He can use it because of him switching sides, much like a gun. One hand which is one time, the other is the second. Then wait before he ends up with burn marks on his hand that can hurt.
 
I'm trying, I'm not good at this and how its set up. I can't think of anything good right now, which is frustrating.

Kirin is a loyal; hardworking, trusted person. Kirin despite having a desire to work hard and, become better he sometimes chooses not to be surrounded by violence and, has the tendency to avoid minor conflict unless he is forced to go out of his way to settle the matter. Kirin, when he was younger, was described as one of the safest kids to be around and, others rely on him for the fact not much of anything goes bad around him. Kirin is slightly cautious towards the use of his quirk and is very pessimistic when using it. He believes that bad things will always come around when you're the bringer of fire and, is a hellish signature. Kirin usually worries a lot, more or less what's been going on around his vicinity and, hopes nothing incredibly unfortunate happens to him in the long run. Back in elementary, he was the shy girly type, and with the last name, kirigiri people assume he'd act girly and be scolded by most men.

When Kirin is confronted, he'll oftentimes tense up and, hope for the better and not get brutalized by people bigger and tougher than he is. He has a hard time standing up for himself and, lack self-confidence. Once he's in the heat of a fight, he becomes more of a savage beast with an antagonistic personality being overwhelmed in violent situations changes Kirin personality a bit. He becomes way more focused on one thing and, one thing only and not giving a care about what's around him that will eventually get someone hurt because, of his carelessness. Kirin will feel much guilt but doesn't have enough say to apologize about things he does if it's intentional or not and, he'll call himself cruel and unwanted. Kirin can be quick to trigger and, will have a killing intention though passive aggressive about the thought.

Before he got enrolled as a student in the heroes Academy, Kirin had always kept things to himself. He usually doesn't associate with others that much, or at all even. His dad sometimes encourages his son to be more out towards people instead of being someone trapped inside of a closet, though speaking of being trapped in a closet (not literally). Kirin has questioned who he was and if his father would accept him despite being his only son. He had those thoughts coming in when he was about fourteen. Kirin didn't feel like who he was actually was, or meant to be. Kirins dad sensed that something was troubling his son, he figured out what it was, despite Kirin dodging it and, lying about it. Around the time he was about eleven was his first fight with his bully, that somehow Kirin reached a boiling point and couldn't fed up with it and decided to settle things. His quirk became apparent at four, but never actually used it until that time when he was bullied.

Between that time and the age of fourteen, Kirin had a little interest in one of the boys in his school. He acted weird at first and, brought out his mother's traits that embarrass him. That was when he was questioning who he was and, mostly everything else he thinks about bothered him that forced his dad to make him face one of his fears. It didn't matter what Kirin was, he's still someone that his father has to protect at all cost. When Kirin powers manifested, he and his dad began immediate training in order to get ready for the day he finally becomes the true hero.

General Information

Nicknames: Aki-kun, Kicchan, Kira, Mr. Fuji, Fuji-san, Eyes, Ki-kun, Aki.

Age: 39.

Gender: Male.

What they will teach: Homeroom.

Appearance: From the get-go, Akira has an appearance that is much more younger in looks than his actual age of 39. Often getting people to mistake him for someone much younger, which he does not like. Some call him cute at times. Despite his plain appearance, Akira is actually quite muscular and buff underneath his clothing. Completely ripped, but most people do not know that. His hair is brown and have a long length, and looks messy. Akira's eyes are two different colors as a result of his quirk, with his right being blue and left being white. The white one is unnatural.

Height: 5 feet and 8 inches, so a bit shorter than most of the teachers(and some of the students).

Weight: 179lbs.



Personality




Personality: Akira's personality is one that gives off a certain vibe of nothing but a carefree feeling, generally being a person who knows what he wants to do with their life and does exactly that. In his case, it's to be a superhero who inspires those who've got low self-esteems to just be themselves. Somewhat of a cliche goal, but it's the goal he has in mind for being a hero. To inspire all of those who don't believe in themselves, and to show that even a guy like him can be an influential person. That kind of thing.

A thing about Akira is that he possesses a determination and dedication unlike any other, and is willing to go very, very far to achieve a dream once he becomes obsessed, just very fond of or is actually serious about doing it. Dedication to the dream of wanting to become one of those heroes he once looked up to in back when he was still a child. A determination to become something that may just kill him one day.

His general behaviour around others is one that's quite friendly, and some might even consider it too friendly. As he disregards the concept of private space itself and often just barges right in without a warning at all, and is often just in your face. Most find it quite uncomfortable, but it's just the way he likes to show affection to others. Though despite this very friendly behaviour, Akira is never one to try and get too close to someone in a personal way. With the main reason being horrible experiences in the past, and fear of losing control but isn't really a flaw of his at all.

Some also describe him as being mischievous, as he's got the habit of sometimes pulling pranks and teasing them to no end. And it makes him appear a bit more immature than one might expect when dealing with a person of his age group. Being the one who's most likely the oldest out of the teachers, people normally expect something more serious from him. Akira's playfulness knows no bounds whatsoever.

It even manages to sink itself deep into his working hours, as he can still be playful and never serious in that kind of work. It may just be that his fooling around is the only thing he's ever serious at. It's to the point that some heroes that have worked with him question whether or not he's serious about this job. Some others just think it shows that he's cocky and overconfident, but he does get the job done even if the trait may kill him one day.

Though he may live a carefree life, he is very indecisive. Often requiring the opinion of others when it comes to even some easy questions like, "Where do ya wanna go today?" and other questions along the lines of that. Akira often takes a long time before answering, just thinking of the pros and cons of each choice if he can't get the opinion of someone else.

Relationships:

Family
Yusuke Fujimoto, Father - Both are on good terms, though he doesn't really like the fact that Akira is a pro hero and feels that he could've been something better and less dangerous. Yusuke is a famous fashion designer.

Hifumi Kawakami, Mother - Also on good terms, and worries about the life Akira leads as a pro hero. He often tells her it'll be alright, though she continuously worries. Like her husband, she is also a fashion designer.

Ryuji Fujimoto, Younger Brother - The two share a brotherly relationship, and are on very great terms with each other. They're close and being the big brother that he is, Akira wishes to protect his brother from all harm despite both being grown ups.

