With income at a all time low, the Bovington Tank Museum has partnered up with the European & Japanese Sensha-Dō Federation (EJSD) in order to boost interest and reach out to the world-wide community. Students from across the globe have arrived at the newly build Bovington International High School. Usually, Sensha-dō is a female only activity however, due to the military protential aspects of the 'martial art.' The federation has opened up for all genders to sign up and possibly win the chance at fighting alongside fellow minded men and women. The goal for these students? The 2018 National High-School Sensha-Dō Tournament and guaranteed acceptance into any university of their choice. Which fighting vehicle will your characters crew? Will you lead the school to victory or will the Tank Museum be forced to close indefinitely?

Students arriving would be greated by a larger than life school. With Sensha-dō at it's heart; several maintenance, storage and ammunition depots litter the school grounds. Along the outer walls are several smaller dormitory buildings, providing adequate accommodation and other services. Uniforms are not mandatory however one would often see students wearing fireproof overalls and berets similar to ones worn by British Military Crewmen. Though the School's coat of arms adorns the headwear as a a badge. Considering the sudden popularity of Sensha-dō in Europe; many men and women from the ages of 15 to 18 have travelled far across the globe as Japan has a more internal education program.

Rules:

  • Be polite please & maturity is a must!
  • Try to post at least once every other day. If you're inactive for more than a week without letting anyone know you may be asked to leave
  • Try to be inclusive. If you notice someone is rping alone try to bring them into the conversation
  • No one liners. Short paragraphs are preferred, but longer is absolutely okay. Each vehicle must be fulled crew with characters, if you don't wish to make 3/4/5/6 different characters then I would suggest partnering up with another player to share the amount of writing.
  • Don't make a plan that revolves around you then disappear for a whole day or two, just make sure there's ways to progress in case something happens
  • Try not to make you crew overpowered or do 'too' much. Writing up several paragraphs on how your tank took out the entire enemy team will most likely be deleted to give others a fair chance. Be realistic and play fair
  • Please select a vehicle -only- from the list in the Lore section; that is unless there is one that I have missed that is in the Bovington Tank Museum collection.
  • Make sure you read the offical Sensha-dō rules which can be found in the Lore section.
  • Other than that, have fun and do contact me Becker Becker if you have any private issues or need help.

Sticking his head out of the commander's hatch, Markus breathed in a hefty lungful of cold air. It felt like it was a thousand degrees in the tank, which was a blessing of sorts as the outside temperature was just above freezing. Glancing around the pitch-black battlefield; he squinted his eyes as he tried to make out any shapes from their hull down position. No such luck. Meanwhile, Issac was resting his feet against the pedals; texting his sister about how each other was doing. It had been over a month since he had last seen her, far too long in his book but it's not like he could make a holiday request now; not with the Tournament coming up in only three months. Wiping his nose with the back of his hand; Issac looks up at the feet of the loader, Martin. The two exchange looks for a few moments before Issac finally speaks up. "We moving anytime soon? Engine will take a moment to restart."

Martin glances over the gun breech to his right at Markus' lower waist. Pondering on what was going on himself, he reaches and pushes the hatch above himself; the icy cold air rushes in and catches him by surprise. Shivering slightly, Markus pulls himself up and gets himself into a comfortable position with his head exposed to the elements. Caught slightly off-guard by his crewman's sudden apperance; Markus double checks to his left before giving Martin a short smile. "Not a whole lot to see up here, friend. How's the crew doing?"

Martin paused for a moment, pondering the question before sighing along with his reply.

"They're fine, although we're wondering what the plan is?.. we've been sat here for almost thirty minutes and you haven't said a word.."

Markus blinked, he hadn't thought about the crew for a while now. He had been so transfixed on monitoring the Bovington squad's status in the darkness.

"You're right, I haven't... i'm sorry; setting up these wooden targets for the squad has been at the forefront of my mind since last week.. Night combat is as difficult as it gets so I have to make sure everyone has some experience in it.." Nodding to his own words, Markus decided that he had enough time wasted staring into nothing and shuffled his way down into the turret. As he did so, his knees bashed into the back of Anna who shunted forwards and caught her head on the gunsight in front of her.

"Ah, fuck.. watch what you're doing; nearly lost a eye!" Anna gave Markus a snap as she whipped her head around and glared at him for a few moments. Markus instinctively threw his hands up and apologized repeatedly; he didn't want to end up on her bad side. With the weather being so cold and horrible, it was a blessing that the crew weren't at each other's necks already; must've been the fact that Markus had promised the squad free hot chocolate for everyone signing up for Night combat training. Quite the sweetened deal indeed.

