Name: Dexter Moore
Appearance: View attachment 888622
Gender: Non Binary (They/Them and He/him)
Age: 19
Costume: [Undecided]
Hero Name: [undecided]
Personality: Pretty quiet, and observes first before anything. But once you get to know them, they are pretty energetic and happy. Kind of clueless as well.
Background:
They came from Portland, Oregon as they wanted something new. Their life was fairly normal, living in a middle class home with two parents and three other siblings, honor roll, and good friends. Yet they wanted something new, and happened to fall upon this school.

Quirk:
Goat - Basically there are two forms, an entirely goat form that is a literal goat, and the other version is a human with goat ears, horns the loop around the ears, a goat tail, and goat legs + hooves. They will also eat literally any food, *cough* or rapper *cough*. But has jaw problems, as they grind their teeth and tense up their jaw a lot, and more habits. When they get excited or too angry or scared, they bleat like a goat, which could give them away easily.
Trivia:
-They love stickers, and stuffed animals
-Music is something they are really into, and will get distracted easily with it around.

Very lovely character ^_^
Though bio may need a bit of a tweek. Just as the school isn't something you just fall upon

Name: Damari Stronghold
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Costume: Wish I could find some good ideas on the internet for this. TBD!
Hero Name: TBD!
Personality:
Damari is a well mannered young man who is quite happy to go with the flow. Up until now he’s had no reason to really push himself, which is why having a second chance at being a hero has made his so competitive.
Whilst being a good sport in general, Damari is a hard worker and can get a little bitter despite himself when his efforts don’t pay off. Overall, a decent guy to have around.
Background:
Damari has a pretty decent and average past when it comes from his perspective. He doesn’t know his father, but he knew his mother and her personalities quite well. If you ask him, the most interesting part of his childhood was dealing with his mother’s quirk, which gave her a second personality.

Unbeknownst to him however, the reason his father wasn’t in the picture was due to him being a villain. His father owns a quirk called ‘black matter’ which’s allowed him to freely make this material and bend it to his will.

This history is why Damari has the wrong idea about what his quirk actually is.
Quirk:
Damari thinks his quirk is one that allows him to armour his right hand with dark matter, which has slowly been spreading further and further up the inside of his arm as time goes on. His quirk however, is actually a crossover between his parents. The darkness comes from a core in his right hand, which has a consciousness of its own. Right now it’s trying to spread to his spinal cord in order to be able to communicate with him. Maybe afterwards he’ll finally have a more robust quirk!

To summarise:

Damari thinks he has a quirk which he’s named ‘armour.’ This floods his fist and the inside of his arm with dark matter, making an armour of sorts. The armour isn’t perfect however, as it looks like it follows veins rather than filling the whole thing.

He actually has a quirk that allows him to speak to this other consciousness, who in turn, can create the same dark matter as his father could.

I’ve made this as complicated as I could, I apologise. Please let me know if you need more info xD
Trivia:
-Favourite fruit is banana
-Struggles with basic studies
-Great therapist (thank his mom and her split personalities)

Excellent character. Though I might suggest looking at the quirk again. The dark matter armour sounds like it could actually be a pretty strong quirk.

Hmm I see, I’ll see how I can nerf it a bit!

Made a very basic change, the armour now only covers the INSIDE of his arm, rather than the whole thing. Makes it a lot less useful whilst still not harming the nature of the quirk!

She's about 5'2"
Name: Anko Shiromori
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Costume: Hasn't gotten around making one yet
Hero Name: Hasn't decided one yet

Quirk: Dragon's Breath - Anko's quirk manifests in the shape of some draconic aspects, the more notable at a first glance being her sharp, sturdy horns and her tail. The most important one, however, is an extra system of organs which allow her to generate a glowing, volatile fuel that'll ignite upon being regurgitated through her mouth or nose, of which she can store a notable amount within.

The catch is that her quirk hasn't manifested itself in a proper manner, and while she is resistant to some substances she remains as vulnerable to fire as an ordinary person. In other words, breathing fire will cause severe burns on her respiratory system. Furthermore, she can't stop her body from creating this fuel, and the only natural way to get rid of it for her is through the same mechanism that makes her spew fire. If she lets it accumulate, it causes physical discomfort not unlike a full bladder, and can lead to health issues down the line.

