Vaila
Cybernetic Princess.
Original Species
There were four original supernatural families in the beginning. Each was human once, called upon by the Gods to protect the world from a demon attack.
The
Arel's
became shapeshifters, able to turn into the form of any animal or creature they desired.
The
Desin's
became vampires, fast and strong they were almost impossible to catch and even harder to kill.
The
Hart's
became fairies, able to use the powers of the earth, water and fire to fight their enemies.
The
Redick's
became the witches, casting spells to protect, injure or create.
But after the war was over, and the demons had retreated, the Gods asked for their powers back but the families refused. Their leaders liked the power they'd been given and they wouldn't give them up easily. They assumed that the Gods would come down from the heavens and take their powers back by force, but they were wrong. Instead the four families were cursed, allowed to keep their powers but with side effects and weaknesses. They were no longer as powerful as they once were, and the leaders grew angry with this.

- The shapeshifters' curse became known as the 'curse of the moon'. Like the legend of the werewolf, they were forced to take the shape of their spirit animal each full moon.
- Although they can take the form of any animal with enough practice, it is the animal they most relate to that they are forced to take the shape of.
- They are weakened by wolfsbane and silver.
- Unlike when they were human, the shapeshifters are Immortal.
- They can have children, but only with mortal creatures, such as humans or witches.
- In order to become a shapeshifter you either have to be bitten by a shapeshifter or born.
- If you are bitten, you are loyal to the shapeshifter who bit you.
- They often travel in packs where the eldest shapeshifter is the leader.
- The shapeshifters' curse became known as the 'curse of the moon'. Like the legend of the werewolf, they were forced to take the shape of their spirit animal each full moon.
- The vampire curse is known as the 'Curse of the Sun', causing vampires to be burned by UV rays.
- If their skin is covered, they can go outside but their eyes are sensitive.
- They are weakened by vervain and gold.
- Unlike when they were human, they are Immortal.
- They can have children with mortal creatures, like humans or witches.
- As vampires they are stronger and faster than average humans, with bullet proof skin. (Unless the bullets are made with vervain or gold.)
- They have pale skin, which makes them stand out amongst other beings, and are known to be beautiful.
- They have to drink the blood of other creatures to survive but most choose to drink animal or donated blood.
- To become a vampire you need to be bitten by a vampire or born.
- If bitten a bond is formed between the 'maker' and the 'fledgling', meaning that the fledgling is inclined to do as the maker asks.
- All vampire lines can be traced back to the original family.
- The vampire curse is known as the 'Curse of the Sun', causing vampires to be burned by UV rays.
- The fairy curse is known as the 'Curse of the Dust'. This means that fairies are poisoned by the pollution on Earth.
- They gain their powers through the Earth, meaning that as the planet becomes more and more polluted, the more ill and weak their kind become.
- They, like all supernaturals, have two weaknesses. Citris and Iron.
- They are immortal, like some of the other supernaturals.
- All of the fairies left on Earth are all halflings or less, because the originals have gone to another dimension. The sickness on Earth became too great and they were forced to leave.
- They are the only kind of supernaturals that can be seen alone. Although they travel back and forth to their court where they gather with others of their kind.
- They can have only have children with mortals, like other immortal supernaturals.
- You can be turned into a fairy through magic, by another fairy, but the chances of this happening are rare. Most fairies are born that way.
- The fairy curse is known as the 'Curse of the Dust'. This means that fairies are poisoned by the pollution on Earth.
- The witches have the 'Curse of the Dead'. This means that they have to get their powers from the spirits of other dead witches.
- They can cast a spell for almost anything with exceptions. No raising the dead, no falling in love,
- They are weakened by their own spells and need time to recuperate.
- Unlike other supernaturals, they are mortal unless turned into another kind of supernatural.
- They can have children with any kind of supernatural, whether mortal or not.
- They are often found in covens, being stronger in groups, and they are usually at the place where their dead are buried.
- Unlike other supernaturals, if they have children with a mortal that child will not be considered a halfling.
- The witches have the 'Curse of the Dead'. This means that they have to get their powers from the spirits of other dead witches.
- Halflings are a creature of mixed species, whether its an Immortal and a Human or an Immortal and a Witch.
- Witches and Humans do not create Halfling, the would be considered Witches.
- The same goes for Halflings and Immortals, if they have a child with an Immortal then they too would be a Halfling even if they have the blood of another Immortal.
- They are weaker than their supernatural parent(s), but are also less affected by the weaknesses that fully-blooded creatures are bound by.
- They fit in better in the human world, or with their own kind but they often feel out of place around both. This means that they usually bond with other halflings, no matter the breed.
- They are the only kind of Immortal that can have children with any kind of Supernatural or Normal creature.
- Halflings are a creature of mixed species, whether its an Immortal and a Human or an Immortal and a Witch.
- Demons are creatures of darkness and pain. They enjoy anger and causing pain, using it to fuel their power.
- They live to destroy.
- They are more powerful than any other creature except for perhaps the Gods.
- They have been extinct for years but their forces are growing in the shadows.
- They cannot have children, and are immortal.
- They multiply by biting humans and turning them into Demons.
- Supernaturals and Halflings cannot be turned into Demons, giving them an advantage over Demons that Humans don't have.
- Demons are creatures of darkness and pain. They enjoy anger and causing pain, using it to fuel their power.
