ignorance - Modern or Medieval Fantasy
-
Character A has been going about life as they normally would. The stories they heard as children about mythical creatures and of the sort barely on their mind as they focus on the "real world." Yet that day, A gets into a rather interesting conversation with B (a co-worker, lover, friend, relative, what have you) about a certain supernatural race. A is rolling their eyes, trying to talk some sense into B that they do not and can not exist. At all. But karma is in fact a bitch, because later that night, A somehow learns that they are the race B was conversing with them about earlier. Why? Because B is one as well and already knew A's true identity.

A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing - Modern or Medieval Fantasy
-
Something like this in a realistic sense happened not to long ago and I'm still dying due to how hilarious it was. It doesn't HAVE to be vampires as it can be werewolves or say witches even, but I needed a filler.
Humans and Supernatural have begun to coexist after many years of hostility. It has been working well for the most part, although there are still a few that are almost impossible to change their views. Character A in the most literal sense is a vampire. They belong to a moderately large group of those who didn't want to be pressured with the chores and strict hierarchy of the large coven within their area. Character B is a human. Nothing special about them. But because A and B are either extremely close friends or even closer, they rarely get enough time to spend with each other due to the harsh racism that runs between their friends and families. A's group doesn't like humans and B's doesn't like the supernatural. I couldn't get much more cliche than that, right? Wrong. When A finally gets tired of this game they are playing, they convince B to don a pair of rather conniving fake fangs, wear and obnoxious amount of a certain scent so they can corneal their own, and come with them to the next meeting. They do and everyone LOVES them. Which has B keep up the charade for a few weeks, it becoming easier by the day. Someone offers them blood? They refuse saying they already fed for that day. Get caught by a ray of sunlight? Curse and play it off. It's all extremely simple, a few of the members within the group even becoming aware of B's human state…
Until the coven comes to visit. -
Treasured - Modern or Medieval Fantasy
-
Taken from Plotsforall 2.0 cause I'm a lazy fuck and need to branch out of shit more.
Muse A is a merperson, born to a merman and a sea witch. Cursed by wicked blood, Muse A’s song is doomed to bring misery and death to anyone who hears it. Though it is not their fault, Muse A has been forbidden from singing to anyone (human or merperson) for as long as they live. Unable to sing freely like their seafaring kin, Muse A is an outcast and believes they will never know the joy of changing a human’s life for the better. Always lonely underwater,Muse A secretly travels to the surface in the hopes of finding companionship. Merely speaking to a human couldn’t hurt, they suppose. One afternoon, Muse A encounters Muse B strolling along the shoreline, pitching small pebbles into the surf. Fearing rejection from the first human they’ve ever seen, Muse A thinks to swim away but Muse B spots their shimmering tail and calls out to them. They keep their distance from one another as they speak, one on land and one at sea, but are too intrigued to part ways. As it gets dark and the air becomes cold, both must take their leave of the beach. Uncertain if Muse A will ever see another human, Muse A hastily promises Muse B that they will bring them treasures if they come back. Muse B is uncertain if its wise, but they agree to return. True to their word, Muse A brings a valuable trinket from a shipwreck far below in simple exchange for Muse B’s company. As the days pass and Muse B continues to return, it seems that Muse A has finally found a friend. All will be well, as long as they don’t ever sing to Muse B.
OOC
As long as you don't ask me how fish sex is possible, we're good. The plot can also be heavily modified considering this is pretty constricting for whoever plays A. -
Bad Blood - Modern or Medieval Fantasy
-
Taken from Plotsforall 2.0 cause I'm a lazy fuck and need to branch out of shit more. That's also why the title sucks.
Muse A and Muse B have had a roller-coaster type of relationship for a few years. One day, they’re up. They’re laughing and happy, looking forward to their future. The next day, they’re down. Yelling and crying, threatening to call it quits. They’ve been in a relationship for so long that they’ve become comfortable in this toxic pattern. It doesn’t make much sense to outsiders why they bother continuing on together, but they can’t honestly imagine being without one another. One day, after a particularly explosive fight with Muse A, Muse B storms off. Muse A lets Muse B go, knowing that it’s only a matter of time before Muse B comes back and they make up. Only, days go by, and then weeks, then a year and Muse B doesn’t return. Muse A has a hard time dealing with the unexplained disappearance, but gradually learns to move on, even though they occasionally wonder what ever happened to Muse B. When Muse A least expects it, Muse B shows up at their door in the middle of the night, begging for Muse A to invite them in. Muse A is stunned to see Muse B after so long, and startled because Muse B seems different somehow, but nevertheless, Muse A invites Muse B inside to talk. Muse B tries to break it as gently as possible – that night they stormed off over a year ago, they were attacked by a vampire and now Muse B is one. Muse A doesn’t believe it, until Muse B shows them. Muse B promises that they won’t hurt Muse A and that they’ve only stayed away so long because they wanted to be able to control their bloodlust before coming back. Muse B has had time to reflect on how much they need Muse A in their life and how much better their relationship could be now because they’re hell-bent on making up for all of the bad times they used to have and they have an eternity to do so. Muse A must decide if they can trust Muse B at all, especially after Muse A accidentally witnesses Muse B feeding on someone.