Player Character
Masaru Kurosawa, Rival( @Trombone ) - Another teacher at PSA and one who he's in a bad relationship with. With the reason being a mission in the past, in which they both argued on how they were to do the mission, and Akira creating a portal beneath Masaru's feet and transporting him some place far away. Which in turn, caused the mission to go very wrong and fail as Akira's over-confidence was their downfall. And so, their rivalry began.

Backstory: Born into his family of four as the eldest among the two children, Akira and Ryuji Fujimoto were two brothers who came to establish a very brotherly relationship. Their parents, Yusuke Fujimoto and Hifumi Kawakami were two fashion designers who met during work and eventually came to fall in love each other. The two boys lived in a rich household that loved each other very much, and as typical kids of their age surrounded by the buzz regarding heroes, it was only natural that they wanted to become them too.

Both kids were subject to two things, things that their parents wanted them to do so that at least they could become something in the future if they didn't find their calling.That being piano lessons given by private tutors, and singing lessons as an added bonus for Akira as he was the one that had a great voice out of the two. Being subject to these lessons at a young age, both boys came to learn how to play a piano at a young age. Akira learning also how to sing alongside that.

Though the two boys had always found their own thing to be passionate about instead, for Akira it was his art. Having an innate talent for art, capable of drawing pretty pictures and abstract art at a young age. It was his passion. Meanwhile, Ryuji had found his passion in acting instead. Being given the star role in plays, and overall just had found what his calling was. Though the two had different passions, they still managed to create a loving brotherly relationship with each other. At that point, both seemed to have found what they wanted to be in the future.

Later in life, Akira entered a college as an art major. Still so very passionate about creating and perfecting his art, Akira pursued the life of an artist. Whilst his brother Ryuji decided to go pursue his own dreams too. Akira expected himself to be fully dedicated to this, and never once had he thought he'd eventually be attending multiple parties with alcohol and the such. Through bad decisions and 'helpful' friends, Akira developed quite the crippling addiction to alcohol. But despite it, he still held through to the end of his college course.

At that point in his life, Akira thought he'd be having an easy life with an Art Degree. But no, he thought wrong. Trying to find a single job in that field was something he found hard, and it only served him to go deeper into his alcohol addiction. He kept telling himself he could find some job he'd be satisfied with involving art, he just kept telling himself that. The addiction was something he kept to himself and felt too personal to mention to his family, not even his brother so he kept on his carefree mask on. So he just kept on going on and going through different interviews.

Getting rejected and rejected time to time again only made him go further down the downward spiral. Drinks and the such were getting more abundant in his lavish apartment, he was just going down the stairs to hell at this point in his life. And it didn't took a while before family started noticing, the first being his brother. The one who he still had regular contact with, Akira started carrying with him flasks of alcohol with him around everyday. And took regular drinks even with people around, during the day, afternoon, just any time. Ryuji didn't think much about it at the time.

It wasn't until he got a case of alcohol poisoning when the two were out in a bar and passed out that the whole family started to piece that Akira got a crippling alcohol addiction he didn't tell anyone about. The poor boy got admitted to the hospital later that night because he didn't show any signs of getting better. This news would, of course, shock his family as he's always been known to be carefree and happy with his life to them. A guy that didn't let shit get to him, and always kept his head high.

And at that moment in time, Akira searched for help and support from his family to help with this addiction of his as well as work. But the most important thing currently was his health, and they helped him trying to get his addiction away or at least just help him reduce it any way they could. Then came with the problem of finding some job that he'd be happy with. The idea of becoming a pro hero was one he didn't get immediately, it only came up when he watched the news about another hero capturing some villain.

Having used to admire heroes back when he was small, it just entertained the idea of becoming a hero more. It sounded like an idea that he could actually do with his quirk, even if he was inexperienced. The boy would only get better if he continued to do this work, so why not? Why not? And from that moment, he decided for himself. He was going to be a pro hero, and nothing would stand in his way. So he brought it up with his family. And came a few protests, particularly his dad, but he really wanted this and made that very clear so they came to accept it.

So, with that said, Akira applied himself for a hero license. And through hard work, manages to get it at the age of 29. And from then on, he tackled the life of a pro hero with a flare that he showed only when he faced art, though still quite carefree and never serious as he did. Akira assisted with many different missions, particularly capture missions under a new name. Taking the mantle of Warping Hero, Deguchi. Which is Japanese for exit.

Throughout his time as a pro hero, Akira got himself fit and dedicated himself to a training regime to gain the ripped build he has now. Starting off as a small time hero who didn't know much about things, he learned quick. Developing his own way of fighting against villains and getting to know his quirk much better now that he was a pro hero. And he still had somewhat of an alcohol addiction, though it isn't as severe as it was before. He felt happy.

Though there was just this feeling of dissatisfaction that he felt after the years of doing this work, a feeling of wanting to be something more than this. Rescuing people and children would bring his a feeling of joy, but only ever seeing them when doing that kind of work just didn't feel enough. And so, came the transition from the field to the classroom. Using his smarts and the shit he learned to college as well as his quirk, he helped with the creation of the hero academy known as Peace Sign Academia. After it was completed, he just knew this was what he wanted to do right now. Teaching the next generation, and seeing 'em follow their dreams was what he definitely wanted to do now.

Reason for becoming a teacher: His reason is simple, and that is to build confidence in the future generation of heroes so they would have unmatched courage to face danger.

How He Helped The School: Assisted in transferring bricks and other hard to carry materials as well as materials in general easily.

Art - His true passion, where Akira puts all his dedication into. Where he creates artistic drawings and the such, of beautiful proportions. In short, he knows how to create art.
Reflexes - He's grown fast reflexes.
English - Akira learned how to speak the language fluently by paying attention in class and continuous listening to music in that language, also research because he was curious.

Hero Name: The Warping Hero, Deguchi.

Hero Costume: The costume he wears is a simple one, consisting of a blue and grey hoodie and a plain white shirt underneath. He wears a pair of jeans, with specialized black boots with iron soles to boost power when kicking and iron knee pads to knee with more power. He also wears a pair of black reinforced gloves with knuckles to boost his punching power more.

