It started a long time ago. The world was equally spread out between many packs across the large land.

It all began with the Okeryn Empire, They began to expand, taking in packs that were not doing so well. Soon it was becoming a vast empire that began to take land by force. This forced other packs to begin joining together, keeping their boarders secure. It became so bad that the Tri-River pack began taking in refugees and expanded their territory in hopes of stopping the mass giant from gaining more land. The Celtic Territory also did the same thing, but they were not fighting, they were retreating away from the fight. They split their pack into two separate parts, one is unused the other is still used.

All (charted) unclaimed land belongs to the Okeryn Empire, even the land ordered by Peace Treaty's in order to keep population down.

A DMZ has been developed between Tri-River and Okeryn Empire, anyone wishing the cross may see their death, if they're spotted at least.

The world is still going on Okeryn Empire hated the Tri-River pack now, and the Okerians were attempting to assassinate the Tri-River alpha, but how to do so was the ultimate question...

The plan has been in the works for 5 years, and it was about to set sail. Just as the Okeryn Empire attempted to take control of Coastal Edge, to sway off any attention from the pack.

-----------------------------------------------------

The Okeryn leader looked up to the red and black wolf before him and smirked "To day's the day Arwyn." He stated and looked around to the council of wolves before them. The rain was beginning to pick up in the area, a lightning storm was approaching.

"What are you to do?" The leader questioned.

"Assassinate." Arwyn responded with a rather harsh voice. His golden eyes watching the leader.

"Assassinate... Who?"
"The Leader of the Tri-River pack!" He growled out and thunder ranged out above them, and wolves began to howl out around them, the leader and Arwyn joining last.

Two weeks later...

Arwyn sighed as he looked around, The grass was so green, flowers were freshly bloomed. Everything was nice, Kind if seemed nice to be like this way for once. Nothing evil, just a little bit of niceness to set the mood for him. Relax his muscles, release any tension in his body. He must be getting close to the pack by now. He was currently in the DMZ, acting as a refugee of Coastal Edge. He spent most of his time running back and forth along a bit of the border to wear himself out. At this point he is pretty worn out of himself, and he also hasn't had any water or food, so he was getting pretty hungry as well as getting dehydrated.

Someone would spot him eventually, and give him help. Let him be in the pack, trust him. He'll get to know the alpha, and then attack the Alpha when alone and get the Okeryn Empire to take control of Tri-River... That was the plan. But he didn't want to think of it for now. For now, he was just trying to cross the DMZ carefully.

Venus wasn't supposed to be out this far, in fact she wasn't meant to be away from the center of the pack at all. Though she'd caught wind of all the attacks from the Okeryn Empire, and had heard this area - a DMZ - was where most of the refugees would be arriving. It hadn't taken much for her to sneak out either, so why couldn't she go have a look for herself? As she climbed over one last rock, Venus spotted a red-colored wolf a little further ahead. The she-wolf didn't expect to actually see anyone else out here yet, or at all.

She jumped down and paced forward. "Hello?" Venus called out. "Do you need help?" The more she thought about it, the stranger this wolf seemed. In her pack, the Tri-River, Venus had never seen a wolf with red and black fur like this one. He also seemed to be pacing around for no apparent reason, all of which began to creep her out a little.

While the voice did surprise him, Arwyn only acted like he jumped a but and quickly turned around to face the wolf that was speaking up to him. A Tri-River wolf, perfect for him.. Now it's time for him to begin acting. "Uh.. Yeah.. My Pack.. The uh.. Coastal Edge Pack became overrun with Okeryn wolves." He spoke a little bit harshly, in a way that he was tired. "Was seeking refuge at Tri-River if I could." He finished off looking at the female that was talking to him.

Venus excitedly moved forward to the male wolf. Her blue eyes  scanned over the wolf, and he seemed stranger, though she did find his fur patterns intriguing. He seemed a little more tense than anyone she'd met, she even though he was nervous in a sense. But she threw away the though, accounting it to his probably traumatic experience with the Okeryn wolves. "Of course!" she beamed. Then her face fell, as reality hit her. "Well, actually I can't grant that. But the alpha can!"  Venus' ears perked up.

It crossed her mind that time must've taken it's toll and concern wove into her tone, "Oh, are you hurt? Do you need any food or water?" Venus made a full circle around the wolf scanning for any injuries. If she came across any, Venus would take it upon herself to clean it. It wasn't because she was a healer wolf or anything, she just couldn't stand to see someone hurt.

Arwyn watched her as she moved forward. Trying to keep his sense of nervousness higher than how he really felt. Was he nervous, yes. Obviously a start to a big mission to destroy this wolf's pack that was coming towards him.

As she spoke to him about the Alpha allowing him in, he felt just a little bit bad about that. Alpha trusts him to let him into the pack even though he probably shouldn't... Anyways, he heard her other questions and shook his head "No to being hurt... but I'd love some food and fresh water at this point..."