I mean, It'd be hilarious if A had been turned into something too… -
When the Truth Comes Out - Modern or Medieval Fantasy
-
Based off of the music video here below. Didn't care for the song as much as the video's contents.
A and B have been close for a long while. Whether platonic or romantically involved, they had known each other for a decent bit of time and cared for each other deeply. And so what better way to show that than go camping for a week in the middle of the summer? The two loaded up a vehicle and headed out to the middle of nowhere, eager to spend time with one another without the distractions of daily life. After arriving the first days or so go well, almost as if it were too good to be true. No foul weather, wild animals kept their distance, and the temperature was just right so it wasn't uncomfortable. Yet come the third day they had spent in their remote campsite, A had begun acting strange to say the least. The scent of smoke supposedly from the campfire being extremely potent around them even when one wasn't lit to a smoldering mark being left on any flora or fauna they touch. B didn't think anything of it until A finally, albeit accidentally burns them. Furious mostly out of fear than anything else, and A clearly not in the mood to explain themselves, B screams A out of the camp as night was beginning to fall.
The next day was difficult for both of them. A lingering out not far from where they were staying, trying to think of some rational way to explain their condition to their lover/friend while B tried to logically process how A was able to scorch their skin. This eats away at both of them until the next morning, where A decides to try and approach B, unsure of what their reaction might continue to be.
OOC
There are a few things that can be done with this such as:
- A has always been able to control X element and has just now been struggling to control it for some odd reason.
- A just magically gets this power as they begin camping there.
- A and B both get some sort of element to control, but B gets their AFTER A.
- B is some sort of amplifier for A's powers for some reason (No, they aren't soul mates. You can be more creative than that >.>)
- I have many more cliche ideas that might be entertaining if done right. Lemme know if you want to hear them. -
Karma's One Hell of a Bitch - Modern Realistic (or Light Fantasy)
-
Character A is your average student. They aren't too vocal but they aren't passive either. Sort of lingering with the mid-crowd one could say. B is one of their teachers, one of the less liked ones to boot. The difficulty of the class combined with the ample amounts homework and general rumors that floated about over the past few uses didn't help their reputation all that much. A used to be indifferent until their grade began to tank, with B not being able to do anything about it but give A more work to raise it back up. Weeks past, and it wasn't a surprise that A was soon found within B'a classroom, both in a rather heated argument that left A fuming as they stormed out and B wanting the nearest flask. This only made clas when in session more difficult, each being reluctant to work with one another.
So... what happens when B gets terribly wasted considering the stress it's been causing, takes a cab that A had also took for whatever reason, and then end up in B's bed the next morning hungover and confused as all hell?
OOC
With all the plots I've seen about this, I've decided to try one out for myself. I'd prefer this to be within a college setting so both characters are above the age of twenty-one, but I might try with a high school setting if A was 18 and a senior (to add a bit more angst, cause who doesn't want that x3) but the gap would need to be within.... 15 years. Maybe less. Also, it might be worth to have it be realistic but I wouldn't be opposed to light fantasy elements.
I would love for this to be FxF. -
All Sins Are Forgiven... Right? - Modern Realistic

In books, movies, and other such forms of media, there are always these worlds that have a so called "matching" mechanic where somehow everyone is paired up with another person they are said to mate with for life. Which means its no surprise that in the distant future, it's adopted as well, but not in such a romanticized way. When someone reaches the age of twenty-one they are brought before an AI within a hospital that matches them with another person with only one purpose in mind. The survival of the human race. Love is not a factor. At all. Its who's most likely to produce healthy children. Those who are unable to do this aren't matched and are left to, well, die alone. Unable to get married by law.
And so character A is a young woman who finally reached the age they are able to be matched and go in to be matched. However, the nurse that usually remains in the room with the patient leaves for a few minutes seeing as she had grown bored of the monotonous task, leaving A to find out who she would be paired with alone. Now... all programs can have errors, so when character B is revealed to be A's match, things aren't making since mainly because B is, well, female. -

