Name: Connor Drake

Biography: Thieving was how Connor lived throughout his life. Being a young boy without parents, Connor was taken into an orphanage and lived there for years. It was an awful place, with caretakers that barely paid attention to the kids and did the bare minimum to keep the kids healthy. This existence was one that quickly made Connor into a thief, one that stole food, candy, toys, and books for the kids of the orphanage. He had naturally deft hands, and was a skilled pickpocket and shoplifter as a result. Stealing didn't make him happy, but it made the other kids happy, and he only did it on special occasions. What helped keep him happy during this time was a dog that would often visit him from outside of the orphanage. He would play with it often. The dog would occasionally play with the other kids too, and one of them thought that the name 'Kiba' was a good fit for him. When Connor was eleven, the caretakers found out about his exploits and immediately called the police. Before they arrived, however, Connor escaped the orphanage and hid in an alley all night. He found Kiba sleeping in an alleyway, and waited there until the dog woke up. From then on, the two friends would be inseparable. Connor stole to survive, visiting the library often and reading comics that he found in stores.


Personality: As a result of his childhood, Connor is a rather jaded person. He always looks at how things are rather than how they should be, and is quite the realist. He's not the type of person to make a lot of jokes, however he does make sarcastic comments and jokes from time to time. While he is quite clever, he can be a bit lazy sometimes, however he will work when he thinks there's a good enough reason to do it. He's rather mature for his age and is a nice guy, just one with a troubled past. He doesn't trust others easily but can be quite loyal to his friends. He always puts others before himself, a trait he shares with his guardian.

Abilities: Connor is a naturally intelligent person and often uses that to his advantage. He plans things ahead before he acts and is quite skilled at doing so. He's also in good athletic shape and is very skilled with his hands. Because of his reoccurring need to escape sticky situations, Connor is also a skilled runner and climber, learning to traverse the city streets and buildings with ease. His demonic half-blood grants him various abilities when he's in Falendia, including short-ranged teleportation, heightened senses, enhanced strength and speed, as well as the ability to summon demonic wings. Another useful tool is his ability to summon his sword, the Night Bringer, whenever he wants. It appears in his hands with a shadowy aura, and is incredibly sharp and indestructible.

Guardian Name: Kiba


Guardian Personality: Kiba is rather quiet. He only speaks when he has to, and always thinks before he speaks. He's very serious and melancholic, however he occasionally cracks a joke when the time is right. As a guardian, he is very protective of the children and does his best to help whenever he can. He always keeps others in mind and puts them before himself, and can get quite ferocious when others are put into mortal danger. Above all, though, Kiba is a thinker and plans ahead instead of acting rationally. He has kept in contact with the other guardians throughout the raising of the children, knowing full well that the day would come when they'd need to introduce the kids to their home.


Guardian Abilities: A combination of his demonic blood and his canine shape makes Kiba a very good fighter. He often waits for an opportune moment to strike before moving in for the kill. His senses are very sharp, allowing him to spot danger and track prey with ease. His wings allow for sustained flight, however he finds it difficult to carry things when he flies.

The Bowborns are possibly the most revered of all the wood-elf families, their archery skill is the stuff of legends and their children are taught to wield a bow as if it is a part of their body. The Bowborns are also reknowned for their method of choosing their bows, each member of the family must select the tree from which their bow is to be carved and they must be intimately involved in the making of their bow. Leanon was ripped of his chance to do this however he was sent through with a white elm bow, an heirloom of his family for centuries and powerful beyond measure. At Leanon's third birthday Leanon's guardian - Rubis - dropped the bow and an ornate quiver at the end of Leanon's bed while he was sleeping, his foster parents - seeing this as a sign - sought out any and all of the most revered archers in the world to teach their son. He was a prodigy, at the age of 14 he was declared the best archer in the world and invited to attend the olympics, winning the gold medal.


Leanon's foster family adopted him from a nearby orphanage, they were an incredibly rich couple however his foster mother was unable to have children. Having parents as rich as this lead to Leanon being able to do everything and anything he wanted. Learning from the best in the world. His parent's were more than happy to pay for this and are incredibly proud of their "son". Despite the fact that Leanon knows he's adopted he still loves his foster family, his father is intelligent and charismatic, teaching Leanon how to be the same whilst his mother is caring and gentle.


