Name: Emmeline McGillicuddy

Nickname(s): Emme, Em.

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Ethnicity: Irish

Sexual Orientation: straight

Occupation: Tutor

Personality: Strengths- She’s very smart, and athletic.
Weaknesses- Emmeline is the pinnacle of hubris. She’s also very temperamental.
Likes- Soccer, dance, sailing, science, and football.

Backstory: Emmeline grew up in a close knit, large family. Her mom, Kathleen, is a doctor at the local hospital, and her dad, Jack, is a fireman. She is kid 6 of 9, so her house was always chaotic growing up. When she was 12, Em was involved in a car accident. Her oldest sister was driving and she had passed away in the accident. Since her sister’s passing, Em has been striving to be as perfect as possible, trying to make up for the loss of her sister to her parents. She was involved with pretty much every activity under the sun as a kid. She ended up sticking with dance, soccer, competitive sailing, and softball. With the support of her family, she is gearing up to go away for college next year.

Eric here. This is Frederick, my latest character creation.

Name: Frederick O'mally
Age: Eighteen
Gender: Man
Ethnicity: French and African American
Sexual Orientation: Homosexual
Occupation: Works at a café

Personality: There are many different qualities about Frederick that make him who he is. While he is generally an introvert, those who know him would say he is helpful and caring. He is very passionate about painting and other crafts.

Frederick has several strengths and weaknesses. One strength of his is that he is crafty, and he has good interior design skills. Another strength of his is that he is honest. Some weaknesses of his are his shyness that he is sometimes indecisive.

He likes dipping certain crackers and cookies in coffee, animals, helping others, staying organized, and reading. Some things that he dislikes include rude people, dishonesty, being unable to find something, confrontation, and dijon mustard.

Backstory: Bonjour, Frederick!
Frederick was born in Paris, a major European city in France. His parents were struggling to make ends meet, and were not even officially together. When Giana found out that she was going to have a baby, she made some changes in order to be ready for when he arrived. Francis, his father, was still going out and getting drunk and associating with the wrong people. It wasn't until Frederick was introduced to the world that Francis changed most of his ways. Giana worked as an assistant manager at a dollar store, and Francis worked as a security guard for a local mall. As Frederixk grew older, he enjoyed going for strolls around Paris, many people fawning over him. When he was five, he was enrolled in school and art classes. His father got into drinking again, but Frederick helped Francis to stay sober. Giana did a lot with her son, and even taught him English since most kids at his school spoke French. To help Francis stay away from bad influences, the family flew over the Atlantic Ocean to live in Los Angeles when Frederick was eleven.

Welcome to Los Angeles~
Although many customs were different to Frederick at first, he adjusted rather quickly. He wasn't interested in making many friends in school, and instead chose to befriend only select people in school. This group of friends would be seen doing everything together, but are now letting silly drama interfere with their friendship. Frederick is getting ready to pursue a career in the arts, and is also hoping he can bring his friends together again before going to college.

Name: Jun["June"] Yamamoto
Nickname(s): n/a
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Japanese
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Occupation: n/a

Personality
Strengths- Organized, Honest
Weaknesses- Pessimistic, Impatient
Likes- Reading, Writing, Fashion, Hard Candies, Skateboarding
Dislikes- Dogs, Studying, Snow, Parties
Other- Left-Handed, Hums often

Backstory:
Although she was born in Japan, Jun has only known life in the United States. She was brought to the States before she could even walk, almost exclusively because her mother was looking to further her acting career outside of her homeland. Being an only child to a successful actress, Jun was raised primarily by her stay-at-home father, who did his best to avoid the typical spoiled child that could easily result from Jun's upbringing. Naturally, she was taught in private schools almost her whole life, which was a stark contrast to the humility she was taught at home. Surrounded by children who had fallen into the "spoiled rich kid" stereotype, the contrast between her environments would help to eventually form Jun's view of the world, perfectly summed up by the idea that "life isn't fair."
By the time she high school was coming around, Jun had finally convinced her father that private schooling was not for her. Being enrolled in a public school, where both expectations for perfection and commitment to extracurricular activities were much lower. With her newfound free time, she was free to explore the city. With the exception of holidays and spending time with her father, Jun was almost always away from her own neighborhood, having dropped the few "friends" she had made at the private school she'd attended before, there wasn't much reason.
All through ninth grade, Jun made no effort to make friends; she was skirting by with grades just good enough to not alert her father, and attendance to match, she was avoiding as much school as she could. However, during the next year, there was some sort of group project she couldn't quite get out of. One thing led to another and, by some miracle(or curse, if you'd asked her in the moment), Jun had made some friends.
Fast forward a few years, and drama has risen. A little miscommunication here, in-the-heat-of-the-moment, poor choices of words there, and suddenly none of them were talking to each other. They were all getting ready for their lives post high school, Jun included. Quite surprisingly, she was worried about whether they would stay like that. Until suddenly, a text from a familiar number would pop up on Jun's phone. Jun's only concern? That Frederick would try to spin it into a party of some sort.

herstory
Ally grew up the only child to a successful businessman. Her mother passed away soon after giving birth to her, so she was left alone with her father. She is close with her father and they have a good relationship. He taught her to work hard and always reach for her goals. Something she always enjoyed was writing, as well as speaking in front of people. She looked forward to having to present a project in front of her class, or give a speech. She was also quite competitive, always getting top grades in her classes. Ally was social as a child and easily made friends. In high school, she joined debate club and is now captain. She also volunteers at the local animal shelter. She always talked to many people, but found it hard to make true friends. She became more selective with the people she trusts and decided to not get too close to anyone, maintaining acquaintance status with most people. That is, until she met the tight knit group. The friends were inseparable for a while, until drama tore them apart. She is trying to move on from them and currently hangs out with her debate team "friends" but can't shake the feeling that a great friendship was ruined. She is preparing to study at UC Berkley next year.