"I'll forgive you this time... better add double marshmallows to 'my' reward for joining up on this... stupid exercise.." Anna looked away and back into her direction vision sight; it gave her a clear picture of anything obstructing the gun barrel and was generally used in such a way. Sneak up a hillside until the barrel and turret were only just poking above; fire and then drive back before the enemy can react. Standard tactics for the Firefly as it's tall turret really helped getting good firing postions in the cornish hilly countryside. Anna ran her hand across the top of her head where she had struck it and rubbed it for a few moment as the pain subsided. She slowly traversed the turret from side to side; the powered traverse made a humming noise that calmed Anna a little bit as it was a very familiar sound to her.

"No targets spotted, no friendlies either... are you sure they're not lost?" Anna called out, tilting her head to the right to get a peek of Markus who had his face in his hands; deep in thought. She continued to watch him as he didn't reply. "Hey!" Anna reached back and gave him a short elbow jab to get his attention; it worked. Markus jumped a little and looked around the tank in several directions.

"Yeah, yeah.. I'll double check now." Markus stood up and reached into the back of the turret for the radio. Martin came back down from the hatches to help and started to adjust the dials on the radio to the squad frequency. The two shared a look, smiling at each other.

"Been a long day hasn't it?" Martin joked, long was a understatement. Whilst Markus was the Squad leader and generally in charge of the entire school's tank squad. It was Martin that acted as the figure-head, a strong leader with the brains to match. He recalled the assembly earlier that morning; how he stood up in front of the crowd and gave a speech about the night training. Smurking a little, he remember how the entire crowd sighed as the word 'night' was mentioned. No-one liked it, you couldn't see what was five feet in front of you and the risk of being shot at by your fellow squad tanks was at a all time high.

Placing the headphones to his ears, Markus gave a callout on the squad radio; hopefully other tank commanders would hear it.

"All Lancers be advised, this is Lancer Actual. Zero contact made with enemy, report postioning and standby for further orders; how copy? Over"

By the lack of gunfire during the entire exercise; it seemed that the remote-control wooden target tanks hadn't spotted anything either. Although it could be the elements playing up with their sensors.

The alarm clock awoke Jeremy with a start. He rolled to his left and subconsciously fell off the raised mattress he was sleeping on. When he fell he landed on Riley who looked up at him with the usual, "Please remember that we are not at home and get awake before you move off the bed." Kind of look. Duke took a look at the two, shook his head and got into his position. Suddenly they were all interrupted by Sean in the drivers seat reading the rules of the owners manual. He chuckled and said to no one in particular, "There. There is a rule in this book that says if there is an electrical fire in the tank that you need to piss on it!" He burst out laughing. Jeremy hunched over, walked up behind Riley and gave him a light and slightly serious slap of the side of his head. "ALRIGHT!! COGMAN GET ON THE SIGHTS!! MAGNUS KEEP THE BIRD SHOT READY! PUT IT IN FIRST GEAR AND LET'S MOVE OUT!!"

Mashing the ignition down, Sprocket ignited the 450 horse power engine and shoved the throttle as far as it would go. The grizzly Sherman moved from it's camouflage and began hauling arse onto and down a dirt road, kicking up dust as it sped down the roads at 25 miles per hour.

Markus could hear something in the background and removed his headset whilst re-shuffling out of the commander's hatch. 'Sounds mechanical; not one of our remote controlled targets.. they have electrical motors.' As he thought about the sound, he twisted his head from side to side; trying to figure out the direction of travel. Martin could also hear the sounds and stuck his head just out of the loaders hatch.

"Mark, shall I have Issac spool up the engine?" Martin was the second in command of the tank; whilst usually the position would go to the gunner. Although Anna wasn't exactly the best at making good decisions when under pressure. Last time she did take command as part of a test, Anna spent a good thirty minutes arguing with Issac over a wrong turning; since then, she has been content with merely manning the seventeen pounder gun of the Firefly. The Firefly was a unusual tank, whilst it could take the fight to the enemy; it was much better suited for longer ranged combat as the very long gun breech made it difficult to load in combat situations. Typically Shermans were used to assist infantry as their low velocity gun were better suited for sending high explosive shells into enemy fortifications. The Firefly's gun made it less useful for such a task and so was often assigned to cover any regular Sherman's advance; to protect them from any enemy armoured threats.