Notable Feats as a hero:
-Has played many major roles when it came to missions requiring the capture of villains.
-Akira has single-handedly taken down multiple groups of villains before.
-He's responsible for the capture of many different villains.
-Assisted in multiple raids and rescue missions before, often on the front lines warping from one place to another and creating helpful warp gates other heroes use.

Hero Style: Typically engaging in capturing work, using his ability to create warp gates as a means to cut off the enemy and to be very unpredictable with his attacks. With a quirk like his, he's very useful in these types of missions as he can easily assault them directly head on if in his visual range and incapacitate them so long as they don't have any defensive quirks. And if he were to get in a fight, his unpredictable way of fighting can throw an enemy off especially if they don't know his quirk. Occasionally goes on rescue missions as well.

Quirk: Warper's Eyes - An emitter type quirk possessed by Akira Fujimoto, which gives him the ability to, as the name implies, warp. Through the creation of warp gates, of two varying colors only each linked to the portal that has the same given color as the other one. These warp gates take the appearance of a fractured circle of either a completely blue or a completely white color, giving it a futuristic sort of look to it. In the middle of these fractured warp gate circles are displayed what happens to be in front of the portal. Such as a wall, if it was created in front of one or basically any given surrounding that just so happens to be in front of it. These portals can be of any given size Akira wants them to be, big or small, so long as he wills it it's whatever size you want.

This quirk gives Akira strange eyes however, that are quite in their appearance. Much like the portal itself, the eyes have either an all-blue or an all-white appearance. With fractured circles, beautifully broken into multiple pieces replacing the pupils and his irises becoming either all-blue or all-white and three points forming a sort of 'Y' shape. These eyes can either be both the same color, but it more useful if both colors are present. One for each eye. White usually dominating the left eye while blue dominates the right eye. Overall, these eyes of his are given a pretty and celestial look to them that are great to look at. And for whatever reason, it's also effected the color of his pupils when not activated. It gave him heterochromia, making his eyes blue and white.

Given how this quirk works, it's got weaknesses. With the most obvious of them all being the fact that he cannot create a portal at a certain place without having direct eye contact with it, so anytime he blinks is an opportunity to get him as well as just covering his eyes. Another is the limit of portals he can create. At the same time, he can create two pairs of portals. Linked together by their color, so a total of four portals can be created at the same time. There's no time limit as to how long he can keep them open, so long as he wants them open it is open so that is a plus. But loss of concentration can easily lead to his downfall, as he requires concentration to keep them open and the bigger the portal, the more focus it needs.

Though despite the many limited uses for offensive capability, there is one that makes these portals quite deadly. That being the severing of a link between two portals when a person is still passing through it. When portals are closed, their links are cut off, obviously. But if something were to get caught in between them whilst it's closing, that thing won't be spat out the same as it was. No, it will also be cut off like a hot knife through butter. Giving quite the clean cut. Same with living organisms, cut off once the link is cut off. So it's quite deadly if Akira is not concentrated, but has many uses nonetheless.

To combat that weakness of limited offensive capability, Akira developed his own way of combat through his quirk during his time as a pro hero. Nicknamed by him as 'Warped Combat', it is the simple of way of utilizing his portals to fight using his fists and legs whilst at a range. Only requiring him to have very fast eyes, as he needs to look before creating a portal. Fast and dangerous appearance and disappearances of portals, he punches and kicks through them to fight. It gives the thrill of fast paced combat, though brings risk as he could lose an arm or leg or maybe even kill himself if not careful.

Surprise, Bitch - A very straightforward and normally effective move, consisting of his simply putting a warp gate in front or back of his target directly then going through it. Afterwards he either tackles or just grapples them then slams them on the ground.

Last Surprise - Direct frontal assault, normally starting with him creating a warp gate in front of his target than just tackling them to the ground before beating the absolute shit out of them. Hard. No hesitation or anything.

Warped Dive Kick - Akira creates two portals, one high above the opponent and one in front of him. Then he runs to create momentum before going through the portal, jumping as he does in a way of doing a flying kick. And he basically just moves through the portals, kicking his opponent when moving out of the second portal above the opponent.

One-Two Punch - Two punches in rapid succession, but instead through portals. The portals can generally be anywhere, and are used as a means to surprise attack.



The only correction this needs is that you don't "apply" for a hero licence. Once having passed into adulthood, the only way to get a hero licence is to be hired as a sidekick of a pro hero and gradually working your way into being given a licence

i don't particularly recall anything they say in the canon about how fully grown adults become heroes if they haven't before, but if you say so, alright. i've a question though, are the pro heroes needed for him to become a sidekick of and eventually getting that license can be canon, or are we allowed to just make them up?

And yeah, pro heroes are needed, but you can just make up who those pro heroes are, so long as you don't take any character without licence from it's creator(s)

Akashi is tall, standing at 6'4", and weighs 250 pounds. He isn't chubby, however, being quite muscular. He could be described as as a model by some, if not delinquent by the troublesome air about him. His expressions are mostly stoic, a general "don't care" look.

Akashi's costume consists of a black high collared suit under carefully placed steel armaments, to maximize protection as well as agility and speed. In his steel bracers are Tonfa blades, for emergencies.

Personality:
Akashi is, by definition, a delinquent. Akashi is blunt, straight forward. While this ensures his honesty, it often gets him in trouble. He cares little for his own safety, or for authority. He places heavy importance on loyalty, He enjoys violence, due to his backround. He views the world as boring, caring about opinions. He has made it a point to do whatever he wants, and cares not for people's opinion.

Akashi is labeled as mean as well, due to his crushing trait. Most look at his youth and appearance as weakness, such was the case with many adults, but such breeds insubordination. And as he sees it, that will be crushed. He enjoys completely destroying opposition, crushing hope and annihilating any will to fight. Akashi keeps fighting, even after the victory is achieved, to snuff out any thought you could win. Admittedly sadistic.

Finally, Akashi enjoys fear. Blessed with the fighting talent of both his hero parents, he likes to show just how futile a fight is. He isn't some prodigy academic wise, but he studies enough to get by. Just for when people see how good he is in a fight, and assume he's some muscle bound idiot.

Likes:
Akashi loves to fight, but only when he feels like it. He likes black suits, and wears them almost every where. He listens to rap music, as a hype for himself. Finally, he spends more time in a gym then he does anything else.