Leanon first saw Rubis when he was 4, he disregarded this until he began to see him everywhere, eventually, at age 12 he discovered that he felt a connection with this bird until one day it landed on his shoulder and suddenly the world took on a sharper look, he was looking at it through Rubis' eyes.

Leanon hates losing, he has never had to face it and this has lead to him being almost afraid of losing anything. This makes him strive to achieve more, every day he's out shooting his bow, improving and improving. He is also very self confident, almost to the point of arrogance, despite his mother attempting to teach him otherwise. Whilst Leanon adores his family he has always felt a bit out of place and this lead to him feeling quite lonely for a lot of his young life. He also has a very long attention span, sometimes waiting hours if that's what is required of him. Leanon feels confined in the city and so he attempted to learn parkour to get a sense of freedom, it worked however he still didn't feel comfortable until his family moved and he was able to visit a nearby forest. He also adores the wilderness, enjoying tracking animals not to kill but to see them in the wild, occasionally shooting a pigeon when he's feeling particularly bored.

Guardian Personality: Rubis is incredibly docile, acting more as a scout than as a fighter. Rubis is incredibly duty-bound, knowing that it's his duty to look after Leanon at all costs. Rubis is dedicated to training the half breeds in order to take back his home.

Leanon can use Rubis' senses to see, giving him incredible eyesight and the ability to see from Rubis' perspective


Rubis can mark out targets for Leanon, allowing him to see them through any objects which may be in the way

Biography:

After traveling through the portal to Earth, Lilithe found herself stranded in a finely decorated angelic crate on the side of the road. Wherever the mages had intended for her to land had failed, as rather than being placed on the doorstep of some orphanage or a family's home, she had been dropped out in the middle of nowhere during rush-hour and without her guardian. Luckily, it did not take long before a young couple, driving by and noticing the child, pulled their white truck to the side of the road. After several heated arguments they eventually decided against giving up the little girl to an orphanage and decided to adopt her as their own, as they knew that they would have someday wanted a child of their own anyways.

Lilithe grew up on a small rural ranch right next to the softly flowing river. Her younger days were ones filled with bliss and the comfort of the hearth. Eventually the couple who had taken her in had bore a child as well, giving her a younger sister named Calla whom Lili delicately tended to and cared for. The two quickly became the best of friends, having many memorable times together. Though nothing can ever last forever and ultimately Calla came down with pancreatic cancer at age 10. Needless to say she passed away about 4 months later. Lili mourned for her lost sister for several months, eventually going into depression.

It was during this time when her guardian had at last, after several years of searching, managed to find Lilithe. He approached her one afternoon when she had just gotten home from school and was swinging on the swingset in her backyard with her head down. Utterly surprised by the arrival of a seemingly wild horse appearing out of nowhere, and the biggest horse she had ever seen in her life at that, Lili fell off the swing onto the ground. She merely stared at the magnificent equine in awe and befuddlement. That night she managed to talk her parents into taking in the horse under the premise that it would help ease her depression.

As the years passed Lili grew incredibly more attached to the young stallion, naming him Pyrois after a suggestion from a childhood friend who often came over to visit her commented that the horse's hide looked like blazing fire in the sunlight. Lili felt more attached to the animal than words could explain. It was as if something like fate pulled them together, but that wasn't the weirdest thing. This horse acted unlike any she had ever seen. It was almost as if he completely and utterly understood what she said and what went on around him.

Personality:

Typically shy and bashful to strangers, Lilithe Rein has a hard time making new friends. Although she herself is understandably a fantastic person and great friend once you are able to get to know her, it is always meeting new people that tends to bring out her more introverted side. Around family and close friends she definitely is someone of a more decent and playful nature who enjoys the outdoors and meeting challenges head on. Speaking of the outdoors, Lili hates few things with as much passion as she does being forced to stay inside. It's not really claustrophobia that fuels her hate, but probably something similar to it as staying indoors too long will begin to make her feel antsy and make her start to have small anxiety attacks.

