"How fragile a life is..."
Marina nods, putting out her arm and exposing her wrist. A device around her forearm buzzes to life and 3D prints a circular-shaped device in her hand. She places it on her luggage along with a sign that says Do not move luggage or alarm will sound in both English and Portuguese. She turns back to the man and smiles proudly again. "Portable 3D printer capable of printing both metals and plastics using nano-fibers as well as installing computer components and writing pre-saved machine code. I used a prototype of this for my science fair project. Unfortunately, I only won second place."
Angela looks at John as he starts the tour, then back at Bird. "Well, John will give a tour and then we will give a preliminary training course specific to your operative class. We can assess your skills there and team you up with operatives of other classes that compliment your abilities. After that, you can have the rest of the day off. We will start with the real work tomorrow morning."
John turned and started walking through the main office, his hands behind his back. He led the group through the building, introducing the recruits to a few of the administrative officials. He moves on to the campus and over to the research building. "This is where all of our scientists and engineers work. If you ever need an upgrade or a repair on your equipment, this is where you go. Torbjorn is head engineer here, but he's on vacation." The passing scientists nod to and address the commander as they continue working diligently. John moves on to the gymnasium. "Part of your time here will be spent on physical training. A few memos will be sent to you this afternoon with information on approved PT activities." He walks into the spacious gym where there was a monstrous man lifting weights in a corner. John grumbles and shouts out to the man, "Give it a rest, Reinhardt! You might as well live there, you meathead."
Reinhardt Wilhelm puts the dumbbell on the rack and sits up, laughing loudly as John yells at him. "Ah, Johnathan, you know I can't do that! I must always be in peak physical condition, no time for slacking off!" John rolls his eyes from behind his mask and turns to the group. "Ladies and gents, this is Reinhardt. He's the head of the Tank training department, so you'll see a lot of him during mock matches. He's also our resident living fossil. Anyway, he's the guy to go to if you need assistance with physical training."[/I][/I]