Dislikes:
Akashi values loyalty, and as such, hates disloyalty. He hates authority over him, as he's used to being at the top. He dislikes any sort of loss, and laziness.

Backstory:
Akashi was born son to Boxer, a famous hero known for his many fighting talents, despite not having a quirk, and Queen Blade, a hero that used swords made out of air. When his quirk manifested after a wild tantrum, he planned on becoming a hero, like his parents. He grew up like a normal child, only he learned various fighting styles, like Kickboxing and Tai Chi Chuan from his father, the idea coming from dozens of boxing movies and anime. As he went through elementary and middle school, Akashi became a sort of school bully. He didn't bully anybody, but due to the scary air around him, people assumed the worst. At 14 Akashi became the leader of a fight club, a "friendly" one, that didn't allow betting or quirks. It was simply fighting to fight. It was seen as a gang, but legally, nobody could do anything. With his prodigal fighting ability and top grades, Akashi originally planned on going to UA with recommendations, but once he heard about peace sign academy, he turned UA down in favor of PEA.

But her suicidal self jumped in and defended me. Maybe she thinks I was a bully too, but she's still nice. I never told her about it all, and I don't care. She's still nice, so I protect her. Quirk:
Air blades- An Emitter type quirk that sends out a blade made of wind, shaped like a strike the user makes with me their arms or legs. For example, if Akashi punches straight out, a spear like air blade will fly forward. Or if Akashi does a ake kick, an air blade shaped arced like his kick will appear. As he is now, each air blade only packs enough punch as af he actually punched or kicked you, and can only cause small to shallow cuts. when overused, every air blade he uses after the limit will also cut himself. As he is now, he can only go for ten minutes before hitting his limit.

  • Clawed fury: by using his hand like claws, Akashi is able to make smaller, albeit faster air blades. Currently, When using both hands, he has the potential to create dozens of blades.​

Mao doesn’t bother too much with a costume. She usually dons a domino mask and draws on a white hooded coat over herself and goes as is. Perhaps she doesn’t fear being seen, or being recognised, and mostly just wears what can be constituted as a costume in the most minimal way possible just because she is obligated to.

Personality:
‘Just some lady’ is how Mao prefers to describe herself. Just a normal lady who just happened to end up teaching at PSA. She is, personally, quite easy-going and approachable, making her the least intimidating person on campus on that account. She has a remarkable memory for faces and names, and the reputations of various people, allowing her to easily initiate conversations.

The public’s main opinion of her is that she is a nice lady, almost humble to a fault, and shies away from the spotlight most of the time. She makes light of her own abilities, and downplays all of her traits. She, personally, finds herself to be quite unimportant to the Pro Hero scene, and admits that almost anyone else could do her job better than she can, with less planning, thinking, and overall effort involved. That said, she also admits that she continues as a Pro Hero because she needs to carry some of that burden herself, if only just a little of it, indicating that she at least thinks she is able to do something.

She often prioritises other people over herself, and worries herself sick over others than herself. As a teacher, she is like to push for free time and personal study periods, and as such, exerts herself to plan well ahead of time what topics she will cover with strategic precision. Though it takes a toll on her stress, she is the most likely to ensure that her students are enjoying campus life and still be able to learn and ace their exams.

As a hero, she seems to be able to understand that some things have to be done. While she actively avoids direct confrontations with villains, and opts to claim an objective over combat, she has also expressed and exhibited the ability to use underhanded means to achieve victory. She doesn’t believe in killing a foe, but has severely crippled several villains, and knows especially soft targets on a body where a wound will put the limb out of commission, and when pushed to the extreme, she can toss out her usual disposition on killing out of the window without too much weight on her shoulders.

Her easy going personality is also one of her biggest flaws. She is so easily convinced and so ready to go with whatever other plan others have that she will defer to them than to take initiative. People find difficulty in forming opinions of Mao purely because she is just so flakey. It is rare to see her actually voice out her own opinions in a group discussion, and when she does find a plan disagreeable, she bottles it up.

Mao is also notably quite impatient, despite her lackadaisical behaviour. When a tasking is given, she will prefer it if everyone got to it post-haste or not at all. She absolutely hates sitting around and talking things over. Procrastination is one thing, but extended arguments over what should be done and how it should be done irritates her to no end, which ultimately causes her to just get up and go do everything on her own. Her over-considerate way of dealing with things usually end up with her being considered quite the doormat, and people who know how to push her buttons can have her do whatever they want her to do.

On the rare chance she loses her temper, however, as all people who just bottle up their anger, she showcases a genuinely frightening side of her. She will take the most drastic measures just to ensure that her target is humiliated or entirely annihilated, under any circumstances at all. While one of the weakest Pro Heroes around, to challenge her is the work of a fool, and she will prove it.

Nao Mitsutada: Younger sister. 17 years old. Quirkless. Studying for her university entrance exams and helps out at the family textile store. Gets along well with her sister despite the age gap.

Jun’ichi Mitsutada: Father. Quirkless. Owns a textile store in a rural area of Japan. A rather average man who has achieved all he wants in life. Believes in not pampering his children, but also does not tamper with their lives, leaving them to do what they wish to do.

Iwako Mitsutada: Mother. Quirkless. Works alongside her husband. A rather average woman who goes where her husband goes. Quite pretty for her age. She doesn’t involve herself with her children’s wants, but is always open to give advice to them at crossroads.

Tohru Tenryunnosuke: A Pro Hero going by the name Ryukaze. His Quirk allowed him to move at bursts of high speeds, allowing him to essentially teleport small distances, and use said velocity to deliver incredible punches, in exchange for his sight when he was moving with his Quirk. Mao was attached to him as a sidekick during her time trying to get a license. She still keeps in contact with him and sometimes defers to him for advice in issues that her mother cannot solve. Her skill with knives in general comes from Tohru's tutelage.

Backstory:
Mao ‘Just Some Kid’, ‘Just Some Schoolgirl’, ‘Just Some Youth’, and finally ‘Just Some Lady’ Mitsutada didn’t live a particularly flashy life. If it can be summed up in a few words, Mao’s entire 25 years can be described as ‘pretty average: has its ups and downs, but nothing special’, especially when compared to many of her colleagues today.

