The school day is almost over, and Frederick is excited to go home. His English teacher assigns some homework, and once the bell rings, all of the students hurry to exit the classroom. When Frederick walks out of the classroom, he hurries to the front of the school to wait for his friends. A little over a week ago he had sent out a text to all of them, inviting them to his house to paint pumpkins on this very day. He pulls out his phone from his dark wash jeans to see if any of his friends had text him. A few students walk past him that he frequently talks to, so he waves at them. When he looks up from his phone, he can't help but admire the trees that have foliage starting to change color.
Autumn has been Frederick's favorite season ever since he started high school. Not only does he enjoy the drop in temperature, but he also likes getting to wear scarves and clothes appropriate for colder weather. Today he is wearing a knit sweater that is light tan with a subtle v-neck, darkwash jeans that fit him nicely, and light tan Vans. He is also wearing his brand new, grey knit scarf with dark blue snowflake designs on it. Frederick is almost too anxious to show it to his friends, hoping it will cheer them up some. His main purpose for inviting them to paint pumpkins at his house is to help everyone work through their differences, since there has been some issues over guys and silly rumors. The senior continues to wait for his lady friends, eager to get to his house. He is willing to drive everyone, though they also know where he lives.
Frederick begins to wonder if Jun still believes that Allison was secretly flirting with her high school crush, and only hopes they aren't bothered by some boy. Emmeline is typically quiet, but he knows there is something that she isn't telling the group. Hopefully none of this will matter when everyone is done painting their pumpkin.
