It all began in January 1955. 10 months after the castle bravo nuclear test an object was detected by astrophysicist Michael Rednar. This object behaved strangely indicating signs of deceleration. Michael was quickly whisked away by a UN special council and put in a position to monitor the object, with all reports being scrubbed from public record. The Object would change direction and land in the Pacific Ocean promptly taking itself beneath the sea. A short few months later the United States would put the experimental USS nautilus in the water to investigate this new discovery, but as they got close enough to the vessel the nautilus was destroyed by what was identified to be an extraterrestrial craft.
This would result in a joint operation being launched By the US, UN, And Soviet Union, this operation would last longer than they would’ve liked taking upwards of two years, and costing them several thousand sailors and submariners, but eventually an experimental nuclear torpedo would connect with the craft and crack it in half. Salvage crafts would gather what they could with the bulk of the crafts remains sinking into a trench and becoming inaccessible for decades to come. The gathered debris would be brought back to The three factions and a new form of arms race would begin.
The technological boom would be mostly kept from the general populace, with a few creations here and there being leaked to the public. Yet the entire craft and all of the operations around it were top secret to the point of many world leaders being completely left in the dark. This would continue on to present day. However it would ensure that the cold war between the United States and the Soviet Union would be much more intense than the public would ever be aware. Clandestine agents would fight around the globe using reverse engineering alien technology. While this made the conflict more complicated, it also made it end more quickly with the Soviet Union falling in 1979.

New-Genesis
The breaking of the unidentified vessel would not go without its own effects. A strange substance leaked from the craft and would go on to permeate the sea life in the local area. The chemical seemed to need time to adapt to the physiology of whatever life-form it was found in, and as a result it would be a dormant but ever ticking genetic time bomb. Eventually this seemingly intelligent chemical was able to cause cross species contamination in the Pacific Ocean and in 1976 a fishermen’s vessel off of the coast of China was found to contain substance along with a mutated fishermen that would claim the lives of several first responders before being put down by local authorities. Thought to be a one off scenario this was not a case that was heavily scrutinized.
In 1978 another strange occurrence would strike this time in Australia. An entire pod of whales washed up on the northern coasts of Port Macquarie mangled beyond recognition. The town didn’t have to wait long to found out how as a mutated Giant crab would come on shore to find its prey. A four hour engagement with the Australian military would end with a British air raid bombing the beast to kill it. This too would be covered up, however efforts to formulate a plan to address the growing problem would begin after marine biologists reported a unknown substance as the cause.
Finally in 1983 a large mass of mutated seaweed would appear on japan and despite quick response by US military assets in the area, and the strange plant being burned it would unleash spores that would bring New-Genesis to land for good. The damage caused was blamed on terrorists using chemical weapons and a lie was constructed to cover up government involvement. Thus began the long war with the New-Genesis Mutations. Ocean-faring lifeforms, plants, and animals would begin springing up left and right all across the globe with military units built to respond, and propaganda campaigns that were successful in their efforts to instill fear and disdain for the mutated specimens.
In the year 2009 Scientists within the United Nations Anti-Genesis research team would discover the means to trace the chemical using satellites, where they would discover more than a third of the planet was already exposed wether mutated or not, and it was still spreading. They could not contain it and thus would begin a new solution to the problem. After five long years, they would find a way to synthesize a treatment for the mind altering effects in humans using the brain material of infected animals. This treatment was a one and done cure for the “rage” known as Serenity. One dose of this blue injection would reverse mutations on the brain that caused subjects to be more aggressive and unreasonable. Resulting in Mutated humans to gain control of their new capabilities granted by the New-Genesis chemical.

Operation Guardian Angel
By the start date of February 3rd 2014 Seven doses of The Serenity treatment were all that could be produced in time for the planned response. The United Nations would pull previously classified top agents from the Clandestine cold war to oversee the planned operation and Using captured Human mutants they would create a team called the guardian angels. These seven were mutated subjects whose mutations proved beneficial to their goals. For ten long years these subjects were trained, monitored, and educated on how to Combat the New-Genesis mutants and how to operate top secret Alientech. All the while being carefully monitored for psychological issues and trained in public relations.
The goal was drilled into each of them. To he a smiling face for mutants around the world, with the sole purpose of reassuring the public that the government was getting this under control, while the underlying mission was to exterminate as many Fauna based mutations as possible so as to allow for the production of more serenity treatments as the world was soon to be overwhelmed by the mutagen. In present day, the year 2024, they have been brought out to the public eye and are scheduled to begin field operations. Around 51% of polled people have already given positive responses. Thus the angels are ready to move forward.