Mao grew up in a Quirkless environment, out in Akita, Japan. By some strange fortune, Mao was the only one in her family who could manifest her Quirk. Even her sister, born 7 years after her, did not pick up the rare Quirk gene. But even then, as she compared her Quirk to others, she realised that she had drawn the short straw. While she hung out with the local group of yankee girls, skipped classes frequently, and occasionally smoked, she never exposed her Quirk once. As a matter of fact, to tell one of her old friends of the fact that she had a Quirk at all would surprise them. Even to this day, very few of them knew Mao was one of the ones gifted with a Quirk.

Mao left Akita for Tokyo at 18, intending to finish her studies and find a job, studying at a local university. She managed to scrape through, but her applications were rejected constantly by several companies. While she waited on the other applications that haven’t been rejected, she worked at various companies as part-time help.

She was pushed into the role of a Pro Hero during a hostage situation which occurred at a bank nearby her current workplace. Purely out of concern, she managed to extract a few of the hostages and acted as a distraction for the most part before actual heroes arrived on the scene. When found out that she had no license to use her Quirk, she was quickly arrested for vigilantism, though was just as quickly let go with a slap on the wrist when the prosecution brought nothing much against her other than blatant disregard of the rules. However, she had to claim a proper license as part of her punishment. She was subsequently attached to a Pro Hero by the name of Ryukaze as a sidekick. She acted first as his primary form of distraction, and the combination of both his and her Quirk made them a rather powerful combination. As they moved on, Ryukaze eventually let Mao take the reins on a couple of missions, earning her quite the bit of experience.

At 24, she received her license, and was back to unemployment. She was then infamously known as Just Some Hero/Lady, who often walked into situations. The public unofficially named her, and she earned just a tiny bit of following. She was oft overshadowed by many other Pro Heroes however, and some of her acts weren’t even credited. She didn’t bother much. This hero shtick was just another part-time work to her.

When the PSA was under construction, she helped as bare menial labour, and significantly greased things along with her multitudes of general knowledge in several areas, such as repairing broken machines, bringing in backup generators, acting as replacement security, or basically just filling in for anyone who was on leave. Her rather easy-going attitude would go on to earn her a place as a teacher in PSA, much to her own surprise. After several years of unemployment, she was only too happy to accept, and prepared for it by cramming every ounce of information she needed for teaching into her head.

Reason for becoming a teacher:
Embarrassingly, because it was a solid job she could hold on to...it’s not to say she isn’t interested in teaching the kids, though.

Notable Feats as a hero:
-Participated in multiple hostage situations, serving as a distraction while other heroes moved in.
-Credited for rescuing numerous hostages herself over the years.
-Credited for the takedown of about thirty villains.

Hero Style:
A Pro Hero who works well from the shadows, and acts in both hostage rescue situations as well as villain capture/takedown. Mao relies on others setting up distractions for her while she moves in on the objective. She also relies heavily on sneak attacks, as well as guerilla tactics, to get the job done when confronting villains or other Quirk-bearing threats.

Skills/talents:
Knifeplay: Quite well-versed in using the karambit and other knives. In a one-on-one combat with her, her knifework is something to be seen and experienced.

Judo: Or something like it. She mixes martial arts throws and grapples with militaristic arm and bar locks to restrain or severely limit the movement of a target. Along with her knifeplay, she makes for a rather formidable close-ranged combatant, even without a Quirk.

Odd Jobs: Has worked part-time in multiple service areas, from restaurants to help desks. She packs a couple of non-specialised skills, such as minor IT troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, social manipulation, and fixing stuff in general.

Appearance: From the get-go, Akira has an appearance that is much more younger in looks than his actual age of 39. Often getting people to mistake him for someone much younger, which he does not like. Some call him cute at times. Despite his plain appearance, Akira is actually quite muscular and buff underneath his clothing. Completely ripped, but most people do not know that. His hair is brown and have a long length, and looks messy. Akira's eyes are two different colors as a result of his quirk, with his right being blue and left being white. The white one is unnatural.

Height: 5 feet and 8 inches, so a bit shorter than most of the teachers(and some of the students).

Personality




Personality: Akira's personality is one that gives off a certain vibe of nothing but a carefree feeling, generally being a person who knows what he wants to do with their life and does exactly that. In his case, it's to be a superhero who inspires those who've got low self-esteems to just be themselves. Somewhat of a cliche goal, but it's the goal he has in mind for being a hero. To inspire all of those who don't believe in themselves, and to show that even a guy like him can be an influential person. That kind of thing.

A thing about Akira is that he possesses a determination and dedication unlike any other, and is willing to go very, very far to achieve a dream once he becomes obsessed, just very fond of or is actually serious about doing it. Dedication to the dream of wanting to become one of those heroes he once looked up to in back when he was still a child. A determination to become something that may just kill him one day.

His general behaviour around others is one that's quite friendly, and some might even consider it too friendly. As he disregards the concept of private space itself and often just barges right in without a warning at all, and is often just in your face. Most find it quite uncomfortable, but it's just the way he likes to show affection to others. Though despite this very friendly behaviour, Akira is never one to try and get too close to someone in a personal way. With the main reason being horrible experiences in the past, and fear of losing control but isn't really a flaw of his at all.

Some also describe him as being mischievous, as he's got the habit of sometimes pulling pranks and teasing them to no end. And it makes him appear a bit more immature than one might expect when dealing with a person of his age group. Being the one who's most likely the oldest out of the teachers, people normally expect something more serious from him. Akira's playfulness knows no bounds whatsoever.

It even manages to sink itself deep into his working hours, as he can still be playful and never serious in that kind of work. It may just be that his fooling around is the only thing he's ever serious at. It's to the point that some heroes that have worked with him question whether or not he's serious about this job. Some others just think it shows that he's cocky and overconfident, but he does get the job done even if the trait may kill him one day.

Though he may live a carefree life, he is very indecisive. Often requiring the opinion of others when it comes to even some easy questions like, "Where do ya wanna go today?" and other questions along the lines of that. Akira often takes a long time before answering, just thinking of the pros and cons of each choice if he can't get the opinion of someone else.

Family
Yusuke Fujimoto, Father - Both are on good terms, though he doesn't really like the fact that Akira is a pro hero and feels that he could've been something better and less dangerous. Yusuke is a famous fashion designer.

