Fandom Outasts {Hogwarts RP}

Even Hogwarts has it's misfits; those who have never quite been able to blend. Maybe they make trouble, maybe they found trouble, maybe they were born with it. No matter what the case may be, outcasts find each other, and the room of requirement can make a pretty nice refuge.

Miria leaned against the stone wall of the corridor, letting out a long breath. It was the weekend, and she's been trying to get to the library when one of the staircases changed and she found herself in an unfamiliar corridor. Deciding not to make another go at Hogwart's many many stairs yet, she walked up and down the corridor a few times to loosen up.

What did it say about her, that she was more relaxed walking an empty corridor, or hiding in the library than with her roommates up in the Gryffindor common room? At first she'd told herself it was so no one would find out, and thus the headmaster would never know, but as time passed she had to admit it was simply that she didn't fit in anymore. Sure, she had never been a social butterfly, but people noticed things, and without the option of 'pregnant' they were left with 'weirdo'.

With another sigh, Miria made a third pass across the corridor. As she turned for a fourth, she suddenly saw a large door in the center of the wall. She stared at it for a few seconds, wondering how she didn't notice till then. It was Hogwarts of course, so who's to say it hadn't just appeared randomly? Approaching it cautiously, Miria pushed the door open, and was surprised when she was faced with a large, bright room. There were maybe fifteen kids in it, from first year to seventh, all positioned around the room in small groups, talking, writing, or playing games. There were two levels, a main floor and a little wrap around balcony to get at shelves of books and other odd items. There was one big table in the middle of the room, with a few older teenagers sitting at it and talking. In the corner, Miria could just make out a small kitchen.

One of the teens at the large table looked up on her entrance, and smiled at her.

"Hey, looks like we have a new outcast."

Mortimer was up in the loft and was reading a book, ignoring the rest of the world when the new comer came in. He was in Ravenclaw so he didn't recognize the girl, but if she had found this place who was he to tell her that she didn't belong. Besides this was one of the few places were he felt like he fit in, one of the few places that his metal arm was shown as if it was nothing, so he had his sleeves rolled up from his robes. He gave a grunt and decided he should at least give the girl a welcome so he got up and went down the winding stairs and was right in front of her.

"Hello. DO you know the name of this room? Did you find it on propose?"

A bird sat in the rafters. It stared down at the newcomer as she walked in, it's dark feathers blending in to the dark above the ret of the kids. Suddenly when it swooped down, and she grew out into her human body. Her wild red hair and her green eyes contrasting with the rusty red quidditch robes that bled from her former black feathers. She had been wearing her quidditch uniform the moment classes got out- there was a quidditch game later today, so why both getting changed in a rush.

Miria's eyes widened at the girl, who she recognized as being in her same house and year. Her name was... Johanna, that was it. The read head kept mostly to herself, so Miria had only talked to her on occasion. Miria hadn't known there were any animagi at the school, except Professor McGonagall of course. She had heard it was incredibly difficult, it was impressive for anyone, let alone a sixth year. Shaking her head a little, the answered the other boy's question.

"Ah, no, I don't know what this place is. Just sort of... Walked through a random door I guess. I never realized there was a... Well, an anything in this part of the school." She rubbed her arm awkwardly. "Sorry if I interrupted a club meeting or anything."

"It is the room of requirement. It opens for those who need anything and comes as it is needed." Said Mortimer as he offered his good hand to her. "Welcome and it is no club, more of a place to hang out." He then looked at the girl who had shifted from a bird. "Please be careful. It would suck if you accidently fell on top of someone. Imagine explaining that to the nurse why one of us has shoe marks all over our face." He was joking but it was hard to tell with him.

Naomi was busy practicing spells. Her wand kept sending sparks and making cracking noises. Not only that but she kept getting distracted by other people and finally she fell to the floor. "I don't get it!" She complained loudly. That's when she looked up and noticed a new face. Naomi's face automatically lit up and she slid towards the newcomer and hung one arm over the newcomer's shoulders. " 'Ello!" She said. "Name's Naomi." Her voice carried throughout the room.

Kael wandered aimlessly around the many empty, long forgotten halls and corridors of Hogwarts. His mind was consumed by thoughts and worries, the most prominent of which was a memory of an "incident" in potions a few days earlier. Even the memory of it made his face burn with humiliation. The teacher had asked him a question, but he wasn't expecting it so all he managed to do was stammer embarrassedly as his faced turned red enough to match the Gryffindor colours. The worst part was that he knew the answer, but couldn't manage to string the words together into a coherent sentence. And all too soon the teacher answered it for him, as a few of his classmates giggled at his awkwardness. For the rest of the class he could hear a few girls behind him, giggling and whispering. He just knew it was about him, and he wanted to disappear.

The thought made him cringe, but when he finally began to tune in about his surroundings, he noticed that he had paced the same corridor several times already. Yet strangely enough, there was a door that he couldn't remember being there before. Glancing down the hall to ensure that there was no one following him, he moved to open the door. He figured since this part of the castle was so desolate, the room must be some empty, abandoned room in which he could drown himself in his humiliation, alone. His thoughts once again consumed, he didn't notice the number of people there at first. But when the noise of a room full of many different people finally reached his ears, he froze in shock and dismay.

connor was inside the room as well he loked at her realizing who she was "miria!!" he said walking to her hugging her "how have you been i havn't seen you in a while" he said smieling at her he looked into her eyes "i missed you so much" he said smieling at her he then looked at her belly "hasn't you belly gotten a little swollen since we last met to many cakes int he grate hall eh" he said smileing

"Eh, I'm surprised you're not practicing for the game today, Naomi. You are on the team this year aren't ya?" Johanna said, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest, looking at Naomi with a slight smirk as she stared. "You do realize there is a Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw match today, yes?" She added, picking some lint off her robes idly.

"Yes. It would be a shame if we didn't have a fair challenge." Said Mortimer meaning it to be a compliment. "You are a good flyer. Hate not to see you swooping about, catching winged things in the air."
