Rules to mention! Please read!

Please do not use Code for your CS unless you're 100% certain it works on mobile. I almost never use a computer, please make sure to use something mobile users can view. If you're unsure then stay on the safe side and post without code.

Keep this in mind please, the RP will start when a prison ship crashes on an island with a large town nearby. On the prison ship there are pirates, a small group of archeologists, some political prisoners and revolutionaries. In the city there are more pirates, drifters, bounty hunters and regular civilians. Point being, any character can be inserted into the story without stretching logic/reason. So do whatever you'd like and the fit should take care of itself! I have a good way to unify the crew as well, no matter the walk of life. So don't hold back in the CS!

You may add custom sections to your CS. As long as the stuff I put up is covered I don't mind extra stuff.

Age: 19

Race: Longleg Tribe

Height: 9’2”

Bounty: 0 Beli

c3515fac212dae7f6c55136e7feaa62a.jpg

Background: Victoria’s story begins in the North Blue at the New Hope Orphanage. Her memories from those days are hazy but they ended with the arrival of two men in black suits. Victoria was collected by the men who claimed to work for an organization known as Cipher Pol and transported via a Marine vessel to a small government outpost that would become her new home. For the next several years Victoria underwent rigorous conditioning of both her body and mind. Her physical training in the Rokushiki martial arts allowed her to exceed the limits of her body, while her mental training dulled any emotions that were unnecessary for being an assassin. Near the end of her training, Victoria was assigned to work with the agents of CP8 who gave her the nickname Vicky.

She began work as a spy and an assassin at the age of fifteen. Her powerful legs were compared to metal whips and she found the Rokushiki techniques that required leg strength easier to learn. Her success was driven by her strong sense of justice. She would continue her work for four years until she received a very special assignment. She was assigned to assassinate a child who had the ability to read the ancient poneglyphs. Cipher Pol made it very clear that this ability made the girl extremely dangerous. Vicky set off for her mission immediately. The little boy was hard to track because he frantically moved from island to island, but Vicky had trained for several years to be able to do this very thing. Within weeks she tracked down the child and set up an ambush for him. She planned to kill him painlessly in one fail swoop. The boy fell for her trap. She had cornered him and now all she had to do was execute the killing strike, but at that moment her entire body was tense. The feeling of remorse and regret that had been suppressed within her were welling up. How could she just kill this innocent child, and what exactly made him such a great threat. She needed to know the answer, so instead of killing the boy she instead fled the island with him in her care.

She began to teach the boy how to defend himself, and the boy in return taught her everything he knew about reading the ancient poneglyphs. They traveled together for two months building a connection akin to siblings. Unfortunately, their carefree days were not long for this world. The remaining members of CP8 eventually tracked down Vicky and the child. Vicky fought them with all her strength but was inevitably overwhelmed. The boy was captured and executed on the spot and Vicky was deemed defective and taken into custody. Had the agents known that she could now read the poneglyphs they would have taken her life as well, however that secret died with the boy.

Name: Anemone "Snake Switch*" Wick
Age: 18
Bounty:
WE2KmZe.jpg

FC:
ZCdCRGb.jpg
pPZy0gp.jpg

Markings: Arrow like Iris, Two snake tattoos,
Height: 6'4"
Background:
Born upon the Island of Amazon Lilly, an isolated island within the calm belt under the rule of the amazon warlord Boa Hancock. Her Mother, Boidae Wick had left the island as many of the tribe do in order to find a worthy partner and then return to the island to give birth, formerly been a member of the Empress's Crew before Hancock came to lead them had allowed her a good knowledge of seas. Despite this, she was still gone from the Island for nearly a decade before she would return and strangely she would never state the name of the man she had taken such time to find, instead of deflecting the question as unimportant. Upon her final return, she would then regain her position as Glorisoa's right hand so to speak and help in governing the Island during the empresses absences.

Anemone would be raised mostly communally, having occasional contact with her mother between commitments in the governing of the Island. She would be instilled from an early age with the Kuja core beliefs, that true beauty is a strength, with no place for the foolish or greedy. A social butterfly of sorts, Anemone would overall have a happy childhood, if slightly saddened by the lack of time available to spend with her mother. Trained as most were within the warrior culture, they would develop their skills between spars and the arena, If one more for style and technique over raw power. Outside of combat and the physical aspects, she would have a keen interest in the libraries of books brought back from each the empress's raids, basing her image of the world outside the island on a mixture of fact and fiction. It also inspired her to develop talents in tailoring due to several of the unique fashions and materials brought back on similar excursions.

Throughout there years, they would often dream of sailing out along the waters to explore the world outside the island, which was gradually seeming smaller and smaller. One Method they had set themselves on to do this was to join the Kuja Pirates under their empress Boa, often fascinated by tales of their adventures on the sea, the treasures they would return with and that they were all protected by her from the name alone. This longing for adventure would only grow over time, wishing one day to not only be able to stand at her side but maybe even go further and be one that would inspire others to do the same like many of the story's she would read.

Her opinion of her empress, however, would take a large hit during in her 6th year, on one of Hancocks return trips to the island. Having saved, adopted and raised a snow-white bunny during one of there hunting trips it would, unfortunately, jump free from there arms during the commotion and lining up to see her return. Unluckily it would come to cross Hancocks path and to her horror found itself Kicked well clear of the docks and off into the woods, screaming as she ran after it to see if it would be ok. It would take many years before it would be and continued to hop with a limp until its end, often found within the company of her snake Saleed who shared a strange friendship with the rabbit despite the fact most others would have simply eaten it.

By her 15th birthday, they had blossomed to a true beauty among there Island, on such a day they would receive a polished pink box from their mother. Despite its relatively small size it seemed to hold a great deal of weight to her, and not simply the physical kind. After staring at it for several minutes she would slowly open it they found inside a beautiful fruit, black as night but highlighted with many whits star swirls (Image) along with a small ruby pendant. She would tell her it was left by her father to be given when she came of age, confused by the fruit itself her mother would chuckle and say it was a rare gift to aid people on either a path to beauty or ruin and it was up to her to decide which it would be for her. It would not be until several hours later that they had thought on it that they would make their decision, sitting upon the cliffside of her favorite spot on the Island she placed it inside her mouth eating it in a single bite. The Taste was heavy and almost like mud as it seemed to drop straight to her stomach, the truth of its effects would soon become apparent.

Bestowed with a unusual power, they would come to incorporate this ability subtlety into both their fighting style and other areas of their life after much practice. It would take them several months to get the basics of the fruit, which had also involved accidentally sending items through the walls or above into the air...herself included at times, attempting to keep herself to Isolation as she trained at one of the abandoned outposts within the forest. It was clear through her mother knew precisely what had happened yet remained quiet as well, hiding behind a faint smile, though the increase in her success in the coliseum was fast becoming the talk of the village it would not be long before she would eventually draw the attention of the empress herself, claiming her annual visit would soon arrive. Anemone saw this as her chance to expand her horizons and see the world could she but gain the approval of her empress, while her opinion of her was not the same as most of her island, she knew it would be the only way she could leave, traveling with her self-proclaimed rival to grow upon the seas.