Hifumi Kawakami, Mother - Also on good terms, and worries about the life Akira leads as a pro hero. He often tells her it'll be alright, though she continuously worries. Like her husband, she is also a fashion designer.

Ryuji Fujimoto, Younger Brother - The two share a brotherly relationship, and are on very great terms with each other. They're close and being the big brother that he is, Akira wishes to protect his brother from all harm despite both being grown ups.

Player Character
Masaru Kurosawa, Rival( @Trombone ) - Another teacher at PSA and one who he's in a bad relationship with. With the reason being a mission in the past, in which they both argued on how they were to do the mission, and Akira creating a portal beneath Masaru's feet and transporting him some place far away. Which in turn, caused the mission to go very wrong and fail as Akira's over-confidence was their downfall. And so, their rivalry began.

Backstory: Born into his family of four as the eldest among the two children, Akira and Ryuji Fujimoto were two brothers who came to establish a very brotherly relationship. Their parents, Yusuke Fujimoto and Hifumi Kawakami were two fashion designers who met during work and eventually came to fall in love each other. The two boys lived in a rich household that loved each other very much, and as typical kids of their age surrounded by the buzz regarding heroes, it was only natural that they wanted to become them too.

Both kids were subject to two things, things that their parents wanted them to do so that at least they could become something in the future if they didn't find their calling.That being piano lessons given by private tutors, and singing lessons as an added bonus for Akira as he was the one that had a great voice out of the two. Being subject to these lessons at a young age, both boys came to learn how to play a piano at a young age. Akira learning also how to sing alongside that.

Though the two boys had always found their own thing to be passionate about instead, for Akira it was his art. Having an innate talent for art, capable of drawing pretty pictures and abstract art at a young age. It was his passion. Meanwhile, Ryuji had found his passion in acting instead. Being given the star role in plays, and overall just had found what his calling was. Though the two had different passions, they still managed to create a loving brotherly relationship with each other. At that point, both seemed to have found what they wanted to be in the future.

Later in life, Akira entered a college as an art major. Still so very passionate about creating and perfecting his art, Akira pursued the life of an artist. Whilst his brother Ryuji decided to go pursue his own dreams too. Akira expected himself to be fully dedicated to this, and never once had he thought he'd eventually be attending multiple parties with alcohol and the such. Through bad decisions and 'helpful' friends, Akira developed quite the crippling addiction to alcohol. But despite it, he still held through to the end of his college course.

At that point in his life, Akira thought he'd be having an easy life with an Art Degree. But no, he thought wrong. Trying to find a single job in that field was something he found hard, and it only served him to go deeper into his alcohol addiction. He kept telling himself he could find some job he'd be satisfied with involving art, he just kept telling himself that. The addiction was something he kept to himself and felt too personal to mention to his family, not even his brother so he kept on his carefree mask on. So he just kept on going on and going through different interviews.

Getting rejected and rejected time to time again only made him go further down the downward spiral. Drinks and the such were getting more abundant in his lavish apartment, he was just going down the stairs to hell at this point in his life. And it didn't took a while before family started noticing, the first being his brother. The one who he still had regular contact with, Akira started carrying with him flasks of alcohol with him around everyday. And took regular drinks even with people around, during the day, afternoon, just any time. Ryuji didn't think much about it at the time.

It wasn't until he got a case of alcohol poisoning when the two were out in a bar and passed out that the whole family started to piece that Akira got a crippling alcohol addiction he didn't tell anyone about. The poor boy got admitted to the hospital later that night because he didn't show any signs of getting better. This news would, of course, shock his family as he's always been known to be carefree and happy with his life to them. A guy that didn't let shit get to him, and always kept his head high.

And at that moment in time, Akira searched for help and support from his family to help with this addiction of his as well as work. But the most important thing currently was his health, and they helped him trying to get his addiction away or at least just help him reduce it any way they could. Then came with the problem of finding some job that he'd be happy with. The idea of becoming a pro hero was one he didn't get immediately, it only came up when he watched the news about another hero capturing some villain.

Having used to admire heroes back when he was small, it just entertained the idea of becoming a hero more. It sounded like an idea that he could actually do with his quirk, even if he was inexperienced. The boy would only get better if he continued to do this work, so why not? Why not? And from that moment, he decided for himself. He was going to be a pro hero, and nothing would stand in his way. So he brought it up with his family. And came a few protests, particularly his dad, but he really wanted this and made that very clear so they came to accept it.

So, with that said, Akira went through the process of trying to get his hero license so he can really be a pro hero. Working as the sidekick of a pro hero called Raiju, who's quirk allowed him to purely generate electricity from his body with little to no control over it. And through hard work, manages to get it at the age of 29. And from then on, he tackled the life of a pro hero with a flare that he showed only when he faced art, though still quite carefree and never serious as he did. Akira assisted with many different missions, particularly capture missions under a new name. Taking the mantle of Warping Hero, Deguchi. Which is Japanese for exit.

Throughout his time as a pro hero, Akira got himself fit and dedicated himself to a training regime to gain the ripped build he has now. Starting off as a small time hero who didn't know much about things, he learned quick. Developing his own way of fighting against villains and getting to know his quirk much better now that he was a pro hero. And he still had somewhat of an alcohol addiction, though it isn't as severe as it was before. He felt happy.

Though there was just this feeling of dissatisfaction that he felt after the years of doing this work, a feeling of wanting to be something more than this. Rescuing people and children would bring his a feeling of joy, but only ever seeing them when doing that kind of work just didn't feel enough. And so, came the transition from the field to the classroom. Using his smarts and the shit he learned to college as well as his quirk, he helped with the creation of the hero academy known as Peace Sign Academia. After it was completed, he just knew this was what he wanted to do right now. Teaching the next generation, and seeing 'em follow their dreams was what he definitely wanted to do now.

Reason for becoming a teacher: His reason is simple, and that is to build confidence in the future generation of heroes so they would have unmatched courage to face danger.

How He Helped The School: Assisted in transferring bricks and other hard to carry materials as well as materials in general easily.

Hero Name: The Warping Hero, Deguchi.