Currently she gets by thanks to a medical device implanted on her chest that drains and stores the fuel she produces in sizeable cells she has to change on a weekly basis through visits to a specialized doctor. Without its use, she'll have to vacate her "fuel organ" every twelve to eighteen hours. This substance is then sold to interested parties through the use of this same medic as an intermediary, and a hefty amount of those funds go to the maintainance costs of her quirk support device and the implements it may need.

Personality: Anko is a shy, reserved and insecure girl who often keeps her distance from others out of concern of her own condition. She speaks little and often tries to avoid it, as her throat can get rather dry if she talks too much, although she's more talkative if she happens upon someone familiar with sign language. Although talkative might not be the more accurate word given the context. Given the nature of her quirk, Anko is often overly cautious regarding her quirk support device, specially around heat sources.

Background: Anko Shiromori is one of the sadly frequent cases of quirk incompatibility. Of when the quirk develops in a way that isn't healthy for the body. Her mother was a quirkless woman who had an affair with the then retired hero, the once-renowned Great Fafnir. The resemblances are there: the black scales on that long, powerful tail, the powerful looking horns and the cold, sky-blue eyes. Yet unlike him, she was much more normal looking in all other aspects. She wasn't covered in scales from head to toe that let him tackle many fights, nor those majestic, dark wings that let him take off from the rooftops into the action below and terrorized many criminals in Fafnir's hayday. Much like him, she could breathe fire if she so willed.

Much unlike him, her body can't handle the stress.

It had happened while she was twelve. As a young girl, she got by through the early days of school just from the mutations she had. And this morning had felt odd. She had this throbbing pain in her chest, and she complained to the teacher. She was told to go to the nursery during recess. And she waited. The pain didn't relent. Her chest felt tighter. Hotter. Her throat felt odd. Like she had to cough and get a bit of dust out from it. So she felt like it'd help her get better. And so she coughed.

There were no fatalities, and only one heavily wounded patient, while just some kids got off with minor burns. It made it to the news, a small-note incident amidst larger ones. It wasn't the first time a manifestation went awry, after all. But she still remembers how badly burned her throat was. How she was unable to stop herself from spewing fire, despite how much it hurt. As if her body needed that reprieve, no matter the cost. She went through surgery after the fact, to find out what had happened. A benefactor paid for all the medical aid, if only to avoid another incident from resurfacing and revealing past misdeeds to his bethroded. It was he who began to support her family from behind the scenes with as minimum needed to ensure they'd remain quiet and low-profile, and who got her in touch with a man he worked with. And it was his image which loomed over everyone's head when they looked at the young Anko.

"She's his daughter?" "They kind of look like each other..." "She can breathe fire like him..." "But she's, like, a ticking time bomb, right?" "But her father's a hero. Shouldn't she be one too?" "Maybe she'll manage" "She shouldn't try and take the exam. She'll kill everyone".

Despite her best thoughts, she went ahead to try and take the exam to enter UA. A part of her hoped to get in, and get the best of the best to support the development of her quirk. Yet she couldn't make it past the first exams. Her fear was palpable. Not only couldn't she use her quirk even if her back was against the wall, she was a liability given that device on her chest. Given that glowing recipe of destruction.

The years paced and Anko slowly but surely began to accept her fate as an outcast, and as a risk to society. She took on a dead-end job on a spot where she wouldn't be endangering any lives, and a dead-end hobby doing nothing but consuming media of all kinds. That's when she got the letter; the invitation to Phoenix Academy. For a moment, the dreams she had long ago were rekindled and, for a moment, she believed there to be a way out. A way to take up her missing father's mantle and to make the most of her quirk and shackle. A way to become normal once and for all.

Trivia:
  • The quirk support device she uses is located on her lower chest, with the cell that stores the fuel nestled across her ribcage and between her breasts. The glow of the substance she produces is bright enough to be seen through a thick layer of clothing.
  • She thinks her doctor is being negligent on updating the support device for the simple sake of keeping a steady source of profit around.
  • She's an avid otaku, and has a fascination with idols. She's told this to no one yet.
  • She eats a fair bit for someone of her otherwise petite frame
  • The quirk support device adds her between two to eight kilograms, depending on how flustered she is and who is asking.

Name: Shutsu Ketsuke
Gender: Female
Age: 18

Hero Name: Undecided.
Costume: Undecided. Ketuke initially had a costume based off her father’s, however, the excessive incorporation of sharp objects was deemed a safety hazard and it was confiscated.