What was to come would be spoken about around all the Islands, and propel her to notoriety. Anemone would be present during her arrival, however the moment their eyes locked a battle would commence that would run for 3 hours straight as each would take turns doing poses with a small triad of words between them, this eventually devolved into a "Fight" upon the 3rd hour and summarily being crushed beneath the empresses strength, yet not through lack of trying. Every time she would be knocked to the ground, she would stand once more ready to continue and prove her worth, unfortunately at the end of it, Hancock would state her strength was nowhere close to being able to freely travel the grand line with her crew and that she should continue to live on the island, sending her flying off to the forest with a final kick.

Finding her only ticket from the Island a bust, she would sit at the same cliff-side was she initially ate her fruit, several wounds from the previous encounter keeping her there for a while, combined with several frustrated strikes to the ground. Not content with being trapped her life she eventually looked out with a determined glare in silence. It wasn't until some time later she exhaled and finally noticed a figure beside her, At nearly twice her size and nearly as wide, almost resembling a bear with strange mirrored lenses across there eyes. Dressed in a fashion unknown to the Island she would immediately know them to be out of place...she had known any woman like it in the close-knit community of Kuja. A Rigid but passive expression upon there face she would curiously begin to question the strange being, finding that despite there appearing to be very quiet and calm, keeping responses brief.

Though they would never mention who they are or why they were on the Island, they would never the less be there each day they returned. Eventually finding a confidant in talking about many of the things they were not able to with the others, dreams of the future and exploration, with the wanderlust she wished to sate. Probed and prodded this would develop over time, "she" would often extract a large purple book and reciting stories relevant, or query her views of several topics. It developed over time, her Dream would be to allow others the same sort of freedom she wanted and become someone like Hancock, but worthy and kinder for others to look to, Inspiring others to do the same like many of the Heroes in the tales she would read.

This developed further, with only small questions or pokes in the direction as they would converse, despite not knowing his name, she would have perhaps called themselves friends. A topic that would often arise however would be that of justice, particular one she could agree on, moral Justice...where one would define there own views on what would be counted as good or evil and strive to uphold there own Ideals as opposed to that of others. It would be over a year later, they had spent the time in talks, learning and training. The Individual would state it was time for them to depart soon, and it had been interesting to talk to such a person, in their calm and almost emotionless tone she had grown used to. As they rose to there feat he asked them a final question before there departure "Where would you like to go?", after several moments of thought with her head down, she would state somewhere she can begin her journey, to explore and see the sights of the world beyond the Island and learn more of the world and how it connected to what he told, perhaps even a place to gain the attention of others on the path. As she raised her head the last thing she recalled seeing was a pawed hand swipe towards them, before vanishing from the Island.

What followed would be a series of misadventures before landing her upon her final destination, including a misunderstanding with the Marine offices when she somehow took over a bounty poster office for several days straight in the production of her own poster, leaving several collapsed photographers with an expansive portfolio of images and headshots until they decided on the final one. Though to the outside observer, it would appear to be the terrorizing and torture of a marine base while holding them hostage to work like slaves without rest, an event that would leave several brave marines traumatized.

Markings:
There's a burn scar on her lower back.

Height: 5'3

Background: Anna doesn't remember anything from before she was 14. She woke up one day on the beach with a young woman standing over her with a worried expression. It wasn't just her memories missing, but also basic things about the world and even talking. The woman, who was called Jenny, took her in and taught her how things worked, telling her about the world and teaching her how to take care of herself. Anna sees Jenny as a big sister slash mother figure. As time passed Anna started having these flashes, something she thought to be memories. Flashes of being on a ship, a man smiling down at her as a pirate flag waved in the background, and the sound of laughter and songs. With it came a feeling of happiness, sadness, and longing. Shortly after her 16th birthday the pull became too strong, and Anna set out to try and find out what it all meant.

One Piece Pipe Dream: Regain her lost memories and find out where she came from.

Abilities:
- Navigational skills
- Self taught martial arts
- Improved strength

Weapons/Gear:
- Gauntlets
462px-Weapon_b_1040611200.png
- Supplies for navigating (compass, maps, paper and ink to draw her own maps)

Power: Tsuyo tsuyo no mi (strength fruit, can also be translated as energy fruit): This devil fruit allows Anna to absorb energy and turn it into strength. This counts for damage she takes (it doesn't nullify it), but also for things like sugar. The more energy she absorbs, the stronger she becomes. The effects disappear after an hour.

big-size-washed-bucket-hat-with-chin-cord-khaki-for-big-head-cp11hpanzth-1.jpg

Markings: One scar across right side of face, both feet dotted with small scars from being an idiot kid running about without shoes on.

Height: 5'10"

Background: Rojos Jack was born on Little Creek, located in the West Blue's back country, where nary stirs and life is insulated from much of the world's drama. A good place for most but not Jack who ran amuck through village and countryside alike with his older sis, avoiding the watchful eye of their grandmother Beth. Through petty adventures, fights with local kids and wild beasts the two trained daily to become the most powerful pirates on the sea! Of course granny didn't appreciate it, but she was old, unable to keep them in check... And who was she to talk anyway, being a retired pirate with a still active $80,000,000 beri bounty herself.

The latter point would prove the end of happy days though. Old bounties are still bounties, and a passing rear admiral, one with a penchant for absolute justice... Well that's checkmate, even for a retiree. After a short "battle" Beth was defeated and taken from Little Creek, leaving behind the kids who stood with tears welling, regretting the times they'd shorted and ignored Beth, heartbroken more than all to never see her again.

Not one to admit defeat, Charlotte (15) left Jack (11), to chase after the navy ship holding Beth, determined to rescue her at all costs. Of course the younger brother demanded he come too, but his best intentions were refused for his own safety. Instead, Charlotte would embark alone through stomy sea on a shanty craft with a grand mission, to rescue Beth and reunite the family...

But sadly, this was the last Rojos would see of his sister.

Left to his own by locals who viewed him as a pest, Rojos fell in with a rowdy band of thieving boys who worked over local merchants. Here he would meet his best friend (and current cell mate) Jasper. He'd also learn how to lead, as his uncanny strength made him the obvious leader of the band of brotherless brothers.

Life went for a time with the status quo unchanging and with eight years in the rear view Rojos and loyal Jasper departed, desiring change and seeking the road to their dreams. They would leave the island on a small sailboat as Charlotte had before, harboring dreams of world renown and visions of being, dare say it... Pirate Kings!

Over the next month the two made a name quick, taking on a notorious pirate crew and a strong marine captain, earning Rojos a 8,000,000 bounty and Jasper a 4,500,000 bounty as they looked for crew mates in West Blue ports, failing to because of their age, small ship and inexperience. Not to be dissuaded the continued their search for a time until an unexpected interruption took priority.

A valuable mark it was, passed on by a friendly pirate crew. Rumor said marines'd found a Devil Fruit, a strong one supposedly, and that it was held on ice for a vice admiral stuck in transit from the grand line. What made it better was the location. A nearby island with a weak and backwater marine base, one that could be overwhelmed easily enough.

Jack's interest was piqued. Knowing a power's value he set course for the island. Making their move immediately after landfall J&J charged head on into the base like morons, fighting through a hundred marines and to the command room where the resident captain brandished his blade, ready for a fight.

After a brief tussle, the marine captain lay smoldering with head knots forming and rummaging about the pair Doon found what they sought. A small wood crate holding the fruit, ready for Jack to eat! All is great, 10/10, fantastic and mission accomplished!