Hero Costume: The costume he wears is a simple one, consisting of a blue and grey hoodie and a plain white shirt underneath. He wears a pair of jeans, with specialized black boots with iron soles to boost power when kicking and iron knee pads to knee with more power. He also wears a pair of black reinforced gloves with knuckles to boost his punching power more.

Notable Feats as a hero:
-Has played many major roles when it came to missions requiring the capture of villains.
-Akira has single-handedly taken down multiple groups of villains before.

-Assisted in multiple raids and rescue missions before, often on the front lines warping from one place to another and creating helpful warp gates other heroes use.

Hero Style: Typically engaging in capturing work, using his ability to create warp gates as a means to cut off the enemy and to be very unpredictable with his attacks. With a quirk like his, he's very useful in these types of missions as he can easily assault them directly head on if in his visual range and incapacitate them so long as they don't have any defensive quirks. And if he were to get in a fight, his unpredictable way of fighting can throw an enemy off especially if they don't know his quirk. Occasionally goes on rescue missions as well.

Quirk: Warper's Eyes - An emitter type quirk possessed by Akira Fujimoto, which gives him the ability to, as the name implies, warp. Through the creation of warp gates, of two varying colors only each linked to the portal that has the same given color as the other one. These warp gates take the appearance of a fractured circle of either a completely blue or a completely white color, giving it a futuristic sort of look to it. In the middle of these fractured warp gate circles are displayed what happens to be in front of the portal. Such as a wall, if it was created in front of one or basically any given surrounding that just so happens to be in front of it. These portals can be of any given size Akira wants them to be, big or small, so long as he wills it it's whatever size you want.

This quirk gives Akira strange eyes however, that are quite in their appearance. Much like the portal itself, the eyes have either an all-blue or an all-white appearance. With fractured circles, beautifully broken into multiple pieces replacing the pupils and his irises becoming either all-blue or all-white and three points forming a sort of 'Y' shape. These eyes can either be both the same color, but it more useful if both colors are present. One for each eye. White usually dominating the left eye while blue dominates the right eye. Overall, these eyes of his are given a pretty and celestial look to them that are great to look at. And for whatever reason, it's also effected the color of his pupils when not activated. It gave him heterochromia, making his eyes blue and white.

Given how this quirk works, it's got weaknesses. With the most obvious of them all being the fact that he cannot create a portal at a certain place without having direct eye contact with it, so anytime he blinks is an opportunity to get him as well as just covering his eyes. Another is the limit of portals he can create. At the same time, he can create two pairs of portals. Linked together by their color, so a total of four portals can be created at the same time. There's no time limit as to how long he can keep them open, so long as he wants them open it is open so that is a plus. But loss of concentration can easily lead to his downfall, as he requires concentration to keep them open and the bigger the portal, the more focus it needs.

Though despite the many limited uses for offensive capability, there is one that makes these portals quite deadly. That being the severing of a link between two portals when a person is still passing through it. When portals are closed, their links are cut off, obviously. But if something were to get caught in between them whilst it's closing, that thing won't be spat out the same as it was. No, it will also be cut off like a hot knife through butter. Giving quite the clean cut. Same with living organisms, cut off once the link is cut off. So it's quite deadly if Akira is not concentrated, but has many uses nonetheless.

To combat that weakness of limited offensive capability, Akira developed his own way of combat through his quirk during his time as a pro hero. Nicknamed by him as 'Warped Combat', it is the simple of way of utilizing his portals to fight using his fists and legs whilst at a range. Only requiring him to have very fast eyes, as he needs to look before creating a portal. Fast and dangerous appearance and disappearances of portals, he punches and kicks through them to fight. It gives the thrill of fast paced combat, though brings risk as he could lose an arm or leg or maybe even kill himself if not careful.

Special Moves:

Surprise, Bitch - A very straightforward and normally effective move, consisting of his simply putting a warp gate in front or back of his target directly then going through it. Afterwards he either tackles or just grapples them then slams them on the ground.

Last Surprise - Direct frontal assault, normally starting with him creating a warp gate in front of his target than just tackling them to the ground before beating the absolute shit out of them. Hard. No hesitation or anything.

Warped Dive Kick - Akira creates two portals, one high above the opponent and one in front of him. Then he runs to create momentum before going through the portal, jumping as he does in a way of doing a flying kick. And he basically just moves through the portals, kicking his opponent when moving out of the second portal above the opponent.

One-Two Punch - Two punches in rapid succession, but instead through portals. The portals can generally be anywhere, and are used as a means to surprise attack.

pro-hero without special moves is an unheard of thing. I am on the fence about allowing it since image is a major part of being a hero, and special moves are part of that
given her preference to strike from the shadows (TM), won't her image be to remain out of sight as much as possible? After all, to be so strangely inadequate would fit the title of a Just Some Hero who looked like she just wandered onto the scene. Furthermore, she can't reliably spam her Quirk enough to actually perform anything flashy.

As a hero no image= no job. Even eraserhead has SOME fans that aknowledge him, otherwise he'd be fired. A special move can also be a finishing move of sorts, something as simple as appearing out of nowhere and jamming something on someone like a piece of pottery or whatever. JUst one is enough.
But then again, I said I was on the fence because your hero really is someone based on not getting aknowledged. So I guess I'll allow it to pass without it.

The suit has light weight armor. Sturdy for taking a few hits but still vulnerable in exchange for mobility. The belt satchel can hold medical supplies and spare ammunition. He also has a holster on his back, as well as a place on his hip. These can be used for a rifle, or pistol. Depending on a situation he may choose one or the other if allowed and needed. The armor has some areas with heavier protection, such as the elbows, chest, wrists, kneecaps and shoulders. As well as the collarbone. However some of these only cover the front, leaving his back exposed. He either needs someone watching his back, or he will craft a small shield to guard his back, and neck.

