Personality:
Back in the day, Arianna was a sweetheart. She loved talking to anyone and everyone, and made friends easily. She cheered and hung out with her friends, doing what normal young teens did. After everything started coming out and she learned the truth, she closed herself off. She threw herself into working, saving up money to go to New Orleans, where her father said her mother resided. Her friends were curious as to what happened, but she couldn't tell anyone. She's proud, stubborn, and impatient, but on the flip side, she's also brave, honest, and loyal.

Biography:
Arianna never knew her mother. Her father would tell her stories about her, about what a wonderful woman she was, and they always entranced Arianna. She loved listening to stories about the woman, and hoped one day that she could be exactly like her. As a child, she never saw the pain her his eyes when he mentioned her name, or the way he stiffened when Arianna would beg him, night after night, to tell her another story.

As it turns out, the woman was a witch. By the time her father found out, Arianna was already on the way. He didn't want that life for Arianna, and her parents had many fights about it. Eventually, Tessa-- her mother-- admitted that he was right, and she let Henry take her far, far away. It killed her inside to let her baby go, but she had to. For her safety. She never called.

As Arianna got older, she didn't ask about her mom as much. She got into gymnastics and cheering, and made a ton of friends that way. She was always a social butterfly, able and willing to talk to anyone. Going through puberty without her mom was rough, but plenty of her friends still had moms, so she had all the help she needed.

It wasn't until after high school where things took a nasty turn. On her 21st birthday, she and her high school sweetheart broke up when she found out he was cheating on her. Naturally, she was upset-- but she never meant to hurt him. They were arguing out in her driveway at night. She could feel the buildup happening inside, but she just thought it was anxiety and nerves. He went to walk away, and as soon as he hit the shadows, the creatures attacked.

Arianna ran to save him, and though she was expecting to get hurt, the shadow creatures just stared at her. He was injured badly, but they didn't attack her. Other strange things happened: lights going out, casting darkness everywhere; more appearances by the shadow creatures. When she thought she was going crazy, she broke down and told her dad. That was when he told her the truth.

Species: Witch

Additional/Significant Powers: Darkness Manipulation. Arianna can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows. She can also control and manipulate the beings that exist there, create and dispel shields, create weapons, and teleport via shadows.

Limitations: Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits. She is weak against light users. Can be triggered by extreme stress.
