I’m looking for 3-4 people to go on an adventure in an original pokemon region, the Eda Region. The Eda region differs from the other regions in pokemon, as trainers are encouraged to battle alongside their pokemon. The “Gotta Catch Em’ All” mentality is discouraged for trainers with small teams with intense bonds with their pokemon. Pokemon trainers are given Invoker Stones, special stones that the trainer can embed into certain weapons, clothing, and items to give them access to pokemon moves and abilities. The Eda Region is more violent than other regions and while the death of pokemon and trainers is rare, but it can happen.
A little about the Eda Region:
The League Trainer – The Trainer, who will be participating in the Pokemon League.
The Ranger – The law enforcer, who is going after the bad guys.
The Professor – The scientist, who wants to study the region and the pokemon.
The Fourth Role is a miscellaneous role in which you can be whatever type of person you want (although you can’t be evil or an epic trainer). All character will start off as friends who travel together, so keep that in mind when deciding who you are going to be.

A little about the Eda Region:
- There is a pokemon league with 8 Gyms, an Elite Four, and Champion. Just like any other region. Although rules of the Eda Pokemon League are a bit different than other regions.
- The minimum age in which one can join the pokemon league is 16.
- League battles are either 2vs2 or 3vs3 with the trainer counting as one of the participating fighters. For example, in 2vs2 matches the trainers will chose 1 pokemon to battle with.
- A league battle continues until one party surrenders or the trainer is no longer able to battle.
- Pokemon battles outside of league battles are No Holds Barred or rules decided upon by the trainers beforehand.
- There are four types of trainers recognized by the League:
- The Ace – An average Eda Trainer. The Ace has a party of 2-3 pokemon and uses 1-2 Invoker Stones.
- The Warrior – A specialist trainer. The Warrior only has 1 pokemon who they have an intense bond with. The Warriors also load themselves with Invoker Stones, holding the legal maximum of 4.
- The Collector – Usually trainers from other regions. The Collector has a full arsenal of 6 pokemon but do not use Invoker Stones. In league battles, the Collector can substitute themselves for one of their pokemon and the battle is over when both pokemon are fainted.
- The Mystic – The rarest of the trainers. The Mystic has special powers and can use special Invoker Stones without the use of a weapon; this gives them access to some Invoker Stones that other cannot use. However, The Mystic doesn’t catch pokemon but can make relationships with wild pokemon. In league battles, The Mystic will often ask assistance from wild pokemon and then return them to wild once the battle is over.
- The two most common weapons used by trainer are Invoker Blades (swords that can use most physical attacks) and Inovker Pistols (a gunlike weapon that can use most special attacks). There are different variations of Invoker Weapons and some can be quite rare.
- The Eda region has no original native pokemon, but it does have 3 original legendary pokemon that you may encounter on your journey.

- I will be playing the role of the almighty god character known as the GM.
- Write as much as you feel like. You don’t have to make a paragraph long reply.
- I encourage the four players to pick a different one of the four trainer types, but you don’t have to.
- You will start off with basic pokemon and no legendaries. Although you can have multiple pokemon to start if you want.
- For now, interested players should just post what roles they would like to play.
- An in-depth character sheet will be provided soon, as well as a more information on the region.