Personality: Upon meeting Ketsuke people tend to come to the conclusion that she’s a little unhinged, and they’d be pretty much correct in that assessment. Unfortunately, people also tend to take that as meaning she’s dangerous to be around or stupid, a misconception not helped by her unfamiliarity with social protocol or the twisted worldview instilled into her by her upbringing. In actuality, Ketsuke is a very friendly person and really only wants to help others.

Background: Ketsuke was raised in a less than ideal environment, while she wasn’t physically abused in any way, she was subject to psychological abuse and a range of traumatising experiences. Both her parents were known villains and attempted to raise her as such, teaching and showing things to her that left a significant impact on her psyche.
Her life under her parents' roof was abruptly ended after one of her parents' criminal endeavours went wrong, ultimately resulting in their arrest. Ketsuke doesn’t know the details of the arrest herself and is in denial as to any criminal activity on her parents' behalf in the first place.
Ketsuke was given a very lenient punishment for any criminal actions she took while under the care of her parents as it was determined that she played no role in their crimes on her own free will or knowledge. It was decided that she’d be subject to a psychological examination, and if deemed safe to be around others, enrolled into the hero course as a probationary student.
Unfortunately, with a criminal record, Ketsuke’s options were limited, or rather non-existent once it was determined that a lack of higher education meant she was ineligible to sit the written portion of the entrance exam and concerns about letting her use her quirk in the practical exam were raised. At least that was until she received an offer from the Phoenix Academy.

Quirk - Sanguimancy: Ketsuke’s quirk, Sanguimancy, allows her to telekinetically shape and control any blood she is in contact with including her own. While she can put some force through the blood she controls, roughly equivalent to a punch, there are limitations and strong impacts can result in her quirk "losing its grip”. She cannot control blood once it has hardened and her control rapidly diminishes as blood is diluted.

Trivia:
  • As she is most often forced to use her own blood for her quirk, overusing her quirk often leaves her severely anemic.
  • Her blood type is AB+.
  • She has to take supplements and has a massive appetite to replenish the blood she loses from the frequent reckless use of her quirk.
  • Ketsuke was pulled out of school at 11. She has a very limited education but does know a fair bit about criminal operations and some biology, particularly haematology.

She cannot control blood once it has hardened and her control rapidly diminishes as blood is diluted.
Ketsuke quirk also provides her with the secondary benefit of having a lot more blood than the average person, with almost all the fluid that would naturally occur within her body being replaced by blood, a trait that while beneficial in terms of using her quirk, more often than not leads to messes when she starts to sweat. Unfortunately, even with this additional blood, as she is most often forced to use her own blood for her quirk, overusing her quirk often leaves her severely anemic.

I really love the background for your character, though the perk may not be a great fit for this setting. Pm me and we can discuss ^_^

I can work more on it and or adjust if something is bad like if his quirk isn't good enough!
Name: Kaito Nagawa

Appearance: fishy (2).pngGreen/Blue spikey hair, 5’6’’, spikes/spines running down his back and on his tail. More fin- like spines on his forearms and calves. Webbed toes/fingers.

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Costume: N/A

Hero Name: The Iguana

Personality: Shy, easily excitable though

Background: Growing up in a smaller village by the sea, he has had plenty of practice swimming. He worked summers as a lifeguard. He’s loved helping/saving people, he’s always wanted a larger scale of that. Rejected from Universities; his only “real” ability is swimming fast. Hardly hero material, he realizes. Not a lot of issues happen in the ocean often; Heroes are needed on land. Even if he were used to swim somewhere fast, he’s not very strong. He’s struggled to gain muscle his whole life, most of his strength is in his tail which he uses to help propel him in water. Not to mention, he’s not great on his feet outside of water. He’s more sloppy on land as the air is different from the comforting water currents.

Quirk: iguana qualities. Tail, spine/spikes down his back/tail, ability to swim 25mph, able to hold breath for 30 minutes, webbed toes/fingers which make swimming easier, however he’s more clumsy with human items. Pencils, phones, gripping larger items. Can’t drive, and can’t sit in chairs with backs on them because of his tail.

Trivia:
Has to sit in backed chairs sideways, his tail is too thick to be easily flexible.
Clumsy outside of water.