Wait what's that?

Oh... The Vice Admiral that'd staked claim on the power was there in the knick of time to deliver an ass beating. He was a familiar man too, the same one who'd captured Beth eight years prior, and as with Beth he delivered the almighty smack down to Jack and Jasper with a beet red face, furious to see his devil fruit power in the hands of an upstart pipsqueek pirate.

Locked up after their attack's success and subsequent failure, Rojos and Jasper were thrown into a prison ship. Destination? The White Steppes, the West Blue's most infamous prison....

However, the winds of fate intervene.

One Piece Pipe Dream: To form the strongest pirate crew in the history of pirating and become the Pirate Kings him and his crew included.

To find that asshole Vice Admiral and give him a beat down.

To find Charlotte in the Grand Line, some drifters say she works for the revolutionaries, others say the government. No one knows, it's been a long time since she crossed into the grand line, never heard from since. Rojos us certain she lives still, but has no evidence.

Abilities
  1. Superior Strength (One piece style)
  2. Fast and dexterous
  3. A stable swordsman (not his focus, uses it because it's efficient)
  4. Loose and unpredictable fighting style incorporating varied kicks, punch combinations and dodgy moves designed to mislead the enemy.
  5. Good at improvising/adapting in combat
  6. Lucky 😉
Weapons/Gear
  1. Behold my photoshop skill! A straight blade Sabre carried on the back. Held in place by a sling going across the chest and around to the back. The scabbard is black.
Picture_20190911_181329835.png
Power: "Press Press Fruit". Jack is a compression man that can compress things his body contacts. Furthermore he can compress his body to a small extent. He can also release compression to create devastating outbursts of energy. The more he compresses, the bigger the damage. This power can also propel him around (compressing near feet/hands then releasing for speed burst) or even armor (compressing the air around the arm to form a solid air layer). He can make projectiles, weapons from compressed matter etc. There are many utilities for the power, with several advanced stages in the future. However, seeing that the fruit was eaten a week before the start of the RP he's far from an expert and has only a basic understanding of the ability with poor control (pitiable because this fruit requires high control for upper abilities)

Name: Zia "Cottonheart" Zapik

Age: 23

Bounty: 200,000

Height: 6'6

Background: (In the beginning I was born, I kid... As much or little as needed to tell the story you'd like to tell) After being set off to sea by her enslaved mother she washed up on an island often dubbed Orphan Island. It was an island full of children of every race and age, taken care of by two wonderful people simply called Mother and Father by most children there. Zia was one of the few who didn't end up adopted, becoming one of the older siblings there. Things were pretty peaceful until a pirate crew attacked her home for a reason she honestly doesn't know. Zia fought ferociously against the Pirates, defending Orphan Island from the Pirates. Turns out years of wrangling rowdy children, especially those of the non-human variety gave Zia the skills to easily take out the Pirates. Zia after that encounter decided she would become a bounty hunter. She had always wanted ot help after all, and rounding up the Scum of the sea was a great way to do just that!

So Zia spent a few years bounty hunting. Eventually she earned the alias Cottonheart from the fact she managed to deliver almost every bounty without a scratch and was one of the most fiercely kind bounty hunters around. Everything was fine until she saw some marines punishing a small child for stealing something. They were going to punish her even though the child looked barely 5 and half starved. Normally this would have ended well, for one party or another, but no that night happened to be the night of the full moon. Normally Zia was good at avoiding the sight of the moon, but in her anger she completely forgot. And a mink in their sulong form with their final thoughts before that being anger at marines? It was a bloodbath. However once the moon set Zia was easily captured, ending up on the prison ship she's on now.

Name: Kasamaru

Markings: Kasamaru has an elaborate cloud tattoo across the entirety of his back, yakuza-style. This was his home village's way of branding him as the Rain Human.

Height: 5'11"

Add. Notes: His unique laugh is "Kara-kusu-kusu".

Background: I was just a boy then, but it feels like yesterday.

A great drought had struck our island; with no water to grow crops, we were overtaken by famine. People starved in the streets, and my father- an umbrella maker himself- could bring us no wealth with which to buy what little grain the merchant ships brought. We died by inches- mother took to filling her belly with clay, and father shut himself in his workshop. I remember being angry, frightened- I asked my brother why the rain god had forsaken us, and he could give no answer.

I traveled to the rain god's shrine, but not to pray. No, I used what little strength I had to smash the doors of our town's small shrine apart, a last act of defiance. And what do you think I found inside? No money. No statue. Only a single offering lay within the shrine: A curious-looking fruit, easily the size of my head.

It was the most disgusting thing I had ever tasted, but I ate it all and shouted defiance to the heavens, demanding rain.

The great rains came within the week, and we cheered and sang and threw a great festival where we offered up what little we could give in thanks to the rain god.

But the storm did not cease. It only grew stronger with each passing day.

Famine became feast. Floods washed away our village, and when father learned what I had done he told me it was divine punishment for my wrongdoings and cast me out into the street, shouting that I was no son of his. I was marked across my back and told to never return, and the people of my hometown cast stones upon me as I fled.

Since then I have wandered, plying my trade, never staying in one place for very long. I bring disaster in my wake, and when I am set apart the storm leaves with me. I can no longer recall what it feels like to be dry.

Will no one free me from this curse?

One Piece Pipe Dream: To find a dry place the storm cannot reach.

Abilities:
Umbrella Craftsmanship: Kasamaru remains professional umbrella craftsman even after becoming a filthy hobo and may very well be the world's foremost expert in waterproofing and umbrella technology, skills honed over the course of his many travels and storied career.

Battle Prowess: Kasamaru is a competent swordsman and marksman with abilities honed from years of random people trying to kill him. He's not a master of arms or anything, but it's enough to hold his own against most.

Slippery When Wet: Kasamaru has been perpetually wet for nearly 30 years, so it's no surprise to anyone that he'd be extremely skilled at the hazards that come with such a condition. Slick or muddy terrain, waist-deep flooding- such trifles make no difference at all to Kasamaru.

Weapons/Gear:
Waterproof Kimono: Made of special water-resistant fibers, the insides of this kimono stay dry in the wettest of weather.

Umbrellas: Kasamaru always carries several other examples of his work on his person. Each is a masterwork on the cutting edge of of umbrella technology; their balance and resilience also allow them to double as excellent bludgeons in a pinch. Many of Kasamaru's personal stock incorporate hidden weaponry or gimmicks, most commonly achieved through the incorporation of various Dials he has come across throughout his journeys.

Power: Bisho Bisho No Mi: The Bisho Bisho No Mi makes the user into a Rain Human, giving them the ability to talk to clouds. Clouds, as it turns out, are incredibly bored and lonely, and will follow Rain Humans in search of entertainment. As a result, the Rain Human is endlessly pursued by a massive storm system. Precipitation can range from a light drizzle to a full-blown torrential downpour, but it is always present in some capacity.

Role on ship: Janitor
Age: 32
Sex: Male
Height/weight: 6' 2"/210 lbs
Weapons/gear: Steel Handled Mop, highly durable garbage bin lid, toxic cleaning supplies, a keyring full of extra sharp keys.
Skills-
1. Knows the ins and outs of Mariejois
2. Nimble and efficient with staff-like weapons
3. Knows the deadliest combinations of chemicals
4. High Stamina and laser focused
5. Not too shabby when it comes to taking out the trash
Observation Haki Inclined
Add. Note: The word "Spotless" precedes most of his attacks.

