Fantasy Pestilence: Master of Puppets

Dahmerette

She has a morbid fascination with blood

In this world, Pestilence has Risen and wants to create his own Army, to strike back at the Devil, for being under his demonic thumb for soo many centuries.

Pestilence was the first of His Brothers to awaken and blend into his spot among humanity. The disease is his own child, his own Spawn, bred to bring horror and torture down on those who become infected. Once infected, Pestilence thinks for them, decides what;s right and wrong for them, and even tells them. As a Master Puppeteer, Pestilence also blends among the common folk, changing his appearance as he pleases, keeping his cover to bleed into more, spawning his infectious Puppets.

In the town of Lillydale sits a safe village. It acts as a refuge to those who have found this safe haven and are not infected. Many have lost their families, kids, friends, even pets to the infectious disease. The land around this safe haven isn't deserted, just inhabited by what's left of the rotting carcasses of demon filled blood. The rules in this Safe Village are simple: Don't get infected.

  • Always carry a weapon with you no matter what
  • Operate on the buddy system unless you are in the Main Refuge/Living Quarters
  • Keep your head on Straight, Infected are very good manipulators.

Keep Distance if you come in contact with Infected, once you get infected, everyone is liable to kill you

Here is the Living Quarters where most of the people live

Inside there are individual dorms, two to a dorm in case of emergancy.

Downstairs holds the Dining room,Kitchen, Medical rooms and a weaponry. All Dorms are upstairs.

When outside of the Refuge, be on your gaurd at all times, you never know what lurks around each corner. However if you do find the courage to venture into the unknown, you may just find more weapons, food, medicine etc.

Christine stood looking at herself in the mirror, Her husband and chidren had been dead had been dead for only a couple short months, and even though her house had its guests, its halls and rooms filled with people of all ages, She had never felt more alone. Her family was her life and in the blink of an eye, she massacred her own living. She placed a styling cream on the tips of her fingers and entangled her hands through her short brunette hair.

Huffing , she forced herself out of the bathroom and into her pristine bedroom. She kept every inch of her house spotless Just because outside there was alot of killing and bloodshed didn't mean that blood had to be tracked inside. The Halls and .. hopefully the other bedrooms were being kept clean. She respected the others privacy and only cleaned with their permission

It was not 8 AM, Breakfast for all those who wanted some. She waled down the hall in her silk floral robe, mug of freshly brewed coffee in hand, and knocked on all the doors.

Ryan looked upstairs as Falsetto knocked awake everyone in the house, even if you didn't want breakfast you still had to get up, that was her way, she liked things in order and being in... or was in the Army he could understand that. He let out a small yawn, one of his guns sitting across his lap. He wore a plain white tank top, muscles bulging, his hair tied back in a man bun, and Stewie pajama pants. With his rag in hand, he glided it along his gun, making it shine and shimmer.. well not all that Girly shimmer but just enough to his standards, He already grabbed himself an Apple and his own mug of coffee wich was conviently in a pink, floral mug.

Salem yawned amd retracted her blanket over her face.. " Nooo." She grumbled. She didn't like waking up soo early and would often try to weasel her way into another hour of sleep The rooms in the house were big enough to hold two or maybe three people to a room, but for now unless they found more Survivors everyone got their own room which she liked the solitude. She didn't hate company, but she enjoyed being alone. Her hair in a messy bun atop her head she opened the door to a smiling Falsetto, She didn;t know how the , now Widow, did it she only lost her family a while ago, yet she smiled every damn day.

" Can;t i sleep a bit more?" Salem whined.

" And miss my Crepes? Not a chance Dear." Christine gave her a pat on the shoulder and moved on down the hall.

Blair's door was knocked on next but it could be barely heard due to her blaring music, she swiftly clicked it off and opened the door, she stood in the archway wearing plain black skinny jeans and a black tight fitting t-shirt and a red flannel left undone over the top, her multi-coloured hair left untouched and wavy. Christine informed her of breakfast. She said simply she'd been down soon and shut the door.

Blair took a moment of quiet bliss to thank the world for sending her here, a place where she'd never felt so loved and included.

'I'm probably the only person left in the world thankful for an apocalypse." She giggled and then turned to go downstairs.

Aurora was startled awake by a knock on her door. She'd been having a strange dream, and it took her a moment to clear her head. When she felt less disoriented, she blinked, sighed, and sat up, strands of dark hair falling into her face. She said a quiet "thank you" to Christine, then got out of bed and looked down at her outfit. Rora had slept in her normal clothing, and she didn't bother to get dressed. It wasn't so much that she didn't want to change, but that she didn't have much to change into.

Rora yawned and ran a hand through her hair before tying it up in a ponytail and heading downstairs.

The aroma of cooking bacon filled the lower level of the would be bed and breakfast. The cyborgs were filled with processed and scratch ingredients . Christine had her hand on her hip as she flipped the grease ridden pork.

Ryan left his spot to have a seat in the dining room, an old newspaper in front of him as he sipped his coffee. Newspaper was no longer in circulation as the outbreak had killed off most of the " important " people in society and government. He noticed that before all the metaphorical sh*t hit the fan there was a long line of crimes. Murders, arson, domestic abuse you name it. All rage endused crimes.