Guardian Personality:

Pyrois is a highly headstrong and dedicated individual. He rarely deviates from whatever task is on hand, whether that be something mundane like pulling a cart or something much more severe such as saving the lives of those around him. Unlike Lili, this equine doesn't play around much and is best described as stern, or perhaps austere. He would easily lay down his life to protect the girl he's grown up with and was charged with protecting and guiding.

Guardian Abilities:

Astonishingly strong, he can lift up to 3 times his own body weight. He has a natural affinity with fire and can even boost Lilithe's fire abilities as well as on occassion her healing ones. Strangely he also has the rare power of being able to walk on grass without disturbing it (at least when he's in falendia and no longer a normal horse).

• Personality: Valkyrie can be described as: an optimist, helpful, and a total klutz. At any rate, Valkyrie is a kind, gentle soul but with a tendency to shy away from most people upon first meeting. The girl always looks on the positive side of situations and will typically look on the good side of people as well. Although she has a love for helping those that are in need of aid, she is quite the clumsy person. She usually ends up falling flat on her face when she's never even tripped on a single thing. When Valkyrie has found someone that she respects or thinks highly of, she refers to them as her Senpai. The girl commonly wears a neutral or happy expression, seeming spaced out or excited to do something. In addition, Valkyrie is considerably naive, as she is rarely on high alert when seeing someone(first meetings aside). Furthermore, the girl has a love for knowledge. She is a grade higher then she should be, and takes pride for her ability to soak up information easily. You'll always find her on her free time on a couch reading a book. Whilst she seems like she adores information/nonfiction more than fiction, that is not the case. For she equally holds nonfiction and fiction dear to her heart—romance novels especially.

• Biography: Valkyrie's foster father was a cop for quite a while. One day, while driving back home at night, he got a call of hearing baby screams in an abandoned house. He went over to the home and heard the cries as well, so he broke down the door. He picked up the bundle and went to the police department. Whilst they tried their best to search for the child's parents, they never did find out who her biological mother and father were. So her foster father did something that surprised everyone: he took the babe in.
  
  
  Valkyrie never knew that she was adopted until her second week of school. She was being bullied, but she bragged how her father would come and save her. Well, apparently the bullies were incredibly smart, else they wouldn't be able to point out her differences with her parents. They told her that they weren't her real parents, so when she came back home, bruised and hurt, she asked her parents if they really weren't her parents. They simply replied by telling her that she was a princess from a far away land that they had to protect. And, I guess that wasn't a total lie. Although Valkyrie resented her parents for a long time, she decided to give up her hate after, oh, three or four hours.
  
  
  To sum up the rest of her history without being a bore, she adopted Queen Mab at a adoption center, but couldn't think of a good name until she read about the Unseelie Queen(Queen Mab). She thought it rather fit the kitten well, as she was such the feisty demon-cat back then(still now, actually).

  —Phasing: Valkyrie can pass through objects/humans/animals and let objects/humans/animals pass through her. With practice, she could also eventually disrupt electrical systems, humans included. However, since she does not have any experience with the power, the first time she uses it... she may or may not get her clothes to phase along with her.
  
  
  —Invisibility: Valkyrie can turn herself invisible—she just hasn't gotten the whole at will part down.
  
  
  —Magic Sight: Valkyrie can see objects/humans/animals with magic in them differently. For example, if there's a drink with a Potion of Love magic in it, the drink's aura will appear to be blue—same with everything that has magic/something supernatural. So sadly, invisibility won't work on her, hon!
  
  
  —Death Glare: Valkyrie can scare the socks(probably make someone pee their pants) off of someone by simply glaring at them. It's a natural 'ghost/banshee thing'—because, after all, ghosts are supposed to be scary. If she glared daggers at someone, though, that's a totally different story: they might just get a stroke, or even die—good thing she's docile!