"Do it" Markus nodded to Martin and reached down to tap Anna on the shoulder who turned her head slightly in reply. The two shared a moment as it had been a while since they had last worked together. Markus was always busy with running the tank squad and Anna had been visiting her family in Leon. Still, sometimes friends need a break from one another as things had been getting heated.

"Train the gun left, bearing one-five-five and keep a eye on that dirt road to our flank. It's probably friendly but make sure you have positive I.D before anything happens alright?" Markus gave the order and Anna merely nodded in reply. Reaching for the traverse with her right hand and twisting it towards the left; the turret started to turn towards the dirt road behind them. Martin dropped back down into the turret as it began to turn and quickly reached below the breech. Opening a oblong storage container; he grabs one of the League-sanctioned shells and begins to lift it out and prepares himself behind the gun, waiting for the turret to stop moving before attempting to load it.

Anna released her grip as the turret slowed to a jutting halt. With the barrel aiming right down the dirt road; Markus felt a little more safe and returned to the hatch in order to get a higher view down the path. Reaching for a pair of binoculars that he left on the turret roof; he began to peer into the distance for any sign of movement. Meanwhile the sound had been gradually getting louder and louder but this was muffled slightly as Issac had been restarting the Firefly's engine. A puff of black smoke emitted from the rear engine block as it coughed into life. Gazing ever deeper into the darkness, the familiar shape of a sherman begun to come into view. Markus studied it for a moment, double checking that it was actually friendly before diving back into the turret. WIth one hand he rubbed Anna's head as a gesture of 'Don't shoot' and with his other; Markus reached for the radio once more and attempted to contact the other Sherman.

"Lancer one this is Lancer Actual, be advised; we are two hundred meters to your direct front. Can you confirm? Over"

La-Gleize-Stoumont-king-tiger-tank-II-front.jpg

Erica stood up in the hatch of her fearsome tiger II they were lost to say the least, with binoculars in hand she scanned her route. With the use of an internal mic she spoke to her driver Reinhilde " Hrmpf kill the engine we'll have to wait for Turla to figure out a route...". The engines would fall silent, though Erica knew stopping out in the open would get them nailed in a real match. It was ok for now she figured they sat atop a ridge, with the goal of gaining insight and vision a useless venture in the night.

Herma would pop out of a hatch next to Erica with an annoyed expression,"What are we doing out here at night ?! This is stupid I hate it so much", her complaints being launched at her sibling. Who only ignored her and kept scanning the darkness for a sign for either friend or foe. Herma expects as much from her sister, but she had come out here to escape from Arabella sobbing. She also began to scan for targets with her own set of binoculars.

Arabella tear-stained face was hidden in the darkness,"Uwahhhh I wanna go to bed ! why do we have to be out hereeee uggahhh We're Loosssstttt what if we're ambush?! uwahhh" . Reinhilde and Turla simply open their own hatch, with Reinhilde taking in the chilly air while Turla was reading up on the map.

That's when Erica heard the squad leader voice, "All Lancers be advised, this is Lancer Actual. Zero contact made with the enemy, report positioning and standby for further orders; how copy? Over"

Erica reacted,"Turla contact the Lancer Actual and give him our coordinates so we may regroup with them before we are found out by the enemy”. Turla gave a nod and vanished back into the hull of the tank using the external radio,”This is Konig Lancer we are currently overlooking the battlefield from ridge Bravo - four. We are in simple lost what is your current grid square <a.k.a location> Over”. And with that, the Rommel siblings would sit tight though Herma would vanish back inside an began to comfort Arabella.

Jeremy picked up the radio and asked, "This is Fire squad Grizzly. Over?" Jeremy looked at Sprocket and said, "Halt. Deploy orange smoke canisters." (Orange smoke signifies a friendly btw.) Magnus simply gave Jeremy 'the look'. Jeremy ignored him and continued. "You are Firefly correct? We are the M4 Grizzly. Don't fire upon us. I repeat. Do not fire upon us."

Cogman looks out the gunner's sight and says, "There they are. As they said. 200 meters directly in front of us." Sprocket switched the engine off to conserve fuel. "Welp. We i guess we are at a crossroads." He joked. Everyone including Jeremy turned to look at him and simultaneously said, "Shut up."

