The school day is almost over, and Frederick is excited to go home. His English teacher assigns some homework, and once the bell rings, all of the students hurry to exit the classroom. When Frederick walks out of the classroom, he hurries to the front of the school to wait for his friends. A little over a week ago he had sent out a text to all of them, inviting them to his house to paint pumpkins on this very day. He pulls out his phone from his dark wash jeans to see if any of his friends had text him. A few students walk past him that he frequently talks to, so he waves at them. When he looks up from his phone, he can't help but admire the trees that have foliage starting to change color.

Autumn has been Frederick's favorite season ever since he started high school. Not only does he enjoy the drop in temperature, but he also likes getting to wear scarves and clothes appropriate for colder weather. Today he is wearing a knit sweater that is light tan with a subtle v-neck, darkwash jeans that fit him nicely, and light tan Vans. He is also wearing his brand new, grey knit scarf with dark blue snowflake designs on it. Frederick is almost too anxious to show it to his friends, hoping it will cheer them up some. His main purpose for inviting them to paint pumpkins at his house is to help everyone work through their differences, since there has been some issues over guys and silly rumors. The senior continues to wait for his lady friends, eager to get to his house. He is willing to drive everyone, though they also know where he lives.

Frederick begins to wonder if Jun still believes that Allison was secretly flirting with her high school crush, and only hopes they aren't bothered by some boy. Emmeline is typically quiet, but he knows there is something that she isn't telling the group. Hopefully none of this will matter when everyone is done painting their pumpkin.

Ally gazed out the window of her Math class. Typically, she was a great student in class, always focused and prepared. Today though, she was quite distracted. She didn't even raise her hand to answer a question once. She was a bit preoccupied on deciding whether or not to meet up with her old friends again. She still hadn't responded to the text Fredrick sent her about a week ago and she wasn't sure she ever would. She knew last time everyone was together some choice words were said, especially between her and Jun. After that mess, she wasn't sure she'd ever speak to any of them again. She started to hang out with her friends on the debate team more, and ignored her old friends. She had to admit, she did feel guilty about breaking off her friendship with them. They were all so close but now they can barely even speak to each other.

The bell rang, dismissing the students from class, and with that Ally pulled her phone out of her pocket. I'll be in front of the school in ten minutes, she texted Fredrick with a sigh. She figured that's where Fredrick would be anyways, she just wanted to let him know she'd be there. She'd need a ride too, her car was in the shop and she was planning on walking home. Might as well hitch a ride while sho could. She honestly wasn't sure why she decided to go. She just didn't want to miss the chance to make things right, not that she'd ever admit that. She was still a bit upset over the Jun situation. Ally stood up from her desk and walked out of the classroom. She texted Violet, her right hand man on the debate team, as she walked, Run the meeting today without me, something came up. She never missed a meeting unexpectedly, so she figured just this once would be fine.

She walked quite slowly to the front of the school. She wasn't sure of what she'd say if all her old friends were there. Ally smoothed out her tan oversized flannel and looked down at her outfit. Under her flannel was a tight fitting black t-shirt and black jeans. It looked fine, so she continued on. She spotted Fredrick standing in front of the school and gave a small wave as she approached, not sure if he saw her. "Hi Fredrick. Nice scarf," she said, nodding at the scarf that she assumed was new. Her greeting wasn't exactly cold, but it wasn't particularly warm either. She had nothing against Fredrick, she just wasn't sure what it would be like between them after everything that had happened.