  Guardian Personality: Mab is.. well... she's unique, let's say. She is the total opposite of Val—the troublemaker, the liar.. Mab is prideful, jealous, and greedy; just like a cat, you may say. She rarely gets along with anyone other than Val, whom she sticks with at all(almost all[school]) times so to protect her from making any mistakes(Val is naive). Mab tends to get mood swings—one moment she's about to claw your eyes out, the next she's in your lap, purring like a kitten. See, that's the thing about Mab: "I don't like holding grudges." Mab is also very curious about everything. And although curiosity killed the cat, Mab does have some extra lives up her sleeve.

Name: Drake Merwin

Biography: Drake was only a born a few hours before the mages sent him to an orphanage where he would spend only a short few week there. His ‘mother’, Lana, was looking to adopt, not because she wanted children but because she wanted to stay within the inner circle of the wealthy Merwin family. Lana knew her husband, Anders, was planning on divorcing her to be with some younger woman but he wouldn’t dare do so with a child, unfortunately Lana seemed unable to have children herself so for eight months she faked it until she saw Drake at the orphanage. He was young enough to appear to be a newborn and he had hair similar hair and skin colors of Lana so she adopted him with the intent to pass him off as her child. It worked, Anders and Drake still do not know about the false pregnancy and Lana is still keeping the secret tight under wrap.


Drake grew up with the best education and everything he ever wanted so when he started showing signs of violence and sadism, it was a surprise. In order to give him an outlet his parents signed him up for martial arts, wrestling, and boxing classes which he pursued with vigor. This kept him out of most trouble until he was 14, when an older student bullied him only to be followed home and beat with a steel bat until the student passed out. Drake was sent to a boarding school where troubled rich kids went when their parents couldn’t deal with them anymore. It was here that Drake met his guardian, Chandra. She was just waiting for him one day inside of his room and for reasons he didn’t even know, he took in this silver snake in as his own.


Personality: Having lived at the ‘boarding school of bad influences’ for two years now Drake has come to be seen as a rich, spoiled, bully and he will admit that all of these things are true. He will fight to get what he wants and is prone to bragging about what he has. He is rather sarcastic and it is hard to shut him up since he always has something to say. The only time Drake lets people control him is if they have proven their strength to him (aka beat him up) but as soon as they show weakness he will turn on them and attempt to work solo yet he always seems to end up working as the muscle for someone else.


Likes: Fighting, money, martial arts, reptiles, mythology,


Dislikes: Nerdy people, owls, manipulators, being used, school


Abilities: When in Falendia he grows scales on patches of his skin which are incredibly tough; his nails and teeth are covered in poison and sharpen as well. He also develops the snakes ‘heat receptors’ which are able to sense slight changes in the ambient temperature. When on Earth however his skills are that of a skilled martial artists, nothing world renown though, but he has shown that he heals faster than normal and all of his senses are slightly better than most. Lastly when in serious emotional distress (anger, sadness, etc) his eyes take on the power to turn those he looks at turn to stone.


Strengths (3): Naturally big and strong, surprising resistance to pain, trained in several forms of martial arts, poisons, tough scales,


Weaknesses (3): Can’t control his emotions, has almost no range combat experience, easily shifted loyalties, bad at taking orders, no empathy

Guardian Name: Chandra


Guardian Personality: Chandra is rather sly and she uses her snake tongue to take advantage of others and get what she wants. In spite of the distrust and caution she initially shows to others, she hates being alone. She will protect those important to her no matter who she has to hurt or what she has to do, but if she fails to do that than she is likely to hold a grudge and she will hold onto it for years or until she gets revenge or recompense. Due to the fact that her real form is that of a hydra she often finds it difficult to make a concreate decisions and is known to change views seemingly on a whim.


Guardian Abilities: As a snake Chandra is gifted with venom that, if enough was pumped into the blood stream, would be able to bring down an elephant. She also is rather fast, having the ability to slither and bite as fast as lightning. In Falendia she is smaller than an average hydra and is slower than she is when in her normal snake form but her tails and necks are incredibly strong when swung. Chandra has a more acidic venom in Falendia and she follows the law “Cut one off and two more grow in its place’. She also has improved senses like most snakes do.