Salem emerged from her room like a hermit from its shell. Her hair tied in s lose ponytail to her right side wearing a black spaghetti strap tank top underneath a cream colored sweater two sizes too big so it hung off her right shoulder exposing some of her many tatoos. Her pants were solid black down to her mid thigh then for the rest of the way way were see through adorned with spider webs her eyes rimmed with dark liner and her lips were a bright ladybug red. She walked downstairs. And greeted everyone with a semi awake smile.

" soo where are those crepes?" She asked excited. Even though she was skinny... Salem loved Fooooood.

" don't get your panties in a knot love they're coming." Christine said looking over from the stove

Rora stood in the doorway, surveying the scene in front of her. She hadn't bothered to learn anyone's names, as she had never been a very social person. The only person she really knew was Christine, but then again, Rora barely knew anything about her. A man was reading a newspaper and drinking what she assumed was coffee, or perhaps tea. No, he seems like a coffee person, she thought to herself, moving on to the next person, a girl who had just entered the room. She was absolutely gorgeous, and Rora felt more than a bit envious of her looks, as well as her outfit. Rora shook her head, letting out a silent laugh, and sat in the seat farthest away from anyone else, not wanting to intrude on their morning activities.

Ryan sipped his steaming coffee and looked up from the paragraph he was reading on a suspected Arsonist. a Girl he had seen roaming around the halls but never talked to. she looked quite she and introverted. He placed his mug down and cleared his throat. Bacon essence filling his nostrils he grunted a bit from his growling stomach.

" Tat bacon better be done soom, i'm starving." He semi-joked looking over to Christine as she cooked the pork strips.

" They'll be done soon enough, cool your jets." She laughed as she turned the flame off and grabbed a nice glass plate, etched with rose s on the edges, and placed the heap of bacon on the kitchen island smiling to her guests.

Salem grinned " All right, baacoooon." She took two peices, waiting for the Crepes. Christine made amazing crepes, providing she had the ingredients. Speaking of which, today was Monday.. a few of the guests would be going on a runfor supplies, Each run was different. different people different items each times. Salem pondered over the thought and sat down a few seets away from Rora, peering over to Ryans newspaper. He glanced over ad saw her looking over his shoulder.. he retreated away from her as she chuckled, eating her bacon.

Rora folded her hands on the table, glancing up when the man cleared his throat, and allowing a small smile to cross her face when he joked about starving. Soon after, Christine set a plate of bacon on the counter in front of her. It smelled absolutely fantastic. Rora waited politely for the others to get their food first, as she didn't want to take a piece someone else had been eyeing.

Salem kept looking at the paper eying the under layer with various etchings. Ryan glared in the direction of Rora, but not actually glaring at her. He cleared his throat again.

" You want the comics don't you?" He held up his portion of the paper to reveal three month old comics, Dilbert was completely blacked out.

" Christine. wat do you have against Dilbert.." She asked as Christine looked over

" Ohh.." Falsetto chuckled, playing with a peice of pork. " My Husband took a marker and crossed all of them out,,He didn't think you should have to pop a blood vessel trying to figure out a joke." She smiled a bit, stuffing meat in her mouth

Salem felt awkward when she remembered Him, she never knew what to do so she walked around the corner and gave her a small hug

" Ohh it's alright Dear, i always kept another copy.. i liked Dilbert." She smiled and nodded over to one of the cupboards containing all her spices.

Salem scoured the shelves and found folded up comics, making a small gesture of excitement as she unfolded and became amused with the family circus.

" Now.." Christine stood, straightening her robe." What kind of crepes do you guys want?" She asked each of them

" Strawberry.." Ryan called out, noticing that made him look a bit girly , but hey Strawberries were his favorite.

" kinda feeling in the mood for Blackberry.." Salem called out, still engrossed in her comics.

Rora was fiddling with her necklace when Christine asked what flavor crepes everyone would like. The other two answered first. Rora smiled when the man asked for strawberry, as it was one of her favorite fruits.

"I'll have strawberry as well, please," she said in a quiet voice, and quickly added, "if it isn't too much trouble, that is."

Ryan looked at Rora. " Good choice..always in the mood for some strawberries." He smiled, taking another swig of his coffee. he reached behind his head to untie his man bun, letting his un-tamed curls run about freely.

Christine Smiled and shoo her head ." No trouble at all Dear i'm happy ti make you breakfast." She adored cooking for people, it was one of her passions. and having all th guests at her house made her feel like she was in some type of family again,

Blair tip toed downstairs to the dining room a book under arm, the other's all sat around the table, having their orders for crepes taken.

"Blueberry, please!" She called sliding in a seat on the far end of the table. She smiled at her housemates but said nothing more, she simply pulled out her book and began reading.

Falsetto looked over her shoulder at the newcomer as she was getting the ingredients as she spoke" Alright, you guys, after breakfast, i want Ryan and Rora to go on a run for supplies" She trailed off, setting the flour and eggs on the table. " We're running low on a few things, i'll write down a list for the both of you." She looked between the two. Ryan gave a slight nod.

" And, I will do some cleaning around here in case you pick up any stranglers along the way,, probably wont though i's been dead out there.. How abou Blair and Salem pick out some entertainment?" Christine's dream was to have a huge bed and breakfast at the manor. Contractors worked around the clock when she bought the place and it was the spitting image of what she had pictured.

There was a lovely screening room off the corner of the house and she had been dying to use it since she had more people in the house.