Trying his best not to facepalm at the American's lack of radio etiquette; Markus decides firstly to reply to Erica's vehicle and get the group together for better security of the area. Having the Tiger II was a blessing in terms of it's firepower and protection but also a curse as just about anything could spot it within a ten mile radius. Luckily with it being so dark, the enemy would only have it's engine to go on so in a sense; it was equal terms. Markus reached into his pocket and retrieved a map, glancing over it as he spoke; he marked out the positions of each tank using different coloured markers.

Dorset 1.1.png
(Firefly Blue - Grizzly Orange - Tiger II Purple)

"Konig this is Lancer Actual; solid copy on your last - break- New orders are to head towards the crossroads to your south and hold there; Keep eyes to the west and friendlies will be arriving towards your east. how copy? over."

Finally with some coordination in place, Markus switches his attention to Jeremy's Grizzly, also nodding towards Martin to take charge whilst he does so.

"Grizzly this is Lancer, be advised; You are to follow Lancer Actual towards the crossroads to our North-west -break- if you can have your gun pointing to the left then we should be good as we convoy over to Konig, how copy? over."

Martin meanwhile had been getting the Firefly crew busy with ordering Issac to pull out onto the crossroads and prepare to regroup further down with the Tiger II; Anna had started to raise the gun barrel and turn the turret to face forwards; allowing Issac to drive up the steep embankment without the risk of shoving the gun-tube into the dirt and wedging them stuck. The sudden movement made Markus slip and fall from the hatch; landing on Anna yet again and the two hit several parts of their bodies on the metal work inside the turret. With profanity being shouted by Anna and Markus rubbing his head after not only slamming it against a stored shell but also a fist-sized bruise on his left cheek; courtesy of Anna.

As the Firefly's gun began to raise high in the air, Issac released the handbrake and used the tillers to line up with a even-ish side of the embackment. Gunning the engine, the tank shunted forwards; climbing up and coming to sudden stop at the top as the crew were thrown around a little. With Markus recovering within the turret, Martin climbed through the loader's hatch and looked around to see if the Grizzly tank was following. Giving a short wave, he gestured to the left road leaving the crossroads and the Firefly headed off into the darkness at a steady pace.

After giving Markus a wonderful gift, Anna refocused on her job of gunning and got into a comfortable postion with her left eye resting against the bore-sight. Rotating the turret from side to side a little, Anna was keeping a eye out for a friendly Tiger II but had her foot ready on the trigger for anything else that comes into view. Shaking his head as he finally came back to earth; Markus glanced over at Martin's legs stucking below the hatch and presumed he had it covered. Picking the best of moments to start a conversation, he leaned forwards and got rather close to Anna whilst looking through the gunner's periscope sight that was mounted above her head.

"Remind me to have a word with those Americans about how to answer on the radio; they sound like babbling fools." Markus grinned as Anna looked up and blushed at how close they were to each other.

"S-..Sure.. I guess.." Anna swung her head back and tried her best to ignore Markus' presence but occasinally glanced back from her sights to observe him. "You know, it's not like you sat down with them and taught them about that stuff..."

Markus looked down and pondered, she was right. He had been so busy with setting up plans for further combat trainings that he hadn't bothered to go through the little things that mattered.

"You're right, that plume of orange smoke at the crossroads is quite the burning example of my... cock-up.." He grinned to himself, he understood the American's idea of doing so but none the less he wouldn't have done the same if he were in their position. Shaking his head a little as he turned the periscope from side to side in search for any targets he looked down at the map once more. From double checking the map and taking a guess at how much time had passed. He was sure that they were getting close to the second road junction and be meeting up with Erica's team soon.

With order received from the lead tank Turla would nudge Reinhild, "Get us to the cross road known as ,"Trooth Heath". With a brief sharing of the map Reinhild noded . Closings both their hatch the Tiger sprung to life, with a few gentle gas pedal nudges. To allow it to crawl off the side of the road, jerking a bit when it turned left.

Herma would rotate the turret to align it with the hull, though to anyone seeing the tank it had been camouflaged with a camo-net around the barrel and branches an other foillage around the hull.
Than like that the went creeping along

Erica kept a weather eye on the heavy tanks' flank being keenly aware of the soft flanks .Arabella had since stop crying being cheered up by her sibling, and focusing on her task of loading the main armament.

Meanwhile Turla responded "This is Konig we read you loud an clear we are on the move to the cross roads over ."

