You lay your child down to sleep and send her off with a little prayer. You close the door and smile because she's tucked away and off to dreamland. Not too long after a scream alerts you back to her bedroom where she's as close to the headboard as possible. Check under my bed, mommy! You let out a sigh but decide it's better to check for monsters under the bed then to deal with a sleepless night. You bend down and peer under the bed already knowing you won't find anything. As you become face level with the ground you notice a bright pair of red eyes locked with your own. You go to scream but the creature has you before a sound can leave your throat. The creature stands before the small child with blood trickling down it's mouth.
Monsters do exist.
A mass murder has erupted on the East Coast as several missing children's reports have flooded local police stations. In all cases there were no traces of break in and the parents were all found mutilated, usually in pieces near closets or beds. No leads and no evidence has stumped local authorities as they sweep over properties several times in hopes of finding something. But their search will yield no results as this threat is too old to be handled by modern means.

The Order Of Grimm
The Order of Grimm is an ancient order founded in the time when monsters terrorized all mortals. With the help of ancient magic they managed to bound the threat into nothing but mere stories and tales. Once the dark times had passed the Order disappeared into the shadows once more only to rise again when they were needed. With the recent kidnappings of several children and their mutilated parents, the Order has been called on once more to save the world from this evil.
The Order was started by Victor Gregorio Heresburg, born into a family of witch hunters. When the threat was at his highest he collected the most capable bodies and started the order to eliminate the threat. Each of his generation has both run and trained the newcomers for any threat that would dare disturb the natural order. The currently leader is Elizabeth Heresburg, a tough but honorable leader. When the reports of the missing children came across England she knew immediately what was happening. Now it's her turn to gather forces and take on these monstrous threats.

Although they are into reckless and savage killing there is a hierarchy among these beasts. There are the basic beasts such as goblins, or trolls, but then there's the Summons. The monsters who play the main threat in the stories weaved about them. The Big Bad Wolf, Boogieman, even Little Red is among those who have turned. Some creatures, although destined to be good have been pulled over to the dark side for one reason or another. Grimm's tales weren't stories of whimsical heroes but instead unfinished recordings of brutal murders.
Some have gone mad from what they've witnessed others have turned to the dark side because it's powers is too intoxicating. There numbers are growing everyday and it's up to the order and the willing participants to defend those who do not have the power to do so themselves.