"There's a stream nearby. Follow me." Venus gave a warm smile, and began pouncing through the terrain.  She was certainly fast, but occassionally she would clip or rock and fall. It was in her clumsy nature, so Venus was used to it. In fact, she has quite a high pain tolerance which has developed over the years. Though, the trait hadn't seen any uses outside protection from her clumsiness.

It was only a short distance to the stream, due to the Tri-River pack's, well, rivers. There were three main ones as the name implied, but then there were many streams and lakes branching off from that. Venus, due to sneaking out had a large portion of the pack's territory mapped out and she definitely knew her way around - so locating a stream was easy. She ran over there, and drank a little of the water herself, it was clean and fresh like most of the water in this territory. "There might also be some prey around here. Considering the stream, you know." The wolf added after finishing her own gulp of water.  "If there isn't, or you can't hunt I'm sure the pack could spare a little bit of food. We'll head there soon, and hopefully the Alpha can give you some amnesty."

Arwyn soon began to follow her after raising an eyebrow at her, more cheery tone. It wasn't something he was used too. All this 'villainous' stuff compared to her happiness made it seem weird. He saw her trip and fall and then continue on like nothing happened. He shrugged at it simply just watching her, she was quite weird to him. Once they managed to get to the stream, he took a bit of a drink out of it. It felt refreshing to actually have a drink.

He looked over at her as she began to talk about prey and that sort of topic, and then continued about the pack sparing food. He shrugged lightly at the thought and stated. "Nahh. I wouldn't want to be a burden on the pack." He spoke, and was congratulating himself in his mind for selling off his role so well.

"You won't be!" Venus responded quickly, beaming once again. It seemed the wolf couldn't let herself not be happy. "Well, as long as you help us in return I suppose. If you stay a while, that is." She looked back over to the wolf, not exactly sure why he didn't seem more... traumatized? Scared? He had no idea who she was -- and she had no idea who he was. Though his demanour seemed to be calm for the most past. Venus shook it off, thinking it was just how he was; she didn't know any better.

"We can still hunt for something around here before heading to the Alpha, if you'd like." She suggested. It was only when she mentioned going to the Alpha this time that it struck Venus. What would he think? He'd never let her go out this far, or out at all really. She'd mainly worked with the healing wolves majority of her life, and the Alpha had basically forbidden her from leaving the pack. And she had been, and now Venus found another wolf and had already promised to take him to the Alpha. It wasn't her brightest moment.

Arwyn shrugged a little bit at most of her words. Sure he was hungry, but he just didn't seem like he wanted to really worry about dealing with the whole catching prey part. He looked at her once more and then asked "What is your name again?" He wasn't sure if she told him already, but he may as well ask to be on the safe side. Probably better that way anyways.

He thought for a moment about his name and then looked towards where he came from seeing if he can find anything from where they were before he turned his attention back to her once again.

If she were to be completely honest, she was somewhat let down by the situation. She was expecting to seem a lot more helpful and raise the spirits of whom she was saving, but this wolf was indifferent about almost all she spoke about. Nonetheless, she kept on trying to be as happy as possible. "Oh, I'm so stupid. Sorry I should've introduced myself. I'm Venus. And you?" When the red wolf has asked the question, she literally felt like the dumbest wolf. How could someone forget to ask for someone else's name upon introduction?

Venus followed his gaze, then quickly circled him after he looked back the way they came. "Are you okay? Is someone following you or something?"

Arwyn nodded to her name. He did a very light smile, Venus sounded like a lovely name. "Quite a lovely name, miss." He responded, sort of setting his tone more correctly, or at least attempting too. He was trying to seem a little more inviting at this point since she was trying to help, and he outta make a good impression to her if he wanted to be in the pack. "Who are your parents anyways? As in... what are their roles in the pack?" He asked ignoring her question about someone following him.

Venus smiled back to the wolf, but her tone went slightly more serious, "What is your name?" she asked again. His behavior seemed somewhat sporadic to her, but it didn't bother her, after all she wasn't sure what she was expecting. Venus coughed as if clearing her throat, "My parents?" she repeated in a curious tone. If she told him, he'd know that she was the daughter of the Alpha, but her gut told her that telling someone of her status in the pack wasn't the greatest idea. "No one special. They're quite busy though, due to all the fighting and stuff." Venus lied, her tone hardly wavering. She was a decent liar, though Venus chose to avoid doing it most of the time.

"What about your parents?" her tone softened, as Venus didn't know what had happened to the wolf's parents, and whether they were still alive. "What did they do?" she gave a comforting smile in case it was indeed a sensitive topic.

"Arwyn" He stated to her about his name. She questioned him about his parents after she explained to his, but was wondering if she was being honest or not. He shrugged at it and said "I don't really know." He looked around where they were for a moment before continuing "Haven't seem them since I left." He spoke looking down. He was telling the truth, he hasn't. Then again he wasn't to worried about it either because he would see them again soon. Hopefully anyways.