Small bio: He's originally from the Red Line, having served as a janitor passed between the World Government and the Nobles. Considered the best in his trade, an unfortunate attack ended up with him falling into the Grand Line and being presumed dead. He was picked up by a pirate ship disguised as tourist's vessel, ultimately spending most of his time leaving a bunch of pirate crews one after the other. If the Navy ever found him like that, his life is pretty much over. Over time with a variety of pirates, Dan has learned all about the kinds of messes that can be made at sea, and how to clean every single one of them up. But none so more than the mess he left at Mariejois, with the disgusting World Nobles and inconsiderate government. Slavery, deceit, corruption; all left behind on that narrow strip of land. Coming to regret the decades he spent cleaning up after them, he concocted a new dream in his head.

Unfortunately, his true identity as an official pirate was made well known to the Navy after a fateful encounter. One of his more recent crews was being raided by an admiral since they had been on a spree of stealing explicitly from government ships for months. Once onboard, the admiral ended up slipping in a puddle of water on the deck, since Dan neglected to put up a wet floor sign. Naively, Dan was not hidden and was made the personal enemy of that navy fleet, and he was no longer declared dead. He was captured, whilst his crew got away, not bothering to provide any attempt at saving, or showing remorse for him. And the Navy was certain Mariejois would relish having their best janitor back after all this time, though kept on a tighter leash.

Just another repeat of the cycle in the end; Dan was just the ship janitor and nothing else. Whatever happened to him was of no concern to the crew, all that mattered was if the ship was spotless or not. It was basically the same as his days in Mariejois; he realizes that now. Sitting in the transport on his way to prison, Dan hopes for a crew that recognizes his talents and will take him back to the Red Line, to clean up the mess he missed.

One Piece Pipe Dream: Making the world spotless of corruption and Mariejois' tyrannical rule

Bounty: 12,000,000

To go with his jet black, complex "regent" pompadour, Riki favors an outfit typically associated with youth delinquents and flying fish riders rather than high seas pirate fashions. He can usually be seen wearing a white long coat with black trims and no shirt on, with white cargo pants bound with matching cloth just below the knees for a ballooning effect and white tabi for footwear. Accessory-wise he sports jolly roger badges on the outside of his coat's collar, a simple smiley over crossed forearms with clenched fists for crossbones, and wears one for a belt buckle as well, while his midsection is wrapped with a sarashi.

Standing at 6'6'' and weighing a considerable (if relatively lean for his size) 230 pounds, Anjo is quite the physical specimen, gifted with a stupendously well developed, markedly muscular frame. He sports an enviable "inverted triangle" upper body, with a slimmer core and waist leading to a broad chest and shoulders, arms like pythons with an ape-like 84 inches of reach, powerful bull-like legs and a log for a neck. Covered in scars and conditioning marks all over, other noticeable traits are his cauliflower ears and long, prominently masculine chin.

Markings: Waterproofed pompadour, various scars and marks of conditioning

Height: 6'6''

Background:
Riki Anjo grew up craving more than what life had given him. The son of humble fishermen from West Blue, exposed to a life of hard work and even great risk for little reward from his earliest days, he developed with a major chip on his shoulder about what his options in life were. He always wanted to be someone, to make it big, to live a life full of excitement. Alas, he despised both Marines and Pirates for their verticalist and stifling structures and constant abuse of power, and especially resented needing to sign up with either to live how he wanted. His frustrations led him to a life of juvenile delinquency, disregarding all authority and always getting into fights, where his size and physical gifts soon afforded him a high position amongst his peers. In this niche he was essentially content.

All attempts at discipline failed and the kid looked more and more like a lost cause, until the arrival of Big Hama. Hama had once been a well regarded wrestler across all seas, a wandering warrior who was rumored to have conquered champions of the famed Dresrossa Colisseum, but a desire to keep a low profile that bordered on the pathological meant he was only known by experts in the field before a string of severe injuries forced him to retire. Not one to call it quits, he became a respected freelance instructor with a school sporting his name established in South Blue's Karate Island, ocassionally even asked to work with Marines and other World Government agents, though he much preferred venturing out to spread his teachings to any worthy student he could find.

Not aware of who the one eyed old man was, then 18 year old Riki picked a fight with him and was promptly beaten to a pulp. Hama, however, was impressed with the youth's constitution and spirit and forcibly took him in as a student. The following three years of tutelage were beyond brutal, but decidedly effective. It was one long test of will and toughness, a trial by fire meant to forge boys into powerful men, and Riki was everything the wrestler desired in a student: an unbreakable little savage that valued a fistfight above all else and backed away from nothing. In just three years Hama somewhat managed to straighten out the problem child, teaching him discipline and giving him a focus and goal for his boundless energy, and in just three years Riki became an incredible fighter.

Of course, there's no guarantee that teaching a delinquent martial arts will truly reform them. Especially not when the teachings focus less on "martial virtues" and "personal development" and more on being the best fighter, getting yours and never taking crap from anyone that can't hang with you. So arguably the end result was worse, as Riki was now a disciplined, driven, committed and very skilled hyperviolent ne'er-do-well. One who now had the means and confidence to fulfill his lifelong dream: setting out to sea and making a name for himself by beating the tar out of any pirate or marine trying to get in his way.

One Piece Pipe Dream: To beat the world's pirates at their own game, to kick an Admiral's ass, to go down as a legend and create a place where all outsiders can belong

Abilities:
-Incredibly proficient in fighting using a style based around a mix of brawling and professional wrestling
-Incredibly tough, built for tanking hits and giving back
-Enormously strong
-Just an outstanding physical specimen all around
-Reckless but very capable flying fish rider
-Surprisingly solid at carpentry, ropework, mechanical work, sewing, stitching, general handyman

Weapons/Gear:
-Flying Fish "Nina Mona": A domesticated flying fish about the size of a dolphin used as a form of personal transportation typically by less than reputable sorts, sporting a two-person seat, pedals and handlebars for control and generally being a cross between a mount and a motorcycle. They can leap clear into the air and are capable of sustained flight, as they can stay outside water for about five minutes with no problems, but their main asset is a speed matched only by merfolk while in the sea. They're also capable of submerging, of course, and the seat comes with a breathing mask for the rider. Nina Mona has a special link with Riki, she obeys his commands but is quite capable of independent thought and action, aiding him and having a special ability to always find him.

Markings: General bruises/scrapes from clumsy stunts or working; calloused hands

Height: 5’11”

Background: Irise had rather wealthy parents in a small, unknown seashore town. One could even classify it as a large village. His parents worked as carpenters for the town, leading building projects and helping their neighbors with what needed to be fixed. They travelled often for foreign work, with Irise often joining them to learn from both observation and participation. He was, after all, aiming to take over the business. His family even ran to the aid of deserving pirates and solo-sailors. Sometimes, the marines asked for a helping hand, as Irise’s family was well known for their skills.

Unfortunately, and not seemingly out of nowhere, the countries on their island grew victim to war.

Irise’s country battled for years; however, a small, unimportant nation like his could never last against the unrestrained brutality of the strong. When he turned 12, news of foreign attacks and civilian deaths hit their town. Everyone knew this weak village could never last.