-
If by chance they beat the Shermans to the cross road on Erica order the would once again creep into the woods again. With the main canon poised an hull front facing west, with the tank sitting in the west side of the woods. With the intentions of staying hidden and avoiding any enemy's patrols.

"Copy that." Jeremy said. He hung up the radio and looked at Sprocket. "Driver. full power. Punch it." The Grizzly lurched forwards and then began following the Leazon tank (another name for a Sherman firefly). The suspension was out of whack from being covered in mud and leaves for an entire day. The cabin shook as the tank rapidly gained speed. Jeremy got back on the radio and said, "We are following your cats' eyes." (Cats eyes are the reflectors on the back of a tank that let the following tanks see the tank ahead of them in a convoy while it is night.)

Cogman was heating up a Bunsen burner that they had bolted down to a raised portion on the inside of the tank. He was cooking up supper. Spam with bread and beans. Jeremy turned to ask, "How long till' supper is up Cogman?" Cogman turned to look at Jeremy and said, "About 30 minutes."

Martin who was still sticking his head from the turret's left side through the loader's hatch; peering into the darkness of the road as they advanced at a decent yet cautious pace. He reached up and removed his glasses, giving them a good rub against his overalls before replacing them. Blinking a few times, he noticed something in the far distance but wasn't quite sure what it was. A moment passed, suddenly a small flash in the distance startled him and what came after; terrified him. Markus saw the flash as well, shouting at the top of his voice; the command was clearly heard over the deafening engine.

"Contact front! Driver shift right!"

Without hesitating, Issac threw all his weight onto the right steering tiller. This caused the brakes on the right track to shut closed but allowed the left one to continue at speed; pivoting the tank towards the right, Martin braced himself as the drop off the road looked rather steep. Meanwhile Anna began turning the turret in accordance with the tank's sudden sharp right turn and spotted the bright green tracer fly mere inches from where they had been moments ago. With no sighting of the enemy; she gritted her teeth as even she wouldn't want to risk shooting a friendly tank that had mistaken them for enemy. As the Firefly came off the road and onto lower grounds within the trees, Martin released his grip and climbed back into the turret; tapping Markus as he did so who in turn leaned back and climbed up to poke his head out of the commander's hatch. Looking around with limited viewage of the area; he resorted to his radio and updated his map to coordinate with the other tanks.

"Konig be advised, Lancer just got engaged to our front, roughly half a mile from your south west - break - Lancer requests that you push along the woodland to your front and get a flanking opportunity from the North. Grizzly, you are to do the same; push South off road and get into a good firing position - Break - All elements are to hold fire unless you have confirmed sighting of enemy targets, how copy? over."

Martin flipped off the loader's safety, allowing the gun to be fired; things were getting serious. unsure of it was enemy or not, he called out to Anna who was scanning what little she could as quickly as she could.

"Anna, did you see the colour of the tracer?.. what was it!?"

Anna pulled her head from the gun sight and glanced across the gun breech at Martin; she noticed that he looked rather scared, the whites of his eyes were almost glowing with terror. Though his voice was very much the same and he seemed fine. She tilted her head as she looked at him, Martin was a enigma to Anna. Scared, not scared? which was it? Shaking her head and deciding that replying would be the best course of action, she looked back through her gunsight and replied shortly.

"It was... green, I think.."

Over-hearing this, Markus barked a order through the radio.

"All elements be advised, tracer was green; I repeat, enemy contact confirmed. Keep a eye out for some plywood Panzer fours; they'll be tricky to see in the dark and amongst the treeline so be careful!"

Rubbing his eyes, Markus slid his head down and gave quick smile at how well his crew were getting along for once. If the same situation had happened a few months ago then it would've been like a scene from a family sitcom drama. Martin; the father at a moments notice from fighting Anna; the moody teenager with Issac; the good boy, trying to be quiet in the corner and finally Markus; the mother, trying to keep the family from murdering each other. The mother and father part made him shudder for a moment as he glanced in Martin's direction and shook the thought from his mind as quickly as it entered. Deciding to do something, Markus gave a quick order to the crew.

