Sometime after the school sports festival Bakugo had challenged Todoroki to a rematches their fight, the entire class knew about it but no one knew what happened that night except that something big had happened, after that night Bakugo had started treating Todoroki… Differently. It’s not like he wouldn’t yell at him or anything but his insults didn’t have as much passion behind them, anytime he noticed Todoroki getting upset he’d stop, and occasionally the two would exchange glances, apologetic looks from Bakugo after insults, and random sappy looks from Todoroki. Mostly everyone just assumed they were friends now but some people like Mina, Denki, Hagakure, and occasionally Momo thought there was something more, eventually Mina managed to get some photo evidence, pictures of them cuddling, kissing, hugging, etc. And every single one was immediately posted on social media. When Todoroki got the notification about them he barely glanced at his phone before his eyes widened and he looked back, for the next couple days he was mostly his usual self other than a few minor things, he wouldn’t go out in public with his friends, he’d stay in his room as much as possible, oh and he was avoiding Bakugo, his boyfriend, the reason behind this was Bakugo had been very clear he wanted their relationship kept private, now it wasn’t private, and he was scared of how Bakugo would react, so he didn’t give him a chance to. Please continue as Bakugo!

It's not that Bakugo Katsuki doesn't want people to know he's with Todoroki. But it isn't their damn business, and the fact that the extras keep sticking their noses in places they don't belong pisses him off! So he finds Todoroki Shoto sexy. It has no bearing on his idiot classmates.

So when his idiot classmates spread pictures around of stuff that isn't their problem, it makes him mad! He'd liked his private moments with Todoroki, when the two of them could steal little moments away from the real world. With their relationship out in the open, something's changed. Whatever he had going on with Todoroki has changed.

It's too much, and Katsuki has to take a step back from it all.

He wanted what he had with Todoroki to be special. And now it's not. Like everything else related to him, it's been flung out and thrown around and stomped on and - ruined.

He hates it.

It doesn't help that Todoroki isn't talking to him, either. Because those shitty extras couldn't keep their noses out of his business, Katsuki's lost his boyfriend. He doesn't know why, either - if Todoroki doesn't want to be with him now, or if his shitty dad said something. But either way, it's clear that what they had is over.

So he treats Todoroki the same way. He ignores the stupid half-n-half bastard, and pretends his stomach doesn't do stupid flips when he sees Todoroki's stupid face.

Todoroki had been hanging out with the rest of the dekusquad when Bakugo simply walked past him again, he could help his stomach from sinking, he was the one who had started the ignoring so he didn’t have any right to be upset over this, but he still did, he should’ve known that Bakugo would’ve ignored him, it was Bakugo after all, but he hadn’t thought about that, he hadn’t let himself think about that, he had still hoped… Hoped that he’d get pity, that was stupid though, he should’ve known he wouldn’t get pity from someone like Bakugo. He sighed quietly snd tried his best to focus back in on the conversation, without much luck but no one noticed really, his expression barely changed anyway