The option of evacuation was cut off early on—the winning country and its alliances made sure of it.

Pirates, on the other hand, gleefully ignored such a state of affairs. One crew anchored themselves here, and Irise’s parents knew what to do next. With all the money and persuasion they had, they bought their way onto the ship. A few townsfolk—family friends—and Irise’s family were welcome aboard.

Irise waited on the ship as his parents rounded up their belongings and informed the others of the escape. He stared at the town, off in the distance, his worries almost melting away—everything would be okay for them. They’ll start anew. Sure, they might be in debt to these pirates (the greedy bastards, adding payments on top of the initial one), but they’re safe! They’re-

BOOM.

He stared at the town, off in the distance. Fires, screaming, explosions warped his vision. He stared at the town—from what he could see, buildings fell, and more fires bloomed, like growing flowers of death, across the village. His town, which was off in the distance, growing farther as the ship sailed away. The pirates refused to wait. Who would after witnessing such a violent surprise attack? He wept for everything that was lost, and he wept for his newfound independence.

Irise grew up learning the ropes of ship care and the ways of pirate life. He snuck from crew to crew, offering his skills as a bargaining chip, and staying until the next few islands before jumping onto another boat. He always tried to stay undetected, as he never wanted too much attention. Raiding innocents and acting unnecessarily violent was, in his eyes, pointless. Irise understood how to fight for himself, though, and made an effort to let others know.

After begrudgingly watching his bounty rise, and after curiously taking a bite of what he didn’t know was a devil’s fruit, Irise decided to end his boat-hopping career and seek solstice on an island in west blue. And not because his last crew was hunting him down for eating that fruit, or anything.

If his last crew was hunting him down, and the marines were there on that day, and just so happened to catch said crew, conveniently unaware of his role on their ship…well, Irise doesn’t know anything about it.

With such a small bounty, Irise’s presence went mostly unnoticed. He got a few comments—“don’t I know you from somewhere?”—but, generally, he never made much of a ripple here. Luckily, the island is large enough to accommodate for all trades, including shipwrights. Irise, after totally not begging for an interview because he’s homeless and moneyless, spent his days here at a shipwright company.

PERSONALITY: Irise is kind of an asshole. He had to learn how to talk sweetly to others to get what he wants, and to stay far away from friendship. He can be clever and weasel out of a lot of situations—he has a quick tongue and quicker actions. Irise often acts dumber than he really is, which was a tactic he used to get people to underestimate him. Sometimes, his irritable nature gets the best of him, and his act becomes a little questionable.

Bubbly! He often exaggerates any clumsiness or idiocy. You know he’s comfortable when he lets a few biting remarks slip.

Sometimes his personality peeks through—whether its from a quick fit of anger or a sudden panic. It’s difficult to keep up a façade, so he isn’t always goofy.

One Piece Pipe Dream: Oddly enough, to live on the seas, but this time on his own terms.

Abilities: He knows how to handle his own in a regular fight (fists, knives, etc.)

Weapons/Gear: A stupidly heavy toolbox that he whacks people with; the tools in that toolbox. Beware of his wrenches.

Power: Puff Puff Fruit

He uses air to create a lot of force, which makes it seem like super strength (when he hits someone, he adds more oomph with a shot of air), if you don’t know his power. It's just propelling, but he can use it to bounce off of things (he can “jump” in the air, but it’s actually just him propelling air and making it seem like he’s jumping; if he falls, a quick puff of air underneath him can lessen the damage a bit).

It can be used at a distance (like to push a pencil off of a desk) but it gets weaker + less precise. pushing the pencil off of a desk across the room would affect a lot of other things in the room (other desks' pencils, girls' skirts, etc.).

This can eat up his stamina easily because he's always moving around.

Height: 5'11"

Background:
Born on a small island in the East Blue she was the only child of a Marine captain who planned to make her carry on his legacy of service to the World Government. While she showed great potential early on, she eventually hit a wall due to a lack of motivation. This was due to her discovering the concept of bounty hunters, a job that offered much more freedom and a higher potential payout than a career with the marines. When she finally turned 18, instead of following her father's dream she instead set out for what she saw as an easier lifestyle. What then followed was a life of traveling, fighting, and seeking out the type of location she dreamed of. Interestingly enough though, she was always careful to avoid noteworthy bounties to keep from making a name for herself. This anonymity was a key factor in keeping her job easy as it kept the small fries she preferred to hunt from fleeing. Of course, even with the best attempts at keeping a low profile, it's hard to keep from being noticed forever and eventually she felt the need to travel to the West Blue to escape any potential fame she was building as well as her father.

One Piece Pipe Dream: To eat the world's greatest parfait while enjoying the world's greatest view.

Abilities:
Skillful swordsmanship - Originally trained in the same style used by the marines, she has since modified it based on her experiences.
Absurd physical ability - Due to her early training, or possibly due to being some sort of unnatural freak of nature, she's far more powerful than her frame suggests.
Maritime knowledge - Despite her apathy towards most things involving the career her father had chosen for her, she actually retained most of the information and skills taught to her about running a ship.

Weapons/Gear:
Ichigo Hitofuri - One of the 50 skillful grade swords, it is said that it was the first and last sword made by the blacksmith. At some point a previous owner, likely unaware of the sword's nature, had it shortened and given a D guard. While Beatrix is just as unaware of the sword's history as the previous owner, people more knowledgeable on the subject could easily identify it once drawn.

Bounty Book - A simple collection of wanted posters that she keeps as up to date as possible.

Age: 19

FC: Changed to meet the demands of certain persons I am not at liberty to mention here

Height: 5'4"

Background:
Paulie was the prettiest girl in town for as long as she can remember. Sure, there were other girls, but they were just regular cute- Paulie was adorable, and she knew it. From the age of six onwards, Paulie never wanted for anything or really had to develop life skills at all. There was just... Always someone who would do it for her. Life was sweet, until a pack of pirates calling themselves the Brotherhood Of The Coast ran across her island, raping the fields and salting the women. Naturally, as the prettiest and most inept girl in her village, Paulie was among those kidnapped as ransom, food, or possibly wives, the Brotherhood weren't big on planning.

About a week later, the Brotherhood ran across a Marine patrol and were thoroughly and unilaterally trounced. Paulie and her fellow prisoners were freed from their cells by the captain as the pirate's ship sank beneath the waves, personally pulling each and every captive from the mortal danger that was the flooding brig. As he carried Paulie to safety, only one thought lay on her mind: "If I had one of these guys under me, I could do whatever I pleased!"

She joined the Marines a week later.

One Piece Pipe Dream: To catch dastardly criminal mastermind Ray Spray before his mad designs bring the entire world to it's knees.

Abilities:
Charming - Paulie's cute, but she's more than just cute. She's got charm and pizazz and panache and style all those other things people use to describe someone who practically oozes raw personality. She's not just a pretty face, she's got charisma, the kind that goes beyond things like species, gender, and social standings. And really, who needs to fight or sail or file a warrant when you can get someone else to do it for you?

Infinite Cleavage: Paulie's gigantic, cartoonishly large hooters that she is required to have in order to signify she is above the age of eight years old also serve as a handy place to hide any number of objects that she can retrieve at any time. Their storage capacity is, apparently, limitless.