Personality: Jesse keeps to himself most of the time, finding it easier to avoid others. If he lets them close, then the shadow of what-ifs grows overhead. He is riddled with self-doubts and anxiety. When he's extremely upset he runs his hands through his hair. During a panic attack he may mumble to himself in english. He carries earbuds and his cellphone with him, as if his anxiety gets too bad he can use music as a way to ground himself. If he has a total breakdown he needs something or someone to ground him. He avoids crowds, afraid that something might happen, that anything might happen. He can be a loyal and faithful friend if you manage to crack past that shell of distance he keeps up. He is the guy to make jokes and try to keep everyone happy. Glad to take jokes at his expense if it helps everyone laugh. Even though he tries to avoid butting heads with people, he has quite a temper and holds grudges until he deems the wrong-doer to be forgiven. Though he doesn't go out of his way to say rude things to people, if he catches someone being rude, disrespectful, or just plain mean, he will say something. Enough arguing can make him spout whatever comes to mind that is hurtful enough to sting. Even with friends in an argument, he uses tactics like this to get them to back down, or to escalate the situation until one of them feel satisfied with the damages done and simply walk away with their heads high. Hours after the fact Jesse tends to replay the situations in his mind, and often feels shameful for the things he says. He always ends up being the first to apologize, and even if he's forgiven for it he continues to blame himself until it's pushed away to be dragged back up later. He tends to space out at times, and easily forgets facts unless he purposely drills it into his memory, or has repeated it enough times to become subconscious thought. Most of the time he apologizes for things that aren't exactly his fault, blaming himself for being a moment too slow or leading to an event's climax when he had little to do with it. He doesn't trust himself. Always overthinking or overcomplicating simple things, and giving that dark shadow called anxiety more weight until it's suffocating him. Sometimes he just needs a bit of moral support as well as combat support. Between second guessing himself, hesitation, and his continuous self wrought guilt, he is easily distracted. In a fight this is dangerous, since if he spaces out, forgets a detail in the plan, doesn't cover his back or watch for danger, he can easily be hurt. He tries his best but sometimes it's just not enough. If he wagers a guess or a suggestion and it's wrong or submissed, he'll apologize and fall quiet until he's asked to speak again. In most cases he is his own worst enemy. Beating himself up over things he couldn't manage to control, or letting himself get distracted in midst of something important. Most of the time his self-deprecating humor is subconscious belittlement of his own worth. These "jokes" at his expense are fairly often, and if asked about them, he simple confesses that it's just something that he says without conscious thought. That's another thing. He doesn't think too much before speaking. Actions, sure. Speaking however is not something he likes to contemplate. Because eventually it becomes overwhelming in the fact that he may offend them or mispronounce their name and that just leads to him forgetting the reason he had wanted to speak with them to begin with.

Mannerisms:Jesse keeps to himself, often having a forced sense of politeness. He tries to avoid being in large crowds or groups, as it spikes his anxiety. Occasionally he may slip away, and find a quiet place to occupy his thoughts with the world of a book or help someone so he doesn't return to the past.

Backstory: Jesse was born as the sole child of Jared and Yumi Anderson in Matsuda Japan. His parents had met through abroad studies and eventually Jared proposed to her, applying for Japanese citizenship shortly after their studies were over. Their family was the average happy kind, aside from a few...quirks. His quirk had come from seemingly nowhere, with neither parents having had one themselves. Not truly concerned about this oddness, they did their best to help him learn how to control it. No Jesse the spider in the closet isn't a reason to use your quirk, call me or your father. He was home schooled until he could control it sufficiently enough to not accidentally use it...most of the time. Other than that they had a nice dynamic. A father who came home to play catch and share his stories of America and his hometown with his son, and a mother who greeted him with a smile when he came home from school, or cheered him up with words of comfort and love. The small home was always filled with happiness and laughter. There were hard-times, as fate always saw to that, but the love between the family of three helped them see the best of life. His mother always encouraged him to be optimistic, and his father was one of opportunity. They even took a trip to his father's old homeland when he was 9, staying with his dorky grandpa and soft-spoken grandmother. There he learned how to shoot guns, much to his mother's worried titters about safety around weapons. His father and grandpa taught him how to hunt, and in tandem, to shoot. His mother and grandmother helped him better his basic English, saying you never knew when you'd need to know another language. When the time for visiting was over, the trio bid the elderly family members goodbye. But not before his mother and grandmother presented him with a gift. The two women had worked together and crafted a beautiful quilt, using a blend of red and yellow fabrics. His grandmother had said it was a 'reminder of his family connections'. They returned to Matsuda afterwards and Jesse went back to school. Ever since he'd been a kid he wanted to help people. When he heard about the PSA, he immediately began talking with his parents. His mother was on board with him using his quirk to help people, but his father was a bit hesitant. It took much coaxing but eventually his father reluctantly agreed, stating that the moment he saw him toeing the line of being reckless or foolish, he'd personally drag the boy back by his collar. And so he applied to the academy.




Relationships with family members:
Grandma Martha: Overseas family, keeps in some sense of contact occasionally. Made him the quilt he carries with him upon entry to PSA, more openly caring of her grandson than her husband.
Grandpa Thomas: Overseas family, keeps in some sense of contact occasionally. Taught him to properly shoot and hold a gun.
Soba[Misa Fukohara]: A kind motherly figure who dotes on her grandchild, always making sure he knows they love him.
Sojo [Aki Fukohara]: A supportive yet gruff father figure, who begrudgingly reminds Jesse every so often that he's a good kid. They play chess when he visits.


Quirk: (Name + description) (remember to be very specific about the details that would involve
Barrier Defense- A quirk which allows its user to create a barrier that can block physical forces like bullets or small blasts. It lasts 8 minutes maximum, and takes 16 to recharge to it's minimum functionality. Overusing it at minimum functionality can cause internal injuries. After 8 minutes of usage, the user is left exhausted. To use the quirk again without fear of overstressing it, he requires at least 2 hours to recover. In theory he could split the barrier and protect a spread out area but he hasn't tried. He can however make the shield bigger. It just takes more energy to hold up, and lessens the strength. The quirk can take at maximum 2 rounds of gunfire, or 10 pounds of force bashing on it for 1 minute straight. This can perhaps be improved with time, but it is all he can maintain from his little to no training.

Special Moves:
Bubble: A shield in the form of a sphere, used to protect an individual from moderately dangerous falls(Like a bone breaking fall that doesn't kill you but could hurt alot, maybe 3 stories at most...), or small blows. After using this it cuts the remaining time of the quirk in half.

Items:Clothes, a few books, and an old quilt.

Skills/talents: writing, piano, intermediate fighting techniques, effective at usage of rifle/pistol(Not mastery but decent enough to not shoot himself in the foot)