I got the begining part off of a website… shhhh… I doesn’t have to be giants. Maybe dragons… just something big and beastly. Or at the very least territorial.
"The greatest giant slayer in the land arrives in a village tormented by a evil giant. The giant kills him in seconds. The village elders reluctantly call on the second greatest giant slayer in the land: a young woman who's yet to kill a single giant."
A is the most accomplished giant (subject to change) slayer within the land. They have been hired by kings, queens, and other sorts of nobility to defend their people in which they had done so without hesitation as long as the coin was ample enough compensation. Some spoke of how they were part god being able to do what they did, others think it was a few spells and magic. Yet whatever the case, the most recent bounty A had wanted to claim on a beast that was terrorizing a small village was nearly impossible. It had to be the most challenging creature A had ever come across. Yet, while lingering in the village actually wondering if the measly reward they would receive would be good enough for risking his life, B comes along claiming that they can help. A laughs and tells them how quickly they would be to perish, seeing as they didn’t look all that impressive or even fit enough to hold a blade properly. But B insists enough leaving A to sigh and reluctantly allowing them to follow, vowing they wouldn’t be responsible for their eventual demise.
The fight a few hours later was intense, A nearly dying themselves as they realized the grave mistake they made. Seeing as it looked as if B had turned and fled unlike themselves, A was about to accept their fate when another one of the creatures entered the fray, apparently defending A most likely to take the prey for themselves. Once the original creature was either scared off or killed, A was surprised to be helped up by B that had appeared out of nowhere. As it turns out, B is half -creature- which A has hunted in the past -

It was, to most people in the reasonably sized suburban town of Sodden, Georgia, a normal autumn day. The residents would rise, commute to work from their bedroom community, and go about their day as they so monotonously had the weeks or possibly even years prior. Yet today was also an abnormal day for many of the local youth as well as working adults. It was the grand opening of the newest high school in the area, Silver Sights High. The name was given because it been built on top of an old silver quarry, the land having been rather cheap to purchase considering all the work that had to be done to prepare it for the building’s construction. Filling in and stabilizing of the many mine-shafts and large hole that had remained vacant for so many years. At this point, the irony should’ve sunken in. It was the first time all of the staff were strictly nonhuman openly. Usually, with the current tension between the many races, it was second nature to most to conceal who they were and hide behind a series of lies they had taken the careful time to weave in order that they might live a peaceful, seemingly human, life. But, because of a series of recent crimes lead by a terrorist organization that went from promoting freedom to outright attacking human owned businesses that took advantage of the lack of rights given to various supernatural beings, the political shit hole that is the government of the United States of America decided it was time to step in. The president publicly announced the experimental school, stating that if they can coexist in a classroom, they can do so on the streets. He also went a step further in revealing the first lady, his wife, as inhuman herself. More specifically, an elf rather adept in magic who had been using a glamour to give herself a more human appearance.
The reaction was more than predictable.
As of right now, the nation is currently split. Those who support everything fully, and those that think humans to be superior in every way, shape, and form. Violence is at an all time high for the first time in a while. Humans and others alike trying to gain the upper-hand with rioting and murders. There had been a total of three confirmed assassination attempts on the presidential family, although none were successful due to the ward placed around the White House. Along with that, a vampire clan wreaked havoc in New York City, draining a whole subway of people during the morning rush while the national board of the most powerful mages began to try and worm their way into the democratic and republican political parties.
And with all this rucks putting Sodden in the public eye...precautions needed to be taken.
Police activity had been increased in the majority of areas (but more specifically around areas where nonhumans are suspected to live) along with the school being watched twenty-four seven by humans and mages alike as to assure that the first day would run smoothly.
Or as smoothly as it possibly could.
The staff was asked to report an hour before the doors opened (7:25) so final preparations could be made and anything discussed if need be.

I would prefer this be Teacher x Teacher but if you convince me otherwise I might bend and do Teacher x Student. For the latter that might even pair well with Karma's One Hell of a Bitch... Hmmm....
I would love for this to be FxF.