Strong Swimmer: As expected from a sailor, Paulie's just... pretty good at swimming.

Born Lucky: Paulie was born under a star of fortune, and things have been turning her way ever since. Her hair is always perfect, birds never poop on her, and if she had a nickle for every time she found a nickle, well, she'd be twice as rich. Things just work out for her, if never by any sort of conscious effort on her part. Pots conveniently fall on people, she trips at just the right moment to duck a bullet, and generally things just have a way of working themselves out.

Full Name:
Yahno Bohan
Alias:
Detonation/Bomb man/Tribal Bomber
Gender:
Male
Age:
23
Race:
human.

Island From:
Beast Island.
A wide range of exotic animals and beasts roam this island. The humans there while somewhat "tribal" have grown strong enough to hunt these dangerous and tasty beasts with their primitive weapons and their own fists.
(From whatever blue sea we start in)

Appearance:
SmokingBear.jpg
Standing at 5ft10 Yahno is a tanned skinned dark haired with many tribal tattoos. <black instead of red>
Like most in the one piece world despite his lean wire like build yahno is somewhat beastly with his strength and speed.
Biography:
Born and raised on beast island. It was a brutal life to lead but Yahno to be one of the greatest hunters of the tribe. At age ten he ate a odd coloured melon. One bite really, but that changed everything for the kid.
When pirates attacked, Yahno led the warriors of the island at age sixteen to fight back against the invaders. With a brutal swift victory... Yahno then took command of the surviving pirates and a few tribals who would follow to sail into the seas.

Yahno was a terrible captain only good at killing and cooking, he had no goals for others to follow, and he knew nothing about a boat or a ship.
It didn't take long for the Bo-Bomb pirates to be disbanded, from there Yah has been hired by navy and pirates alike for his skill in taking down a target. Only two pirates have ever escaped his blade or boom. At age twenty three he is a famous bounty hunter and has learned some of the basics of sailing from necessity and being the passenger on many a ship.
Likes:
Hunting, fighting, eating, women, drugs/alcohol, training (physically or target practice.

Dislikes:
The sea.
Finding his way,
Having a active role on a naval vessel.
Jerks who talk down on others but shit themselves when the tables have turned.

Aspirations/Goals:
Hunt great monsters, be world renown as the best hunter, have fun and see different places and try new things.

Position:
Bounty Hunter turned Sniper/saboteur.

Abilities/Skills:
Bomb-bomb fruit-- he is a bomb man, able to produce explosions of various kinds with any part of his body. Saliva, hair, dead skin..

Super human-- life as a tribal fighting beasts has resulted in Ash having the "usual" one piece strength and speed.

Accuracy-- Ash can throw a spear or boomerang like a sniper can shoot a bullet.

Self taught sadism-- no formal training of any sort, Yah causes damage relying on speed and strength rather then skill when in melee combat. His boomerangs make for decent hand held weapons but only his largest rang can substitute for a sword.

Strengths:
Fighting, projectile weapons, can cook decently. Hunting tracking animals, tracking humans or following directions is harder.
Weaknesses:
Cannot swim, knows very little about the world beyond combat, hunting, and cooking. Easy to distract, not great with directions. Not savvy with sailing terms. Always a fighter never a sailor. Will drink or smoke whenever possible.

Weapons/Equipment:
Boomerangs of varying sizes.
Dagger, three spears, blow-pipe. Darts.
Actual pipe.

Haki--
I'd like to say he is capable of all three but observational seems more in tune for a hunter sort.
Other:
Has almost drowned, like five times maybe.

If one went far back enough, they'd find themselves on Charybdis Island; A large plain with a village, and a city that was once affiliated with the marines. Outside the village perimeter was lively green forestry barring it from the city, the very surrounding filled with wildlife. Alice didn't grow up in either of those places though, a more feral environment filled with solitude, uncertainty, and freedom. Deep in the woods just behind the village, there was a well built amalgamation of shacks. The wooden structures were clearly aged, and despite the colors occasionally fresh upon it, even the love and care put into the many brush strokes couldn't save the visible cracks, and audible creaks. This thing sat centered in a circle provided by the scenery itself, a nearby stream, and a lovely garden telling a beautiful story. Funny enough, the owner of this shack died years ago; its function normally preserved by Alice herself, and just before she turned five, a handful of trusted villagers including an old man who insisted in taking care of the young girl back then.

Alice's legal guardian was a house-sized turtle with trees and such growing on its shell. It could talk, and had been on the island for decades from what the little girl gathered. Turned out this magnificent creature was responsible for her as a baby, but unknown to her it held a treasure trove of secrets, a few of these already pieced together, or learned by the villagers whom spent their time out there. In fact, among those secrets is the turtle's true identity, Alice just called it Tazuna however, and decided it should be a "him" from the gruff voice, and attitude. She seriously exhausted her time with the turtle hermit, hearing his stories, running around the woods, learning basic language, arithmetic, history, and even picking up some habits along the way.

Seventeenth birthday successfully gone off, Alice had been hanging around the village a lot more since she turned fifteen. Heck, she even checked out the city once, getting a passing glance at a few buildings due to the nature of her trip, but she enjoyed the sights nonetheless, meeting much issues aside from the rare noble encounter. After the celebration within the human-filled compound she sought out her guardian to hangout as usual. Instead, she was met with a cruel heart-holding sight; Tazuna holding the unconscious form of a man, with more bodies littered around him. Afraid of what she saw, she managed to swallow it over the undeniable bond they shared, settling for confronting him. Forced into an odd position, the old hermit surrendered, informing the young-in of not only the situation, but the true state of the island, along with the hidden details of his stories thinking she was prepared anyway.

Many changes had underwent the inseparable duo of hermits, one Alice Jane gradually stirring trouble with the authorities in place of her pessimistic, peace-seeking guardian. Ever since meeting Tazuna with those badly beaten pirates, she'd been taking the blame for any other fools attacking them, in addition to personally dealing with the marines. Tazuna had given her a devil fruit that he had stored in the cabin, her time practicing with it cutting into her village visits. She'd grew far more wary with its power, the old creature making a point with his many stories.

Eventually she met an unfavorable circumstance at the hands of the marines, said organization getting confirmed word of a sea-faring legend in their midst, and ripe for the picking. Men in white swarmed the suspected area of the woods aiming to put an end to the legend once and for all, when an especially annoyed Alice emerged in its place. The grown-up mistress put a mismatched lid on the jar of worms, most of the incident bordering a gory blur as she gave into unseen blood-lust.

One Piece Pipe Dream: Locate the land of talking animals; the country of Zou!

To bring physical memories back to Tazuna regarding her adventures on the sea!

Abilities:
Quick Medic! - She can tend to most wounds that fall just below a bad scrape.
Just Dodge. - Before she got the fruit, she was put into battles with intruders all the time under Tazuna's watch. He gave her the talent to dodge, giving everyone hell, and further stretching her lazy persona onto her approach to battle.
Close-Combat! - She can hold her own under the pressures of battle, whether alone, outnumbered, or in tandem with others. Note that she doesn't have an honor code, nor a particular style of fighting. However she does have habits, and preferences.
Another Day - Remaining calm in especially dire situations, and using her head is a given.

Weapons/Gear:

Personal Journal; A brown hardback book complete with a strap, and a pen.
A red bandanna tied onto her right shoulder showing a jolly roger looking like its in pain and anguish with fumes coming from its eyes, and mouth.

