Lore/The story so far:
Over a century ago, the world was divided. The many different races that thrived on Lepthalys believed that they were each the dominant species, and seeked to prove that notion the only way they knew how: war. For decades the world was one giant free for all, until one day, everything changed.
The king of the Bogans, who’s name has been lost to time, soon grew fed up with such conflict. Without warning, his armies ravaged across the world, it seemed almost supernatural how large his army was. As it turns out, he had made a deal with a demon by the name of Veritas, who offered him peace in exchange for his soul. By ‘peace’ the demon meant turning the king mad, and resurrecting all the Bogan soldiers who had fallen in the previous battles. Lepthalys was forced to unite to stop the mad king’s wrath, being led by 5 individuals: The Sindelvan warrior king Sindel, the Human queen Maia, the great dragon Dollos, the Bogan philosopher(and defector) Hugo, and the Wasteland survivor Rhonda. Together there armies sieged the capital of the Bogan’s empire, and with one last cackle as he fell to his death, the old king laid waste thanks to his demonic ally, many of the soldiers fighting that day were turned into the Homunculus.
The 5 who led the siege were never seen again, victims of ‘The Reaping’ as it was called. They were seen to have arisen from there mortal forms, and were soon viewed as gods, the ‘Old Gods’ as the world would come to know them as. The nations of Lepthalys, fearing any more blood, shared the world peacefully, and everything seemed to be Happily ever After. Alas, it was never meant to be.
Now, it appears as though history is repeating itself. A rogue Bogan warlord known as Cyber has reconquered the continent of Jaago, and has restored the old kingdom to its former glory. The Cy, as he would name it, seeked to spread the idea that Cyber himself was the reincarnation of Hugo, and was in need of the 4 he deemed as the reincarnations of the other members of the Old Gods, and together, he exclaimed, they would put an end to Veritas’s malice. Any who questioned the Cy were either imprisoned, slain or experiments for The Wash, a strange brew that gave the user undying loyalty to ‘The Prophet’ as Cyber was soon known as. The world was divided yet again, but the question remains, who do you see as right? Each side sees there fight as the righteous one, the Allies, led by the humans of Anweon, don’t believe the Prophet, and fight to stop him and his Wash. The Liberators, led by Cyber himself, want to cleanse the world of there false religions and gods, and to embrace the 5 Ol Gods as there saviors.
