If they/them prouns are confusing because it sounds plural Vulpini can go by ze/zem instead. I completely disagree that the exestaince of a nonbinary character would not be age-appropriate. Transgender children exist, actually the youngest nonbinary person I know is 12. Personaly I wish I knew about nonbinary genders as a child so I could figue myself out then. Being nonbinary isn't sexual or violent, it's not something to be hidden.