Power: Tori Tori no Mi, Model: umbretta. This zoan-type devil fruit lets the user transform into an umbretta hybrid and a large full umbretta at will. Her knowledge of the fruit is limited by her whims, her speed and power severely increasing the only thing she really keeps track of. True flight, a rare thing in the world of One Piece.

Yes among all the junk cast aside by ships of all sizes and shapes, the wreckage that come in from all manners of vessel, and whatever else is dumped, there is quite a sizable population of individuals who inhabit the island. The denizens of the island were constantly at war with each other over who gets control of the best scraps. Trash N. Crash was one of the many roughneck kids who was trying to get a piece of the pie.

And get a piece of the pie he did when he was inducted as a member of a Bandit Gang known as the Spectre Spitefires. Here he learned the influential lessons of how cool machines were, how to snag choice parts, how to jump suckers and many other important lessons. Here with the Spectre Spitefires, Trash began to make a name for himself as he proved to be better than his peers at fixing a wrench. The leader of the gang didn’t like being upstage and promptly had his gang beat him an inch from his life.

But they were fools! As Trash N. Crash was surrounded by junk! Perfectly malleable and usable junk. This served as the paint in which he would construct a new canvas, ie. he would repair himself with these parts. Rising up, reborn, he decided that bikes were lame compared to the stronger multi-cylinder machine of the hot-rod and began to fix one up. Other scavengers noticed and proceeded to follow along with him as he established the ‘Hot-rod Bandits’. Their first task was to declare war on the Spectre Spitfires.

They didn’t stand a chance against these fully functional beasts of a machine.

With them out of the picture Thrash N. Crash began to conquer brick by brick, block by block, Junk Island for himself. It was here in the lap of luxury as the best of the scavengers that he realized, there wasn’t nearly enough marine attention on him.

It was as if they completely dismissed Bandits out of hand in favor of exclusively dealing with pirates!

That, Thrash decided, would not and could not stand. So he took off from Junk Island on a Hot-rod he refurbished to travel across the ocean seas plundering ships, islands and whatever loot he wanted. Step by step Thrash ramped up his bounties in order to once and for all prove that banditry was cooler than being a pirate – even though one could technically argue as a bandit of the seas Thrash became a pirate.
NEVERTHELESS, THRASH N. CRASH CONTINUES HIS VOYAGES ACROSS WEST BLUE TO STRIKE AWE IN THE HEARTS OF MEN, FEAR IN THE HEARTS OF HIS ENEMIES, AND ADMIRATION IN THE HEARTS OF WOMEN. FOR HE IS THE BANDIT THAT THE WORLD NEEDS!

Background:
Morgana was born and raised in a family that had two well-known things about them, firstly that being born into the Winterswind family meant that you could cook it was nearly as simple and the second thing that they had been involved in piracy for the past two generations.

Morgana was raised by her father, Montgomery her mother sadly didn’t survive childbirth. Her father was a strange man to her he was loving, caring, and very overbearing but to others, he was strict and cruel really it just depends who you were.

The two lived on a small island with one main attraction the restaurant “Winterswind Bar and diner” and it’s main clientele pirates why for a simple challenge. Winterswind bar and diner had a challenge that sounded simple but was hard, it was posted on the entrance ‘bring your own ingredients and I’ll cook for you, don’t like it congratulations you can take anything you wish from here, like it and I get one thing from you.” Montgomery was proud of this challenge and was 300 wins to 10 losses.

As soon as Morgana could walk she was helping in the kitchen whether it was pot washing or simple getting ingredients for the chef’s she loved being in the kitchen, the various smell, the hard work, and the pure love the chefs put into their jobs. Her days were simple but she loved them nonetheless.

She always had a sneaking feeling that she was different than most even from a young age, her fingernails grew much more rapidly than most having to be trimmed often, her hair grew incredibly fast, and she was always naturally agile more so than most, more so the ears and tail gave it away. She questions her father about this revelation who told her about her mother and the fact that she came from the Mink tribe and that Morgana was a half-mink hence the features.

Her life continued like this until she was fourteen. At the age of fourteen, her father began to grow bored, she had heard all about his life at sea as once upon a time he was a pirate and he loved every minute of it the various stories he had told her she could see why she had to admit the call of the sea was alluring for anyone. It was also during this year that her father had accepted a challenge of a crew and won as per usual, but unlike normal where he would usually take something he knew the worth of he took a risk and choose a box they had on the table. The crew tried to fight back but that just made him want it more and Montgomery was no slouch while he was no longer a pirate he never skipped training and quickly dispatched of the troublemakers. Opening the box inside stood a purple fruit covered in swirls and while at the time Morgana had no idea what it was Montgomery did and he just smiled.

Another year has passed by and strangely enough during this year Montgomery had been training Morgana in not just cooking but combat, this had put many ideas in Morgana’s mind most that they were going to be pirates together. The style Montgomery taught her was his own and it was strange, he called it ‘Beast Style it’s base stance was being on all fours, it involved punching, kicking, scratching, and even biting some people would call it dirty fighting but she didn’t care.

Another few years past and for the first time in sixteen years Montgomery did not wake Morgana up which was alarming, she rushed into his room and it was clean and looked like it had been emptied completely other than a small piece of paper on the bed.

“Kiddo I’ve adventured once and it’s time I set off once more, the sea has been calling my name for the past few years but bringing you with me isn’t an option after all who really wants to go on an adventure with their old man. I’ve given you the tools to survive, to fight, and to feed and you know I love my challenges so here's one for you, beat me to Raftel. I know, I know it’s unfair I've already got a crew, experience, and a head start but I’ve left something to even the odds a bit.

Love ya kiddo see you in the new world.”

Next to the note stood a familiar box from two years ago and inside was the familiar fruit she had seen before along with a note simply saying “Eat to get badass powers.” Bringing a smile to Morgana’s face as she ate it.

She spent the next year fully training her cooking and everything her devil fruit could do and it would most certainly help out a lot, she had always struggled at long-ranged combat, hell even mid-ranged was a struggle but this gave her a way to counter this weakness. At seventeen she spent the next year traveling getting used to how things worked on a boat and more importantly the awkwardness of cooking when everything is moving. She ended up on an island called Anvil Island working as a chef in a bar, she spent most of her time looking for a crew and getting some funds together but the progress had been slower than expected.

Match Match Fruit:
The Match Match fruit is a Paramecia-type devil fruit that gives the user's body the properties of a matchstick directly the tip of a matchstick allowing them to ignite parts of their body into fire. Now unlike a matchstick, these flame do not go out easily unless the user wishes them too, a significant force of wind or water can put the flames causing the user to have to relight the fire. These flames can be manipulated at will, however, there is a limit which is the size of the user's body, this means that should the user ignite their whole body the flames cannot be manipulated on the other hand if the user were to just ignite a finger they would be able to use much longer ranged attacks.