"Load flare, Gunner traverse to two-six-zero and max elevation for firing"

Begrudgingly, Martin threw the loader's safety back on before reaching towards the gun breech and begun to remove the awkwardly large armour piercing shell that was already loaded. Struggling within the tight quarters; he struggled with the shell in hand before finally placing it back into the storage slot below the breech. twisting his body, Martin reached over behind Anna and grasped at a Illumination shell that he hadn't thought would be used and so placed it in a less convient place to allow for most of the armour piercing to be close by. Shuffling his weight, he slid the shell across the various storage slots and finally took it up in both hands. Using his failing strength, Martin grunted loudly as he threw himself onto his feet with shell in hand. Edging across the back of the turret and finally resting the shell against breech block, Martin leaned forward and shoved the Illumination shell into the breech before removing the safety and shouting a command back.

"Up!"

Upon hearing the command that the gun was loaded, Anna reached for the manual elevation controls and began cranking like a woman possessed; slowly the 17 pounder gun arched back into the sky like a artillery piece. When it reached as far up as it could go, the turret juttered and Anna's hand suddenly stopped. She turned her head towards Markus and replied correspondingly.

"Gun ready!"

Markus steadied himself in the hatch before tapping Anna with his foot as he was far too occupied with looking around to turn in to give the order to fire. As his foot gently reached her back, Anna let out the firing command for everyone to shut their eyes as the 17 pounder's back-blast could easily blind the crew in such dark conditions.

"On the way!"

Stamping her foot on the trigger, the whole tank jutted backwards as the deafening gun launched the shell into the night's sky. Within the turret, for a second it was daylight as the breech flew open and ejected the empty casing into a collection bin below. Opening his eyes for a moment, Markus watched the sky. Staring out, waiting, waiting... His plan was coming together as a piercing white light appeared, causing the area to their west to be Illuminated brightly. Hopefully it would help the other tanks locate their targets, Sinking back into the turret; Markus let out a deep breath and returned to his map to update it with the situation.

"Magnus! Load the birdshot! Cogman! Traverse left 45 degrees!! Depression!! 2 degrees! Fire!!" The 75mm goes off and the recoil rocks the tank slightly as the shell exits the barrel and flies towards the location of the tracer. A few seconds later the shell impacts the terrain where the tracer last came from. A clean miss. "Reload!!" the empty shell casing is ejected from the breach and falls to the steel floor with a metallic *THUMP*. Jeremy shouts at cogman, "Gunner!! Elevate 4 degrees! Fire!!" The 75mm fires once more and this time an explosion is seen. "Tango down. Copy?"

The shell is ejected from the breach and falls to the floor with another metallic *THUMP*.

With the sound of a firefight taking place Erica lost no time in calling for Reinhlide , " <Get moving Reinhilde across the road and into gap we'll get behind them > (< > these mean they went to Austrian or German) The Heavy tank roar to life again, with a sudden jerk as it "raced" forward, though it wasn't at an impressive speed roughly crawling along at 15 due to the forest terrain.Reinhilde was being wary in the dark with poor vision from her port she wasn’t about to risk smashing into a tree or worst flipping from uneven ground.

Herma yell at her sibling at the wheel, <Hurry Hurry Hurry! If we take to long they’ll have kill everything !”, Herma was at work having the turret turning left, only then something strange happens there was a bright light flying in the sky.

Erica shouted <Careful Muzzle flashes south of us > With flare in the sky, Erica would pop out the hatch briefly attempting to I.D the target. She was well aware if she fires without IdAra. She could knock out one of her allies with the Konig 8.8 kwk43 L/71 . While she did this Herma kept scanning out from the wood line that hid them trying to spot her targets.

Turla would be working the radio,”This Konig reports our location we are currently searching for the enemy. Who was shooting? over ".
By the time Konig got into place, there was a chance the firefight had ended.

Herma would let out a delighted nudging to Arabella ,was coaxed by her sister nudging "Wah is it Herma...?", Three Panzer IV just southwest of us about 3-0-0 meters . Erica took the hint and went to comfirmed the target, than gave a nod it was indeed their targets.< Fire when ready> was all Erica said.

With the the hydrophilic power adjust it self to line up the shot, with the barrel rising slowly. Than a with an explodsion of both light and sound the 8.8 would launch its deadly payload at their target. Arabella was scrabbling to load the next round, though it would be around 15 seconds before another round be ready. A sound Ding rung inside the fighting compartment.

"This is Konig we have begun our engagements on three enemy Panzer Vors . Over- Turla was busy focusing on the radio than the chattering of her siblings.

Markus looked over at the Grizzly tank as it fired on the target vehicle, feeling a sense of complete frustration; he jumped up from the commander's hatch and slide off the back of the turret. As he jogged over, Martin noticed the TC had left and climbed up through the loader's hatch. Peering around, he saw Markus and yelled after him.

