Ability 1:  Proximity Repair


Standing near any of her inventions will repair it for 20 health per second through a machine on her wrist


If any of her inventions are destroyed by any means other than by deploying more than two inventions or as the result of an enemy using an ultimate, a salvage pack will be dropped that she can pick up to shorten the cooldown of her next deployment by 3 seconds


~Primary Fire: Tigress Mk. 2 Rifle, Semi-automatic marksman rifle dealing moderately high damage at medium range, 16 rounds dealing 30 damage every .35 seconds, headshots do double damage (max of 120 dps) , moderate accuracy, 2.5 second reload time


~Secondary Fire: Deploy selected Invention at Rinha's feet, only two Inventions can be deployed at any given time, 10 second cooldown between uses


Ability 2: Kinetic Rounds


Loads 10 kinetic rounds into the Tigress Mk. 2 and equips laser sight for easier targeting


 Shots do 50% increased damage to shields  and deployables, to enemies deals a reduced base damage of 15. Damage increases with range, reaching a maximum of 50 damage, headshots disabled, increased recoil


14 second cooldown that takes effect after last shot is fired


Ability 3: Invention Select


Swich selection from one of six different Inventions that provide a variety of functions


Inventions do not work against Sombra's cloak ability and can be hacked and disarmed by her


Inventions are highlighted in Widowmaker's ultimate and can be targeted by Soldier 76's ultimate


Support classes are only able to repair


~Beacon [100 health]: allies within 20 meters can see enemies through walls highlighted in orange for one blip every second


~Chaser [50 health]: deployable mine that will seek out enemies within a 5 second fuse and deal 75 damage on detonation across an AoE of 3m, resulting detonation cannot be salvaged


~Tank Buster [75 health]: proximity mine that does 150 damage to Tank-class characters and only 30 damage to all other types across an AoE of 3m, 10% chance of being a dud and not exploding when triggered


~Enhancer [50 health]: all friends within 10m receive a damage buff of 25%


~Repulsor [75 health]: all enemies within 15m receive 15 damage every .7 seconds, 5% chance of EMP blast shutting down enemy abilities for 5 seconds


~Protector [50 health]: all allies within 20m receive 50 shield health that replenishes every 8 seconds (Note: this is the only Invention that can receive healing from supports)

Equip a metallic glove capable of shooting a continuous stream of lightning that deals 25 damage twice per second for 8 seconds to an enemy at a maximum range of 10m in her field of view as well as arcing  and dealing 25 damage per second to any enemies with 10m of the primary target


Primary targets are blinded as well as secondary targets


Lightning penetrates shields and still effects hidden Sombra, although Zarya can absorb the damage


Background



Born into a Brazilian American family, Marina was fascinated with science and technology at a young age. Her father was an American-born engineer contracted with a firearms research and development facility  in Rio de Janeiro; her mother was an architect and related to the Overwatch hero Lucio, and her choices to study and develop minimal-cost inventions using mobile 3D printing were heavily influenced by her parent's professions. As a child, she was teased and made fun of for having blonde hair with dark skin as well as the overwhelming rate at which her inventions failed and her bisexuality. However, she kept a smile on her face  and never stopped working on her machines. When she was only 16 years old, she graduated high school and completed her bachelor's degree in engineering at the age of 19. She was considering completing her master's when she was called by the United States government to work on a series of experimental weapons. She excelled at her job despite complaints from her co-workers that she was way too cheerful; many projects that were expected to be failures exceeded the expectations of her bosses thanks to a wrist-mounted 3D printer that she helped invent for a high school science project.. But she had spent only a few months as a government contractor when she learned that her father had gone missing during a riot that had taken place near his research lab. Struggling to stay optimistic, Marina applied to the Overwatch Academy and was accepted. The inventor hopes that her future career in Overwatch will give her the opportunity to search the world for her father.