Name: Yenn "Monsoon" Abras

Age: 43

Bounty: 5,500,000

Height: 6'3"

Background: Like many, Yenn was born into a modest life. His father, a sailor, spent many days in the Grandline between islands. A simple deck-hand on not-so-important ships that would carry insignificant goods. A prosperous business, but for Yenn's father, one that took its toll on his health, regularly facing the hazards of the ocean they called home. His mother raised Yenn and his three brothers, performing odd jobs around the port town they grew up in if money ever became scarce. Rare as it was, for Yenn's father was dutiful in providing for his family. This non-descript island in Paradise rarely suffered from grievous pirate inquiries, with a few raids a year in their waters being the worst of it. An anomaly in such a sea, yet Yenn Abras was fortunate in his circumstances.

What he made of them, however, is another story.

The oldest of his siblings, and by no mere few years either, Yenn was the first to truly explore the island they lived on. From the grassy fields in the interior to the lively port that served as the only excuse to visit, apart from needing to fulfill the obligation to one's logpose. With his mother at home with his younger siblings and father off between islands, Yenn Abras was quick to fall into a dirtier crowd. In his mid teens, the youth was already learning how to successfully cheat in many street games and working (see: failing) at handling his alcohol. His generally good natured spirit, even in the face of defeat, led to many of his competition not immediately collecting on Yenn's debts. Likewise, his friendly words and sincere promises of repaying his tabs let bar owners and a few women of the evening excuse the young man's irregular payment methods. This continued on for years, until Yenn's youthful charm wore off and the young adult turned 19.

At first, Yenn's luck turned rotten when his regular friends turned him down for nightly activities. Bars, soon after, demanded immediate compensation for his latest rounds of binge drinking before allowing Yenn to open any new tabs. Worst of all, a few visits to his house from his gambling group (and anyone else he borrowed money from) alerted his mother and younger siblings to Yenn's sorted affairs in their port city. In a matter of weeks, Yenn was on the run and hiding from half the island, using the last of the good-will he built up to find himself smuggled onto a passing ship. Escaping the island was Yenn's only real course of action.

However dangerous the notion of leaving his home was, Abras seemed to take it in stride. A smile on his face and borrowed (stolen) sake on his lips, he found his way from one island to another, eventually selling himself as a deckhand when caught on one particular voyage to the kingdom of Alabasta. From there, Yenn found himself on a new ship via an accident (drunken mistake) and was hiding beneath the decks of an unknown pirate ship. For half a day, nursing his hangover and stomaching the situation as it came into greater light, Yenn hid. And past noon, he strode onto the deck and acted as if he belonged. With so many working, barely an eye paid Yenn any notice. His pirating career started off by one mistake, though he soon found it to his liking.

The crew was of no significance, even in Paradise one wouldn't expect much from them. But they taught Yenn valuable lessons. How to read maps, operating a logpose and a compass properly, telling storms from a distance, and how to fight. He even mastered the art of handling his liquor with his first crew. He sailed with them for two years before a fight between the first mate and captain turned deadly, with several of the officers dead and the remaining crew agree to an unspoken condition. They'd make it to port and go their different ways. Yenn, holding no grudges to anyone, found himself missing his first pirate crew and soon sought another.

Abras began to market himself as a professional navigator, when truthfully he had some experience but no where near as much for the claim, and was snatched up by passing pirates unfamiliar with the grandline. Typically, these crews would adopt Abras for at most a year before some disaster struck them. Almost always surrounding Yenn's drinking habits, leading to a poor job of evading dangerous storms or other anomalies. Yenn continued to trade crew for crew, stopping at islands to resume his earliest hobbies of drinking, whoring or gambling. Whenever his debts were too high, the man somehow found himself on a ship and off the island.

Two more events would mark Yenn's life, more so than any other. The first being the devil fruit he found himself in possession of. When he was 27, Yenn was in South Blue and in a terrible state. No money on him, his clothes were but rags and he couldn't feed himself. Desperation strewn across his being, and he stumbled into a town of ill repute. With what berries he could scrounge up, Abras dragged his ass into the seediest tavern and tried to play a game of cards with the locals - the only chance he had at gaining fortune. Yenn would go on to win a great prize, nearly a million berries, but his greed got the better of him and when deciding to double it, Abras was left broken, unable to pay the men, and in serious danger. One thrashing later, and Abras was shackled to a pirate ship's brig. It was decided that Abras would pay off his debts over time to the crew - now understanding he was playing against an officer of this crew - and be released on whatever island they dock at, once his servitude was finished.

For three months, Abras learned about the crew. They had two bounties on the captain and first mate, 22,000,000 and 9,000,000 a piece. They were stopping at nearly every island in South Blue in desperate search for an edge in the grandline, the many rumors of Paradise frightening these rookies. The captain wanted a devil fruit for himself. Through whatever connections a rookie pirate had, Abras assumed it was idle rumor and fanciful imagination primarily, this captain got wind of a fruit discovered by a local marine branch and being assigned to the local Rear Admiral to pick up. With haste, this rookie crew intercepted and stole the fruit, costing the lives of over half the crew and leaving the captain on his death bed. The first mate, reluctant to leave his side, allowed chaos to rule the ship as the marines pursued just days behind. In such a state, Abras saw opportunity. A gamble, if he were caught, his adventures would end sooner than he'd hope. But the man was not meek, and he managed to escape his cell in the early hours and steal the fruit for himself. Eating it, he soon discovered its powers and used them to escape the pirate ship and the marines, identity a secret from either.

The second event that changed Yenn Abras' life would be receiving his first and only bounty. Just three years ago, at the tender age of 40, Yenn Abras was the third mate of a mildly successful pirate crew. They stopped at Logue Town in the East Blue and changed their colors as to blend in with regular vessels. Abras was trusted with securing the ship whilst the captain and first mate went ashore to gather supplies and information. Yenn, already drinking, assured his captain that all would go well. Very well, in fact, as he invited many others on board, including off duty marines. They drank and played a game of dice, in which Yenn cheated them to the best of his abilities, tired at this stage of losing so regularly. One marine took ill to the notion and threatened Abras, to which the third mate drunkenly revealed the identity of his captain and crew. Nonplussed, the marine continued to shout threats before Abras tossed him off and onto the rough concrete and stone of the town. Not an hour later, thirty marines were marching on their ship, half the crew stuck somewhere in-land and Yenn less sober than before.

If asked, Abras will claim that the marine's fired on them immediately, and he had to escape in spectacular fashion. Likewise, the marine's will accuse him of a wicked, tactical mind. In his daze, Abras demanded the remaining pirates aboard to begin firing the cannons as they shipped off. The cannons barrage met other hauls of merchant and personal ships, mostly, and left them blazing messes. A few found purchase in docking structures and inns, causing havoc and distracting the marine task force. And, in quite a display of intelligence, one lobby was launched inside the deck of their own ship, turning it into an inferno. Yenn and a handful of others escaped in time and used the chaos to mask their moves, the whole while the unluckies aboard their ship sailed further out with earnest attempts to put out the raging fires underneath the deck. Yenn found a new ship to borrow and the survivors quietly left for the Grand Line. Not long after, his captain ratted Abras out assuming betrayal from the third mate. Yenn's bounty wasn't large, but it attracted enough names in the smaller seas to make the leisurely sailing life style difficult there.

One Piece Pipe Dream: While traveling for most of his life, Yenn came to a peculiar desire. No burning ambition such as the mantle of pirate king, but a modest want. Yenn Abras would enjoy visiting each island in the world, being able to claim such a thing and then deciding upon all those he's visited which he'll settle down on, is the long-term goal of this unambitious man.