"Hey, what the fuck are you doing!? There could be targets in the area still!"

Markus nearly slid on the icy mud as Martin's voice made him jump. Turning round and gesturing towards the Grizzly that has sat in the middle of the road, he shouted back.

"I'm going to have words with the Americans, get on the radio and meet up with Konig to the north-west!"

Not waiting for a responce, Markus turned back and rushed up the steep embankment before approaching the Grizzly from the side. Wedging his foot into a gap between the tracks and hull; Markus pulled himself onto the top of the hull and shuffled round to get towards the Commander's hatch. Taking off his headset and using the right earphone, he knocked hard against the hatch and waited patiently for Jeremy to reveal himself.

Meanwhile, Martin shook his head at Markus' actions and climbed back down into the turret, cursing as he did so.

"Fuck it, he can walk back.."

Anna glanced over at him, wondering what he was on about and juttered her head back as he noticed that Markus was indeed gone from the vehicle.

"Where's he gone this time?" She gave Martin a short stare whilst she used the manual elevation to bring the gun back to a more level bearing.

"He's gone to shout at the Americans, they're parked on the road still and he ain't happy about it." Martin rubbed his face, the grease and sweat from his hands left quite the print on his forehead but with all the hair in the way; it would take a while for anyone to notice. With the Commander off on his own adventure, Martin was left in charge; not that he minded. Leaning down and towards Issac who was oblivious to the whole situation as he had been texting his sister; again.

"Hey, Issac.. get moving to the right and head through the woodline across the road; we're regrouping with the Tiger two!"

Martin's gruff voice had the desired effect of getting Issac's attention who in turn merely nodded to himself and put his phone down. Reaching for the tillers, he released the handbrake and applied plenty of power as the Firefly lurched up the enbankment; Anna had the fun job now of re-elevating the long gun as it risked being shoved into the hillside like a spear. Gritting her teeth as her arm started to ache with pain, she switched hands for a moment to give her left arm a rest for a bit. As the tank reached the roadside, Issac gunned the engines to quickly cross the open road and dove straight down into the woods on the other side.

Markus waited until the American's commander opened his hatch and greeted Jeremy with three fingers raised whilst placing his free hand on his hip.

"Three things.."

He waited for a moment before continuing as he was rather annoyed but wanted to remain calm and collected as the squad's commander. He believed in the idea that 'shouting like a moron' doesn't motivate or get things done quicker and occasionally paused in his conversation to remind himself of that.

"Firstly, you lot are sat on this road like sitting ducks; if that Panzer had a team-mate in the area then you would've been taken out long before you managed to take him out. Maneuver into cover first before you return fire. They had the drop on us and you sitting here like a prime target is a very juicy prize." He gestured to the tank as they hadn't moved since they fired.

"Secondly, I gave you a order to push off the road and into the forrests to the south; you are needed to cover Konig's left flank and you ain't going to be able to shit here.. so in a moment, I want this tank moved into the woodline and scouting west. Both the Firefly and Tiger's guns are too long to be diving in trees without getting stuck so it's better if we have you lot pushing out and doing some recon."

"Thirdly, Whilst you are on this recon patrol; do not fire unless fired upon and only do so after finding appropiate hard cover. You will be alone as you do this so there will little chance of any help if you decide to take on an entire team by yourself.. I know you Americans are all new to this so here's some very good advice." He leaned down and tapped Jeremy's head "Use your head and think of your tank, you ain't useful to me if you get taken out.."

Satisfied he had gotten his points across, Markus turned to slide down the hull but a whiff caught his nose and he returned once more.

"Finally, After the tournament; this tank along with the others, will be returned to the Museum.. and I want it in 'perfect'.. condition.. clean, tidy and polished to perfection.." He narrowed his eyes as his liking for the Americans had all but disappeared. Deciding he had given them enough of a bollocking, Markus slide down the engine deck and onto the hard floor below. Looking back at where his Firefly once was; he rubbed his hands in the cold and setted off after then into the darkness.

Martin had been commanding the Firefly as it slowly creeped through the woodland, it's long barrel making the journey that much more difficult as it could easily get caught on the close-knit trees. He reached over and muttered a report over the radio, he was just as fed-up with the situation as Markus but he just wanted the exercise to be over.

"Konig this is Lancer, we are approaching from your east to assist - break - to confirm, you have three targets at your position? over."

Anna had been wrestling with the traverse as the Firefly was moving along through the woodline; fair to say she was exhausted and panting heavily. Martin noticed and reached over to pat her on the back.

"You're doing well, we should be done within the next hour or so... it's almost one in the morning so.." He shrugged as he released the radio dial from his hand and reached down under the gun breech to load a armour piercing shell. As he did so, Anna straightened the gun to give him more easy access to the storage bins below and after a squeeze and a pull; Martin returned to chest height with shell in hand. Placing it against the gun breech and pushing hard; the casing disappeared into the gun and Martin stepped back to remove the loader's safety.

"Up!"

Creeping along through the darkness, Anna scanned the area; looking for any sign of the battle ahead of them. She could certainly hear it and the occasional tracer shell flying into the night's sky as it bounced off of the landscape certainly helped her narrow the search. Getting closer and closer; Anna couldn't make out who was who in such condition and didn't want to hit Erica's tank by mistake.

Jeremy was furious and he said to the brit, "I am the captain of my own soul. You royal arsehole! You command your own bucket of bolts. And ill command mine! Got it?" Jeremy then closed the hatch and said, "Sprocket, Advance. Slowly." The grizzly lurched forwards and slowly began to drive forwards.

"What was that about?" Cogman asked. Jeremy looked at him with a death glare and he immediately shut his mouth.

There was a bright fire fight with the two engaging the Konig from the front. Rounds bouncing off the front, with the crack of the 8.8 illuminated the Konig .

This round finding the enemy clear through the hull ,with the enemy tank becoming inactive. Than it happen a round smack in the turret cheek, with a loud crack. This round had come from the north west a Pz.IV had out flanked the heavy tank while the crew was focus on the two PzIV from the front.

Arabella fainted from the shock, with her slumping over mid-reach for her next round leaving one chamber in the main cannon. Before she blacked out from the sudden shock and fright of the sound.

Erica in the cupola had saw an felt the shot, with rounds still glancing off the front. Erica had to make a call now or risk the outflanking panzer knocking them out , " <Reinhilde pull back! Herma rotates the turret 45 degrees North-West an...". The turret was rotating when the cupola was struck sending Erica reeling back, with the shot causing her to become dazed.

Erica slumped dazed in her chair while Herma let out a snarl and fired the next round at the flanking panzer but it struck right in front of the enemy tank, "Arabella reload hurry up hurry up hurry !". She didn’t seem to have noticed her sibling had passed out.

Then another round found the other cheek and causing a hydraulic fluid went spraying wildly. With lost of the fluid they were forced to use hand cranks to move the turret . Herma, however, became of her sister being out cold and was forced to load a round her self. Once there was a jerking, with a round coming from the northwest enemy again. The Konig slowed to a creeping crawl, it was apparent this round hit the hull around the engine.

Reinhilde halt the engines, with the risk of a fire, increased “We are leaking…”,her tired voice reported over the mic ,”Repair must be made”. The sting of petrol and oil had begun to leak in the lower hull with her and Turla. Rein began to wiggle out of her chair going toward the engine to search for this leak fuel.

Turla faithfully reporting the mishaps," We have fallen into an ambush we have lost two crew and the means to escape. We suspect engine damage we are in need of assistance Lance Actual A.S.A.P”

Meanwhile, the Firefly making its way to the Konig firefight they’re incidentally caught by the final panzer IV , with it being part of the pincer movement it accidentally came up behind the Firefly . With its 75 mm main cannon firing at the exposed rear of the firefly aiming to hit it in the rear in hope to knock out its engine or start a fire, but the shot missed striking just behind the Firefly . Thus it lost the element of surprise, but it still alerted it single active comrade to the position of the Firefly. The single Pz. Iv south of the Konig would now instead focus on the Firefly trying to zero onto the tank.

(I am on a phone so this post will be super short)

Suddenly the grizzly Sherman appeared out of the tree line. Instead of stopping it gained speed and used its gyrostabilizer to fire upon the enemy tanks. The first shot was a smoke shell that landed near the tiger 2 in order for it to withdrawal. The second shot was an armor piercing round which ricocheted off the panzer 4’s turret. The enemy tank began to turn its hull around to face the grizzly tank which left its vulnerable side armor wide open to the firefly tank. Jeremy shouted over the radio, “Go on! Shoot em in the ass!!”
